We are so very happy with our completed home, our Building Supervisor, Ali was great, very approachable, always contactable and honest, he constantly updated us on progress we never had to ask, the whole team at Snowden Developments where great, always returned calls or responded to emails, our slab was poured in the second half of December 2016 and we moved in at the end of May 2017.
We have sent a huge thanks to the team at Snowden Developments and we have absolutely no issue in recommending them to family and friends in the future.

I had previously written a review stating that my build with Snowdon was a fantastic process, and it was.

[name removed] and [name removed] were such a lovely team to deal with and it’s such a shame that since the build the service has been incredibly disappointing.

We are now in our 7th month since the build and are still waiting for our maintenance to be completed.

It is causing my wife and I incredible stress and we have had to seek legal advice on pursuing action against snowdon just to get things finished.

We’d like to thank Snowdon Developments, in particular our building supervisor David Box (“Davo”), for constructing our new townhouses. We were initially referred to Snowdon by three work colleagues who had positive experiences with their own projects.

We have received numerous compliments from friends and family regarding the finished product. Small details such as extra support panels in the linen cupboard, tiles around the walls in the garage, floor coverings under the stairs, etc; separate Snowdon from a lot of other builders out there.

Davo made the whole building process enjoyable and as stress-free as possible. We were always kept informed of the progress and any issues that arose. Since hand-over, ongoing maintenance issues have been promptly attended to without a hassle.

We would happily recommend Snowdon Developments to anyone looking for a reputable builder.

He is the one you can trust for your construction. He can make things happen quickly. I am happy with his performance & effort to make our dream house come true.

I have been building my new home with Snowdon Developments for approximately 6 months now. I carried out my “walk through” inspection yesterday and was very impressed. It has been a smooth transition from design, construction and follow up. The Team at Snowdon Developments were extremely professional, friendly and were informative every step of the way. The workmanship so far has been of a great finish and the quality of the build was exactly what I agreed. I have not encountered any problems throughout the process and the construction of my house so far. The communication and support with the Building Supervisor “Michael” has far exceeded my expectations. He kept me in the loop and always addressed my inquiry very promptly. I have no doubt that I will have a flawless ending. Michael is truly a great asset to this company always ensuring that the Customers kept happy. We have now been in our new home for about a 1.5 months and and have very few complaints - a high quality home! The team at Snowdon were very easy to work with during ever step of the process and responded well to all of our needs. They were adaptable and flexible and were very open in their communication.

I also believe the pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the flexibility we were able to get with our construction - they willingly listened to and attended to any concerns that we had. Everything was laid out very clearly for us and any changes were also mentioned very promptly.

There were obviously a few issues, but some problems in construction are inevitable. However, these issues were always dealt with well and in the most appropriate fashion. They always seemed to have our best interests at heart! Thank you to team Snowdon and shout out to Ollie for all his help along the way- he was a legend.

We started building with Snowdon in jan 2016, slab was laid last week of January,2016 and we finally moved in 8th November, 2016. 9 months do build a single stores home. Finally moved in and had a smooth process with 90 day maintenance, special thanks to [name removed] and [name removed]. Previous supervisors were lazy and unprofessional ,average builder can't say they are too bad. What you pay, you get. We are happy with our final home. As long as you know how to deal with bad supervisors, you are fine. If no one gives a damn talk to construction manager he can get things done for you.

As a first home owner, needless to say I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect when building my own house.
But from day one when I went in to talk with Snowdon about what they could offer me, they could see that I was nervous and they did everything they could to assure me that I was making the right decision and I would be very happy and proud of the house I could call my own. And they were not wrong. They listened to what I wanted and were happy to make any changes and inclusions to the plans I had in mind and gave me some brilliant ideas, some that I never would have thought of myself.

The whole team at Snowdon from contract signing to handover were such a pleasure to deal with. They were all very helpful and happy to answer any and all of my questions I had and were very open to my ideas and gave me their honest and professional opinions. They understood that being my first house, I was excited and anxious about the whole process kept me informed the whole way through when I had any questions.

I would like to thank the Snowdon team for giving me a home I am proud to call my own. The quality is second to none, and you can see in every detail that Snowdon take extreme pride in the work they do.

For anyone looking to build, I highly recommend Snowdon to everyone. They definitely did build my dream.

Customer service - there is NO customer service you have to call them daily to get anything done, it is extremely draining and I would not recommend anyone wanting assistance with a build to choose this builder.

Workmanship - poor quality paint work, very slap happy work. We received the house with paint of carpet, poor paint on doors. Project manager promised the work and delivered none. On the day of lock up we received our keys to a very messy house which has to be cleaned multiple times before we could move in.

