Pool Deals

After spending $500 with your company and then sending me defective liner and still haven’t received the cover. Your company is blaming me. I sent pictures, called, was disconnected on, was told this was my fault. Worst service I have ever received. Please people go elsewhere. It amazes me that a company can be in business when treating people this way and stealing there money and not standing behind their products. Worst ever!

I ordered a 16' pool cover with a 12" skirt. I paid for rush processing....that was a joke. Received the cover and put it on my pool only to realize that the cover is to big. I called customer service and talked with a very rude representative that kept telling me I received the correct product. I called back again and chose ordering department and talked to the same person that I just spoke with in customer service. She did not want to resolve my problem and hung up on me. I called a third time to speak with the manager and guess what...I got the same rude person. I left a voice mail for the manager and still haven't received an email from her. She will not return phone calls as her voicemail states she will only respond by email because of large volume of calls. No wonder she has a large volume of calls, this company is so ridiculous and lie to the customer. Wish I would have read the reviews first. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Terrible took 17 days to receive part-- when I called to inquire -- was told be patient and when I asked if they were kidding was told "you will get when you get it" and customer service rep hung up! Called back got " manager" on the phone and when I asked about issue he told me he wS glad I would not buy from thdm again and to go "f$ck myself". Real dirt bag operation-- will never use again and would recommend you look else where as well!

I can appreciate the fact that Pool Deals works with a variety of manufacturers for their products and that a specific manufacturer might not be listed in a user's order details. I don't have warranty paperwork for a pool cover I purchased a couple years back (my fault entirely and I admit that) so I asked them if they might be able to point me in the right direction since the cover has a fifteen year warranty and barely lasted 3 years before disintegrating. Instead of respectfully telling me that they don't keep manufacturer info on file, I got snarky emails that were downright rude. If I treated customers the way that they did, I would be fired.

I ordered a new pool liner, coves, skimmer, floor pad. I paid for the faster shipping! I called the day after spoke with a nice lady that answered all my questions. Got all of my order in 6 days. Everything was as it was described! I would recommend to others. I would've liked to have had a way to track my purchase. I also would love to see some instructions come with the coves and floor liner. But I can't complain about the service.

I just purchased 2 pool products and one did not fit my pool and I tried calling and got hung up on 4 phone calls, so I did a ticket on there website and they said they can not refund my money on my return and that all sales are final!! It does not state that anywhere because I wouldn’t of ordered that product knowing if not right for my pool that I couldn’t get a refund, Do not use this company!!! Scammers

My pool cover that was purchased from them did not last 3 months before falling apart. I will not be doing business with them ever again. I only wish I had read something like this before placing my order.

Ordered two solar blankets for my two pools. Shipping took nearly a month and although I tried contacting this company to find when the blankets would be shipped, I never heard from them. The blankets are very thin and only one blanket came with the attachment straps. Terrible company to work with. My advice; STAY AWAY Also this company goes by the name Pool Zone Not sure why I can’t change the date but it’s supposed to be 4/9/19.

I ordered several products and before placing it, called their number to verify the size and color - I was told I was getting the tan cover winter cover along with tan pool tubes, which I upgraded to the thicker gauge. Product came and the pool tubes were the thinner gauge blue (I know as I currently own the thinner gauge). Called customer service and Jamie said that everyone knows there that the set has the blue basically calling me a liar and was very patronizing.

I ordered a pool liner and gasket kit. When I received the liner the box was all broken open and no packing in between the liner and the box. You can see the liner through the holes in the box. I did not want to risk filling it to find out it has a hole so I called UPS and they came and picked it up with a damaged ticket to send back to the shipper. When I informed Pool Deals (fake name Reggie Anderson) about the situation, he was not happy I sent it back through UPS and said we have to wait before they send out a replacement because we did not make a claim through pool deals. I spoke with UPS and they said they returned it to the shipper and told me the name of the person on the docks who received it. When I relayed this to "Reggie" he claimed they have no person on their docks by that name. I found this to be strange. They are claiming they didn't get the package back but UPS says they did. I then did research on Pool Deals and found horrifying stories reported to the BBB. I thought for sure I was not getting money back or replacement liner since "Reggie" has told other customers to go to hell and f*** off. This Pool Deals is some third party **** making money on ordering products through other companies and having them dropshipped. I should have known right away when I seen his poor grammar and typos in his responses. After reading other stories of people not being sent warranty info or manufacturer info for their products and refusing to provide customers with the maufacturer of the products, I figured I would be screwed anyway for warranty if I did get the replacement liner. Pool deals claims they include that paperwork in the box (Which they DO NOT). There is not even an invoice or anything signifying your purchase. BUT, when I made the claim through UPS, I seen on the return receipt they gave me that there was a name of Ocean Blue Water Products. I was curious so I researched that company. They looked reliable and had no complaints. So I called the warehouse for Ocean Blue Water Products and spoke to the warehouse manager. She confirmed that she did have someone on her docks with the same name UPS told me received the package. She also said she has my liner and that she was shipping me a replacement out and it would be here the next day. I asked her about warranty information for the liner and she gave me a PO number to reference if I ever have a problem with the pool and to call her directly with any problems. I informed them of my experience with Pool Deals and told them they should not do business with them because they make their products look bad by being rude to customers. She said she is relaying the message to the owner. We will see what happens. Hopefully I get my liner tomorrow and the warranty is upheld by Ocean Blue Water Products. Great customer service with Ocean Blue Water Products, God awful service through Pool Deals.

