I’ve been an overseas worker for more than 10 years now. And my only goal was to earn money to support my family back home, but when I went to Australia last 2012, everything changed. As I saw an opportunity to bring my family here and start a new life.
And in 2016, I managed to bring my wife in Australia. Then we started dreaming of having a house but we never planned, because we didn’t know what to do, we didn’t know where to start and we don’t have enough savings to use as down payment for the house, so having a house was just a dream. The day before my practical completion inspection I was hit with a bill for thousands of dollars for site works that had allegedly been done 6 months ago. I was never at any stage notified that additional works were required. Further to this, I have now ended up in the position where I have paid, my handover was cancelled on me and no new date for handover has been advised. They said that they are completing all of the items on the inspection report and then they will let me know. Queries for an estimated completion date have been ignored.

We started dealing with New Sensation Homes early June 2019, slab was down end of the month and we moved in November 15 right before Christmas! We are happy with the quality of the build and satisfied with the way they handled all our queries and concerns in such a professional manner. NSH staff Chris and Emma are amazing.