Overall happy with the end product. Snowdon advertises custom designs, low budged with a high end finish. I feel they have been successful in meeting the budget and custom design however this home is not a high end finish. We are left with cheap shower heads/ tap wear that we are going to replace ourselves.

I recently finished of the build of my investment home in Geelong North by Snowdon. The package was bought off Hamilton Property Group. Princy (Hamilton) was great with attention to details and she guided me through making purchase decision to designing of floor plan, and she also followed through to finish. Peter (Snowdon) is a great project manger with vast of experience.He updated me every stage of the construction, provided me with thoughtful hits on after-build matters. I am very happy with group's (Hamilton and Snowdon) workmanship .

It has been two years of lies, horrendous workmanship, and excuses and our home is still not finished. When we decided on Snowdon, we could not have envisioned a worse experience.

I can't emphasize enough that if you choose to build with Snowdon, Pivot or Hamilton, you are making a huge mistake.

If you do choose to go with any of the builders under [name removed] then be forewarned, you will be investing a tremendous amount of emotional and financial resources into the build. Far greater than you could ever imagine at the onset.

Although all of our friends that built had issues with their builders, none even come close to the nightmare that we have experienced. And it isn't even over yet after two years.

My advise is simple, avoid them like the plague.

I have signed the contract with Snowdon development (also called as Pivot construction group )through Easy wealth (people who organized the house and land package, home loan and conveyancing)

Signed the contract on July 2014 and completion was December 2015. They have built 10 -12 houses in narre warren area and pretty much everyone got issues with construction. they are not limited to water leaks, block toilets ,poor plastering and poor workmanship .

My house just over 2 years old and had a burst waster water pipe and flooded the whole house. I had to call plumbing service to address the issue and according to them they installed the cracked pipe at the beginning and it was developed over the time.

When i contacted the Snowdon /Pivot they have blamed me for damaging the waste water pipe and refused to take the responsibility. Currently i'm in the process of taking legal action against them in order to rectify the damaged it caused.

Recent incident was water leaked through the roof. I have complained and they sent a roof plumber to fix it. Apparently they were not installed excess water drainage pipe correctly and this the main reason for the leak. It damaged the ceiling and the paint , But more than 3 weeks still im waiting to get someone to fix the issue . Tried calling many times to their maintenance department and no one is willing to take responsibility. Every day different excuses

most of the people who get their house built thorough SNOWDON in my area have sold their properties with huge disappointment (search properties sold in Golf links road narre warren you will see it)

Great experience with Snowdon for our first house here in Melbourne. The price is reasonable, the teams are so helpful and responsive. We are very happy with the result of our house!! It’s really neat and outstanding, it’s beyond our expectation! Loveeee it sooo much!! Thank you, Snowdon and teams!!

They took nearly 2 years to complete a single 20sqm house, now we are running around to get the house interior repainting as their painter scratched all the door egdes, and walls, the doors have dead flies stuck all over... But upon many emails, no one bothered to even send a reply... past 2 years we are still waiting for them to do the final touches so we can put some pictures on, but i think this will never end...
The structure wasn't done properly, when i approached, they said it will be covered by the cosmetics, ridiculous coz if the structure is not good then what's the use of the cosmetics, it's like the bones are all here and there and you cover the skin with cosmetics, but here even the cosmetic "the paint" is not done properly
I think its actually all the builders same...

I have recently built 2 mid spec 29 SQ houses with Snowdon. The build process has been excellent from start to finish with no major issues and completed within the time specified. I have been kept informed by the supervisor and the office staff at all times through out the process EXCELLENT WORK. The quality of the workmanship of the finished houses is fantastic VERY HAPPY. I have given Snowdon another house
to build which is now at frame stage with no issues and moving along to time. Thanks to all the staff at Snowdon involved with these builds for there hard work and Professionalism and making the process easy.

I was a little hesitant in writing a review as I have never done one before . I purchased land to build a holiday house and did some research of builders. I have to say I made the right choice. I am really happy with the final result. The signing of my contract to the end of my build went really smoothly. I want to make a special mention if I can to my Supervisor, Ollie, to Michelle and Gianna my customer service ladies. Nothing was too hard, they were always there to answer any questions I had, my Supervisor called me regularly and when I asked for meetings on site he made himself available. This made me feel really special, especially being a first home builder. Being my first time building, I was a little concerned I had a lot of questions and feeling bad always calling and emailing, but Snowdon staff were great. I went to the Head Office without an appointment and met with Miranda the Colour Consultant who also was really helpful, because I picked my colours before starting, she took the time to show me again my colours I picked. We had no issues and the quality of the work shows in my house which I am proud to show off. Again, thank you Snowdon for my house.

I would highly recommend Snowdon to my friends and family.
