Escape Homes & Developments Coomera, have been building 4 town houses for me and they poured the concrete driveway without the gas mains being installed so now 3 of the 4 units cannot have natural gas, months overdue and still not complete, other issues and problems, now they have issued me a 120k + variation invoice with no signed variation agreements. The building contact is terminated and they have put a security guard at the site so I can't even finish the project myself. I am interested in hearing from anyone who had, or has construction defects with work done by Escape Homes & Developments Coomera and their contractors.

Working with Escape Homes and Development has been quite disappointing.Although they tried to build our house ( completed November 2017) on time. They left us with 612,000 litres of water loss. The administrative services were very poor .We are still battling within available resolution and legal framework to solve this matter( water loss). It’s almost impossible to get them to correct anything once they have been paid. Not a good experience, I must frankly say . February 23rd 2019 Update: Post Construction Water Loss resolved Amicably. I am happy to state that following the review of 24th September,2018 on the 612,000 litres of water loss after construction. Escape Homes and Developments have been proactive and this matter has been resolved amicably. Thank you Escape Homes and Developments for your timely action at solving this. Best wishes.

I had three properties built with Metro strata, all completed at the end of 2016 the properties were completed on time and on budget, any issues that were raised during the sub-division or construction period were dealt with in a timely manner and they handled all steps with the council right through the subdivision process, Metro Strata kept me in the loop right the way through the building of the properties, All staff I dealt with from initial contact to the completion and the hand over of the properties conducted themselves in a professional manner, I have no issues with recommending Metro strata for anyone looking to build or subdivide a single or multiple properties and would defiantly use them for another build,

Metrostrata built my 11 house build in Maddington commencing around November 2015 and finishing July 2016. They were able to offer a fixed price on the houses but made it clear that site works were an estimation only. They worked well with my bank and the local council (who were difficult) to come up with solutions to issues as they surfaced (council requirements and difficult neighbours!). I was kept informed when Pricing was in line with industry standards and Metrostrata worked well with my bank to make the financing and payment process smooth. A few small issues post completion which took a little bit of time to sort out (staff member had left) but once I'd contacted another staff member, issues were sorted out pretty quickly with minimal disruption. I'd recommend Metrostrata. Like all builds though, be clear on what's included and what's not; what's fixed and what's an estimate. A builder can give guidance on expected other costs but its only a guide!

Im currently building 2 homes with NUVO and very happy. I live interstate and up in Brisbane only on a monthly basis so it is important to have faith in the team to build what was planned, which I have . I get regular updates from the foreman and site manager via photos and emails and if I have questions or phonecalls thye are answered within hours or emails responded to that day. They are building on time and to cost as per the plans approved and getting good feedback from neighbours in the area about the quality of the build. The planning process can be overwhelming but this was also a good experience as Bill and I had many meetings to get the desired design at the desired price and was he always very accomodating but importantly . The block had some challenges to it , but Bill managed to come up with a plan that was affordable but high in quality . Once the building started it was full steam ahead but due to the challenges with the block it was slightly delay ( the only frustration ) but this is common in construction with tougher blocks.

I built a property with Nuvo homes and everything was going well in early days. The sales agent was lovely to work with and pretty responsive, although some prompting for revised quotes and updates was needed. Once we got to site, it seemed to be running smoothly but then issues started appearing. Things were installed wrong, contrary to specification, significant mistakes were made, the Site supervisor went weeks without providing an update to the progress of the build, and several finish issues were noted. As we got closer to Practical Completion, more and more issues became apparent both in the build and from an admin side. Wrong variations were noted, and had I not reviewed contract spec and noted some PC items which were not used or allocated (builders pole not needed) I would have paid $3400 more, and it was only noted when I mentioned it. They provided 1 days notice until Practical Completion, which was a day after contract date, and then argued what 5 business days meant. They also didn't know the small lot code of Brisbane - as such I (someone with no building experience) had a debate with the OWNER of the company due to what I saw as unneeded privacy screens and low and behold - the certifier from council confirmed this. This saved me over $2000 as I fought for it to be credited. The management team in their office don't know what is happening onsite, and there is no control over their contractors. They wait 3 and a half weeks for a painter to get to site, they have poor time management. The handover happened without having gas run from the meter into the property - and the meter was only noted missing 3 weeks before handover. We spent 2 weeks after Practical completion without gas to the address, but they only gave us 4 days worth of Liquidated damages. The last nail in the coffin was the damage their contractors did to the grassed area out the front of the property on the footpath (council land) - they consistently parked there and placed building supplies on the footpath but when they were queried over rectification, they said there was no proof it was them. This was after their site supervisor acknowledged the issue and said he would sort it out - only issue was this was the site supervisor they fired mid build - so in the end I had 3 during the whole thing. Take your custom designs elsewhere as you will have nothing but heartache and arguments.

