I attended my colour appointment - ready and prepared which was for the allocated 3 hour session. Olivia, the colour consultant was really accommodating and friendly. I attended the showroom a few times and She always helped willingly and made great suggestions! I wanted to say thank Olivia for being amazing - her professionalism and honest suggestions really made Mimosa shine! I am looking forward to the build start date in 2020 and will certainly look at putting up my progress review at every stage :-)

Jeremy our site supervisor and the girls in the office were wonderful If we had any issues Jeremy was on it straight away. He made sure everything went smoothly for us. We were delighted that we got handover before time estimated. Only thing that was disappointing was the mess the tiler left on the tiles still trying to get that off. Over all very happy.

To be honest I got sick of looking for a Home Builder and considered selling my block...as nothing was clear with most Builders and you have no idea what you are getting at the end of the day, it got so frustrating. Found CMA through someone I know and OMG what a difference, everything is so clear and easy it blew me away. Not only saved money, great service all the way and amazing product. If I build again it will definitely be with CMA and I know you guys will keep growing and growing with such an amazing product ! Thanks again !

We moved in our Hampton Style home on acreage in Narangba in December 2017 and we are very happy with CMA so its a 5 stars for us! We started off with an Ascot Design and modified it to suit our needs, which was a really easy process, and no extra cost to do so, which was a huge plus for us. Chris our sales consultant was extremely helpful in coming up with great ideas that don't cost the earth as we had a limited budget (and the covenants stipulated a minimum house size of 300sqm) Plans were done super fast, then the building approval happened in around 2 weeks and construction started. The home was built in 16 weeks, which considering the size of the home we thought was amazing. We moved in right on time for Christmas, so it was perfect timing ! So overall we would definitely recommend CMA to anyone looking at building a new home.

My Fiancé and I had been looking for our first home for a little over 2 months, before we decided to look at home and land packages. We wanted to stay close to our families, and after a horrible experience with a 35 year old home and misleading real estate agents, we decided that a home and land package was going to suit us best and be financially beneficial to us. We spent 2 weeks visiting display homes and talking to different builders, with no luck. The frustration of not really being given what we were asking for was quite demotivating. My Fiancé got in touch with Daniel Tieu, through realestate.com, on a few house and land packages by Bellriver and received a phone call the next day from Daniel. Upon entering the Bellriver display homes at Oran Park, we knew we had immediately found our future home. We were so happy with the service and quality, that we cancelled two other appointments we had that afternoon and went through our options with Daniel. He provided us with an amazing home and land package, that fit what we wanted and was well within our budget. He helped us make changes that needed to be made, and allowed us to think about it and he accommodated to what we really wanted. He listened to us and provided the right product. Recommending Daniel and the team at Bellriver Oran Park, is something we would not hesitate to do in the future. They were amazing and professional to deal with, and Daniel did not hesitate to ensure our dream home would eventually become a reality with the right teamwork and processes they had in place. Many similar companies we dealt with were quick to offer the world and ensure we heard what we wanted to hear, but Daniel ensured that his trust was more important than the broken promises other companies delivered. Whenever we were unsure of something or we wanted something changed he overcame every single obstacle we handed him, truthfully. If it was going to cost more, he made sure we understood that and was adamant in delivering the financial comfort we needed. Extra costs were detailed to us upfront and no fine print was left unread. It is rare to find that sort of professional help in an industry that has been tarnished at times by its money hungry nature. Daniel, and the team, have been upfront from day one, regarding any delays or future obstacles and made it clear that there is always going to be a process to either rectify it, or work around it. And that is everything we needed as first home buyers. We have just signed our Tender and the whole process so far has been easy and hassle free, we cant wait to start building, knowing we have that piece of mind that people like Daniel and his team are looking after us.

We have build our first home at Riverstone with bell river. We got bell river recommend by friends. The overall process was smooth and easy going. Big thank you to Mat.W for being there at every step. He keeps us posted on every Friday in regards of progress of construction. He was very honest in his work. Their were few ups and downs but all ends well. I think I would still suggest that if you are in construction stage and if customer wants to upgrade or change something minor by paying money you should let them do it. Building 3rd house so can judge what is right and wrong up to certain extent. Ill put it into 5 stages Initiate: Good : being sales team involved (the only process group which is ok) otherwise they won't be able to build single home if this is also bad. Full marks to [name removed] (Left the company) and [name removed] Plan: NOT BAD: No clarity on work on schedules but still finish on time as I had built guarantee as VOR. Full Marks to [name removed] for managing communication management plan. keep up to date with updates on regular basis. Execute: BAD: Not satisfied with the trades employed by this builder shows result once job is done even with in few months. Quality of their so called generic products are extremely poor. So avoid using if someone is thinking of building. Take vors and use caroma or any authentic products but do that before signing contract otherwise you are TRAPPED. It will cost you one arm and a leg definately after that. I didn't see even they stand behind their products as its a Blame Game culture. Monitor and control: UGLY: Has no controls what so ever. Their supervisors ( i dont know about others) but definitely tell about mine is extremely Poor. I was doing his job most of the times visiting property to find out issues, perfect example about his style of working "Plumbing tap was not fitted and picked up during Handover inspection- After rectification he called me and we attended the property- He showed me "Plumbing tap is there" and I looked it was missing. He was blushed like anything. So you can imagine his working style has no clue whatsoever working under him. Argued on wrong things. Didn't even know where the tiling has to be done. on my request read the contract and found yes big portion of tiling is missed as information wasn't communicated to Tiler. Closure: WORST: No after hand over customer service. Dont bother about fixing issues just blame on other to cover their portion. This is most critical activity. To be honest this company is not ISO so do not know anything about customer satisfaction and management to get a good word of mouth. Used inferior products which i am thinking of disputing via Ombudsman. If possible stay away If got in- keep a close eye and if possible hire building inspector If finished : Beyond control circumstance :) either curse like me or if happy thank to your luck

