Plus500 blocked me on twitter after i challenged them, This is the wrong place to invest. It is going to cost you a lot because all your investments will be gone before you know it. It is a well designed platform for attracting naive investors who unknowingly make profits they can't withdraw in the actual sense of it. I fell victim and felt their wrath. Lost $120,000 to them initially and made another $50,000 deposit to recover my lost money based on advice from an assigned account manager from Plus500 but different meetings and delays which was absolutely unnecessary to avoid them just paying my money back. They got exposed when [assetsclaimback.com] stepped in and made recovery possible with the latest Cyber tools, open source intelligence (OSINT),cyber investigation and triangulation, it took a while but justice got served. now i'm using Axeledgemarkets 6 step magic to grow my retirement which is a better bet.

After experiencing great difficulty attempting to sell 3 small parcels of ASX listed through my regular broker through whom the shares were originally purchased, for over a week; in desperation, I then contacted "sellmyshares" via rheir website. The share sale application & ID check information/details were completed online & the shares were sold the next day with Contract Notes issuing & settlement proceeds then being credited to my nominated bank account 3 days hence. Speedy & efficient service was provided & I have no hesitation in recommending this firm to sell snall parcels of ASX listed shares. One does not mind paying a little extra in brokerage when such superior service is given!

I engaged Sell My Shares to transact a parcel of shares in November 2019 and also requested (and paid for) a Capital Gains Statement. The sale was quick, as was the money arriving in my account. I was requested to provide extra information for the CGS, which I did. I have since followed up with six emails to find out if there is anything else I needed to do but have not even had a reply, so I have paid for the CGS without receiving it.

I would need to do this in parts because my history with a City goes back two years now. Very distressed losing $12983 through back office withdrawals that never showed up in my savings account. And they accessed my savings account stole my savings and lost my most recent withdrawal. Fraudulently access the account and tried to debit big $ without any authorization. On top of that I have had positions go into the red on a mild trading day and not close off at margin. I like to keep my account low and build and to see this work but fail due too they’re system not coping and then see price fixing on the ASX was so very concerning. Took photos to prove they are wrong and fixing. One of the biggest concerns was seeing when I was trading and the software converted into RUSSIAN while live trading. Suffice to say I panicked. I contacted them and they said “ oh yes we were trying out our new system” None stop headaches! Worst thing about City Index is the withdrawals. Very concerning and I would be very mindful about opening with this company. At your own Peril! I trade 100k a month during busy markets times. I’ve been doing this for 26 years and I worked for Gain Capital as a broker in the 90s. They are the worst I’ve ever seen. Software has improved but no good if the company cent back its own software with integrity and professionalism.

I was drowning in debt and no-one would help me, i had been constantly knocked back for refinancing by the BIG banks for the past 12months. Julie made it happen and it's such a relief. Long story short, I have cashed out my super funds waited a week for it to get approved, after approval I received a text saying they’ve deposited the amount into my bank and it should take 3-5 days, waited almost 2 weeks and got another text saying it has been rejected by my bank and I need to call them to re discuss my bank details. Now this is the 4th day in a row I have been calling and waiting approximately 2/3 hours on waiting then my calls getting disconnected by it self! Very poor and I would suggest everyone here to go with either Australian Super or QSuper as these guys sucks at their jobs

I have been a member since I started working at 16 years old. I was approved on the 20th by ATO, got a notification from Rest the following Monday and funds transferred to account the day after the message. I was anxious that I may expect a huge delay after reading many reviews because most were negative so I messaged them here but I am one of the few who will positively say they are very responsive despite having so many inquiries sent to them by lots of people. They actually will try to solve the issue as much as possible as they can. Thank you for the prompt responses Rest Super Team. My tip to everyone prior to claiming their Super, make sure you put the correct bank details or have notified Rest and ATO of any personal details that has changed such as name for easy verification, make sure you got the right bank account and if you aren't sure if you got it right after lodging the claim, call the ATO to double check. Gave 5-stars for the quick responses and good customer service. Thank you again.

