This was my fourth holiday with Real World and once again they were brilliant. They helped me plan a wonderful bespoke holiday with extremely helpful advice on where to go, where to stay and what to see.

We booked a 3 week holiday in Chile, including Easter Island, and Argentina through RealWorld Holidays. We had a great time and all the important things worked out really well.
The RealWorld web site is very informative and there are various standard tours plus optional trips for each destination which helps you build a personal trip. RealWorld will also then further tailor this to your requirements, e.g. add on extra days for personal exploration. They also arranged, all the flights and car hire for us. They offer small boutique hotels in interesting areas of town. There is also a useful information pack with a summary of your final itinerary.

We used RealWorld to plan our recent trip to South America when it became apparent to us that planning a three and a half week holiday visiting all the various places in this vast continent became too daunting. Our initial mistake was to book the flights ahead of speaking to RW but in the circumstances I think they did a wonderful job fitting in an itinerary that started in Lima and ended in Rio. So my first advice would be to speak to them first before booking flights. However once the process began they we totally supportive and tailor made several versions of itineraries before finally settling on one which all six of us agreed upon. Dan was also always available for advice on anything from how best to carry foreign currency to how much spending on meals to budget for and restaurant recommendations.

During the trip we were met by highly professional local guides in every location and transportation was always comfortable. Once when the flight was brought forward by an hour but the pickup taxi wasn't informed, the guy who met us at the airport practically stopped the gate from closing before rushing us through skipping the long queue, so a potential crisis was averted.

So in conclusion I would thoroughly recommend RW Holidays but would suggest first doing some research on the places you want to see (but be guided by their suggestions), the length of your trip, your level of accommodation, an idea of your budget and above all discuss in detail with RW regarding your holiday to get the most out of it.

From our first contact Dan at Real World seemed to have a grip on the style of trip we wanted to do. We had all the help, patience, and advice that was needed to fine tune the trip. We had a plan we were very happy with. Our trust turned out to be well placed, we liked our locations and hotels. While we were away Dan had a our back all the way. Informing us and re arranging our Santiago hotel when possible riots were planned. When boarders started closing because of the current COVID 19 crisis and we became stranded on Easter Island we were in constant contact with Real World who made last minute arrangements until we could depart the Island and then Chile. Couldn’t have asked for more. We were very well looked after both by head office and their local agents in Argentina and Chile.

Rosie and Dan were really helpful right from our initial enquiry regarding the Lakes Loop fly drive to Chile and Argentina, plus Dan was really helpful while we were away emailing us some information. We had a fantastic time. The lakes, fjords, Andes and scenery were amazing. The weather could have been better ... but that was out of their control! We would definitely recommend this holiday, and RealWorld.

Straight from the start, Dan had helped me set up my trip for my sons 18th birthday to Brazil and everything was planned perfectly.
As the trip was getting nearer Dan and Rosie were both there on hand to answer all my questions before we left. Our rep (Hedi) in Brazil was also fantastic and was also on hand if we needed anyhelp. Overall great experiance and i do highly recommend the team and will be using Realworld Holidays next time.

Having used this company the previous year for trip a Peru we already had some idea how they work and knew that the experience they bring to the table makes all the difference when trying to maximize the time we that had to see and do the things we wanted. They allowed us to cherry pick from two of their suggested Itineraries (As well as helping us to organise additional activities not in their books) to ensure the holiday was what we wanted and then delivered on the Itinerary perfectly

Given fairly short notice, RealWorld organised for my wife and I an excellent three week tailor made itinerary, touring Southern Peru and part of Bolivia in May. Tailor made allowed the itinerary to be adapted to our own particular preferences and worked brilliantly. The staff were easily contactable by phone or email and responded quickly to queries. Everything came together without us having to contribute a great deal. We had no issues while travelling that required us to contact Realworld.
All the guides were excellent. All local, very knowledgable, personable and made sure everything went like clockwork.
A great trip, we would definitely use RealWorld again.

The airport transfers were all spot on even when an internal flight had a 7 hr delay!
Hotels overall were excellent,we did have an issue with one but a quick email to Dan and next morning we were moved to another hotel

I had time in planning, talking, ideas, tastes and wishes ALL was taken in to account and I had the most amazing holiday, doing exactly what I wanted to do, with extras from their suggestions, once they got to know me.. No other company I have used has taken such care and time and listened and steered a trip towards my interests.

