12/13/05 UPDATE
A couple of days after I posted my original review, Hardware Cooling contacted me by phone and said they had sent me three emails saying they needed a different address. I rechecked both my email to make sure I hadn't missed something -- no email there. However, they did ship the item the next day and it finally arrived yesterday. It looks about how I thought it would and it seems to operate fine.

I am not sure whether I would order from them again -- I'll see how long the laptop cooler holds up before I decide.

The person I talked to on the phone was polite.

Now that I have the item, I will change my rating to somewhat satisfied. However, the "we sent you three emails" comment makes me feel not so confident in their customer service. (I had received exactly one email from them verifying the order and credit card payment.)

I ordered a laptop cooler online from hardwarecooling.com on 11/12/2005. I paid online at the time of ordering. The payment cleared my bank on 11/14. I waited patiently until 11/27 when I wondered what had happened to my order. I checked my account online and it showed that the order was still "pending" -- awaiting shipment for payment confirmation. I immediately emailed them from their website and have had no response to date (11/30). I emailed again today. This is my first order with this company and I'm disappointed at the lack of response to my queries. Not to mention the frustration of having not received the product I have paid $35 for (plus $7 shipping).

I purchased 2 fans from this store and payed for them with Paypal. After waiting more than a week to hear whether the items had shipped or not and seeing my order as "pending" on their website I contacted them via email and telephone about my order. After waiting another two days and not hearing back from them, I requested that they cancel my order and ordered the fans from a different store. I received an email the next day saying that the items were ready to ship and asking if I still wanted them. I told them no, refund my money, and they gave me a full refund within a few hours.

I placed an order on 11/29/08 for a notebook cooling pad. On 12/02/08 I received an email that my order had been updated to "processing." As of 12/14/08 I had not received a shipping notification email or the cooling pad, so I sent them an email letting them know they needed to ship out my item or I would dispute the charge with my credit card company, as they had actually charged me at the time my order was placed, NOT when my order shipped. On 12/16/08, they finally shipped it.

I will not be shopping with this company again. They took more than 2 weeks to ship my item while they had my money, and only shipped it after I threatened to get my money back. My experience is the same as the many reviews on other websites that I read about this company's shoddy business practices.

I ordered a 4 port usb hub that is ac powered and got it within 2 days. I would definetly recommend hardware cooling again to all my friends.

Ordered 3 Silent 80mm 24.8 dBA fans and a set of 10 black thumbscrews. My card was charged as soon as I ordered. A month goes by and no stuff. Emails to them went unanswered. Finally got a hold of someone on the phone who claims they are waiting on shipment of fans. I wait another month, same story (by the way the out of stock fan is still listed for sale this entire time.) They offer to ship some Evercool 25 dBA fans instead. I reluctantly agree.
My order arrives and I open it to find 3 28 dBA fan and green thumbscrews. So I got some loud fans and some screws that don't match my case over 2 months after my inital order.
STAY AWAY would be my advice, these guys are running an online store worthy of 1996...

I placed an order for an Evercool 3 Fan Hard Drive Cooler Sunday on August 12 2007 at about 11:30pm. Received a confirmation Monday August 13. My package came in the mail Thursday August 16. Because I'm very cheap, I chose the cheapest shipping method and was quite surprised how fast I received it. The cooler was packaged carefully in a sturdy USPS box.

I placed an order for 3 ball bearing HOC fans, but was sent the wrong item. I got much cheaper much crappier galaxy brand fans. I called 3 times at different times and no one will answer the phone. I emailed support about my problem with no response for 3 days. I suppose i'm left with the only option to do a charge back on my credit card. I'm not sure if these fans aren't made anymore or what, but the fans they send me arn't even listed on their site as avalible to buy.

I have been a customer since 2005. They have the best prices on all the items I am looking for. They offer quantity discounts on the items I buy the most. You guys rock.

I purchased a Logitech Keyboard & Mouse Combo from hardware cooling for twenty fix buxs and got it the very next day. Great price and great service for standard shipping. Thanks hardware cooling.

I ordered a few adapters from this company and received it in 4 business days. Amazing service and great product.

I placed an order with this business in August. They were very quick to take the money from my Visa, but I had no contact from Hardware Cooling until mid September (approx 6 weeks later).

I wrote this review and started legal action to retrieve my money and I was then contacted and my money was refunded.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience as Hardware Cooling did not respond to emails.

Ordered a Logitech Revolution Mouse refurbished and it arrived within 3 days.. What an awesome mouse.

Placed order on 8/1. Rec'd on 8/6, but two items were incorrect--wrong case fans were sent. No response to msg left on "Contact Us" page, so I called them on 8/9 and the guy said he would send the correct fans that same day. No fans rec'd as of 8/15, so I called today to check on status. The guy said he needed to check on it and would call me back in 45 min. No callback rec'd an hour later, so I called them again but got answering machine this time, so left msg. That's where I'm at as of 0930MT on 8/16. No correct fans rec'd yet and no info on their whereabouts.

Follow-up comment: Hardware Cooling never did send the correct fans like they said they would and I never rec'd any explanation why. So I sent them a final msg on 8/24 via their "Contact Us" page requesting a refund for the difference between the more expensive ball bearing fans I paid for (and never got) and the cheaper sleeve bearing fans they had sent me. It is now 10/6, and I never got any response or a refund. Take your chances...

12 days later, order has not shipped, I have not been contacted. I attempted to contact them via their online form, no response. The billing has gone through on my credit card the day after. I will try the phone number soon.

I placed an order for the Logitech LX501 Cordless Desktop for my Mac. Called to make sure they had it in stock and they did indeed. They shipped it out to me and I received it in great condition.

At First I thought I got screwed out of forty bucks when my order said it shipped on the status but the tracking number was invalid. So I wrote a email to customer service saying wheres my order I want a refund if they ever read it. I wrote that at 10pm, 20 minutes later I get a call from them saying we're sorry but the product I ordered was out of stock for a few weeks waiting on the next shipment to come in. So they offered me the 15" cold cathodes for the same price as the 12" ccs so I took that offer. So basically if you have a problem with your order email and they'll get back to you soon.

Order 2 sets of Logitech speaker systems. Item received was not as described on their site. Speakers was crushed in and systems did not work. Very poorly packaged. Hard Ware cooling (Tom in Cust. Service) after several emails stated that these were not the correct item and agreed to send a UPS shipping ticket for their return and that they would refund my purchase. 2 Wks. later, no UPS pickup ticket has arrived and after 5 emails to Hardware cooling, I have received no response. Beware this company because customer service is apparently near non existent and after searching for a resolution, there are several posts on the internet relating similar experiences by other buyers.

I placed an order on 11/29 for a cooling fan and a pair of speakers for their Black Friday sale. My credit card was charged immediately upon ordering and I received an email pretty quickly saying my order was confirmed. Good right?

A month and a half later here I am, still with no shipping confirmation and no product. I've sent a total of four emails saying that if I didn't receive my product, I would take steps with my CC, the BBB, and this site...apparently that's not a big deal to HardwareCooling. I even called their store and gave my order number and the person on the phone said he would take care of it, and still I've no result.

Not only did I not receive a product after 1.5 months of waiting, but I didn't even get a refund!