This was our second home again being built by Impressions after being fully satisfied with the first built by same builder ,and on both occasions we had the same sales consultant Nilay. Nilay was excellent , spot on and delivered on time what was agreed without any hesitation or issues. We had been referred to Nilay by our friends who had already built with impressions during our first build, truly Nilay is an asset for the company and we would not hesitate to recommend him and the builder to anyone . The Team at Impressions are the back bone of the company and truly customer satisfaction is their number one priority, they attended to our queries promptly and nothing was a problem for them. Our sincere thanks to the following team of impressions who made our building journey very much easier and memorable:- Sales Consultant - Nilay (extremely knowledgeable and any changes in design/layouts never an issue , best sales consultant we have dealt with) Prestart Consultant- Rachel Burgess ( very friendly and customer orientated , during prestart we needed extra things and she suggested alternatives, which would look better and trendy, very knowledgeable) Client Liaison - Jasmine Riches ( Very Prompt to respond to queries/feedback whether on phone or email and sorting them out virtually in no time , Customer Focus and Satisfaction a priority for her) Supervisor: Darran Hutchinson -Truly a superb supervisor who keenly listens to the clients requests and ensures any issues /rectifications are resolved within the time frames , Darran come to site whenever we requested him to and attentively listened to our concerns and ensured they were addressed to our satisfaction. )

This is my second time building with Ventura, I was going to try another builder, but Ventura's deal simply beat anyone else and the whole building process was very flexible, efficient, professional, the house is excellent quality. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Overall very pleased with workmanship only fault would be the electrician he made two mistakes all down to not reading the plans properly that you supplied. The build was managed fairly well only fault once again not picking up the mistakes made by electrician. The customer service and support could have been a lot better but I suppose it was down to having one person leaving and another person being thrown in at the deep end half way through our build so it was poor. But no fault of either person leaving and starting. Just thought we could have been handled a lot better.

I have just completed handover on my new trendconnection home. This has been a really positive experience, and would highly recommend this builder. There was great communication between the project manager and myself. He was really helpful. I cannot fault the company on the quality of the build and products used. When I had the final inspection there were a lot of minor issues which were all resolved without question. They even made final adjustments which were not part of the contract.

Highly recommend It was an amazing and excellent experience with Trend Connection. Big thanks to my supervisor for helping with everything, he putting all his work and time into the job daily! The amazing designs for the bathroom is amazing. All the windows are have the perfect shape and size.

I can not speak highly enough about my experience with Commodore Homes. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. My house was built in a quick and efficient manner and all workmanship was excellent! I did not have one issue during the whole time my house was being built. I would like to say a special thank you to my Building Supervisor, Ramon Bosito, for his thorough, professional and friendly service. I would not hesitate to recommend Commodore Homes to anyone.

First contact with Commodore Homes was with sales assistant, Ed Benfell. He went above and beyond and made the process efficient, exciting, and honest. with it being our first home, the nerves got the better of us at times. Ed happily talked us through anything we needed to know and at one point answered an email 36 questions long. Jim our site supervisor was thorough and made sure any concern we had was looked after and addressed. Having the Portal was great, it is all in one place and we were able to check in with it at any time, and excitedly await new uploads of photos, of which there were many. Throughout the contract and build process there were changes to the technology that Commodore were offering. Commodore ensured that we had the best possible tech and appliances for what we had selected. They met their build guarantee of 24 weeks. We actually came under that. All in all we recieved the house that we asked for and paid for with no complications.

We selected Plantation Homes after an incredible experience with the Sales Team at Harmony on the Sunshine Coast (Emma, Lily and James) who worked with us including some last-minute major changes that delivered our preferred house at a better price than the original estimate they gave us. We also loved the practicality of almost all the high set designs we looked at, great for a family, and if the in-laws stay. We found the level of inclusions amazing, resulting in fewer upgrades (things like high ceilings, high doors, decent tapware, and much more were in the base price...such a pleasant surprise as everywhere else we had been this was not in the base price attractive so had to add >$50K, with plantation this was not the case. We also found that the sales team did not try and play down the costs involved to achieve what we wanted, meaning after colours we didn't get price shock. It aligned almost exactly with the Sales Team's guidance and estimates. Our colour selection was fantastic, Kay looked after us and guided us through the day balancing budget, style and our dreams incredibly well (it would've been so easy to double the price with all the amazing options). She also made sure the colours and style reflected us and our dream even though the finished product was something we hadn't been able to visualise or describe well until that time. And the finished product from this was out of this world!!!! The office staff have also been fantastic and efficient, with communication being responded to promptly and questions answered well (or clarified if there was any uncertainty). This has meant things have been smooth and painless for us. The build has been efficient and fast with activity on site almost every day despite some horrible weather and shipping delays caused by a supplier. Our site supervisor Adrian has been fantastic, and very practical, with no negatives on the build process or the quality of the workmanship. The office If we were to build again we would definitely use plantation, and given this is our first house this is incredibly likely. The process was made easy for a first time builder such as myself. Plantation Homes was extremely professional and polite from initial contact to the day I received my keys. The house was finished 2 months earlier than required and to an extremely high standard. Plantation Homes provide a good variety of house plans, a much larger choice of standard inclusions which are generally a step above other builders and very good on price.