This was our fourth holiday with Real World and once again we had a very well organised trip from start to finish. Even when we discovered our first flight had been cancelled the day before, one phone call to Real World and Dan very quickly booked us another flight. The hotels were good and we had some brilliant tours and guides.

Booked trip to Peru to walk the Inca Trail to Machhu Picchu, no problems with Hotels, Guide all excellent. However should have possibly booked flights myself, as had to fly to London and stay overnight, when their was a flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam that would have been more convenient also return to Edinburgh. Also my Luggage was delayed by 3 days, compounding the nuisance that my flight from Edinburgh would have suited my needs. However despite all this, Real World as good as their word, holiday of a life time, would certainly recommend booking via real world. Just keep in mind flights.

I took four trips to South America since 2009 and in all cases used Real World. Peru, Ecuador/Galapagos, Brazil and Argentina. Always they accommodated my specific requests. The day trips were well organized, the guides were good and the hotels always decent.

We made arrangements via RealWorld for a holiday in South America before attending a family wedding in Brazil. We would definitely recommend RealWorld - the team was helpful and friendly throughout. We would certainly use them again.

The only thing they could have done better would have been to update some of the detail on the itineraries. If there is something on the itinerary you particularly want, just double check that it will be provided. One of our tours wasn't exactly as described, but it was still very good.

We were met at every arrival point and taken efficiently to all our hotels, flights and excursions. All our guides were helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. Our only 'glitch' was caused by a badly delayed flight, but we e-mailed RealWorld and they reorganised all the affected pick-ups etc. All the hotels were to the standard and quality we expected, or better.

Thank you to Rosie and Dan for organising/planning our 18-day honeymoon to Peru. Rosie was especially amazing from the very beginning - always prompt in replying to every single query that came her way and extremely helpful in advising us for preparing for the trip especially the 4-day Inca Trail. Our itinerary covered Lake Titicaca (Puno), Cusco, Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and Mancora with several tours in Lake Titicaca and Cusco. A big thank you to Turismo Mer's Marita and Patricia who were angels and took amazing care of my husband who came down with altitude sickness on the day of the 10 hour tour bus trip from Puno to Cusco. Everything was well organised - we were picked up on time from the airports/stations, the hotels were all beautiful - especially El Mercado Hotel in Cusco, which was our favourite, the guides were all very friendly and helpful. Rosie was always contactable especially when we had a couple of questions whilst we were in Peru. Aside from the temporary altitude sickness, it was a perfect honeymoon. Our only negative feedback is that it was over too soon! We would definitely be calling upon RealWorld again to plan our next Latin America holiday!!

I dealt with Dan Clarke and he was excellent in every way. He advised me to start with on our trip then organised all our flights and transfers. Being of the older generation I couldn't get the hang of E-tickets to start with but he was very patient with me, explaining everything fully, and I rang on a number of occasions!. We had a fairly serious health scare with my husband between booking and going and Dan was really great and supportive as we weren't sure whether or not we would be able to go. Fortunately we were able to and had a great time.

If I hear of anyone going to Argentina, and quite a few of our friends have been recently, I will point them in Dan's direction.

There were some issues with organisation in Chile and Argentina mainly around pick up times for both tours, and more importantly, pickup for internal flights which caused us some unnecessary concern.
However as soon as we involved our agent back in the UK the situations were resolved very quickly. In fact any issues we had were dealt with professionally and promptly by Dan back in the UK>

After my initial contact, Rosie put together an itinerary for us to tour Chile and Argentina. We negotiated the details/dates with many suggestions from her until we had the best fit for our needs/budget. Before we left, we had been informed of any slight changes to schedule and sent a detailed Itinerary.
Everything worked perfectly, with superb guides, reliable transfers, great hotels and memorable day trips.
When Aerolineas Argentina staged a lightning strike on the day we were to fly to Mendoza, Dan at Real World ensured we had a contact at the airport to help us. He took us back int El Calafete, booked a hotel for 2 extra nights, organised a replacement tour for the next day, rebooked airline tickets and transfers so that we had as little hassle as possible as a result of the strike.
After we returned to the UK, Dan also sorted out the various refunds and kept in touch until they were finalised.
This service was over and above our expectations and we can recommend Real World unreservedly if you want to have a hassle-free trip to Chile or Argentina.
