I now own nearly every knife Kamikoto has to offer either through gifts or purchases. My wife and I are both very good cooks and the knives make time in the kitchen even more enjoyable. I probably don't need to purchase another kitchen knife in my lifetime but it Kamikoto introduces a new knife, I will probably purchase it.

I haven’t even used my knives yet, and the reason being that it takes forever to get. I still haven’t got my knives and it’s been months already. Wow I initially gave 3 stars because of the long wait but the speedy reply and informed me that my knives would be arriving soon. I was never disappointed just anxious to get my knives and put them to use. I will be sure to order more sets in the future.

Got a set of knives and i swear it didn't say it was out of stock but they were and now i have to wait 3 months for them so I can't really rate much on the knives but on the warehouse part i think it pretty ridiculous that you run out of your signature knife sets but the customer service is on point

When I bought ny first set Kamikoto was an unknown brand to me but their video adds convinced me to give them a try. After discussing their knives with a number of professional chief friends. I placed my first order for a 3 knife set and i couldn't be happier with their product. Its my first venture into quality knives and what a difference it has made in our home kitchen. Having truly sharp well balanced knives with food ergonomics makes food prep not only faster but truly enjoyable. The steel has held a superior edge for far longer than I had even hoped. In the two years I have owned them I have had to learn hot to maintain their edge using wet stones. It takes some practice time and patience but it pays off since this effort doesn't have to be done too often. They hold their edge provided you don't abuse them and clean and dry them after use.
This past Christmas I purchased a different set as a gift for my wife. She thanked me but said she preferred the set I already had. Kamikoto stood behind their purchase guarantee and without any hesitation or hassle honored my return and request for refund.

My experiences with Kamikoto are great.
The Quality of the knifes, the service, the concept, everything fine. The shipment take time but that's normal, if you consider that the knifes goes nearly around the world to come from Japan to Germany.
After nearly one year of working with Kamikoto in a professional kitchen, every day, I have to say I'm proud about the knifes.