We did our research, and decided on two builders, one of which was Summit. Then to get a design that we liked, which was proving to be a mission. One afternoon we visited a Summit display home where we had the good fortune of meeting Todd who designed our home, which we are very happy with! Todd was very patient, thorough, and helpful throughout the entire build. Our site supervisor Victor was also fantastic, and kept us in the loop for the duration of the build. We were given his mobile number, which was very important to us.. He always addressed any concerns we had, met us on site when needed, and ensued any issues were fixed. Vic obviously has a great rapport with his team of contractors. The site was kept clean and tidy, thanks to Vic. Overall we are very happy, and would definitely recommend Summit and would build again with them!

I’m just over 2 years after the build and sumitt homes after build support is second to none, cracks have just been repaired and repainted, the painting crew were absolute professionals ,I smile when I read all these bad reviews of other builders and think what a good choice I made going to Sumitt Homes,

We built our home with Burbank and we are really blessed to have Anne Finnie as a Sales consultant who is very friendly, dedicated, helpful and knowledgeable supported all the way. Doesn't matter what time she responds instantly for all of our queries. She maintained a good relationship with us. She is amazing. My building supervisor Bradly snooks is excellent supervisor, who built our home without any issues. Even my private inspector said "I have never seen such a good built these days". He plans very well far beyond and give us good suggestions when needed. He is very dedicated and hardworking man. We are very lucky to have him. My new home coordinator Caitlyn Cornish is an excellent person. She responds very quickly and provides necessary documents or anything that you need during your journey. She is amazing. We are very lucky that we selected Burbank as a builder who has these fantastic team. We got our keys on 27th of March. No delays at all throughout the build . We are a very happy customers. We have had nothing but smooth sailing with Perry Homes since the first day of questioning their sales staff. We found them to be refreshingly honest and always helpful. The salesman we dealt with, Tony Weston, was realistic in his advice regarding how long the build would take, and his advice turned out to be spot on. Perry started our build in late January 2014, and we moved in last Wednesday 21st May. Our building supervisors, Jason and Greg, have been helpful, obliging and friendly with everything we have asked of them. No question was out of bounds, and no detail overlooked. As for the tradies who were employed on our build, we cannot speak highly enough of them. They were all very particular about their work, and took pride in it. We found it very refreshing to have people around us who could `think for themselves` and take the initiative when it came to making decisions. At every stage we were consulted about the detail, to the point where one day, we had a call from Greg to ask if we would like him to arrange access so that we could measure up for blinds etc. In all, we are more than happy with our experience with Perry Homes and their Port Macquarie office. After speaking to a few of our new neighbours, we have been told that they wished that they had had a similar experience to ours, not the ones that they endured with other builders. In short, dealing with Perry was a pleasure, and we really would recommend them. Professional and honest attitude.

My custom design home was well planned under first class qualified builder John Vos that had exceptional high qualified tradesman In all I can only say that my house is perfect. From day one to end of the construction I received weekly progress and update with photos. The hand over was wonderful and most memorable day.

I think the thing you most hope for when building is that you receive value for money, and that the end result is one you are happy with. We have achieved both through building with Novus homes. We had some preliminary plans of our dream home which were shopped around to a few builders. As the design was a slightly more unusual build, we felt confident that Novus Homes was the builder who had the best knowledge and skill to bring our dream to life. Novus took our plans and developed them further until we had an unbelievably functional and beautiful home. Cost-wise, I believe we have a home that was incredible value for money. Options were investigated, and then presented to us of different price ranges, so we could choose where we spent our money. Throughout the planning process, we were kept updated at all times. Any concerns or questions we had were investigated and answered, with options provided to give us choice. The portal is a great overview of where you are in the build and what upcoming tasks lie ahead. Once the build was started, it progressed at a speedy rate. Our Supervisor had incredible knowledge and attention to detail which has resulted in a home which is a high standard. Make no mistake, issues will arise when you are building. The quality of the builder is shown in the speed they respond, and the way they overcome any issue. In this respect, Novus Homes exceeded our expectations, providing solutions which has enhanced our home. All trades on the site (and we lived behind the build) were craftsmen who took great pride in their work. They were also very respectful and kept the site tidy. We really feel that a good outcome for us was Novus Homes top priority, and this was the motivation behind every aspect of the build. We would wholeheartedly recommend them as a builder.

We would like to thank Melanie and Greg of Novus Homes for helping us to create our dream home and for creating the stepping stones to making this journey such a pleasant one. From their professionalism in making sense of our various jumbled ideas to getting the first plans to almost exactly what we had in our hearts but were unable to put to paper ourselves. My house build start from April and finished within 4 months. Got updates from Neville and Kumaran all the times. The Turn Key house building completed perfectly. Much better than what I expected. It is so easy, only been on site few times, and after 4 months got the Keys and all done perfectly. Highly recommended for people going to build their own house, Neville and Kumaran are the one you can trust.