I have been with LUCRF for 7 years. Recently my wife has had cervical cancer which resulted in us having to shut down out business'. By some miracle we are now expecting another child and having no employment we reached out to withdraw under financial hardship to cover pressing bills and medical expenses. Their communication is terrible. It took a ridiculous time to process. We had to chase them up to find out what was going on multiple times, it sounded like they barely looked at it and every time they asked for more information (after WE chased them up). We have given more than enough evidence and they refuse to help us. Now with our energy being threatened to be cut off, ultrasounds we cannot afford and general living expenses to help out in such a difficult time we have had to open a new super and are about to transfer and get away from this money grabbing fund. Hopefully we can get to someone who can process our claim quick enough to keep our electricity connected and get our baby the scans she needs. We have heard HESTA is fantastic at helping their customers so we will be going there! DO NOT JOIN LUCRF. Terrible customer service and will dig their claws into YOUR money.

I’ve been with LUCRF for 16 years. For most of it I have been relatively satisfied. But, when the stock market started taking a hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic I lost $25k in 2 weeks. Coincidentally at the same time I started having trouble logging into my account. I’m now totally locked out. I’ve tried calling, email & Facebook messenger but have received no help. Every time I call there’s an automated message saying it’s a 2-3hr wait. Emails have not been responded to. I got asked for my best contact details on messenger & have not received anything since. In my opinion they’re trying to prevent me changing my investment options to keep a hold on my money. I’ve just joined another fund & am now waiting for the rollover to take place.

After 50+ very happy years as a teacher in Victorian government schools I have recently begun to think about my retirement. So, after initially calling in February to arrange an 'in person' meeting, this morning's substitute telephone appointment (due to coronavirus) with Sam Shah. Today was my first contact with a VicSuper adviser. As a 72 year old, with minimal experience or understanding of financial planning, investment, interest rates, Centrelink, etc., I have been quite daunted by what I saw as the 'huge task' ahead. From the first minute Sam put me at ease with his extremely kind and respectful manner plus his organised step-by-step approach. I cannot imagine trying to manage this process via a link to a website! Sam was patient, he heard and understood my questions. His answers were informative, and reassuring for me at this anxious time when I am wondering, as a widow, how I will manage in future years without my salary. Most importantly, I felt that I could TRUST Sam .. and VicSuper! Sam explained that he can continue to be my adviser, so I am now looking forward to speaking with Sam in coming days, months and years as I transition to a happy and secure retirement. When we first inquired about withdrawing our super fund, we were told that it would take one week. We submitted our forms and nothing happened after over a week. We rang them and were told that it takes 10 working days after they received our forms for us to receive the money. After more than 10 working days still nothing. So we rang them and they told us that they can't tell us when we will receive the money and to call them back in few days. We told them that this was not acceptable and we wanted them to ring us back within 24 hours. They promised to ring back within 48 hours. I have grave doubts that they will ring back. You need to keep chasing these people. After ringing again and asking to speak to their manager. The manager straight away organized for the money to be paid out. We received the money in a couple of days. We are satisfied that this has eventually been resolved.

I made the switch nearly 2 years ago trying to stand by my morals but not really sure what results I would get. My previous superannuation ticked over with little to no change over the years so I was very pleasantly surprised to see my investment with Australian Ethical super make some significant gains. 7 years I am in awe of how well they communicate what is needed in order to manage our fund compliantly. My questions are always answered promptly and clearly. The paperwork we need to sign is provided with all the information pre populated so we basically review and sign. Also proactive alerting us when we need to take action because of certain activities within the fund. Best customer service I have experienced and this industry is NOT a simple one. Well done

I have also been waiting for withdrawal almost for 2 months now. Support keeps on telling it will be processed as soon as possible, but now those are just meaningless words. Nothing really happens. If your reading this.. my Account ID : 29054 For some time, I was satisfied with the platform, but now all seems like a big ponzi scheme. If there was any money, 2months is enough time for payout. Other platforms do it the next day. They should communicate transparently, maybe that could calm investors.

