Comment: I took a chance ordering from Shopjimmy.com because I could only find one review, but the chance really paid off.

I ordered a processor for my Whirlpool Duet from them on Friday 7-24 for $98 and it arrived Wednesday 7-29. The best price I found elsewhere on the net was $149, but the average was $198. Can't beat Shopjimmy's pricing.

I had called before ordering and the representative was knowledgeable, polite and she did not pressure me. She verified the washing machine parts are new.

The CPU was well packed and worked out of the box.

I'm going to order a spare from them as soon as I get some $.

I would recommend shopping at Shopjimmy.

My LCD TV burned through 2 T-Con boards - first was replaced under 1yr mfr warranty; second was 6 months out of warranty.

So I ordered the part from ShopJimmy because their information in the About Us section said that they took parts out of damaged-in-shipping televisions, and I assumed I'd essentially be getting an unused circuit board from a scrapped TV. This was obviously not the case, because here I am, pretty frustrated, writing a review.

The part I received already had scorch marks in the same spot my other 2 T-Con boards had burned through at. Obviously, this is a sign of poor craftsmanship in manufacturing... but ShopJimmy lied about the condition of their products.

So be warned, it's very likely that you're getting parts from used/recycled TVs, and not from simply damaged TVs that were scrapped by retailers, as ShopJimmy claims.

Paid for 3-day shipping on Saturday, expecting it the following Wednesday. It arrived Thursday - after I had already left town earlier that day.

E-mailed their support a week ago about the damaged product, and yet to receive a response.

I'm obviously not impressed.

I took a chance on ordering a second hand power supply. but two weeks later it hadn't turned up. I had been in contact with the company and been given a description that the parcel had been sent somewhere before being sent to a courier??? The shipping reference on my reciept was not recognised by the courier on the reciept. I was then given a different tracking number for a different courier company but still no parcel. Not until I asked for a refund did they say the parcel had been found but then given two more opportunities to ship it they still didn't. As paid through Paypal i have requested the refund through Paypal. Shopjimmy although asking them to reply they still haven't replied to Paypal with information about this case. Hopefully Paypal will now refund my money without their authorisation. Totally unprofessional company to deal with.

Shipping was insanely fast, total of 1 day with ground shipping... Granted, their headquarters is 10 minutes from my house. Product came, looked new, I installed it, and it worked great. Fixed my tv! I am satisfied.

We have worked extensivly with Shopjimmy for years now and have never been anything but satified. The staff is knowledgable and responsive and the products are as described. We are a professional repair center and the fact is that if it wasn't for Shopjimmy, allot of customers products would not get repaired. We are in business over 40 years and have never had a better relationship with any other business. Best selection of parts, great dependability, very reliable....I know I will have the part in my shop next day, no questions asked. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff......If your a real TV tech or want to be a fix it yourself guy, you know that there are so many versions of the same model and Jimmy's database always seems to have the answer for us!!!!

this was my first experience and it was awesome ,was not sure if the part was the correct one for my tv but customer service rep. helped me and answered all my questions gave me her advice and noted my account for full refund and no restocking fee if part did not work for me . it was great experience ,great customer service and shopjimmy.com would be my number one supplier from now on

I was ordered one board and after 4 min i call them to cancel my order and they told me that i can't cancel my order.

I bought a DLP chip from ShopJimmy (the chip responsible for the white spots you get after a few years on a rear projection TV).
Their price was half the nearest competitors. Service was swift and by the next weekend I was watching a none white spot TV again.

Our Samsung HLT5676sx/xaa HDTV picture started going dim then eventually went dark. The owner's manual mentioned how to replace the DLP lamp so I ordered the replacement part from ShopJimmy.com. The part arrived well packaged with the repair taking just a few minutes as I ordered the lamp complete with housing. The picture was restored and after recalibrating the set, the picture quality was excellent. I also reset the lamp hours in the service menu and will certainly use ShopJimmy again for my part needs as not only is their parts quality great they also back their parts with a very good warranty.