We built a home approx 5 years ago, loved the house, loved the look and loved the quality. I am in the process of building my second home although not with Highview Homes (I wish it was). The sales people are great, the office staff are very experienced, did not have a problem with any communication or service provided. We did have a small problem with a leaking roof, but a tiler was there ASAP to have the problem rectified. Overall a Great builder would highly recommend. Excellent Quality and customer service.

I felt I just had to respond to review by Jenny C on Dec22nd 2016. and then provide our own experiences. Firstly, why a review now for a house that was built 20 years ago? Did the faults not become obvious before this? Just asking. Most homes built by anyone only have a 7- 10 year window for structural defects. Our experience from the very start was extremely good. Our home was completed in August 2015 The salesperson Gary was exceptional. He was not pushy at all and gave us time to look quietly on our own at the display home as many times as we wished. He was always available for any questions we had and was always prompt with his communications. We were advised from the beginning that we could alter plans and any costs that may be involved. Due to circumstances that could not be foreseen by Highview, we had different building supervisors throughout the build. However, at all times they were available for us and any concerns we had. The build was completed on time and built to a very high standard. Any minor issues were attended to promptly. Even as recently as this week I had some questions to which they responded to quickly. My only constructive comment would be that, if possible, the tiles consultation/purchase be available locally with other franchisees of the same company. The current provider is always extremely busy. It would be great to spread the load and also decrease travel time for the purchaser. In conclusion, many neighbours and strangers alike have passed by our home (While I was in the garden) and have made positive comments about our home. Thanks Highview for our beautiful home. Our family has lived in our villa word house for 3 years. Last year we found out our shower room is leaking water to the wall. My sister contacted villa word warranty team to look after this. They came to inspection one time and then scheduled a time frame to fix this problem. Around 1 month waiting, the fixing team came to change a new shower room for us. They quickly response to my problem and fix it well. I am very thankful for what they did to keep their words. Their quality is very good compared how much we pay for the house. What they use is good product.

I have lot 839 in Pakenham through villaworld developers. For DA approval my file was emailed to VW developer, they didn't check it over 30 days. I contacted the architect and Frenken builder emailed my file. Villaworld completely ignored my file and my construction is delayed for a month now.

Just looking around my house which was completed by Seacrest 4 years ago. This is the 5 house I have built over the past 35 years. The faults are really starting to show. It took three and a half years from start to finish even though the sales team told us 12 months. Poor quality workmanship- taps plumbed back to front, windows leaning up to 50mm out from top to bottom, smashed oven by gas installer not replaced for 2 months after we moved in. Walls had to be re-plastered twice and still look like they were done by a drunk. Trades never show up, superviser lacked interest and the office treaded us with distain. These are just a few of the hundreds of issues we had. Be warned- don't waste your hard earned money and your good health on this builder. I have spoken to at least 6 others who have built with Seacrest and their stories are the same as mine. Pad compaction, brick laying, plumbing, plastering, painting, gyprocking, carpentry- the list goes on.

Do not build with Broadway/Seacrest unless you wish the build to take a long time and be told heaps of lies. Nothing, was a hard slog from the day we signed the contract Racist, dislike and rip off the English. Poor standard of workmanship, nothing completed 100%. Liars.

A year of our lives was wasted dealing with Sekisui House Australia (Victoria) and their wholesale package provider iWealth Solutions. I would never recommend anyone to these companies nor would I recommend doing business with them voluntarily. We encountered a long list of issues at the hands of these companies, while trying to organise construction of a new home. We tried countless times to address and resolve issues with Sekisui House through the Victorian State Sales Manager [name removed] which ultimately forced us to engage legal action to end the contract with Sekisui House Australia. Sekisui House responded in agreeance to end contract if we paid them a few thousand dollars in fees. We refused their demand and did some digging of our own in relation to the company, which revealed as of November 18th 2014, shortly prior to Sekisui House requesting a monetary exit fee from us to end contract, they were in fact in MAJOR BREACH of the H.I.A. Domestic Building Contract as they had a SUSPENDED BUILDING LICENCE therefore in no way could perform any legal construction. They were suspended at the time they requested us to pay exit fees to them and never once divulged this critically important information to us We immediately served a Notice to End Contract for the major breach and Sekisui House Australia immediately accepted to end contract with no further mention of fees. We found this company to be dishonest, untrustworthy and unreliable! We strongly recommend not doing business with them as it will cost you a lot of time, money and immense personal stress. We were lucky to get out before construction could commence and we count ourselves extremely fortunate as we were recently informed that Sekisui House VIC have gone belly up in Victoria and aren't remaining in the state.

