I bought a holiday to The Maldives through Kenwood Travel as their prices were extremely competitive. I dealt with them mostly online, only needing to make a couple of phone calls to clarify things. Finding the holiday I wanted and booking it was easy on their website and I even had the opportunity to upgrade my flight choice. I had instant confirmation of my booking and was told when I needed to pay the balance of outstanding money and when I would receive my documentation. I had a reminder that payment of the balance was due beforehand and knew exactly what to do to pay this. Documentation was sent through on the date it was expected. My phone calls to my agent were to clarify some details - the agent was polite, professional, knowledgeable and dealt with my enquiry quickly and to my satisfaction. Everything went very smoothly and I was very pleased with the service I received from Kenwood Travel. I would use them again and would certainly recommend them.

**UPDATE**
after my review on here Kenwood contacted me and as advised my £300"cancellation fee"is actually being held as a credit(first time I have been informed of this)....I advised I wanted a full cash refund as per yesterdays CMA advice, however they refused to acknowledge this government advice and insist on the credit. I have now logged this with the CMA for investigation. The only positive thing to come out of this contact is that they claim they have processed the partial refund now instead of in 90 days..... fingers crossed!

very dissatisfied with this company.... thought we were booking with someone reputable for a dream holiday to Jamaica. Were booked for a week over Easter which obviously we were unable to take..... they offered a refund, minus £300 cancellation fee!.....we are desperate for the money back due to our financial situation but to add insult to injury they are now saying it will be 90 days to get our partial refund..... won't be using them when we rebook for sure!

When the Foreign office advised against all non-essential travel to Dubai due to the Coronavirus, I cancelled my booking with Kenwood.
I cancelled because I could not change my travel dates as suggested due to our unknown commitments next year. At this point I was advised by Kenwood that I would not get any refund for this booking and to claim off of my travel insurance.
My travel insurance will not pay out as it was booked as a ‘package holiday’ and in fact we are entitled to a refund from Kenwood Travel being ABTA registered.
The ABTA website states that ;
‘Where no suitable alternative is possible, your travel company may offer you a refund of the money you paid depending on the terms and conditions of your booking and depending on whether or not you booked a package holiday.
If you booked a package holiday, you are entitled to a refund.’
I’m posting on here as no one has bothered to reply to my email. I see ‘Ken’ answers on here. Maybe you could get back to me and explain why I have been lied too regarding a refund and lost all my money....

I have been to Thailand many times but travelled first time with Kenwood during Easter break.
I will always choose Kenwood as the holiday was better than I thought and great price!
I stayed at Amari Phuket which was lovely ????

Kenwood once again got it spot on with our Easter holidays - 2 days in Singapore (Hotel Jen Orchardway - awesome location) and then Centara Villas in Samui. Sandy always listens carefully to my list of what we need and in five years hasn't got it wrong!

We booked a holiday in December to Florida for this August. With all the uncertainty of Covid 19 and just generally feeling uneasy about going this August with our kids, we asked if we could rearrange to next year and Kenwood didn't hesitate, listened to everything and sorted it quickly for the new dates. Fantastic customer service when initially booking and they helped us book the holiday we wanted and it was a better price too.

(a) Didn't make it clear that we would need an ESTA even though we were travelling to Jamaica
(b) Didn't plan enough time at transfer airports, nearly missed 2 flights!!

Aaron organised the trip to Thailand for me, but also advised me on the fishing complex that I visited whilst over there at gillhams fishery Everything he said that would happen, happened as he said it would, from the very first contact his wealth of knowledge, advise, helpfulness and his all round enthusiasm for helping me to have a holiday of a lifetime for me and my partner, I can’t thank him and kenwood travel enough. We loved it so much we are visiting again next year and will be in contact with Aaron again soon to sort out dates and travel arrangements. Thank you Aaron — superstar.

Had an issue with a hotel I had booked but then after speaking with Zeb he helped me to transfer to a different one with no problems at all. Service was excellent and efficient.