I was looking for a particular Westinghouse LED TV ac adapter that was near to impossible to find! I even had a couple of bum steers and had to return ac adapters from websites falsely advertising them as this particular model. When I finally called the manufacturer of the TV they didn't have the adapter in stock at the time and they even recommended ShopJimmy.com. That was a lucky break for me because later I called the manufacturer back and this time they had the part in stock; However, when they told me the price, I researched ShopJimmy.com again and found the same adapter for half the cost!! I like the comprehensive website that will continue searching for you if you can't find what you're looking for the first time. I also like the customer care and followup with email that is provided. I got the part in two days and in excellent condition and it was just what I needed! Will definitely shop Jimmy again!

My Philips 47" LCD TV would not power on and was only 2 years old. After researching, I figured it was the Power Supply. I found that ShopJimmy had the part in stock (new, not used) for less than anyone else. They also offered free next day shipping based on where I live. Received the part the next day and installed it that evening. My TV is now working perfectly again, and was ready before the Thanksgiving games. I also don't understand the person that commented you needed to be some inner circle to talk with technical support. I called and was able to speak to their technical support person in less than 10 minutes. Anyway, I had a great experience, and would recommend ShopJimmy for TV parts to anyone.

I tried to buy a Polaroid 42" LCD TV power supply (IPOS42V5) with my PayPal in Nov 2012, they had 70 in stock at that time, and refused to accept my payment, now Dec 2012 I tried to buy the one left in stock with a CC to ShopJimmy.com and accepted payment, I waited a 10 days for my shipment and no package, call ShopJimmy about my order, only to find out ShopJimmy didn't send the power supply I order nor had the courtesy to notify me, but sold it to someone else.
I my opinion ShopJimmy.com has poor sale department and customer service.

I had a bulb go bad on me just over 3 months of having it, I thought I had a 6 month warranty when I called turns out it was a 1 year warranty even better! Unfortunately they were out of the bulbs when I called. The lady looked up my original order number and said she could refund my money or I could wait they would be in soon. She said would ship me one as soon as they arrived! I took her word and choose to wait and guess what a few days later UPS was here with a brand new bulb! I am one satisfied customer! It is very hard to find that kind of customer service these days a company that really cares about their clients not just to make that original dollar but to continue to provide excellent service throughout the warranty or exchange process! ShopJimmy really does stand behind their mission statement! I will continue to spend my hard earned American money at ShopJimmy whenever I am in need of a TV or TV parts!

I had a problem with one order being canceled without explanation.But the email exchange was excellent and specialy the chatting.My problem was solved very fast and i appreciate it.The little + i could recommend to the Cy. is to communicate the reason of their action, in my case a cancellation.
But overall, the service provided is excellent, communication is the keyword

Two years ago, it cost me $281 to hire someone to replace the lamp in my (ancient) Samsung dlp tv. Two days ago, I paid a total of $89 (includes 2-day shipping) to do the same thing, by myself. Shop Jimmy.com was easy to navigate, offered me different price points for my replacement bulb, processed my order efficiently, and got it to me in 2 days. They also include videos online and printed instructions in my shipment as to how to replace the bulb. I'm 53, female, and it doesn't get any easier than this!

I purchased a main board from shop jimmy.turned out it was a bad one .called them,they explained their return procedure.they e-mailed me a shipping label for the return of the defective board.i received a replacement board three days later works fine.no hassel,they were very polite and professional..one of the best companies I have ever dealt with...will certainly do business with this firm again should the need arise.based on my experience,I recommend this company..

Watched their video on youtube describing the exact issue I was having....ordered the repair service they offered...got it turned around in one day! Replied to my questions the same day. installed it a few days ago and it's like new! They were extremely fast and professional. I tried a different online seller of parts pulled from broken tvs...that failed after 2 weeks. ..if in doubt. ..use this business. I read all their reviews and most negative ones are people who don't understand the service offered. Company is awesome and I will use them again. Thanks Shopjimmy!
