Supposedly picked 4 days after item was booked for pick up, then on forwarded and twenty one days later, NO PARCEL. Sent Email asking to trace parcel and guess what, still waiting for an answer to that as well. Why are these people allowed to run a business?

Just horrific , product is sitting in their warehouse for 5 days and can not get a response on when it will be delivered or even a response. Nobody is willing to help

My delivery arrive just after 3 day that I place my order from over east. I can't believe how fast it was!!! also the package was well packed. Would definitely recommend this company

Used this lot to collect 3 items from Heidelburg West (Vic) to go to Adelaide paid over $238. I forwarded the consignment labels to the provider who attached them to the goods to be collected. Was meant to be a transit of only 1-2 days. On the 3rd day I tried to contact them (no direct phone) only an std email address with response time within 24 hours - that did not happen. 4th day I did some research and found their parent company (Hunter Transport P/L) phoned them, provided the consignment number, was told the items weren't scanned by the driver, and they will get back to me before the end of the day - that didn't happen. Left more emails to ask them to get back to me - no response. On the 5th day I raised the issue with PayPal. Again phoned the parent company only to be told the items had incorrectly been diverted to Melbourne depot, and they get them sent to Adelaide depot, no further contact from EGO until 8th day when they sent an email saying the goods were in Adelaide Depot and were being delivered today. I looked up tracking to find the goods were then diverted back to the Adelaide depot. I decided to go to the depot to collect the goods (I had paid for door to door delivery). Once there I was told the goods are here to go to the stores where one guy went to get the goods, in the meantime another employee comes out to say the goods cannot be released as there appears to be some investigation and payment is being withheld. I explained the investigation is in progress by Paypal because the goods have not been delivered. Then the other storeman comes out to say only 2 of the 3 items are here the other part has been left in Melbourne. Based on Paypal advice, I refused to close the case until the goods were released and they eventually send me an email to collect then, another trip to collect from their Adelaide depot.
A very dis-organised, and improper transport group - I will never use again and would advise anyone to steer clear of them.

There are always two sides to a story and mine happened to be the one with a happy ending. Package sent from Adelaide to Sydney arrived in two days flat.

Truth be told after reading many of the horror stories, I became very nervous when the sender said he was going to use e-go. The fee was very cheap, $15 for a 13kg box with $550 worth of items. As a matter of fact, I was so nervous I almost asked him to cancel it even after paying the fee. I would have been happy to pay double that if I knew for sure the box would arrive safely to my destination. Anyways either this or AusPost for $50 and I didn't want to go with AusPost so I had to put my faith with e-go.

How thrilled I was when I saw the delivery guy with my box full of goodies arrived in front of my house this afternoon. A big thank you agent 543. It really means a lot to me. I hope life treats you well.
I did receive an email notification in the morning that my package was picked up by a delivery person and will be delivered on the day. Also, the website posted a regular update of the progress. The box, the size of 40 cubic cm was intact. and in perfect shape. No sign at all that it was mishandled.

I am really sorry to all the other people who've had a bad experience. I hope mine is the rule rather than an exception.

I've sent and received large boxes/ cartons of vintage and antique items via EGO for nearly 10 years now and have not had a problem. I've used depot to depot mainly and the items have always been looked after with no visual damage to any of the boxes. I do put on my own "FRAGILE" and "HANDLE LIKE EGGS" labels just to give them a heads up. There has been the odd delay here or there, but using depot to depot has certainly meant consistent and reliable deliveries for us. It's a shame there are so many negative reviews for this company, if you are near their drop off and pickup outlets and don't mind getting off your backside, I think you will find the service to be good value for money and less chance for delays by interconnecting couriers and on-forwarding extra companies which are involved with getting your parcel further out from EGO's mainline operations. The problems aren't always EGO's fault directly! How do I know this? Easy, I'm an ex-truckie that have driven for some of those smaller "on-forwarders" and some of them can be the cause of the problems / delays. -Andrew from the Yarra Valley , Victoria.

Ive used this company every now and then over the past 3 years but lately their prices aren't very competitive compared to other couriers and now Ive just been incorrectly overcharged twice in the past fortnight, and because they have my bank details they just help themselves and let me know afterwards. They only have an email contact form on their website and it took more than a week since i emailed them about this issue until i received any reply. The first overcharge was due to their driver not picking up the item on a Friday, and then when he came late afternoon Monday, one of their other drivers had already collected the item that morning...a failure on their part for sending 2 drivers in the same day, yet they were happy to charge me $44 as a ''futile pick up fee'' because their second driver came when they shouldn't have. The second charge was due to a 0.4kg difference between what i thought was the weight and what they weighed it in as...it was only $1.65 difference and i had not intentionally booked it with any discrepancies, but they were still quick to deduct this extra fee from my account, even before the first incorrect overcharge had been addressed. They have in the end refunded both of these fees as credit on their website (although i am trying to get them to refund back to my bank account as it should not have been deducted in the first place) but the extra time and stress and multiple emails to sort this out is something i could do without.

Online pick up requested for two days time.
Four days latter and still hasn't been picked up and two deadlines missed with site contact. Never to use again!
No phone contact and very delayed response time via email if they respond at all.

Was charged an additional $25.00 without any notice a week Later. The gearbox delivered was the identical to the gearbox Measured. Poor service, additional charges went unnotified before charging, delays with their express service... complete frauds!

Will be cancel ing my credit card, and making these transactions unauthorised.

Shouldn't be in business!

