I then called and spoke with the owner to confirm its in stock, during the conversation he was very professional and knowledgeable about the product. I received my ZT0121 Zero Tolerance Ranger Black Plain knife today, much earlier than I expected. What a beautiful and very well built knife. I am looking forward to many years of service out of this one.

For the last year I've made collecting higher end knives a hobby of mine, which can easily become quite addictive and pricey if you're interested in only quality items which are obviously worthy of collecting rather than cheaper type models - some are even clones of these high quality knives such as Benchmade, Chris Reeves, and what has now become my all time fave - Microtech Auto OTF models specifically! For those who know this type of community I'm sure you agree on this brand for sure!

For those involved in the purchase of such items, one must not only "Price Shop" but also find a truly reputable company to deal with for the source too! In my opinion, I'd much rather sacrifice the smaller difference in cost for a company that makes can impress me from the first phone call or email - and THAT is something I experienced from The Hollow Grind from day one! My initial email to them was simply sent to determine if they perhaps offered a Military Discount of any type , which literally within the hour I was replied to from their main representative Dave. I believe that a hasty response from any potential sales source that quick displays a fantastic sense of character and over the course of the last few months Dave has truly kept up his fantastic response times and communication with me on everything I asked him about when it came to certain models and so forth. Top notch customer service which as I said means more to me than saving a few bucks, which in this hobby doesn't differ all that much between knife companies!

Just yesterday I made another purchase from Hollow Grind and am anxious to see how long shipping times take using UPS when electing the free method of ground delivery. I'm sure it will be just as great as the rest of their customer service action as well. There is no doubt in my military mind that The Hollow Grind will be my choice provider when it comes to these type of companies as long as they're able to keep most of the popular models in stock which are often hard to find in this line of work for them!

Just recieved my microtech ultratech knife from David over at hollow grind and would like to say that I am extremely pleased with the customer service I received as I spoke to him on the phone and via email. My package came super fast and the knife is absolutely perfect in every aspect. Needless to say I will be contacting Hollow grind for my next high end knife purchase. I contacted the owner of the Hollow Grind and inquired as to whether he would accept a trade of one Microtech OTF toward another, he agreed too, so I sent it off to them!

It became lost in the mail, frankly not knowing them(Hollow Grind)other then some casual interactions on some forums, I didn't know what to make of it, honestly I expected the worst, that my Microtech was now gone for good!

I again contacted the Hollow Grind, needless to say it is always an uncomfortable thing when something like this occurs, nobody knows whats what, trust is stressed to the limit!

As it turned out, my OTF was delivered to the wrong address, and the owner of the Hollow Grind went looking for it for me, knowing only that I wanted my property returned, believing that the transaction was canceled entirely, he went and retreived my knife!

He did this all knowing that I was believing the worst of the situation, and probablly of him! Yeah, it's safe to say that I was quite impressed, and you bet I bought the knife I had contacted him about in the first place, which BTW I was also impressed by the trade value he showed me for it!

I don't buy Microtech knives very often, I only own a few of their autos, nonetheless, when I am going to purchase another one I'm buying it from the Hollow Grind!

I recently purchased a red Microtech UTX-85 from Hollow Grind, and i am very satisfied with quality, speed of delivery, and very fast replies to email. Dave helped me out when the website didn't take my payment for a 3 day shipping method, so i emailed Dave and he got back to me shortly after and told me that he could add the 23 dollars to the charge for 3 day method. I told him that would be great; When he shipped it out he emailed me and told me he upgraded me to 2 day air at no extra charge. It was very simple and easy to buy from Hollow Grind and i recommend them highly. PS I told my friend who has been looking into buying a Microtech about my experience with Hollow Grind and i'm sure he will be ordering soon!