We are just starting our build now they the roof trusses are half up today after we told them about a piece of the frame work being around the wrong way. We now also have plumbing in the 2 bedroom floor as measurements were wrong and slab has to be amended. Been through 4 salesman, 3 colour consultants, and 4 customer service people today we inspected the house and noticed the front windows weren't the ones we wanted as we told numerous times to sales people we wanted all sliding Windows now we have 2 wind out ones at the front the site supervisor said they are wind out on the plan but you put your trust in these people to get it right the numbers for the Windows mean nothing to us as we have no idea but a better explanation and pictures would have been good , thinking of getting them to stop already as we are so disappointed with them. They sux at the building game and so Unreliable very scary for the rest of the build.

Purchased a block of land in Atlantis Beach Estate, Two Rocks WA. Built a home in 2016 and thought that after the Builders did such a great job that, the Land Developers would be just as cooperative, big mistake. Initially they lied to me by saying that the Local Council demanded a certain type of tree in my front yard. The Council confirmed that this is not true but I have no choice, I have to agree with the Developers. Secondly, the Fence Installer contracted to and managed by, the Land Developers, tried to extort $50 and a case of beer from me for a small piece of work that was very minimal. He then splashed mortar from the fencing posts all over the retaining wall in clumps and stains and, refuses to accept responsibility and, clean it up. I have tried on many, many occasions to get the Land Developers to call be back to help me with the Fencing Company but, they refuse to contact me. I have enlisted the aid of some of their Staff but, the Decision Makers, including the principal, refuse to contact me. In addition, all the People who have promised to help me, have not called me back. On a personal note, I did a deal with the Fencing Contractor Management to install a gate and to pay cash, because I disagreed with his Installer. He has texted me to go find somebody else to install it. My problems with Atlantis Beach Estate Developers go unresolved.

We have been planning to do something in our back yard for the past couple of years but did not know exactly what it is we wanted to do and how much will it cost. We heard from friends who went through hell and back in their renovation work both, cost wise and quality wise which made us very fearful that we will have the same experience. We wanted to make sure we go with a company that has a good standing and reputable as quality of work was top in our list. After much research on who to go with, we narrowed it down to Granny Flats (GF). GF sales rep. came by to talk with us to understand what we wanted to do. We were not exactly sure what we wanted in details but GF’s sales rep. was knowledgeable and was able to helps us visualize exactly what we wanted. What I liked about the experience is that the sales rep. was not pushy and made the effort to really help us crystalize our thoughts on what we really want. We felt comfortable with the final plan and went ahead to lock the job. GF took over everything (approvals, insurance etc.) from that point. My next experience with GF was in the preparation stage where their site supervisor took charge of the actual work to be done. I must say that I given the supervisor a though time based on the high demands that I had and my impatient nature. When work started, I was looking through everything that was happening every day fearing that things might slip between the crack and a shabby work might be done. I call GF when I thought something was missed but eventually I realised that all was in good hands. The site supervisor and the admin staff at GF were super patient with me and I really appreciate that. I could raise any concerns that I had and they will look at my concern and work something out for me if it was reasonable. My confidence in the quality of work being offered by GF grew very fast to a point that I could leave all the worrying to the supervisor and he will address it professionally. The contractors for all the major jobs were very professional and knew their work well enough that they took ownership to look out for any potential issues that could crop up with any part of the work that was being done on the site. They are very customer focused and they really scrutinized whatever work that was being done (not only their own work but even by the other contractors work and raise it as a concern to us and the supervisor) to ensure the best quality and reliability was delivered. This is something that I really appreciate and gives me a feel that GF is a world class company when it comes to building work. They are sincere in delivering good quality job to the customer. Another interesting experience that I had with GF was their ability to adapt and make changes on the fly despite any additional cost to ensure that the customer is satisfied. There are a few cases I have noticed which really got my wife and me talking because we have never come across any company that is so willing to go all out to ensure total customer satisfaction. My overall feeling of the job done was exellent and beyond our actual expectation cost wise as well as quality wise. I would recommend Granny Flats to anyone who treasures excellent quality work at a reasonable cost. Professional, reliable and can be trusted to give you the best quality for the money you spend. a bit slow but i guess this is expected to ensure that the best quality & reliability is delivered.

