Having walked with Pino and Caroline once before (Tuscany) we knew what to expect. We did not think they could improve on our last experience, but amazingly they did! Pino and Caroline have an amazing ability to go above and beyond. Like fine wine, their walking tours have matured to absolute perfection. We enjoyed a truly wonderful week of learning and exploring with stories, laughter and impromptu songs on the trail. It was a pleasure to reconnect with these treasured friends once again.

I gave Caspin Journeys a 5 star rating because they offer an incredible vacation experience! The itinerary, lodging,restaurants and meals were all top notch. Their small group tour was intimate and gave you that temporary local flavor. The hikes were spectacular and the outside tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. Also, their single supplement for the lodging was very affordable. They have a great formula for creating a fantastic holiday experience! Wouldn’t change a thing!

I took part in a 6 day photography tour based at Caspin's beautiful Tuscany home. The whole experience was perfect, with accommodation that was excellent in lovely surroundings. Our package included meals, both at the site and on our trips out - again the very highest standard.
Pino, Simone and Antonio (Caroline was away) were splendid hosts. I can't thank them enough.

This was our 7th Caspin Journeys tour since 2001 and there’s a reason for that! Each tour is uniquely spectacular. Every detail is managed beautifully. The daily walking tours as well as specially arranged guided tours of historical sites are all outstanding. The accommodations are superb and food is excellent. As hosts, Pino and Caroline make sure everyone’s needs are met and everyone has a great time. They are consummate professionals in every way. Our friends and family all highly recommend them!

This was a first class experience conducted by two affable, intelligent, adventurous and fun people, Simona and Antonio. Simona is vivacious, creative and extremely competent, and Antonio is energetic and a virtual fountain of information concerning Italian history and culture. Lucca , the chef, was engaging and ready to teach. The people, the food, and the wine were all great! If we had the opportunity, we would definitely repeat this experience!

I have been fortunate to have made two trips with Caspin Journeyr. Both times every detail was well planned. Hotels and meals where carefully selected and of the highest quality. The pace of travel adjusted to the group's wishes. The sights were spectacular and truly memorable. Each overall experience exceeded all my expectations. The best part was the warmth and friendship extended by the tour guides who are also the owners of the company. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a luxurious yet active vacation seeing spectacular sights.

I just returned from my first journey with Caspin Journey’s and could not be happier with my experience. After two weeks with Anthony and Simona on the island of Corsica, I can’t wait for another adventure with them and this company. The hiking was all that I could hope for from challenging terrain, 89 switchbacks, crossing the GR20 trail, and the joy of removing hiking boots to cross a body of water in order to reach the beach and continue a lovely, flowered filled hilly hike. The meals were outstanding from Simona’s terrific picnics to freshly caught fish for our group in Ersa, dinner by sunset in Marine de Porto, lovely fish for lunch at Osani in the village of Girolata to name a few. Accommodations were lovely, comfortable and well located to each stop.

Since 2001, our family and friends have experienced 5 incredible walking tour adventures with Caspin Journeys and we're about to enjoy our 6th this fall! Caroline and Pino consistently provide exemplary service focusing on each traveler's needs to ensure everyone has an unforgettable vacation. Every detail is perfectly planned and executed. From the interesting and unique sites, just the right amount of historical insight and special tours, wonderful accommodations, unbelievably beautiful walks and vistas, and the always fabulous meals and wine, it's all top notch! It would be impossible to plan such a trip on one's own. We wish we could take all their tours--working on it!

My mother and I traveled to beautiful Tuscany, Italy in Nov. 2016 to celebrate my 40th birthday.

I was looking for an opportunity to learn what it FEELS like to live in Italy, rather than just see the sights (which ARE wonderful and amazing!). We booked the cooking/food tour with Caspin Journeys and I could not have been more pleased with my experience.

We began each day of our Tuscan adventure in the beautiful Nobile guest house relaxing with great coffee and delicate pastries from a local bakery. Each day we were guided by either Pino or Antonio & Simona to new towns to view the architecture, hear the stories of old, and learn about the treasured foods and wines. We stopped for Cappuccino (only before noon!) and expresso in the afternoon. We dined in wonderful restaurants filled with the local people, trying something new every time.

We would have a small respite upon coming home to the Nobile guest house. When Luca (our Master Chef) arrived, we could either enjoy watching him at work or dive right in to learn how to prepare some of Tuscany’s finest foods. These evenings were so fun while cooking, feasting, drinking great wine, and enjoying the company of the Nobile family.

For the week I spent in Italy, I felt well-guided, indulged, enlightened, and most importantly welcomed by this great Italian family … it was a trip my mother and I will never forget!

We got serenaded by Carolyn, fed beautiful food by Pino and Carolyn, tightened all our walking muscles, learned some history and have a wonderful time. Highly recommend Caspin for a fulfilled walking experience.

The Via Francigena itinerary was wonderful with so much variety, a perfect balance of walks with shorter, more relaxed days to more demanding days. As usual the lunches were something we looked forward to every day and we were never disappointed - thank you so much Simona. The accommodation was up to the usual high standard with some surprises such as the Residenza Torre di San Martino and the hot spa at Ca del Moro Resort Pontremoli. A perfect remedy for some tired bodies. It is always disappointing to have to finish a tour with you all but the anticipation of our next tour with you keeps us smiling.

Caspin Journeys provided an excellent experience for our group of 18 older hikers in Corsica. They guided our hikes, made all hotel selections and reservations, provided exceptional lunches during our hikes, arranged for all cultural visits and even handled reservations for wine tasting at a very special winery. Our only
responsibility was to make airline reservations to/from the U.S. We have traveled with Caspin Journeys to Sicily previously and would absolutely travel with them again whether we are an organized hiking group or simply joining one of their other
tour programs.

I just finished my 2nd trip with Caroline & Pino and in the planning stages of a 3rd trip ....need i say more?
They are delightful, knowledgable, interesting, helpful, and fun hosts. Hotels are superb as are the meals & drink. The hikes are varied and beautiful, off the beaten path mostly so you can enjoy all the nature and quiet. The guides are full of interesting & educational information. Well worth booking a trip with Caspin Journeys!

Our family, ranging in age from 8 to 74, had the time of our lives on our Cotswolds vacation. Caroline and Pino were knowledgeable, organized, generous, and most of all, flexible as we walked in sun and rain through the beautiful countryside. Couldn't have asked for better companions.
