Old inventory on site. Will get rude if you ask about it as many others have said. I think they leave it on there to attract clicks. Instantly called me a liar, as if he had this conversation many times before. Glad I called before placing first order. Not getting my money

Purchased Browning Outdoorsman Axe, received confirmation email called next day to check shipping and a person answered and checked on it and said will ship Friday. Received following Wednesday.
Overall a smooth and good transaction. They have the best price also.

I have placed many orders with this company and have only had one small problem. Any company can make a mistake so I only judge them on how they react and the measures they take to make it right. In my case it was handled in a professional manner and made right shortly thereafter. Their prices are good the items are always packaged well.

I purchased a SOG Mini Vulcan from Knife Outlet based on the description contained on Knife Outlet's web page which stated that he knife had SOG' SAT,(Sog Assisted Tech)an assisted opening feature. I own other SOG knives and am very familar with the feature. The Mini Vulcan DOES NOT CONTAINE this feature. At first I assumed the knife was defective and returned it requesting a replacement. The replacement knife came and the same result, no assisted feature. I went to the SOG website and the knife was not detailed as having this feature. I contacted "Fred" the owner of Knife Outlet who insisted that the knife did have the SAT opening, even when I attempted to explain to him that I had other knives with the feature and that SOG did not list this model as haveing the feature he was very rude, stating "the one you sent back was fine and if you don't like the knife, send it back". What an ass! Not only does the guy have no customer skills he has no knowledge of the product he is selling. Done dealing with ASSHOLE FRED!

I ordered a $250 knife on June 12th and sent a follow up on June 16th asking for a tracking number. I received no emails back. Not one. I went to my PO box twice a week hoping to receive what I ordered and nothing. I finally called July 13th since it was a month since I ordered and Ruth stated on the phone that they sent an email out to me stating that the product was discontinued and when I asked them to forward me a copy she said "I aint sending anything" That is first off a lie and second completely rude. Not even an apology for what happened. I told them that they still had it listed on their website and she said "then I'll tell them to take it off" What would've happened had I not called??!! The absolute worst online retail experience I have experienced.

I'm bought "G. Sakai 11606 Money Clip Knife" X2 about 129$ and complete payment one day later they cancel my order and not respond for refund my money back. Bad online seller I ever see before. Don't buy from this website. Very poor responsibility.

Ordered a $15 CRKT "Get-A-Way Driver Torx", a small tool set made by CRKT especially for the maintenance of folding knives that they manufacture. I needed a T6 Torx wrench to loosen the torsion bar tension on a $55 CRKT "Folding Hissatsu", whick arrived from Knife Outlet on Mon 08 Nov 2010. Its torsion bar is set so tight that I could just barely get the blade open with two hands. I'm a still-strong, 265-pound man. The Folding Hissatsu is a gift for a nurse who has been particularly helpful with my terminal spondylitis diseases. I doubt that she would be able to get the Folding Hissatsu's blade open in any way. The gift is already overdue -- past the promise date that I implied to her -- so I was willing to order the little Torx tool set to be sent by 2nd Day UPS Air. Big mistake. Knife Outlet grabbed the $32.55 from my VISA bank account on the order date, 08 Nov, sent me an order confirmation Email, and then just dropped any follow-through. UPS should have delivered the package yesterday, Wed 10 Nov 2010. Not having any "tracking" Email from UPS, I called Knife Outlet this morning to find out what had happened. Another big mistake. The asshole who answered, Fred, promptly hammered me with ridiculous assertions and question intended to put me on the defensive, said I had a bad attitude, and hung up on me. I called right back. The first thing out of his mouth -- before I had any chance to identify myself -- was, "Oh, it's you again. Got a better attitude now?" Whatta asshole. After repeating the ridiculous assertions and questions, Fred, who said, "I own the company", said he would give me a refund and hung up on me a second time. I'll do my best to make sure that he never has such an opportunity again. I'll get my money back through VISA's excellent service. I sure as hell won't trust asshole Fred to give up the use of any dollar he's got his hands on. If you ever order from this gyp joint, make sure that you do not order 2nd Day UPS Air. Best, though, if you never put any of your money, or your much more valuable time, at risk with any order to Knife Outlet. Ordered on morning of Aug. 29, del. method was to be 2nd day, didn't get confirmation e-mail until next day. Four days after I placed the order, it finally shipped... UPS ground. UPS sent me the shipping notice, still haven't heard from knife outlet. Tracked order on this day and UPS didn't even recieve the package yet. Now 9 days after placing order UPS lists my address as invalid. Apparently knife outlet entered it wrong and the package delivery had to be rescheduled. Now 10 days after placing an order for 2nd day delivery and I'm still waiting.