Have viewed 2 places with them and won’t be viewing another one. They call me ALL the time. I’ve tried to communicate over email, but instead of responding in writing they ring me? Quite suspicious, why don’t you want to leave details of our conversations in writing? Hmmm. Agents have been over 45 mins late each time, and when I mentioned how it was unprofessional the 2nd time it happened, the agent was so rude and aggressive, and had the audacity to try to pressure me to pay just hours after having viewed. No contract, nothing. Yeah, no thanks. If this is how you treat potential tenants, I can’t imagine how you treat people actually renting through you. Overall, super dodgy & super rude. Go elsewhere.

I worked at eOffice's holborn office for two months and I really enjoyed my experience there. The office is at a great location where you can easily find transportation, restaurants, tube stations etc and the office itself is spacious and clean, not mentioning the free coffee and fast Internet! Overall, it's a great co-working space!

OMG, we were told why we were renting it hourly not per day IN FRONT OF OUR CLIENT, we almost lost our client because of that, how unprofessional? How can she tell us in front of our Client? If she wanted to ask or tell something she should have call us into he office and talk privately not in front of our client, our reputation got messed up they were like oooo you don't have an Office???very very unhappy with their customer service.

I have to say they were all knowledgable companies but I felt more at ease with Flambard Williams. I dealt with Elliot there. They do not build their own developments like most of the other companies so are therefore totally independent and not trying to push a certain development or apartment down your neck. I dealt with them 5 months ago had a great service start to finish and would definitely recommend them again.

Amy Stern was amazing From the time she made initial contact, until her last email, she was professional and personable, always on hand to help. Though I didn't secure space through Flexi offices, Amy went out of her way recommend and show me several office spaces based on my brief. She took the time on one afternoon to personally take me to 4 places. She diligently followed up on all appointments, helped negotiate preferential rates and coordinate meet and greets with the various venues. Unfortunately, our preferred venue got snatched up which is why we didn't follow through. Amy made the whole experience of shopping for office space in a really competitive market really pleasant and easy. 427 E 82nd Apt. 3C, NY The apartment was furnished and met basic needs. There was a good supply of dishes and kitchen tools. The TV in the living room needs to be replaced. I had to unplug and reset it 2 or 3 times a day. The volume went out one day and I had to call someone to fix it. The hide-a-bed/couch was very uncomfortable. The bed made the couch cushions slope down. So, it was hard to sit on the couch, I kept sliding forward. The water that went down the kitchen sink accumulated in the dish washer, after filling up, it would leak on the floor.

I have recently purchased a new build from Harron homes on the lavender fold site. From the start the sales office staff, Sharon and Eileen, were fantastic - I must admit, first off, I thought it was till I bought a house, but that excellent customer service continued till the day of completion and after - Sharon, in the sales office, has always gone above and beyond, even to the detriment of her own personal time - for that I can’t thank her enough The only issue that doesn’t quite make this a 5 star, is how quick Harron want to complete, even when the house isn’t quite ready. That’s such a shame, as the experience of buying and the customer care is brilliant, but rushing people into the property does slightly ruin the experience. Once in we’ve found the aftercare excellent, site manager more than helpful and anything that requires attention got sorted. Overall the quality of the home is excellent and the Finnish is great, especially the bathroom and kitchen - good quality cupboards and bathroom suit. The guys on site are approachable and very helpful and the sales office staff go above and beyond. I love my new home!

David is a very good broker but using Home Bay was difficult with regards to actually selling the home. Many realtors mentioned that they did not like using a brokerage like Home Bay and that turned sellers off. I wish this wasn’t the case. Like I said, David was great and very communicative.

Last September, my husband, my son (19) and I spent 10 days in London at the Rabbit Row flat, which I very much recommend for a family holiday. It is set up on three floors, with two very spacious bedrooms, with very confortable king size beds and each one has an immaculate en-suite. It is only three minutes by foot to the nearest tube station (Nottinghill Gate). It is aurrounded by shops and restaurants. Kensington Gardens are also very close. Homefromhome provided a very good service, from the very first email I send to them. We were picked up at Heathrow by taxi and then collected at the end of our stay to be driven to the railway station. A major plus when you have lots of luggage. I will certainly use their services again!

