Ready Made Resources

I have ordered twice now and will use RMR when I need something they carry. Their was a supply problem with one order but they stayed in touch telling what was the problem and upgraded my order without me asking. When you call and the owner is taking calls that is customer service.

I purchased an Inergy Apex solar generator from SurvivalGearSystems (SGS) and since it was taking months to arrive (we pre-ordered it for a then great price) we went on vacation to California from our home in Colorado. Problem was while we were out there I got an email from them saying my Apex would arrive the day after next! Since we have already had a 4kw generator stolen by “Porch Pirates” we were forced to load up and drive right back home to receive the shipment – 24 hr drive! We live in the boonies and no neighbors were available. Now I think that Inergy shipped a bunch of units out and then informed SGS they were shipped and then it took them time to email everyone so it wasn’t really their fault. This time…

So now my wife and I took out $5,000 from our IRA to buy more prepper supplies. We ordered a Royal Berkey Water Filtration system with four filters from SurvivalGear Systems. This time we got a fantastic sale price with free shipping. I specifically asked if they could hold the shipment until we returned home – visiting friends again out of state. I was assured no problem. The next thing I know I get a UPS tracking number and a notice that it will arrive shortly. I immediately email them and said HOLD THE SHIPMENT!! So that was a Friday afternoon and nobody answered the phone but I left a message.

First thing Monday morning I am calling SGS but no answer and leave another message (HELP!) I then call UPS and ask if the package can be held for two weeks. Nope…it will arrive in a couple of days and if we aren’t there they will try the next day and then it goes back to the sender (Berkey). I get an email from SGS and it basically said ‘quit calling UPS because you are mucking things up’. So since I have spent half a day trying to correct THEIR mistake by calling neighbors to see if they could wait for the delivery, seeing if UPS could do anything, trying to call SGS and pulling my sparse old geezer’s hair out I then wrote SGS an email saying I would **** out BUT please cancel my order. NOW!

So now we get to Ready Made Resources. I saw on their website they have a great selection of Berkey products. I call and a live person answered on the second ring! (YES!) I speak to a young man named Joshua who listens to my story and says “Why don’t we just sell you the same system for the same price and also give you free shipping?” My jaw hit the table! He also said that they actually had what I wanted in their warehouse and he would go mark the box with my name and would mark it “HOLD SHIPMENT”. I was floored – great customer service from a friendly person! I paid over the phone with my credit card and were done all in all in about five minutes, (YES!)

So I call RMR after we get back to our home and I talked to a young lady named Amber who took care of everything…got the shipment out and sent me a tracking number. The Berkey system is arriving day after tomorrow and I was so excited that I called in just to make sure all was well and now Jeremiah answers the phone. I give him my name, he clicks some keys on the keyboard and then says “I loaded your shipment myself and it WILL be delivered on time guaranteed.”

So what’s the moral of this lengthy review? First off Ready Made Resources will be getting the rest of our $5,000 in orders from us. Now don’t get me wrong, I like Survival Gear Systems and they are owned by a female military veteran and they have a great outlook on supplying preppers and outdoor enthusiasts so do give them your business too but call Ready Made Resources first. Here is why: They have real human beings that answer the phone; the people are FRIENDLY; they ship from their own warehouse and are not middlemen who send individual orders to the suppliers.; their prices are very good and GREAT when they have things on sale; and lastly they have extremely good communication skills. I think SGS had a big sale going and things got all screwed up because they were so busy and their communications dropped to nil. Calls went to answering machines and weren’t returned BUT the actual owner did email me and apologize and they even offered me a nice discount for any future purchase.

Today my Royal Berkey arrived and is in perfect condition so now my wife and I are happy ultra senior citizens who are scanning the RMR website for our next big purchase. I wonder if RMR sells ATVs? 

On Sunday May 11, 2008 I made a purchase on readymaderesources.com for the amount totaling $260.95 USD for the following item: Product: White Turkey (CASE) Provident Pantry® Freeze Dried White Turkey Quantity: 1 Product Code: WHI0136. Every indication on the website led me to believe the item was in stock and ready to ship the next day. When my purchase failed to be delivered by June 2, 2008 I asked to have my order canceled and for a full refund and I asked the same on 06/03/08, 06/06/08 and 06/16/08 and I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY ORDER OR MY MONEY BACK!

