As it was my first time booking through the Mail on Sunday I phoned the actual park to ask if they take dogs and when they said yes I assumed I could as it did not state anywhere I could not take a dog. When I phoned to pay the service charge and extra charge to have the dog accommodation i was told I could not take my dog by the holiday park as the booking was done through the newspaper offer. I was told to phone BreakFree Holidays to see if they could change this for me.

I was then told by BreakFree Holidays I could not take my dog although I had already paid the £83 and they could not change it to another booking to include my dog or change the park, I was then also told I would not be refunded. When I very politely asked the lady on the phone if it could be changed she repeated herself a few time telling me there was nothing she could do and could not help me, she had a very abrupt telephone manner.

I was not impressed,by their phone service (I couldn’t do the booking online ,as there was no facility to book 2 vans on the same booking) I was on hold for just over an hour ,and still didn’t get through .gave up in the end ,thought the caravans had all gone ,but tried the next day online and eventually made two separate bookings (which I’ve now got to ring the park direct (when I get an email during the next 14 days ) to see if we can get them placed near each other ,as they had to be booked separately, so the park has no idea we even know each other ,let alone the same family ????

I had a booking query whilst I was in the middle of booking our holiday (on Saturday), so I called the helpline number and was on hold for half an hour. So I gave up! I booked anyway, with the intention of ringing again on Monday morning.
When I rang back on Monday, there was nothing they said they could do, as I'd already booked the caravan and it was non-amendable. So a complete waste of time!

This booking gave me a problem when booking for a 3 and 4 day break. There was difficulty getting the dates to match, which I expected as it was a late booking. The problem arose on one ith being given a 'dog friendly' caravan and I could not change that option, so I had to leave and start all over again.

Would have been 5 stars but had to ring three separate times to get through to pay. The lady who finally answered our call was excellent.

Rang your number to try to book over the phone only to be told online bookings only this was after being on hold for over 10 minutes on my mobile at premium rate site should make it clearer about on line only and you need more operators to reduce time on hold

Very easy to book and chat to someone if any problems went this year and going back to same caravan park next year very good experience recommend breakfree to everyone.
