Last Friday my horse ripped her fly rug and I didn't have a spare: the horror! I struggled to find one for delivery next day delivery until I logged onto Derby House. We are four ladies who spent a few nights getting away from the realities of life with drinks and a hot tub. Hosts absolutely adorable. They welcomed us with chats, we said hello to their two spaniels and the free range hens that were strolling around. We were helped to our Yurt and shown how everything works, including the very awesome wood burning hot tub. Then we were left to our own devices. The cows and the views were also beautiful. Tranquility at its best. We will definitely be returning. ;-)

Overall the holiday went well, Goodwick overnight stay proved a disappointment, as breakfast was not scheduled until 9am, very late for most walkers, particularly as the day's walk was 16 miles.. We explained our position and were told that we could have a un cooked breakfast at 8 am, we left at 8.15 am, no staff had appeared anywhere in the hotel. At our own added expense we went to Tesco and purchased a picnic breakfast

I really like that I can find exactly the lure pattern and size that I like. Sometimes trying to find them in a retail store is difficult and unsuccessful but I can always find them on the PantherMartin site. Shipping is quick and I always buy enough to qualify for free shipping so it's win all around but let's face it, the real reason I buy these lures is because fish eat 'em and I like to catch fish!

I paid R100+ (I think R160) for shipping and it went through the post office, there is much cheaper shipping available, and most of it comes to your door. I find it kind of unacceptable that I was even charged for shipping if it was using SAPO. Knife was beautiful though.

Made an order with these guys (2 knives). They didn't have one of the advertised knives, so I cancelled the order. It was too expensive for one knife and postage - postage was cheaper with the 2 knives. They directed me to terms and conditions and told me I would lose 30% of what I paid for the knife that they did have. This was for restocking fee. According to their terms and conditions, restocking fee is for returned items, but nothing had been sent yet. Researched "restocking fee" online, and it is always for returned items. Got back to them with this information and they're still charging me the 30%. I would also say, initially I just contacted them to confirm if they had received payment and what was happening with the order. They abruptly told me to read their terms and conditions - the same ones that they ignored. All correspondence with them was pretty poor (curt and rude) and left a bad feeling, something I try to avoid.

I must admit, I am new to fly fishing. It has been on my bucket list for many years but the cost of outfitting myself with all of the gear necessary just to start was daunting. Along came Piscifun! In reviewing fly fishing gear (as I did periodically) I stumbled across Piscifun's line of fly fishing equipment. I read all of the reviews and the Platte real was rated very highly and on sale to boot! I purchased the Platte reel and the two-piece rod that was no extra charge. After reading extensively on how to complete my outfit, I was finally ready to wet my line. The Platte performed like a much more expensive reel and I am very happy with my purchase. I lice quite near a pond which has an abundance of largemouth bass, bluegill, and carp. Three days after I began learn to fly fish, I hooked into about a ten pound carp. The reel and rod performed admirably but with no net to land him with he finally broke off my tippet and swam away. It was still great fun!

Tomscatch picked up the phone and said the owner of the boat did confirm the trip. Not sure who is telling the truth but I ended up waisting a vacation day for no good reason. Tomscatch did promptly return my deposit.

They are a bit pricey, but everything I got there is 5 star quality. I have been a member for the past year and bought many different items from them. I don't have a car and take the bus everywhere, so I invested some money in warm clothing. They have a great selection of Canada Goose jackets (nice shaped ones, purple, not the ugly oversized red). I also found waterproof boots there and merino wool tops. Some of it is actually made in Canada, and not in China! They ship within 48 hours and the package arrives in two days, usually. If you are a member, the return is easy and free. They have Canadian sizes, meaning you should go one or two sizes down (if you are M, get an S or XS, a small person should get XS or XXS, and so on).

If I could give 0 star, I would !!! Terrible customer service. I ordered from Altitude Sport last week and expected my shipment to be delivered to me last week as well. But the shipment keeps getting delayed and delayed. Until now the expected delivery date is Friday. I am leaving Toronto for good on Saturday and given the stituation, I am afraid that my package wouldnt be delivered to me on time. I contacted Altitude Sport and they did absolutely nothing to help me. I demanded to cancel my order but they refused while stating that it is not their policy to do that. I am very upset with the way they handle the situation. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. AVOID ALTITUDE SPORTS AT ALL COSTS !!!!!

I have shopped C.H. Kadels for years - mostly oddball but useful stuff I was happy with until my last two orders regarding item description v.s. what I actually received. My first inkling was a "Kabar" spork - looked full sized in the ad but what came looked like it would fit right in at an infant's tea setting. Waterproof lighters were waterproof but leaked fluid that in turn burned the skin under my pocket - all imported cheap junk. Ordered the Dietz lantern "cooker". "Lantern will also cook!" "will burn 23 hrs. on 17 oz.#camp fuel#. Now to me camp fuel means either Coleman fuel or white gas. Pulled lantern from box - no instructions whatsoever regarding fuel type but something tells me nothing this flimsy and light could use "surestart" without blowing up. I pull up the lantern on two different sites and sure enough, use K1 kerosene or standard lamp oil - other sites also advertise heating up food or water - not "cooking". Pity the po foo who is unfamiliar with lanterns and fuel types who does put camp fuel in it - do I hear a lawsuit in the making? Will not be ordering anything with moving parts or possibilities of being burned alive by following the ads from these clowns anymore. I have wanted a Trijicon ACOG for several years, but the price tag was always a concern. After biting the bullet I finally contacted Trijicon and told them what I wanted. They were very helpful and suggested the following: TA50-C-400235 3x24 Compact ACOG Scope (8 weeks to ship) RM54 Mount for 3x24 and 3x30 Compact ACOG (2 weeks to ship) TA51 Thumbscrew Mount for 3.5x35 ACOG (2 weeks to ship) RM04 Dual-Illuminated Sight (4 weeks to ship). The total cost was $2,012.00 Expensive, but from everything I've heard, well worth the cost. I would like to say it is the best scope I have ever owned, but since I haven't received it (16 weeks after order date), I can't give it much of a recommendation. When purchased, I was told the items would ship in 8 weeks, but when the eight weeks passed with no shipping notification, I called Trijicon and was told the 8 weeks didn't actually mean they would ship it in 8 weeks, but that it would enter production in eight weeks. This irritated me a lot, but I really wanted it, so I accepted it and moved on. After 12 weeks, I called again and was told they would not ship until all items were ready for shipment. NOTE: they would not tell me what item was causing the delay or when my order would be shipped. After 16 weeks, I called again and once again told they would not ship until all items were ready for shipment. When I asked what the delay was, they would not tell me and suggested I cancel my order and purchase the items from one of their retailers. I then called several of their distributers and discovered none of them carry this particular scope. Bottom line, they may make a good product, or so I'm told, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
