Student Universe worked hard on my behalf to get a full refund from British Airways who wanted to charge a $300 cancellation fee. They also waived their student Universe cancellation fee. The only reason I gave them a 4 star and not 5 was because it took a long time. It probably wasn't even their fault they had to wait for the airlines approval. Every time i reached out they always got back to me. In the end they have a happy customer. I will still have to wait two more weeks for British Airways to issue the refund to me. Thank you student Universe!!

Told me they are applying Emirates policy for cancelling my flights ($150) but after speaking to Emirates via online chat they were not charging their customers...seem to pick and choose which policy suits them? Moreover the window seat option does not guarantee you a window seat...a waste of money. Seemed like I was saving money in the short term but beware of this company!

I booked a roundtrip flight on here for my study abroad trip to Dublin. This was my first time using this website. It saved me over $600 compared to other booking sites. Everything went smoothly, I had no issues. The airline rescheduled my flight twice and Student Universe was quick to inform me and offer changes if necessary. I was so impressed with my experience I had my brother book his trip to visit me on Student Universe.

i booked a flight with student universe 2 days ago. i just received an email about the cancellation of my flight because the card info did not match, even though i use the same info on all other site checkouts. they said they will refund me in 10 days time, but after reading the reviews, im afraid i wont receive the refunds. do i rebook a ticket with them or will this just be a waste of more money? i am confused about the situation. did anyone have similar experience?

Very poor customer service. Your money becomes piece of conformation ticket (value $0 ) as soon as you book a ticket I flew buying another ticket and I am out of pocket $900 Plus Disturbed mind - full off stress.

Their response during the Covid19 outbreak has been shocking. They cut you off while trying to receive support and don't bother contacting them 48 hours before your flight. By that point its too late, you might get through in a week. Their online options are misleadingly labelled when trying to rebook automatically and if you are unlucky you can inadvertently cancel your flight with no confirmation and worthless 'StudentUniverse credit' that you have to call to use or even see. Don't use this company, don't trust them, they will screw you over.

We are backpackers in Australia who have booked a flight home with this company amid the corona virus crisis having lost our jobs and having no money. Our flight was cancelled BEFORE they allowed us to book, and they now refuse to give us a full refund. We thought the nature of the sight was that they were catering to students and people with less money. We now have no money, including the over 1000 dollars we just lost to these flights. In absolute shock.

This company is extremely unprofessional and unable to provide basic customer service. I have been dealing with Charlotte in the Brisbane office and my experience has been frustrating. She has not provided me with the things I have requested including a copy of the company complaints process so that I can escalate my matter to be resolved. Student Universe is a terrible, unhelpful and unprofessional company that is to be avoided.

Flight cancelled within an hour of booking due to covid. Rung up straight away was told refund had been applied. 7 weeks later (and numerous emails) still no refund. I have checked with my bank to see if the refund is pending and nothing. I have been continually told it is my banks fault, despite my bank checking and me also receiving refinds from other companies in the meantime. Hideous, do not book with them unless you want to gift them $300!

I had booked a Basic Economy flight on American Airlines a few days before the Coronavirus pandemic struck the US. A couple of days before flying, things got very chaotic and flight policies were changing by the day. I tried to contact American Airlines directly but they were completely unreachable. I then tried to contact StudentUniverse and although I wasn't able to reach them by phone, I left a message on Facebook Messenger that I wanted to cancel the flight. Eventually, 5 days *after* the day of my flight (by which point I had almost given up hopes of receiving even a partial refund), Studentuniverse contacted me on Facebook to let me know that I have a travel credit for the entire amount available with them (that I can book any time before Dec 31 2020). I am really impressed with the dedication of the Studentuniverse team since they have been able to resolve customers' problems even during these difficult times!

Used StudentUniverse to book a flight and it was the cheapest rate and we still had great seats and zero problems with our booking. Totally a legit website. I would highly recommend. I also had a question about a charge and i emailed customer service and they responded the next day!

I do understand there are many issues due to coronavirus situation, but it is NOT acceptable to get misleading information. our flight was canceled and we ask for a refund. it was told to us on the phone "you will have the refund in 8-10 days". now it has been already 11 days and they communicated be that it can take up to 30 days!!! RIDICULOUS. The airline company is giving back full price refund, studentuniverse is not giving back full refund and the way us to 30 days (if they will give back). it started to sound like a scam. give me back my money!!!

In December 2019 I had a last minute flight cancellation from a flight I booked from another website. I had looked up student universe and registered with them a few months earlier. In my desperate situation, I decided to check if they had competitive quotes for my travel outbound to the US from Ghana. The whole process was quick, smooth and easy. Interestingly, I got a much cheaper flight for the same day my flight was scheduled to travel through StudentUniverse. I will use them again given the opportunity.

Really great at helping find the cheapest plane tickets! There has only been one time where I have been able to find more inexpensive tickets on another site. They checkout problem is straight-forward and easy to use!

I was very delighted to have my flight tickets booked using StudentUniverse. Their checking in service was very easy to use. All notifications about the flights were sent to me on time and with helping suggestions. will use StudentUniverse for my future trips as well.

After we booked with the company I realised I had forgot to book passenger as site ace for my disabled son. I had trouble trying to do this myself via the actual airline. I emailed SU and within an hour they had it all sorted out for me. I personally felt them great to communicate with.

I am trying to call you guys since last afternoon, after every 4 hour of waiting on call, it just get cut. I dont expect this from you guys, and I am still trying to contact you guys about my flight which is in next 40 hours. Is there any other way to contact you guys where you can just pick up call in atleast 5 hours of waiting line.

I waited on hold for exactly 8 hours and 26 min before Student Universe disconnected the call. My flight is booked for 3/15 and need to cancel due to Corona virus but have no way to get a hold of anyone at Student Universe! This company needs to have a way to cancel online or PICK UP THE PHONE! Unbelievably horrible customer service even in light of chaos of COVID-19. I sent a FB messenger and still no reply.

We were to go on a cruise and needed one way travel, After booking with Student universe we were booked for one week. Cruise line cancelled cruise call to get our refund and only want to refund 1/2 of what we paid, this is crazy, we did buy the insurance but still then they will not pay for all the extras they made us purchase. stay away from this sham of a site. they will not stand behind you our your issues. very bad company, i am not done with social media campaign.

Please do not purchased any flight ticket through this company, the customer service is literally the worst I have ever experience. Couple agents gave me a series of stories in terms of delaying the process of refund, empty promise on the call back/follow up. Ridiculous sad, I won't recommend anyone to fly from them!