Worst service, I was told up on booking that the crate was going to take 12 days max to arrive to Perth from Sydney.
2 weeks later from picking it up I made an enquiry about the whereabouts is my crate and when it’s getting delivered to me.
They couldn’t even locate the crate and refused to confirm that the crate was picked up over 12 days ago.
Then when I emailed them again and explained what’s been happening and sent them a screenshot of the conservative between me and the seller where he confirmed that the crate was picked up over 12 days ago they finally decided to chase it and got back to me saying that it’s only just got dropped off at the main nsw depo after almost 15 days of the pick up of the crate.

I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy, please be aware of those scammers and do yourself a favour and use a well known companies such as toll or TNT.

Package was never picked up after 1st attempt as promised by the driver, sent complaint email only to be advised I would be charged an extra $16 for their incompetence. Requested a Mgr to call me back - (yeah right) still waiting.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - they are a joke and should be shut down

Only 2 of the 5 items arrived. They refuse to return my emails as there is no phone number. Never use them, I paid $1850 for parts that I never received. The sender confirmed he delivered all 5 items

Got wheels sent from Melbourne to Sydney and reading all these reviews made me worried. The experience was really good. The wheels came in 3 days. There not the fastest but not bad especially for the price and nothing was damaged.

180kg item worth $4500 received safely on 4th afternoon (estimated 3-5 days). Its frustrating reading all the bad reviews, but now believe the cases without problems dont get reviewed enough.

Package was booked for pickup 3/9 and 1-2 day delivery. Picked up 10th, now is the 17th and still not aorrived, daily emails saying it will show up. but doesnt!!!! They have no phone number, or details beyond an email address, they dont apologise or discount for the delay. They should not be allowed to do business in such a dishonest way.

In a nutshell readers, AUST POST is miles better than Sendle or e-GO; safe yourself the grief & use AUS POST only after my 47 years of experience if that counts for anything.

AFTER booking a pickup for a certain day, and not showing up to a workshop thats open from 8am to 6pm, they lied by claiming they came to a closed door, but instead of getting upset and canceling, we asked when would they come next, to which they said "next day"! Another day wasted. We rang again complaining of NO PICKUP, and we got the same false information again. We rang the DEPOT office and advised the lady (name with-held) who apologised and said she'd welcome our man to bring it to the Dandenong Depot as we could not delay this parcel any longer. A short while later we get a surcharge for $22 for one FRUITLESS ATTEMPT to pickup our parcel (not 2 as they claimed). i rang this lady at the office depot, and she replied how silly this was and confirmed it would be credited back to our credit card. Weeks go by. Nothing. I rang to enquire what happened to this $22 return and got apologies and assurances again by this same female. A week later I started ringing and leaving messages on this females voice-mail every week for months without ONE return call.
Finally I tried another office number that got me to a man who said he knew the matter and that I should "drop it" as there was no claim they would accept.. REALLY ?
Well I hope they are reading this because they've picked the wrong guy to screw over

dont waste your time and money on these scammers, sure initial charge is better than other known companies, but once they have your goods / details inc credit card details they just help themselves, how about this one, booked a package for a customer with a charge of about $110 for delivery. Items are worth $250.
The very next day I noticed a transaction on my card for $247. Found an email from E-GO in my junk folder stating cubic weight is actually 250kg or so and that’s what that charge was for.
So these cowards that hide behind an email only form of communication site with a rate of 90% no response from them expect me to pay $110 for delivery which was paid at time of booking plus $247 for apparently being of such a large size, For items (car parts worth $250) that are nowhere to be found?? and when I questioned this matter, a response after 3 days (cut and paste generic response) stated that the system automatically sets the correct dimensions and the charge for delivery adjusts accordingly, yet that same system couldn’t give me a single measurement other than the ones I entered during the booking process or any pictures or video showing my package being handled in any way!! All this while my package is missing, scanned as picked up a week earlier and that’s it. I’ve been in the courier game for about 13-15 years now and know exactly how things work. So I canceled my credit card details and set those 2 extra charges as unauthorised. Mind you, the parcel is still missing at this stage. I’ve reached out to my customer and offered a full refund as I believe it will never reach them. Then I do a quick google search on E-GO and it gets funky, 5 different business names all with the same addresses/ P.O. Boxes ACN and so on that all point back to Hunter Express. All under the same company with different hunter express depot locations, not registered for gst yet they charge it in every invoice. Below I’ve attached some pictures of the package itself which has disappeared and some screenshots of the emails / responses etc
I’ve read all the reviews and I’m not the first it’s happened to, from no shows, missing packages, extra charges debited without consent and so on. Save yourself the time, the effort and the headache. This company will go down it’s just a matter of time, so get yourself a reputable company and don’t look back. I thank you for taking the time to read this review and I hope no one else falls Into the same trap, warn your friends family And customers to never use

I have used ego half a dozen times now with single cartons of valuable items and have never had any issues with them. The estimated transit times, while sometimes slow, have been accurate, and when I have made an enquiry via web they have replied within hours. Their pricing is excellent and the couriers have been polite and efficient.

Having booked alot of pickups from e-go (Hunters Express) over the years, it is rare they pickup at or around the time they are booked in, or even on the day they are booked in, if at all! The last few we've booked in, the driver has not come at all. And they are constantly changing drivers, as they always leave...so I think they treat their staff horribly.

This is the worst, and most unreliable delivery service you can use. I advise strongly against it.

Couriers turned up on the wrong days and when they finally came on the scheduled date it was outside the hours of 8am - 5pm. I would not recommend this service.