Liaising with Cavalier Homes (Goulburn Valley) right from the start was a friendly, efficient experience. From visiting a display home, talking with Peter (sales), through to working with Courtney to chose colours, etc, every step was stress-free. We were able to check on how things were going at each stage, and were surprised by how quickly our house was ready to move into. Any issues (usually minor) during the build and afterwards, have been dealt with immediately. Thanks also to Kurt, Daniel, Luke & Ben for their work as well.

I am now on my third build in the last two years with Plunkett Homes. Again everything has gone smoothly and to plan. I have built many homes over the past thirty years with many builders and I know it's not easy. Plunkett Homes has demonstrated a very high level of professionalism from the beginning. I believe the ease of the build is down to the care and attention given by the individuals who are responsible as the project evolves. Although I have built as an investment property I cannot fault the high standard of all the trades involved. I am very pleased with the end result. It would be naive to think that there was nothing to discuss along the way. Nevertheless, these minor issues were dealt with efficiently and willingly. I must stress that these were only minor. In closing I need to thank Anita, Su, Tegan Amy and Andre for all their support. A job well done.

First of all thanks Plunkitt Homes for building my First home and specially Summit Sindwani who helped and provide a great start and share his ideas He has a great knowledge of designs , sales and did great job for me . moving forward prestart stage management should look into a bit specially for first Home buyers like myself, things could be more practical by providing a bit more explanations to the customers by the professionals , some decisions made in rush .. Alan a great personality and a good professional lskilld who listened all issues with patience but unfortunately some jobs were out of his approach.. Which could be done way better .. Aftersales experience wasn’t bad overall except they couldn’t figure out roof noises hope they will work that out to provide me a better solution for that its been a year reported since been move in but still never get a positive solution. Right from the first meeting with the salesman and deciding which home we wanted to build, we were impressed with WA Country Builders. The camaraderie between staff members and the feeling that this is a tight knit team was always there. Phone calls and emails were answered quickly and professionally. The supervisor on our home had a positive "can do" approach and was a really asset to the build. He had some great ideas and when we wanted to change anything he could not be more helpful.

We bought a Rural Building Home some 12 months ago. This home was 8 years old and we absolutely loved the design of the Bushland Retreat, but just a day or two after moving in we found the sound through the large apex windows was unbearable (traffic noise). We are currently getting quotes for double glazing but this window is so large it is costing thousands. Please bear this in mind when you are building one of these homes. It truly is unbearable. No other neighbours around us have such a bad problem, because they don't have the high ceilings or extra large windows. I think we will end up moving even though we love the house. Every single car or bike that passes our house sounds like a thunder bolt. Not exaggerating. Design Traffic noise problems

As a recently retired Building Inspector I don't see anything positive in my daughter's Allcastle home, yet to be completed. The timber roof & wall framing has weathered due to lack of efficiency. They put the flooring in before the roof was completed and windows fitted. I had my moisture meter handy at the time I went out there and it was and it was going off everywhere. They left stacked timbers on top of the flooring it was saturated and this is supposed to be a new home. This is also the longest build I think I have ever seen for such a large company, it has been over a year and it is still incomplete. Items that were supposed to be fitted are not. Allcastle want to be paid extra because they have taken so long to lockup stage some of the internal fitting are not available and they now have to sort other products or so they say. Other houses built by other companies in the area started their builds after Allcastle and are completed and occupied. I could go on with this but I think I have said enough.

Worse company for customer service. They sign you up then don’t take your calls. Buyer beware.

Find another company. Wish we did! 😪 The name Sherridon should be left to the linen company because these builders are as good as a wet blanket. So far nine and a half weeks to organise a slab. Happy to discuss? More like happy to fob off for another week or two. They make you feel like an unwanted burden.

They took the final payment saying that the house is ready and going to organize a time for handover but now it is been more then a month took they final payment no handover yet plus they put the wrong size entry door and nothing done yet about it . I am regret for built with them . Very low level management team and supervisor. I built some houses with different builder , Srridon is the worst builder in my experience.

They advertise on realestate.com a much lower amount (in our case by $7k) to get you just in. We confronted them about this and their response is that we are not sure how this has happened. They did not honour the advertise price! on realestate.com there was no 'from' in front of its price or had any TnC stated. They are liars and save yourself the headache and bad surprised.

This is our second time building with Henley. Overall happy with the build process, our Sales consultant ([Name Removed]),construction admin ([Name Removed]) and Site Supervisor ([Name Removed])has been really great throughout the build, giving us consistent updates and answering our queries in a timely manner. There were minor hiccups along the way which has been rectified , overall happy with the build quality of the house. I highly recommend Henley.

worse company to go with. ripped of extra side cost just before hand over even after fixed side cost. pending maintenance from 2 years . mould is growing in master bedroom due to size difference between owning window and frame water comes in when rain happens. my health and my son's heath is getting worse due to mould. Even i told the maintenance staff to just fix this one problem first before other maintenance work, only response i gets ," we r not sure when we can fix it".i know it was lockdown before now it been months since we opened but still waiting.donot waste ur money.no customer values .