I ordered a pool liner online. It was delivered quickly however it arrived signature required, which they don't tell you. No one was there to sign so it was returned to company. They now want an additional $41 to reship it or else they'll restock it and refund your money minus the $41 shipping, which btw is free shipping initially, and a whopping 25% restocking fee!!! So to get my refund I lose almost $100. I chose to pay for reshipping as I'm sure most people do in this situation, and I'm sure this is what their company is betting on. No where on the web site does it say anything about a restocking fee. The customer service people I tried to deal with were unprofessional, unbelievably rude and curt and would not give their names! Even the general Manager Janet won't talk to you on the phone or return your emails. I was given an ultimatum to pay for resend or lose money for restocking and a deadline. they gave me until noon today to decide! What horrible, insensitive uncaring customer service. Lord why didn't I check on them before I ordered. Please beware folks, they are out to rip you off. There are numerous complaints on this company and it's owner Charlie Goss and their poor service and cavalier attitude. Lets help to put them out of business.

We bought a 12 year winter cover that didn't even last two years, even before we pulled it off after the 2nd year, you could see how worn it was, with little holes, when we pulled it off the pool, the pool was filthy, never have we ever had that kind of a problem. I don't know how they can call it a 12 year cover. The cover was stored in a shed during the off season. Do not buy from this company.

I bought over $1300.00 worth of supplies. Did not receive 2 items I ordered. When I contacted Pool Deals, they will not answer any phone calls, only email. Someone named Rodrigo answered my inquiry stating that what I was missing was delivered on a certain Fedex tracking number. This particular tracking number was received, but was other item, not the missing item. Fedex will document on their label 1 of x, 2 of x, etc, so I know there was not another package on that tracking number. Rodrigo's statement was that, "item was stolen". He would not listen to any logic or proof or make it right. He closed the my inquiry ticket and nothing. This company rated D- on BBB and thought to be closed by BBB. Pay attention, do not use. Rodrigo looks to be back in business, ripping off his customers. Why is honesty so rarely found? I found other vendor. This is a RIP-OFF

We placed an order 6/2/14 (mon) on 6/9/14 (mon) I hadn't received my order or any emails. I contacted pooldeals.com and was told my pooliner was on back order but no one bothered to contact me. I ordered a different liner received it 6/11/14 it was the wrong size after spending about 4 hours on Saturday it didn't fit. I emailed pictures on 6/16 and today 6/18 I still have No liner:(:(:(:(

Ordered a winter cover,with the 5 year warranty,and it is the cheapest material I have ever seen.It also came in the wrong size,and their response,"all pool cover sales are final.no return"
I will stay away from them,and tell all my friends too.

Ordered shipped and to me within 10 days start to finish. Got the gold and blue 15’ blanket for above ground pools and it’s FABULOUS!! Rings were super easy to install - if I can do it anyone can do it!!

I purchased a 24 round pool liner. When my installers went to install it, they realized it was not 24 round like the box said. I then had to run out to the local pool supply to purchase another liner, so that I could avoid paying another fee to have them come out another day to install. When I contacted Pool Deals, they stated the warranty only covers a replacement. I explained that it was not a warranty issue, it was mis-marked and I did not need a replacement since I had already purchased a new one. They stated they would not give me a refund. I will never order from this company again. A business should stand behind what they sell.

I would give zero but couldn't! I ordered a solar cover, never received it after 8 weeks. I inquired with company, it was lost in transit. They couldn't send me new one until halfway into season, so I said I didn't want it. They said it will cost me 10% to cancel order, or I could send it back? I didn't receive it, how can I send it back? I shouldn't be charged on their mistake? They said it will cost me fee to cancel order?? DONT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! STILL HAVENT RECEIVED REFUND!

I am a first time customer of Pool Deals. My experience is that I feel like Im being punished for ordering anything through them. Our pool size is standard and we were able to order online. I received the email confirmation of my order, and that was it. Ive never received anything else from them. After a week, their website was still showing my order 'in the warehouse' so, I called for an update. Apparently, that was my mistake. From the very jump, they answer the phone, Hello?
I only asked for a tracking number. I did not complain, I did not yell, I was not upset (at this point). Everyone, (yes, it took more than one phone call, as I was literally hung up on) was SO rude for NO reason. I wasnt upset, why were they?? They all were annoyed and disgruntled, two of them hung up on me snd again- I am only asking for the shipping email, thats it. And its because THEY'RE website isnt updating. I am in shock and I wish I had never bought from them. Im supposed to be receiving the order today, (still no email and still showing as Q on their website) and I am very anxious for what we will be receiving. Ugh. Dont waste your energy (and dont be yelled at) take your business elsewhere!

Their seven year warranty pool cover turned out to only last one year. I paid for an extra option for them to keep the warranty information for me to make returning it easier should that be needed. When it came time to return the cover they claimed I never paid for that option even though the reciept/email I got from them clearly shows it was paid for. I provided that as proof to them. A normal company would try to make it right. Instead, they accused me of fraud and refused to call me back to talk about it. This company quite literaly is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not order from them. They earned every part of their D rating with the BBB and my one star.