Really liked the 2 bed/2 bathroom apt. in Kensington we rented. It suited us very well, and the location, which we know well, is perfect. We were somewhat surprised though that there was no actual "meet & greet"--that the keys were simply handed over to us by the driver who picked us up from Heathrow. No phone contact at all to make sure all was well, although we did have a couple of phone conversations with the office when we had power issues (resolved).

My real estate experience started when I purchased a condo in Hoboken, New Jersey, in the early 2000s. I lived there for a while, and then converted it into a rental. Over the years, I was able to weather both the financial crisis and Hurricane Sandy while keeping my rental and generating monthly cash flow. Now that the local housing market is up in Hoboken, I made the decision that it was time to exit the market, as it’s been extremely unfriendly with rent control laws and taxes. Not to mention, tying up half a million in 1 tiny box is a significant chunk of my net worth. The Next Steps Once I decided that I would sell my condo, I had to consider multiple factors: Where to invest? I considered a few local New York/New Jersey spots to invest in, but they were too expensive and came with high taxes and home prices. How do I invest passively? After self-managing for years and dealing with 2AM phone calls, terrible contractors and the rest of it, I wanted to make enough free cash flow to hire a property manager. This way I could truly be an investor, not a landlord. This was so important to me that I even strongly considered REITs as an alternative! What is the most advantageous way for me purchase real estate? When I started to calculate the tax bill, I realized that a 1031 exchange was my best option. 1031 Exchange A 1031 exchange was the best option for me as I had been depreciating the place as a rental for the past few years, which provided a lovely tax shield. The challenge was that if I sell the property, I would have to pay income tax recapture on top of the capital gains tax - OUCH! How HomeUnion Helped Luis from HomeUnion reached out to me around this time, and he informed me that HomeUnion could meet the fairly short timelines required to complete a 1031 exchange transaction. Even better, HomeUnion could help me split proceeds into multiple cash flow-positive homes and secure GSE mortgages to boot. To be honest, it sounded too good to be true. How do I know these are legit? Do I really want to buy homes I've never seen? I ended up visiting two locations, Chicago and Tampa, to meet HomeUnion’s local region managers and check out a few properties, which included the ones I was bidding on. Both local region managers struck me as knowledgeable, experienced and skilled at what they do. These meetings got me comfortable with HomeUnion as a company and as a partner. Fast forward a few weeks, and we've just completed the 1031 exchange transaction! I was able to split my Hoboken condo into 6 single-family houses (technically 5 as we added additional funds to purchase the last home) in 5 states using a 1031 exchange. By diversifying into multiple markets, I feel much safer for the following reasons: I'm not as worried about a big storm wiping me out, as I now have additional cash flow-generating properties. This means I'm well covered, even if I have an issue with one of them. I don't need to stress about keeping the places 100% occupied, as the cash flow is sufficient to allow for some vacancy. Best of all, the cash flow is expected to be enough to cover HomeUnion’s management fees, which reduces my hassle, and I can truly invest passively. HomeUnion’s Pricing Some may view their pricing as a premium product - I would agree it is not the cheapest route. I've always been a ‘do-it-yourself’ kind of person like many TrustPilot members, but after my experience, I would say HomeUnion delivered a lot of value and has been worth every penny spent. I believe they provided me with a service that went above what I could have handled alone (unless I quit my day job which I enjoy and wish to keep). I feel that I am in a much stronger position, and have advanced my real estate portfolio multiple years ahead by making this move. Current Status Three properties are now in rehab with HomeUnion, where they are handling the whole process of repairs/maintenance and working with contractors. I will keep you posted as they progress, but so far they are on track to exceed expectations. The other three properties have been tenanted and the early outset for HomeUnion’s management team looks good. _________________ Disclosure: I volunteered to write this because I saw some good posts here, but nothing on this specific topic and not many detailed accounts of HomeUnion from the community. When I mentioned this to HomeUnion, they offered me a free month of asset management as a thank you, but this has not affected my post and I've tried to be as unbiased as is humanly possible. In addition, we are at a stage where we have just completed the transaction: 3 properties are tenanted and 3 need some minor rehab and need to be filled. The early outset for management and rehabbing looks good but I can't vouch for that yet. I will create an update in a few months with my findings.