Just wanted to share a factual replay of our recent experience with Granvue Homes. End of Jan 21 - Pre-approval for loan. Early Feb 21 - Visited the Larimar 43 at Rathdowne Estate, Wollert. House caught our eye and ticked all the "boxes". However, we were still looking around and considering our options. Mid Feb 21 - Returned to the Larimar to have another closer look. Still loved the house and design and shortlisted the house. Enquired with the Sales Consultant (SC) about availability of house for purchase and he said it was. Over a few exchanges of emails, agreed with the SC an amount to purchase and a date to come in and place deposit. 27 Feb 21 - Booked an appointment with SC for 11am to place initial deposit on the Larimar 43. Confirmed and received deposit receipt immediately. 1 Mar 21 - The SC advised via email that sale contract has been ordered. 18 Mar 21 - Received hardcopies of the sales contract. Forwarded through to my conveyancers. 19 Mar 21 - My conveyancers advised of a few areas that required clarification or further details. Details forwarded through to Granvue's conveyancers (Quality Conveyancing Group). 19-24 Mar 21 - Chasing Quality Conveyancing for update. 25 Mar 21 - Hear back from Quality Conveyancing who is not willing to change or update contracts. They only provided details on what was included with the house. 29 Mar 21 - Quality Conveyancing provide revised contract for signing. Contract had 30 days for settlement (30 May 21). 30 Mar 21 - Contract signed by me. 1 Apr 21 - My conveyancing checks the contract and noticed I missed signing a page. Completed and the contract was forwarded through to Quality Conveyancing. 7 Apr 21 - Contract countersigned and copy provided. 8 Apr 21 - Countersigned On Sale Deed provided by Quality Conveyancing. 8 Apr 21 - With the delay in getting the contracts signed, my mortgage broker requested an extension to the finance clause by 1 week so he could order the bank valuation on the property. Deposit was originally due 9 April 21. 9 Apr 21 - I made the deposit anyway. 12 Apr 21 - Formal extension to finance provided via email from Quality Conveyancing to 16 April 21.12 12 Apr 21 - Request for Trust receipt confirming deposit made from Quality Conveyancing for my bank to finalise the loan and prepare settlement. 12-26 Apr 21 - Almost daily request for the Trust receipt from Quality Conveyancing. Also pushed the SC to speak internally. Every time, no clear response or answer on why there is a hold up. Also notified Quality Conveyancing we would need to extend Settlement date as they are not assisting us and delaying our processes. 26 Apr 21 - Receive Trust receipt from Quality Conveyancing after my conveyancers finally pin them down on the phone. My conveyancers tell me they were rude and unprofessional and said there will be no extension to settlement. It is impossible now for us to process with my bank for settlement in 3 days. Attempt to speak to Max again to have him sort out internally, but didn't get a response. 27 Apr 21 - Quality Conveyancing issue my conveyancers a letter to state they are terminating the sales contract. They said there would also be no further discussion on the matter. 29 Apr 21 - SC finally contacts me and states he has learned the Director has decided to simply just terminate contract. 30 Apr 21 - Quality Conveyancing return money. So Granvue Homes, who are apparently in the business of "not just building homes, but to help families realise their dreams"...well they have shattered ours and have acted in completely bad faith. We have been left out of pocket and have lost time to secure a home.

Stay away from Alphaline Homes. QBCC has issued 40 Directions to rectify orders against Alphaline. I will be going to QCAT as well on unauthorised plan changes and other issues outside the QBCC process. Alphaline’s response has meant some defects have had to be attended to multiple times.

Alphaline build time was unreal, from enquiry to move in date taking no longer than 12 weeks, the whole process signing the contract and designing the house was a breeze and nothing was a problem. We are very impressed with the quality of our house and the finishes. Steve the General Manager has a genuine interest in building a home of high quality and ensuring that we were 100% happy with the finished product,any issues that arose throughout the build were fixed or rectified straight away. We love our new house and have absolutely no problems recommending Alphaline to anyone looking for a builder. Once again, thanks Steve.

We were extremely happy with the whole process of building with Perceptions from the initial contact with the sales person (Keith Campbell) at one of their display homes to then dealing with the friendly and efficient office staff and the building supervisor (Jeff Kobel) up to the point of completion and handover of our new home in South Perth. As our home was not one of Perceptions Project Homes but a Special Design (our own) there was a number of adjustments and variations made to the plan when we wanted to change things prior to the building commencement. All this done with the minimum of fuss with their overcoming some awkward things we presented them with. We are very happy with the completed product and are happy to recommend them to others and would build with Perceptions again if the occasion presented itself.

We built our dream home with Perceptions 3 years ago. We were able to work with their sales representative and tweak their design to suit us and our lifestyle. There was a lot of exchanging ideas with their recommended interior designer too, not always in agree-ance but working with us to our style. Any issues we had were promptly attended to. Three years on, we couldn't be happier. We love our home.