I have spoken with many companies over the last 12 months including Knight Knox, RW investments and Flambard Williams. I have to say they were all knowledgable companies but I felt more at ease with Flambard Williams. I dealt with Elliot there. They do not build their own developments like most of the other companies so are therefore totally independent and not trying to push a certain development or apartment down your neck. I dealt with them 5 months ago had a great service start to finish and would definitely recommend them again.

Company delayed starting the processing of my order for about 4 - 5 days, then they upgraded the shipping so that it did not actually arrive late. I was supposed to get a "partner discount" of some sort due to them being partnered with Redstone Federal Credit union, but the info on how to use that was inaccurate. A representative told me that he would put his card in my order and then I could call him for accurate info, and that he would e-mail me the info. He did not e-mail, and there was no card in the currency order when it arrived.

So I've used Freetrade for a few months now and I had a mixed feelings at the beginning. I liked the fact that you trade for free. Of course, they charge you on a spread difference but it's not that big. The account setup is quite easy and straightforward. Unfortunately, all positives end up here. On the cons side: -doesn't have web interface and their app is limited in terms of graphs and analysis. It's very, very basic so you will have to use other tools. -you can't set Stop Loss, Take Profit or sell your stocks when there are no buyers. I had a situation when I was trying to sell my stocks for hours and the transaction was declined without giving me any reason. I've asked on the chat for the reason and after several hours they told me that's due to the fact that there are no buyers so advised to try to sell it every couple minutes/hours... This is ridiclious, and I have never seen such a poor User Experience using any other broker's platform. I can't imagine siting whole day, trying to sell stocks, hopping that there will be buyers at a certain point of time. What if the stock is going super low and you want to sell it ASAP. I had a quite stresfull day because of that, even though it wasn't going up or down that much. Biggest con! -If you want to withdraw, you have to wait for the funds to "settle" for 2-3 days or even longer, after you sold your stocks. For some this happens and for some it doesn't. No idea what's the logic behind it. Overall I've withdrawn all the funds from them and moved to also free, but more advanced broker 212. I actually created both accounts at the same time to compare and 212 is much better in every aspect (it's not the best one I guess, but good for start). So I wouldn't waste your time on Freetrade and would pick up something that already works and will save you lot of stress and frustration/

Between 2006 and 2015 I had numerous bad experiences with some of the so called big players in the industry, I never felt important and i never felt that the people sat in front of me were "truly in it for me" Then I was introduced to Barry and all of that changed. He has advised me in 3 countries, 4 if you count that I am back where I started in the UAE, has never missed an appointment and always calls back if he cant immediately pick up. Until now he has a 100% record in making my investments work for me and I see no reason for that to change. Hi I have been a client of Saxo Australia for over 7 years with an active balance in excess of USD$1M. The platform is fine albeit a bit overly complex for my needs, but effective and fast. Fee structure is fair and consistent (and in fact a major reason I trade with them) BUT the major negative comment relates to the Customer Support as this is basically non-existent now. As others have commented I used to have a direct connection to someone who changed a couple of times over the years but was always available with in 24 hours at the worst, mostly within in an hour to handle queries, now there is nothing not even chat just an automated case tool inside the platform that is basically rubbish. The only reason I am posting this complaint here is there is to one to complain too or even send an email to. I have had queries in their case tool for days without a reply. Examples, 1. Posted some info they had requested from me to them on the 4th March and asked them to call me if thye. had a problem so we could resolve quickly, no response (bearing in mind this prevents me from any buy trades so very relevant), pinged them 22nd March they responded on the 24th March( 20 days later !!!) asking for more information, posted again today still in motion. 2. Created a case (22nd March) asking for an instrument (ETF) to be added to the platform 48 hours later still no response ! ... rang them yesterday waited on the phone for 34 mins supposedly 2nd in queue ..no response so I just gave up. Its a real shame as the platform is stable, strong and powerful, fees are reasonable (IMO), the company is backed by Saxo Bank and so is a strong financial position if they just had a proper support function they would be great, as it stands I think I'm going to have to move to another provider ..which is a shame !

