When we decided to install a servery in our kitchen thinking about security of course there was only one choice for us and that was to call Modern group and have a roller shutter installed.After we removed the window and framed it out Modern came in and did the rest. We couldn't be happier with the results..

A little while ago we had our roof restored with modern after stupidly going with a cheaper company first and it not lasting 12 months before the paint started coming off..We have now got a beautiful looking roof that we know is gonna last us for our lifetime atleast. and we got what we paid for this time.If only we got it done with modern first we could have saved alot of money

After a negative review and a follow up call from customer care, my complaint was referred to general manager. He was able to sort out all of the original installation issues and as a result I ordered another 4 roller shutters. We are very pleased with the work carried out

We have had our tiled roof restored just in time for the summer storm season. The colour match is fantastic, service was prompt, and the tradesman punctual and clean. Very happy with the result.

Hello, we have been buying Modern Roller Shutters since 2005-2006 and went back to Modern when we needed another roller shutter to keep the heat out of our bedroom as we knew the high standard of quality and customer care. The sales team were great and the price competitive. The measuring up and installation was absolutely amazing. Plus, the latest roller shutter was installed when Modern Group QLD Shutters said that it would be. Thank you for another great roller shutter!

3 external roller shutters have now been installed since 2017 without fault. Great product and still going strong. The installer, very friendly, professional and clean should be commended for his work. Thanks Modern Group.

I’m a long term customer of Modern and I rang the store, the sales man arrived promptly, the order was made, exact sizing was measured, the shutters were ready in no time at all, they were installed and I am extremely grateful for the cooler bedroom. I had after service calls to ensure I was satisfied with the product and service.
All throughout I was more than satisfied with everyone and everything. Thank you Modern.

I had plantation shutters installed in 3 bedrooms, early on Jan 14th at Toowong.

The entire process was unbelievably professional, from the quote to the finished product.

I note the very efficient, courteous service from all concerned, particularly Manager Brendan, Production Mgr Sandra Hobbs and the installer Richard.

I would unreservedly recommend The Modern Group.

Just had roof restored after two inferior jobs , wherein the restoration and repair work was incomplete.By far the best work done by Modern , particularly Matt the restorer. Excellent workmanship. Would endorse and recommend Modern.

Easy to navigate the store what I wanted.Shutter was more for security as it faced the street,already have one on my bedroom window so blends perfectly.The gentleman who installed the shutter was a professional and a real gentleman,pleasure to make him a cup of tea.

Modern provided an excellent roofing restoration and just in time to save us from the winter deluge. The process was positive and went without a hitch from the informative sales process to the installation which was professionally done. With a thirty year guarantee we are confident our house will look ship shape well beyond the time it comes to sell.

Got one outdoor patio blind installed was so good i got a second one installed yesterday around my pergola so i can use the space in winter. Troy who installed both was professional and did a great job. Would totally recommend Modern.

It started ... OLD and worn out with a greying tinge and damaged pointing... 3 days later hey presto it was like new... charcoal and glistening in the late afternoon sun... What more can I say ... It looks like NEW.

Shutters were purchased and installed in 2016 and then some more were purchased and installed in 2017. We are happy with the product and they have worked faultlessly since then. I understand calling the customers after the product is installed is important as it shows good customer support and care. However to keep calling every year for four years has become annoying. We have asked to no longer be called but today we again received another call. What part of "please don't call us anymore, we will call you if the need arises" do you not understand?

I bought a house that was built in the late 70s and needed some renovations. One of the first things we wanted to work on was the roof. Lots of mold, lots of broken tiles and all the caps and pointing was a disaster. Of all the companies I spoke to, I was very impressed with Modern. The gentleman they sent me (Joe) was friendly and experienced and unlike several other services, wasn't pushy. He was very happy for us to look at other quotes and discuss our needs over the several weeks we spent deciding. He spotted an issue that was also identified by our house inspector and helped us work out a solution to fix it (some beams were letting water into the roof due to a poor design decision and this was rectified). I appreciated his honesty that they weren't as cheap as your local tradie, but that their product came with a guarantee we could trust and in the end that swung it for us and he was happy to negotiate with us to find a price point we could afford. We were having a baby in the next three months and they worked with us to ensure the work was completed before the baby was born (with three weeks to spare!). The tradies they sent gave us their number and were happy to answer all our questions and even provided some advice on further work we might want to do ourselves. The ridgecaps were redone and look fantastic and the colour turned out excellent (ironstone). All in all a good experience with a polite and communicative company.

Keeps the bedroom cooler in summer and retains the heat in winter. Noise level from outside is significantly reduced. Excellent product. In the process of purchasing Solar from Modern. Would recommend this company highly.

We had a complete house done including a huge stacker sliding doors supplied and fitted by Modern group and found the quality of the product first class and the installation was carried out in a very professional way and the finished job was first class WE were advised every step of the way from the time we placed our order to when our shutters would be ready for installation

I had an issue with the product and now they are prepared to rectify it. So far so good will update the outcome.

This company is keep saying they are in business for 43 years. However my experience with this business is very obscure, so be very careful.

I have had [name removed] to measure and quote our alfresco enclosing. As a side note, they didn't follow any Covid19 measurements or social distancing, I tried the best I can stay away from minimum distance.

She was nearly 1 hour late and told she got confused with the suburb name. My wife who was waiting for the appointment, had to leave for work because she was late.

When [name removed] came she showed me all the contract details and marketing/review discounts they offer. Before giving a quote, she said I she can't give a quote without having two parties.

Before getting the appointment I have told their admin that I am waiting for another quote and I wouldn't commit to anything on the spot. Then the admin girl said that's fine. When I indicated that to [name removed], she said "Oh she is a silly girl".

She refused to give me the quote because there are no two parities. I said to her that we build this house last year and even builders gave me quotes for the whole house without having two parties. Then she said, she would email me the quote. I have never heard from her back.

I have tried to contact [name removed] but failed and admin staff was going to arrange another measure and quote but I don't want to waste any more time. They don't want to give a quotation. Only way they give quotes is by meeting two parties personally. Very suspicious.

Just thought to write a review because this company is very obscure and they give discounts for writing reviews. Be careful!

We had already installed modern shutters on the front of the house since july 2015 And this has made a big difference to our house appeal.! So it was a no brainer to again have modern shutters install more roller shutters . What can I say Stephen was an understanding, patient and very genuine person. No pushy sales, just honest good service and was able to put up with my husband!