I first started looking into HomeUnion in 2016, before I had any real estate experience. I logged in to their site and started browsing properties, at which point I found one that I liked and starred it. The same day, one of their representatives called me to discuss my options. They made it very easy to understand what the process would be like to acquire the asset. Following that, they made it easy to manage the property, giving me a lot of documentation in an easy web dashboard along the way. They've been very accommodating of my requests, and are working with me to get other properties. The returns have been fairly consistent as soon as I got a renter. Overall, this is a really good option to invest in real estate with minimal effort.

Hello, I just want to warn you about Italian real-estate agents (Stefano & Teresa & Garbiela). The 3 persons work together in an office in "ul. Dietla 57, Krakow, Poland" while Stefano is the boss. This is a terrible agent who would steal your money and would make lease agreements that include ridiculous points that guarantee they earn maximum amount of money from you in all situations, and he doesn't respect any appointments as he can be late for any appointment with 6 or more hours. He threatens everyone who tries to reject such apartments after visiting them by law or going against GDPR and he doesn't return deserved refunds in such cases. He is the rudest impolite person I've ever seen in my life. Please serve your self and avoid these thieves. Note: housinganywhere didn't return any deservered refund to me and 95% of their advertisements are from these 3 persons anyway

I had a bad experience with this website, the landlrod changed the conditions and obliged to sign a contract with condition the were not show up at the beginning and still housinganywhre did not care as they refused to refund me and telling me basically that thy don't care. so for the landlord, i am not entitled of the room as i did not sign the contract but still housing anywhere refuse to refunds me this agency supports scamming landlords and present them as excellent advertisers!

I found ibuynew on Google when looking to buy off the plan apartments and after sending an enquiry online I went in for a meeting a few days later. I wanted to buy a property in Sydney to make the most of the first home owner grant, but I was told that Brisbane would better suit my budget and is the best place to buy right now. After looking at the facts for myself I ended up buying a really lovely one bedroom apartment in Brisbane which I will rent out once complete. I had a great experience from ibuynew from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate in using them again. We have had our office in iHub now for almost 6 months. Its a really lovely working environment, with lots of fun events going on, and fizzy Fridays with prosecco, cider and beer is an obvious favourite. The facilities are nicely decorated and to a high standard. The staff are particularly friendly, especially Jo who goes above and beyond to help you out, gets to know everyone and genuinely makes an effort with people. She also makes me porridge on Fridays which I love! The staff that you see around every day definitely make a difference and make iHub a lovely environment to work in.

This is my second review within 60 days of moving in. My lease began January 31 and I have YET to hear from ANYONE on my property management team. I’ve been told that messages have been sent back in February and March and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. My “property management team” an entire “team” apparently and NO ONE has called?? This has been nothing but a terrible experience. I haven’t had a water bill for 60 days, the leasing agent told me we had well water which is incorrect - I am not on a well. I was charged a bill thru conservice from January 31 - February 4, but no bill after that?? I am tired of chasing people down to call me. This is beyond ridiculous. The way this company is ran is astonishing. Jim Staples called me prior and I REALLY thought things would be better from Then. Boy was I wrong. I am thoroughly disgusted with their lack of acknowledgement and communication. To the point the maintenance supervisor (the first good person I’ve dealt with) has left a message on March 16 to my property management team and I still never got a response. I’ve beyond had enough - I have never had so much undue stress caused just to try AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE. Utterly ridiculous. I want a phone call TODAY. Follow up - Jim Staples has been the saving grace in my situation. MeLinda Soares has also reached out and we had a very good conversation. I am hoping for positive things here on out. Jim, MeLinda, Ramzi and Anthony Tritto have been nothing short of amazing.