My real estate experience started when I purchased a condo in Hoboken, New Jersey, in the early 2000s. I lived there for a while, and then converted it into a rental. Over the years, I was able to weather both the financial crisis and Hurricane Sandy while keeping my rental and generating monthly cash flow. Now that the local housing market is up in Hoboken, I made the decision that it was time to exit the market, as it’s been extremely unfriendly with rent control laws and taxes. Not to mention, tying up half a million in 1 tiny box is a significant chunk of my net worth. The Next Steps Once I decided that I would sell my condo, I had to consider multiple factors: Where to invest? I considered a few local New York/New Jersey spots to invest in, but they were too expensive and came with high taxes and home prices. How do I invest passively? After self-managing for years and dealing with 2AM phone calls, terrible contractors and the rest of it, I wanted to make enough free cash flow to hire a property manager. This way I could truly be an investor, not a landlord. This was so important to me that I even strongly considered REITs as an alternative! What is the most advantageous way for me purchase real estate? When I started to calculate the tax bill, I realized that a 1031 exchange was my best option. 1031 Exchange A 1031 exchange was the best option for me as I had been depreciating the place as a rental for the past few years, which provided a lovely tax shield. The challenge was that if I sell the property, I would have to pay income tax recapture on top of the capital gains tax - OUCH! How HomeUnion Helped Luis from HomeUnion reached out to me around this time, and he informed me that HomeUnion could meet the fairly short timelines required to complete a 1031 exchange transaction. Even better, HomeUnion could help me split proceeds into multiple cash flow-positive homes and secure GSE mortgages to boot. To be honest, it sounded too good to be true. How do I know these are legit? Do I really want to buy homes I've never seen? I ended up visiting two locations, Chicago and Tampa, to meet HomeUnion’s local region managers and check out a few properties, which included the ones I was bidding on. Both local region managers struck me as knowledgeable, experienced and skilled at what they do. These meetings got me comfortable with HomeUnion as a company and as a partner. Fast forward a few weeks, and we've just completed the 1031 exchange transaction! I was able to split my Hoboken condo into 6 single-family houses (technically 5 as we added additional funds to purchase the last home) in 5 states using a 1031 exchange. By diversifying into multiple markets, I feel much safer for the following reasons: I'm not as worried about a big storm wiping me out, as I now have additional cash flow-generating properties. This means I'm well covered, even if I have an issue with one of them. I don't need to stress about keeping the places 100% occupied, as the cash flow is sufficient to allow for some vacancy. Best of all, the cash flow is expected to be enough to cover HomeUnion’s management fees, which reduces my hassle, and I can truly invest passively. HomeUnion’s Pricing Some may view their pricing as a premium product - I would agree it is not the cheapest route. I've always been a ‘do-it-yourself’ kind of person like many TrustPilot members, but after my experience, I would say HomeUnion delivered a lot of value and has been worth every penny spent. I believe they provided me with a service that went above what I could have handled alone (unless I quit my day job which I enjoy and wish to keep). I feel that I am in a much stronger position, and have advanced my real estate portfolio multiple years ahead by making this move. Current Status Three properties are now in rehab with HomeUnion, where they are handling the whole process of repairs/maintenance and working with contractors. I will keep you posted as they progress, but so far they are on track to exceed expectations. The other three properties have been tenanted and the early outset for HomeUnion’s management team looks good. _________________ Disclosure: I volunteered to write this because I saw some good posts here, but nothing on this specific topic and not many detailed accounts of HomeUnion from the community. When I mentioned this to HomeUnion, they offered me a free month of asset management as a thank you, but this has not affected my post and I've tried to be as unbiased as is humanly possible. In addition, we are at a stage where we have just completed the transaction: 3 properties are tenanted and 3 need some minor rehab and need to be filled. The early outset for management and rehabbing looks good but I can't vouch for that yet. I will create an update in a few months with my findings.

