I bought a Macbook 12" laptop from PortableOne through eBay. The price was great. I wanted to pick it up locally since they were local and they were happy to generate an invoice for local pickup. Upon realizing that they will have to ship this item to their store in LA to my local store, I asked if they could ship it to my home directly. They agreed and waived off the shipping charges! I think that was a great gesture. Really happy to know that companies still provide such level of customer service!

I also noticed that the mac was brand new and without damage as advertised. Overall, a very pleasant transaction and looking forward to shopping with them again.

Never been a fan of big department stores, so to me P1 is one of those rare one-stop-shops where i can find friendly service, savvy staff, and a great selection of laptops and devices, at reasonable price. After placing the order for my Samsung laptop i had questions about the shipping and was able to get through right away to someone who was able to (patiently) answer all my questions. Thanks guys!

I ordered a MacBook Pro for my niece which she needed for advanced animation studies at University. Protableone had the best selection AND customization I could find. AND, they allowed me to use Paypal, which was important to me in this instance.

The service was really very fast. I ordered late in the day, and it was shipped the next day. I only purchased the lowest, paid-for delivery, and the order showed up as expected in a couple of business days.

The products I ordered were new and in great condition.

I have some problems to finish my purchase, but even far away from USA, I have received a marvelous support of Portableone, and of course the product bought is spectacular.

I recently moved to NorCal and was referred to P1 by a coworker who's been a long time customer. It's a nice store, not huge, and help is prompt but not overbearing. I don't remember the name of the person i briefly talked to about buying my new Macbook, but i was pleased with my experience and will most likely return for my future purchases.

I have bought a number of Mac computers, etc. from Portable One over the last years and have always found them to be reliable and very helpful. They have been flexible and accommodating with requests and changes, going the extra mile to help in a professional and friendly manner! Will continue to use and recommend them!

I moved back to California after several years in the East Coast, and remember these guys from way back when their store was still in Morgan Hill. New owner, new people, new location but the service is still great and reliable.

I have brought in my older Asus laptop after seeing a promotion on their website some time ago about a trade-in program, to see if i could get a new one. My older one was still in pretty good conditions (i take care of my things), and i was able to get a little bit towards my new laptop, which i didn't expect, as i purchased my old one almost six years ago with Windows 7 on it.

The person who helped me was very easy to talk to, and talked me through the whole process. Very happy with the whole experience!

This is my second purchase at P1, i got a 21inch iMac Retina 4K and from order to shipping, these guys really know how to treat their customers! Excellent service and prompt support by phone and email. I'll definitely shop there again!

Locally owned computer stores like P1 are rare to find, and i would know, being old enough to have walked past the historical Byte shop in Mountain View back in the days, at least once or twice.
I have been a customer since P1 had their store in Pleasanton, not long ago, and the atmosphere and staff still the same, very welcoming and pleasant, with some pretty good deals on Macs and PCs as well.

I've been a customer for a few years, up to my third and latest MacBook now. I recently decided to give the 12 inch Retina a try and i was lucky enough to find one in stock at P1 where Scott, the owner, gave me a good overview of this laptop, and recommended a number of accessories. The staff is always very professional and friendly, and never pushy. I'll definitely keep shopping here!

Found Portable One, Inc. couple months ago when everyone was out of the Appl cable... not Portable One, Inc. - in stock and ready to ship. Big help and I no longer go to those other sites. Portable One is a company I can count on.

I have known of P1 for a while, but never shopped here until now. The service is great, and it's a local store, so they go through lengths to make sure the customer is taken care of.
I went in to check if they had any of the new Apple TVs, and they seem to have a great inventory, lots of Macs. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and very happy with the whole process, so that's most likely the first place i'll be looking if i need to upgrade.

I placed my order early this morning online, when i realized the MacBook Air i wanted was in stock, and completed my purchase at the store. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and were able to set up everything very quickly, and get me up and running.
This is the second MacBook Air I've owned so far, after my older 2011 13 inch model. It feels a lot lighter and I'm loving the new keyboard and track pad.