On Monday morning, March 23rd, I contacted the maintenance number to notify them of an issue with a clogged drain that had occurred on Sunday. After speaking with the maintenance representative I was told that the first opportunity for someone to come out would be April 10th due to the corona virus. I clearly understand the virus, but outside plumbers are available and willing to work so there was a better option than waiting 3 weeks. We went back and forth but he would not budge. He actually stated that I could call someone myself! When I said he was requiring me to fix an issue that was not my responsibility he said whether I did or not was up to me. At this point, I requested to speak to a supervisor. He told me that it would do no good to talk to anyone else. I persisted in my request for a supervisor and was placed on hold for about 15 minutes until finally a female supervisor was brought into the call. She stated the exact same line....no one would be available until April 10th and the issue was not serious enough to call someone else. I asked simply if that was her final answer and she said yes. I stated "then I won't waste any more of your time" and I hung up. At that point I contacted an outside plumbing contractor who came to my home within 3 hours and had to use a rooting machine to clear the drain. He found a substance that he said appeared to be grout. Invitation Homes had used a contractor to redo a bathroom and they had poured grout in the drain! I was billed $ 200 for the service call but the plumber that I called. That same day I contacted the Invitation Homes office to cancel my PointCentral service. (I had tried to call PointCentral but was directed to Invitation Homes). While requesting the cancellation I mentioned to their representative about my plumbing issue and my dissatisfaction with their "maintenance" department. I told her that I was hopeful that since I followed their guidelines to contact maintenance first, that I would be reimbursed for the service call. Especially since the clog was caused by either the maintenance department or their contractor. She told me that I was not allowed to hire a plumber (despite what maintenance had told me earlier) and she arranged for an unnecessary second visit by a different plumber two days later. Remember that maintenance had refused to call a plumber AT ALL....and she called one the same day. Invitation Homes has refused to reimburse the $ 200 and have told me that they feel that they are making an ethical decision. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Having found the property that interested me on Rightmove I found it very quick and easy to contact the agent and it was then just as quick and easy to arrange a viewing at a time that was convenient to me. Having viewed the property, I was able to have a very open conversation with the agent that had accompanied me on the viewing and subsequently placed my offer. I received a quick response to my offer and the purchase proceeded from that point in the normal way. I was kept informed and updated as was necessary and again, keeping in contact was quick and easy. The part that I most appreciated was that there was never any sense of pressure or any kind of "Over-sell". I was shown the property, had any questions answered and was then left to make up my own mind.

After 28 years in our treasured home we made the enormous decision to move, not just us but also my Mum (who wants to write her own review) ...all of us planning to live together. So, dreading the process of having to deal with Estate agents we had a few round for valuations. Immediately Chris stood out as being genuine, knowledgeable and actually interested in our plans, not just paying lip service to get our business. So we chose Jigsaws based on that initial contact and what a briliant decision that has turned out to be ! Chris advised us early on to consider reducing what we were asking for our property to reflect the market more accurately. We were nervous because like everyone we wanted to believe our house was worth more, especially as to us it most definitely is, but such was our confidence in him, even at that early stage, we took his advice and soon our house was sold. Chris then stepped in to help with negotiations with another high street agent on a house we had offered on and kept me sane when the other agent was an absolute nightmare to deal with ! We lost that house and fate, with another helping hand from Chris, stepped in and the very next day we were viewing the wonderful house we've just exchanged on. This makes it all sound so easy but in fact it's been, as everyone tells you, one of the most stressful things we've ever done. Without Chris, and of course David & Jon, I don't know how we'd have seen it through. They've been there talking to us, advising, negotiating and lately navigating the minefield of solicitors with us. They're always been on the end of a phone every step of the way keeping the light at the end of the tunnel visible for us. Nothing has been too much effort or trouble, from a quick answer to a long conversation and whenever I've felt we were never going to get over the next obstacle Chris has cheerfully kept me going. Although their USP is the fixed fee service they offer actually I believe it's something you can't put a price on... .three friendly, thoughtful, understanding and genuinely nice people who provide an exceptional service in a very professional manner and don't hesitate to go the extra mile for you. Having dealt with the other estate agent early on there is just no comparison with the condescending, disinterested and downright disgraceful lack of customer care we recieved from them. Thank God we chose Jigsaw because I'd have been a nervous wreck by now otherwise and probably still without a sale or purchase to our name ! If you're thinking of selling then don't hesitate to use them and I hope from this review you can tell that you won't regret it for a moment. So finally in some ways though I swear we'll never put ourselves through moving for at least another 28 years I'll actually be sorry to say goodbye to Jigsaws ! We can't thank you enough guys and we'll keep in touch :-)

At 86 years old and on my own, selling my bungalow was a daunting prospect, even with the help of my daughter and son in law. Jigsaws have been nothing but helpful, friendly and professional throughout and always treated me with respect, explaining things as the process went on and doing this without being condescending or presuming I won't understand. They've been genuinely interested in our plans and always available to talk to however small the query. I mainly dealt with Chris & Jon and I know that for particular reasons the negotiation on my property was a bit tricky but they managed this with a successful outcome for both myself and the buyer. I visited their offices recently and was treated to a 'goody' bag ( now all eaten) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hope that when my 'wing' of the house is complete they'll pop round for a cup of tea ! Thankyou all very much.

First heard about LifeX through reddit while looking for a flat in Copenhagen. I wasn’t really sure what to expect as I had never lived in a shared accommodation before, but I figured it’d be a great way to get set up and meet people in a new city. Both signing up and moving in were absolutely hassle free and their spaces are great to live in. Will definitely recommend them in the future.