I first started looking into HomeUnion in 2016, before I had any real estate experience. I logged in to their site and started browsing properties, at which point I found one that I liked and starred it. The same day, one of their representatives called me to discuss my options. They made it very easy to understand what the process would be like to acquire the asset. Following that, they made it easy to manage the property, giving me a lot of documentation in an easy web dashboard along the way. They've been very accommodating of my requests, and are working with me to get other properties. The returns have been fairly consistent as soon as I got a renter. Overall, this is a really good option to invest in real estate with minimal effort.

The move from Alliance Trust Savings (ATS) to II has been and continues to be catastrophic for my elderly parents over whom I have third party authority. In no particular order my comments are: 1/ II are unable to put the fact that my parents are partially sighted at the top of their computer screens. Likewise, II is unable to put my third party authority at the top of their screen so it takes 10 minutes each time to confirm third party authority. 2/ Asking my parents to log in and set up passwords is pretty dumb when they cannot see. 3/ The set up with ATS allowed dividends to be swept into their bank accounts. II cannot do this. 4/ II will not allow me to speak to a manager. 5/ Result of this (and a whole lot more) is that my parents have been unable to take money from their ISAs since October 2019 and this is still the case. The reality is that II is cheap and comprehensive for able people but pretty hopeless if one's needs are greater. It is a pity II did not think about this before taking over the ATS ISAs.

I've been with this platform for years when it was TDW but most recently as iii. I was reasonably happy with the service until I came to transfer my ISA out to another provider. The process is slow and I am being told it could take up to 5 weeks to transfer the cash value (approx. £180k). I have another ISA with Share Centre (which they now own) and that has been fairly swift. I requested at the same time. Smacks of iii hanging on to the money deliberately. I have sent two emails now asking why this is taking so long but no replies from iii. Also if I want to close my account I only get access to my online documents for 6 weeks. This is appalling. The access to these important documents needed for tax purposes etc should be allowed well in excess of this. This again is also possible on other platforms. I am not likely to be coming back to iii. Not impressed.

I just started two weeks ago and the process thus far has been smooth on iTrust Capital's end. Blake and Carol have made made me very comfortable. On the other end of this process is the company where i have an Annuity and their customer service pales in comparison to iTrust Capital. And when i think about the fees iv'e paid over the last several years to cryptocurrency exchanges and iTrust only charges 1% it just makes me that much more confident in my decision. I'm so glad that there is a company like iTrust Capital that offers IRAs for cryptocurrencies and a special thanks to the Digital Asset Investor for mentioning iTrust Capital and their videos on youtube.

I joined Traders4Traders and did the workshop in August 2013. There are few things I would like to comment. 1-) I found Traders4Traders in the seminar presented by [Name Removed] at City index. The presentation was good and at the end [Name Removed] gave is price, AUD 4975.00 for the expert program and he said that if you start trading with $10.000 dollars using his methodology in 4 months you will get the price you paid for the course back. Really ?? Anyone serious and honest in this market know that it is not true. It takes years to gain experience and be profitable. I know it now because I have been reading a lot of books and joined another serious forex educator. 2 -) I did the workshop day 1 at City Index and Day 2 at another broker that Traders4Traders introduced called Invast. The argument that [Name Removed] gave us was that Trades4Traders was moving office, that is why he was using the brokers office. The funny thing is that I re-attended the workshop again after 4 months and they are still using Invast Broker office . Do they really have a real office/location ? I don’t know. 3-) The course – [Name Removed] has a good understanding of the fundamentals and that is the only good thing for me. However, when trading they trade live economic data releases putting OCO orders, for me it is like gambling I lost money doing it. But [Name Removed] was always using demo account. Most of the things they teach you can get for free online in sites such as Fxstreet and daily Fx. 4-) The other thing I notice is that they make their website look very fancy with a lot of screens using that Reuters Xenith, live new services. I paid for these services but it was a waste of money as well. You can get all you need for free, new releases and chart packages. I always avoid to make negative comments but AUD 4.975 I s a lot of money to be wasted and feel like in obligation to share my experience. Unfortunately I wasted this money.