Montgomery homes have been brilliant to us, from the first day walking into the display home at Terrigal and meeting with our first sales manager (who has now left) who went above and beyond to come up with a design to suit our needs. We put our first payment down and away we went. Montgomery homes did all the hard work all we needed to do was read the contract and sign. Selections process was fun, getting to choose what colours and designs you want in your home, I was in my element, it was a fun day but be careful not to go overboard as you could easily overspend upgrading to better products. Also it's important to make sure you read your selections sheet very carefully to make sure everything's right. When building had commenced, we met with our site supervisor, had a quick look around and he explained a few things, lucky for us we were renting just around the corner from our new build so we could look at the progress when we wanted to. We tried not to harass the site supervisor as I wanted the house built fast, the handful of times I did ring he was very helpful. We had handover on the 4th Sept. and couldn't be happier. We love our new home as well as our kids who run around like crazy monkeys. The whole Montgomery homes team have been wonderful to us, and had all my questions answered either by email or phone. Would definitely recommend Montgomery homes to friends and family. Thank you Montgomery Homes. ☺

This was our third time building a new home and we built with two other companies before. We hesitated at the start as to whether we should go with Montgomery Homes. We wanted a great project builder with reasonable price tag and be able to customised the house plans. It was a rocky start with the sales team as we made many changes to the original split level house plan to suit our needs and there were some mistakes along the way which was not entirely Montgomery homes fault- (we made lots of changes to the interior and exterior layouts and was able to keep within our budget). We were very happy that the company was so accommodating with all the changes we made. The site supervisor was fantastic and the house was built to the timeframe. In the end; we got a beautiful solid home that we really like and enjoy. The after sales/ building service fixing the defects were attended to in a timely manner and Montgomery sent their trades to fix things with no problem. The communication with the ladies in the office was excellent. The maintenance supervisor is great and always replies to our calls/text where possible. Montgomery is by far the most flexible and reliable company we dealt with. We could not be happier and please that we selected Montgomery Homes to build our dream home. We highly recommend Montgomery Homes.

We signed up with Ideal Homes in June and got our permit on the 28th of October. Our top bloke consultant has been easy to deal with. He made us feel we are one family and this was pivotal in us deciding to build with Ideal Homes. [name removed] has been phenomenal from day one and has gone out of his way on several occasions to present us with all the information and guide on a silver platter as first time home clients. Communication was easy and prompt Finance part was exceptionally done by the behemoth and best in the industry Gema Veza of Nu-Age Lending Solutions. Pre-start was made easy and fun by Alanna.[name removed] I will keep posting progress as we go for the next stage which is building. Thanks guys for a job well done!!! Then came the build up which had been a horrible experience from the start. I have a book of bad experiences to tell

This is the second time we have built with our Consultant Tristan. 1st time with Ideal homes. Tristan was upfront and so easy to deal with, and made our process from the beginning to end fantastic. He was always on hand to return calls and communicate with us throughout the building process. Top bloke. Prestart was awesome also, Alanna is very good at what she does, and guided us through this tough process with ease, and was great in following up for us. We got our keys to our new home in the allocated time. Nothing was any trouble for both Tristan and Alanna and made the whole experience of building a great one. The only complaint would be the standard of the plastering on most of the internal walls and the building supervisors attitude towards this was very blasé.

This was our third Hallmark Home and think it was easier this time than the last two and they were good, from choosing our new home with Dylan from the Springfield display to the lead up up to construction everyone we dealt with made it so easy and relaxing. And then we started the build and our supervisor was Glenn Easey, now that man needs a gold watch he was so great to deal with, nothing was ever a problem and he delivered a fantastic home which we love. Building a new home with Hallmark was an easy decision for us to make as it was clear to us from the very beginning when we met Cassie Linwood (Sales, Northlakes office) that she would be the one who would help us to achieve this. Cassie not only made us feel that we were her ONLY clients, but she was a very pleasant, good-humoured, helpful and professional salesperson with extensive knowledge about planning and design to achieve the desired outcome for us as a family. We were carefully guided and given the best advice when needed in all aspects of the design process. Cassie was mindful of our budget and worked with us drawing on her valuable experience of building her own home with Hallmark to achieve the best design to suit our needs and lifestyle. She also impressed us with her understanding of what works and doesn’t and made many practical suggestions that will benefit us which we never would have thought of on our own. We cannot express enough our gratitude to Cassie for a great experience planning our new home! When it came to choosing colours, tiles, electrical etc, Hallmark had an amazing team, especially Emma-Rose, Jade and Amy, who were very patient with us as this to us was a difficult task as we knew we would have to live with our choices but by providing us with many options, valuable suggestions and advice thankfully they made this part of the decision making process an easy one - nothing was too much trouble for them. Although our home at the moment is only at stage 3 of 5, we are very pleased so far with the way Hallmark staff in general have dealt with us thusfar. Our experience to date has been great thanks to a chain of highly committed and dedicated staff in the Head Office - Hayley Chaplin (Receptionist) who is always pleasant over the phone, and Sabina Foster (Preconstruction Manager) who demonstrated a deep passion and sincerity to help us through the preconstruction process. She always attended to our questions promptly and with a great spirit, investigating issues of concern to us and providing clear explanations to put our minds at ease. We found her to be a very competent person to deal with -- and in the Construction department, Andrew, manager and Matthew, site supervisor, never made us feel as if we were bothering them by asking too many questions (or dumb questions) and they always deal with us in a polite manner. They are always available to talk us through the details of each stage and expected completion despite their many commitments to other builds. They were excellent when it came to following through rectifying issues in a manner that received glowing praise from our private inspector, quote “it is a pleasure to note that this dwelling presented extremely well for reinspection a credit to the builder and all involved”.We have not experienced a moment where we have not been supported and given the right advice moving forward. We highly recommend Hallmark to anyone looking for a great experience building their home. We have already recommended Hallmark to one of our friends, as well as interested neighbours. If we are to build again, we would definitely choose Hallmark.