Nothing is to much trouble , they try to save you money of your holiday are very quick at responding to your enquiry 3rd time I've used Kenwood and the customer services and prices are second to none , once booked everything ran so smoothly throughout the whole experience everytime

I've not met any Kenwood Rep at the hotel/ airport etc and when asked nobody did know Kenwood and what I was talking about, so I've just gave up. Also, I changed the hotel after my initial booking, as received email from you that my first choice Romana was going under construction - at the time of our holiday there was no construction work at Romana but they've changed into Hilton - so I was unhappy that I was suggested to change my first choice.

I have rated kenwood travel 5 star because Zac is so help full nothing is a problem and gets us the best deal my holiday in Las Vegas was so good we had good seats on the plane and had free breakfast every day.i always book my holidays with Zac.

Under the circumstances we are currently experiencing with COVID-19 there was a lot of uncertainty whether our holiday to Florida at the end of June 2020 would go ahead and we were due to pay our final balance.
I cannot commend enough the excellent customer service provided by Abbie Sontag at Kenwood Travel.
Abbie always responded to my queries in a timely and efficient manner and nothing was ever too much trouble. It was a stressful time for both ourselves and the staff at Kenwood Travel as they were so busy sorting out the many customers who had the same concerns as us. Abbie clearly outlined the options available to us. We decided to keep the deposit with Kenwood Travel which could be used for a future booking until December 2021. In addition as we could also book 11 months in advance which means we have until November 2022 to use the deposit against a holiday of our choice.
Abbie is a first class travel specialist and brilliant at the job she does.
I would not hesitate recommending Kenwood Travel to anyone.

I always use Jit at Kenwood, he’s just great! They are absolutely the best travel agents; they always have good deals, they are always very professional, friendly & well informed about the Destinations.

Kenwood Travel is a very professional travel agent based in London. Their service is very professional and their prices very competitive.
We usually travel to the Caribbean and I deal with Lai Yap who is their Caribean/Indian Ocean specialist. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We arrived at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, to find many facilities had been closed and there was major demolition work being done in the hotel grounds and there had been no warning from Kenwood.

We had an amazing trip to Mauritius in January 2019. Kenwood Travel had put all the things in place to ensure we were supported/ guided throughout the trip. The hotel and stay were wonderful and we were provided with the contact details of the local rep, who we would call of message at any time; luckily we never had to.

The transfers from and to the airport were faultless, both ways there were only one more couple in the minivan to be dropped off which made the whole experience a lot less stressful.

The Ravenala Attitude Resort we stayed at was a perfect place to relax and have fun with our daughter. Beautifully presented and smart, the resort was also relaxed and unpretentious. The evening entertainment was varied and the many restaurants to choose from were an added bonus. Staff were lovely and so helpful.

We also booked 3 day trips through the local rep which were incredible. The guides were so knowledgable and enthusiastic about the history, culture and attractions of Mauritius, it was inspiring to be shown all of the wonders that this small island has on offer.

I thought I had a booking with Emirates airlines from Manchester through to Colombo, Sri Lanka. When the details arrived I was booked with co share partner Fly Dubai from Dubai to Colombo.
I was never made aware of this. I was disappointed not to be able to enjoy Emirates award winning service. Instead I had a long airport transfer, had to sit in a small terminal while waiting for the fly Dubai flight which was similar to a Ryanair no frills flight.
If I had been made aware of this I would never have agreed to this route.
Kenwood travel were not interested is trying to resolve this and initially did not seem to understand the difference in the flights numbers.
Not sure very are as experience as they say they are.

Michelle at Kenwood Travel was fantastic. She recommended the Zoetry Hotel Punta Cana which was beautiful but the food was practically inedible there.

Also people were constantly being shown around the place being sold "VIP"aka timeshares club memberships!

I let Michelle know of all this and she was shocked! Not her fault!

I would definitely use her again.