I recently moved to Copenhagen and was discouraged by the difficult-to-navigate apartment rental market and was worried about finding an apartment, buying furniture, etc. My employer referred me to LifeX and it made the process so much easier. In less than two days, after a phone call and a few emails, I had a fully furnished and serviced apartment lined up for my arrival in Denmark about two weeks later. The apartment itself is very large and the furniture/appliances are nice. Although there are sometimes small issues in the apartment or with the cleaning/restocking service, the LifeX operations team is always very responsive, and I rarely feel like my concerns go unheard. What makes LifeX truly great is the community. LifeX organises community events in Copenhagen and throughout Europe for its members and it's been a great way to meet people in a new city.

Be and her team have been professional but caring throughout the sale of our current home on Kings Hill. I would highly recommend KHP. I work in a similar field dealing with estate agents on a daily basis and I can honestly say that the team have been more responsive and proactive than any estate agent I have ever dealt with. Special mention for Julie who we feel has gone the extra mile to keep us informed on the progress of our sale and ensuring we exchanged smoothly.

The phone contact with Eugenia has been excellent,but the appartment owner not helpful at all to fix the issue with the broken toilet seat as she mentionned she knew about it,not to mention that three people can’t take a shower the same day as hot water isn’t consistently available.

We stayed in the apartment San Trovaso 2 for two weeks (December 2017 to January 2018). The apartment fulfilled the advertised quality to 100%, it was clean, everything was working, and the organisation of taking and returning the apartment was perfect. (The only thing to improve is, that all TV-programs were Italian.) I can fully recommend this company and this apartment.

We've rented from Luxrest 3 times now over the past 10+ years or so, always in different apartments, and have always been very impressed with the quality and good value of their accommodation and also their reliability in all respects, integrity and efficiency. We had a wonderful and relaxing break at Ponte Storto in December and can't wait for our next trip. We recommend Luxrest wholeheartedly and certainly wouldn't consider trusting our accommodation requirements to anyone else!

My boyfriend and I were having a very stressful morning looking for properties when we walked past LV. Shaun couldn't do enough to help us, running all over the place trying to find us a property to suit us at a good price. We are delighted that after worrying for a week about failed viewings after only 30mins with LV we had found a fantastic property way above our expectations within our budget. We cannot wait to move in in a few days and cannot thank LV enough for turning our house hunt nightmare into a dream come true.

My wife and I spent a week in December on our 50th Anniversary. We both had a great time. Peter was very helpful, he showed us around the well equipped villa, which had every thing you needed. He also gave us the telephone number of a taxi driver whose wife was the cleaner of the villa. His name was Joun I am sure that is the wrong spelling but I must say he was marvellous, if you ever stay in Gaul please use him. Funchal was very magical, with all the Christmas lights, and street entertainment. We found the restaurants really good. Although the island is quite small, there is a lot to see, and wish we were able to spend more than a week there. We recommend Madeira Direct to any one considering a holiday in Madeira. You will certainly not be disappointed. Many Thanks Richard & Joy Coppin

We wanted to book accommodation for 3 months at very short notice. They were extremely helpful and communicated promptly with E Mail. Accomadation involved 3 apartments between Garajua and Funchal. Very helpfull, nothing too much trouble and very accomadating. Would certainly use them again. Fantastic

We approached Hilton Homes after a long drawn out process with another builder which didn't work out. After explaining our situation and wanting to proceed with the house plans that had been approved in council, Hilton promised to provide a tender within 4 weeks. After a number of emails and phone calls that went unattended, they eventually advised that after 3 months of chasing the tender, that Hilton was not able to do a project of our size. Not only was this unprofessional but extremely disappointing as this was more time wasted. I would not recommend even going to Hilton for a tender let alone build a house. We found them very uncaring and continued to blame the boss for the bad news. Bad service

Just over a year ago we built at Bingara Gorge Golf Estate with Hilton Homes - based in Camden NSW. The service was excellent and went beyond all our expectations. [name removed] and his crew finished our house $533 under budget and 10 days ahead of schedule. Seriously great service. Even 12 months down the line when I noticed a pipe that should have been cut, they did it without a quibble. He is the fussiest builder you will ever meet and his standards of quality meant that we battled to put a snag list together after the build - there were no major issues at all. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Ahead of time, under budget, did everything they said they would do and more.