As this was the first time my wife and I were building a new home we were very particular on who we were going to build with and after meeting with the sales team we knew Ansa was the right builder to go with. Their knowledge, friendliness and overall patience with our relentless questions was second to none. Our relationship with our supervisor was open and honest which filled us with confidence and any hiccups during construction were dealt with quickly and in a professional manner. We love our new home and won't hesitate to use Ansa again.

We built with ANSA Homes in 2012, we had a great first builder experience and since then we have built another 2 homes with them. The team were very easy to deal with and responsive when we had questions and queries along the way. We were so impressed by the finished product, there were minimal defects and the quality is still evident years later. The supervisor we had was excellent he kept us in the loop and constantly sent us progress updates even when there were minor delays. All in all we would defiantly recommend ANSA Homes to others as a reliable quality builder

Signing with this company has been nothing but stressful and distressing. Contract signed, same week another contract issued asking for a significant amount of extra money. After months of lies and poor communication from the Toronto and Cooronbong offices and after promising our deposit back, we have now resorted to the help from Fair Trading and now The Tribunal. READ THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING WITH THIS COMPANY. WATCH THE CURRENT AFFAIR STORY DONE ON THEM. Sadly we are not the only ones having huge issues with them. This company has absolutely zero integrity and needs to be closed and own up to their responsibilities and stop taking peoples hard earned money.

After talking to so many builders ,decided to go with McCarthy homes,what I likes about them was their speed,and good communications,but compared with other builders they charge me way too expensive ,and the material they used are pretty basic,low quality stuff in toilets and bathrooms,some of them broken after few weeks and their response was they are not withing guarantee of the house and we should get some one to come and fix them up for you.but what I am annoyed is my property was located on a busy road and my main concern was the noise inside and I asked them the first day I want a sound proof house,they built a house according to an acoustic report ,but practically the house has too many noise in it,they should have known and advised me that they should not use light materials to build a property in that location,it should have been built of all brick and metal roof should have never been used,instead they built the house with very light stuff which noise passes easily,I raised the issue with them and they said the nose level is ok and is because it is located on a just a busy road,it not a convincing answer,all my neibours live a noise proof property but not me,basically I just wasted all my money in this property as McCarthy did now know how to built it properly,I plan to complain to BsA

Our build is still continuing, by the time we move in, it will be 12 months since we signed the contract. Do not assume that if you know exactly what you want, you send back all documents that require your signature the next day and any descions required are made straightaway, that you will avoid unnecessary delays. As soon as the contract is signed don't expect to feel like you are a priority, a valued customer or in any way important to McCarthys. If you don't mind additional unexpected costs, living in rented housing for 12 months with all your posessions in boxes and paying rent and mortgage at the same time, whilst you see others moving into their houses in less than half the time, then McCarthy's is the builder for you. I hope that when we finally move in that I will be able to say it was worth it and that we have a quality product, but I suspect it will take some time for my health to recover from the stress of what the combination of McCarthys and Homeside lending have done to my health. But that's another story... Excellent pre-contract, sales guy was very helpful, helped us to design a be-spoke home to suit our sloping block, he came out to view several blocks for us, before we found one to suit our needs. Very helpful staff at Majer Tiles, offered advice on style and colour selection added real value to the experience. Once the build (finally) commences construction staff are polite and helpful and the progress is good. Administration delays, particularly in the drawing office (over 4 months to get council approved plans, we sent all documents back within 24 hours of receiving them, the delays were all from McCarthy, any amendments to drawings take around 3 weeks to come back, even if they have made the error eg by putting the wrong lot number on the drawings, we were told your drawings then go to the back of the queue and you have to wait again. Selections booklet given to us prior to selection meeting was useless - there was a totally new product range of fittings to choose from and prices were not available for the majority of them. 'Free interior design service' was none existent -the interior designer showed us the range available and entered our choices, no help or advice was given, no value added to the process from the designer. Meeting started at 8.30am and ended at around 4pm, we were told we would be given lunch - we had to ask at 2.30pm for something to eat. Electrical contractors - had to take a day off work to go and see them at Caloundra, they are not electricians and are not able to offer any practical advice. We are in a Telstra Smart community and have particular cabling requirements for TV, Data, phone etc they were not able to offer any other type of cabling, basically all they could do was lights and sockets, whole experience was a waste of time, we have had more assistance from the staff in the lighting stores. We were told we would have to have structured cabling, at an extra $3000+ but the guy selling it to us, had no idea of the type of wiring required or what it would enable us to do. We organised our own guy, who had done this type of wiring before. Contract and Variation sheet, every time a quote is required it goes on the variation sheet, if you don’t like the price, it is then subtracted on a subsequent variation sheet, from whichever stage payment claim it is applicable to, so you have negative and positive variations at each stage claim, by the time you are at build stage, it becomes increasingly difficult to understand. Payment terms of 5 days from the date of the invoice for stage claims are beyond the capability of our bank, particularly if a valuation is required. Extra unexpected costs added to the contract