I eventually got my money refunded after considerable effort but I'd be a fool to buy from Ready Made Resources again. I later purchased the same item from the very company Ready Made Resources was drop shipping for and for a better price!

I've used Ready Made Resources several times over the past few years. I've bought food, a PVS-14 night vision device and most recently a bump helmet to better be able to use the PVS-14.

I've had to contact RMR several times - by chat and by phone to get some help with what I am looking to buy. Every single time, I've gotten way more than I was expecting. Several times the owner, Mr. Griswold, has answered the phone or chatted with me personally. He has also called me to go over various pieces of equipment. Other employees have been extremely helpful as well. They have often called to inform me of the status of my orders.

I first heard about RMR on the Survival Podcast and have since heard their advertisements on many other podcasts including the Prepperrcon Podcast. Mr. Griswold often makes guest appearances on the Prepperrecon podcast and his shows are great. It's so nice to hear about Jesus when listening to shows such as this. His love for God definitely shows through in how his company is run and the level of customer service provided.

RMR offers a huge variety of products, their products are reliable and are top notch, and most importantly, the level of customer service is beyond any that I've seen anywhere. I would highly recommend them!

I’ve made two separate purchases from RMR since finding out about them a few years back. My original purchase was for long term storage food. Bob and I talked over the phone about that original order and he was very personable and helpful with my questions. I enjoyed our interaction, and especially enjoyed the rapid receipt of what I ordered. With the order was a roll of pre-1965 dimes; a nice bonus. Unfortunately, Bob had run out of them and had to restock, which took a bit of time. He was “lean forward” in keeping me in the loop about that and ensured I was good with a little wait time for them. I got them a few weeks after the original order. No sweat there.

My second order was for more food, and a few “tactical” items. Again, Bob (and Jeremiah) were “lean forward” and kept me up to speed on the status of all items, answered all my questions, and offered value-add services/product at every turn. The food shipped immediately (and I was pleasantly surprised to find an additional bucket added), but the other items were dependent on manufacture and/or shipping from other sources. At each step, Bob and Jeremiah kept me informed about what was going on and where we were in the process. I found that to be very assuring. Anyway, long story short is I am extremely pleased with RMR’s service, sales, and support!

Six weeks, three phone calls, and two unanswered emails later, they finally sent me my order. Poorly packed, one can significantly dented (bad for long term storage). I will never use this vendor again, especially when there are so many really good companies selling Mountain House, including - Mountain House!

I have been dealing with these guys for several years now and all experiences have been top notch in every way. And get this: I sent an email to Bob Griswald the other day, requesting some information (not relating to company sales items and thinking it would eventually maybe get into an admin's hands for possible follow-up), and guess what? I first dealt with Ready Made Resources for some personal orders and had a good experience. Next, I was able to go through them for Go Bags for everyone in my division at a federal agency in DC and it made a very positive impact on my Division Director and Agency Head. The items I've ordered have turned out to be top notch and believe it or not, you can even call in on a Sunday (I'm tardy like that at times) and get Robert himself. Anyway, I just made some big ticket (for me) orders and couldn't be happier and any issues/questions I've had about the gear have been readily and quickly answered. The prices are most competitive and the customer service is on the Chick-Fil-A level and that's a compliment very few ever get. You won't go wrong ordering from Ready Made Resources and they'll help you even if you don't spend a dime.

Rob was in the shop on 4th of July when I called in needing some advice on a product I was purchasing from someone locally. He helped me even though I hadn't purchased from him. I later went back to purchase a couple items I needed and they were shipped right away and I received them on the west coast in 2-days. Absolute pleasure to talk to and do business with.

I was interested in night vision equipment. Knowing nothing about this product, I called their number and Jeremiah answered. He took 25 minutes to answer all my questions and guide me toward the best products for my needs. I ordered on a Tuesday and had all of my equipment by Friday of the same week. It was exactly what he told me that it would be. Outstanding customer service! I will continue to be a loyal customer for all of my prepping needs! This world needs more companies with the integrity that characterizes Ready Made Resources!

I have recieved 2 orders from RMR and Have got them in like 10 days no damage no problems, have 3rd order confirmed and on the way. They treat me O.K.
