I ordered an oven liner. It’s an excellent product and the delivery was super swift

I love this shop, I always visit if I am in a town that has one, the staff are always brilliant, sadly the call centre and online ordering is poor. I brought the deluxe airer at £169, after 4/5 days of no delivery information I called them, was told the tracking number, they didn’t know why I had received it, tracking was poor and didn’t give me any confirmation. Then the next day I received delivery details. My order will be delivered between 10 and 12, I got this at 11am. The package arrived open and without instructions. Later the cover arrived. A few days later I received my points card. The next day I received another card for my address with someone else’s name on it. Just too much of a coincidence so I called them, I got a very snotty Lakeland rep who was rude and unhelpful. I’ll think twice before ordering online. It’s a shame as it’s changed my view of Lakeland.

I bought a thermospatula a couple of years ago but the battery was impossible to replace, so I bought their new thermospoon. This fell apart when its packaging was carefully removed and had to be put together again. It was the flimsiest utensil I have ever come across. The bowl of the spoon is floppy and the thermometer tore it. The panel showing the temperature is sideways, unlike the discontinued spatula, and is only readable when held in the right hand. Total waste of money. Delivery was slower than most firms. The yoghurt maker I purchased at the same time looks to be fine but I have not used it yet.

I usually buy my Lakeland products from the Cheltenham shop but because of the Coronavirus problems I had to order on line for the first time. This was so easy to do and the service was superb, I was kept informed every step of the way until I received my parcel which was packed really well. I bought the deep ice cube tray as I wanted to freeze parsley and mint as I have such a lot at the moment. This ice cube try is absolutely perfect for this. I washed the leaves of the herbs first, chopped them added them to the tray, filling to half way, added boiling water to cover and then froze them. When they had frozen they were so easily removed and then I put into freezer bags. Brilliant! ?

Today I received excellent customer service on the phone from Alan, having experienced problems with on line ordering. He instantly understood my problem and resolved it.

Like Wordery, the communication was very good, the delivery was very fast, with the Christmas present delivery within 72 hours of ordering.

I have been purchasing products from Lakeland, for more years than I care to remember! I have never once been disappointed , either in their goods or customer service. They are a top quality Company and I can recommend them highly

I have been a customer for over ten years and have been happy with the quality of my purchases. However, what pushed me to write this review is their amazing customer service. I have only ever had two causes for complaint and each time was dealt with sympathetically and to my satisfaction. If only all retailers had the same level of customer service.

During a purchase I told the assistant that a carpet sweeper I'd recently bought there had lost a rubber bumper but that I didn't have the receipt. She immediately said bring the item back for an exchange, which suited me perfectly.

I was able to buy my niece an 'e voucher' for her house-warming present, so she can buy good-quality kitchen goods either in person or online

This company is the only one I have experienced where you can buy an item, use it and then return it for a full refund, if you are not happy with it. No questions asked! I recently bought some egg poachers and after using them twice, decided they didn't poach as good as I expected, so returned them to Lakeland, package torn, and visibly used. There was absolutely no issue in getting a full refund. This company needs to advertise its policy more widely as it will attract more buyers.

OK - I'm a product designer so I like to think I know a decent consumer good from a poor one. We have purchased a number of Gtech cleaners for our two homes but unfortunately only purchased one of them from Lakeland but that will change in the future.... Our original Gtech Mk2 cleaner did indeed come from Lakeland - complete with a 3 year guarantee. At 2 years 10 months old the clip holding the handle on broke. We rang Lakeland - They sent us a brand new unit WITH A FRESH 3 YEAR GUARANTEE!!! out to us. We downloaded a prepaid label to return the old one. I thought this kind of customer service went out with the ark and I am damn annoyed we purchased other ones elsewhere. It is now a no-brainer - if we want it and Lakeland sell it then that is where we buy it.

Used n My Apple master successfully Autumn 2018. Took it out of the box this autumn and a small metal piece had fallen off in the box. Rang Lakeland for help to put it back. They couldn’t find anyone. It was last Friday. They would send a new on 24 hr delivery. It didn’t turn up on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Late on Tuesday it was delivered. The table suction doesn’t work at all. I have come away from the laminate kitchen table which worked perfectly last year and I am looking at the new one on a French polished table. Could NOT be smoother than French polished mahogany. Useless. The small suction handle just flops from side to side. Useless don’t buy one.

the Christmas bag with specialist jams etc was well designed and of very good quality a useful size with a zip. It arrived very promptly and the packaging was more than adequate but not excessive

I was recently given some Lakeland vouchers - four £5 vouchers. Two of them had the expiry date 28/09/2020, and two of them 25/11/2019. I called Lakeland customer service today, as I have always found them to be extremely helpful in any circumstance. I explained the situation - the fact the vouchers were out of date, but the customer service representative told me there was nothing they could do. He then kept me on the phone for a while, asking for the voucher numbers and entering them in on the system, then he dashed my hopes by telling me again there was nothing that could be done. I used to enjoy shopping in Lakeland, but my local store has closed, so I haven't had the opportunity to browse the products in the way I used to. I know it is only £10, but it was my money, and Lakeland have now got it. I will do my best to persuade my family not to give me Lakeland vouchers as a gift in the future!