During my search for a builder last year I was recommended by a friend to shelford who I had never heard of. I spoke with Graham who went over and beyond to try and deliver my expectations within by budget. Beautiful designs although he continually promised his confidence in the design fitting my budget. BUT when pricing came in it was 20k over!! He did his best and got it down another 5k I think but that it still WAY over. He put it down to the estimator not being fair and his boss agreeing with him. Very annoying seeing as I was always promised that house within my budget. A big time waster really but I must say Graham really tried and it is unfortunate that for a small family builder they could not try and give the customer a fair go. Turns out some other guy with the same house as mine got it for 'cost' price as the estimator stuffed that up. Not a great excuse but basically that's what I was given. I ended up building with someone else... House designs amazing Boss/estimator seem unfair not willing to negotiate

Well i first seen/heard of shelfords with there advertising in the sunday times with there display homes and liked the look of what i seen and decided to check them out in person, and from the moment i set foot in the display home i was impressed with what i seen and right from the start nothing was to hard for George Strnadica to do for me. Being a first home builder/owner and knowing nothing of the process involved in building and the other cost you could come across he explain everything with regards to BAL, salt spec if you build close to the coast, the grade the block is rated at and extra cost that could be involved with earth works and whats included with the house and what you will need to do your self, there were no secrets and surprises, and were very up front and did not push you to sign a contract then and there like other home builders made me feel.George Strnadica was very helpful going out of his way to change the house plan to what i liked and even helping me find the best block of land for my house design, even making the effort to drive to the blocks and eye balling them himself before recommending them to me. Amy Dos Santos from the pre start team was just as helpful and upfront. The construction of my house is at the stage of the roof going on and the workmanship so far has been excellent. In conclusion I am very happy with the quality from shelfords and would recommend them to anyone thats looking to build.

Since first meeting with sales representative and consecutive meetings with [name removed] we were impressed with customer service.As first time builders we had tons of questions and all were happily explained to us. [name removed] was our New Home Sales Consultant, and he was amazing, as he was very understanding and even got us a discount! He won us over due to his loving and caring personality, and his great knowledge on what JG King Homes had to offer! After signing some paperwork, we then got handed over to [name removed], who was our Customer Service Administrator, and she was quite slow with emails and made a couple mistakes on our documents, but those were fixed soon after. Then mid-way through the Pre-Construction process, [name removed] came in and took [name removed] position, and did a fantastic job! Very kind, friendly, and understanding! Easy to contact, quick and efficient, as she replied to our emails within minutes, and kept us up to date on where we were up to, and what we needed to do next! The final cost was the same as the estimated cost, which was awesome as everything was as expected and there were no hidden fees! We are very excited to start our construction phase, and feel confident that we can always contact [name removed] or [name removed], as they both reassured us that we can email or call them whenever we have any issues or concerns. Overall, great customer service provided to us so far! P.S. I spent several years looking at homes to build and I kept comparing everything to the Sarah Homes Whitely 180. So I decided to build it. My dream has always been to have a beach house to live in. I knew nothing about building. Sarah Homes helped me every step along the way. They adjusted the plans and materials to suit what I wanted. The Building Supervisor was so helpful and kept me informed of everything that was going on. He even provided advice and help for the other things outside of building the house, like rainwater systems, suppliers in the area and all the other little things a new home builder/buyer doesn't know. Even when and external contractor let them down, they wouldn't compromise on quality and insisted on replacement of the materials until it was 100% right. In the long run, the time delay was worth it for the quality of the finish. Overall, I love my new home and would recommend Sarah Homes to friends. Quality results, dependable communication, helpful all the way and the building supervisor had great local knowledge of the area, conditions, standards required by law... Timeline blew out due to delays by roofing contractor who had to replace roof 3 times due to quality issues.

We built the Lawson two storey. From the start our experience with Sarah homes was great, our sales consultant was very helpful and we felt very comfortable with him. The selection process was also quite easy, although we had a bit of trouble when wanting to make a change to a tile colour but that all got sorted out in the end. Our site superviser was fantastic and kept us informed all the way along which we really appreciated. We are happy with the structual standard of our home but were a bit disappointed in some of the painting, there were a few drips in the outside and inside there were areas that were very thin. Overall, we are happy with the end product and would be happy to recommend Sarah Homes to anyone looking to build. good communication from staff, value for money, good products used.

In April 2001 our new home was handed over to us by Mr. Ron Englehart. Our project was handed over very professionally by Ron and his team and we found at all times there was Staff available to assist with our questions and variations etc. We have now lived in our home for 13 years and have never required maintenance of any kind due to faulty workmanship or poor quality materials. We have now been living in our new Englehart Home for 10 months and thought it would now be appropriate to comment on our experience from the initial consultation to after care service since handover. Our first interaction with Englehart homes was at their 'Saville' display home in Belmore road, North Balwyn. After inspecting several other display homes in the area, we were immediately impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. We engaged Englehart homes as we wanted a quality built home. The design process commenced and we were impressed with our interactions with the Englehart team. They considered all of our needs and encouraged us to provide them with as many design details as we could about what we considered to be important to us. Admittedly, the whole design process took quite a long time but in the end it was worth it because there were minimal design alterations and variations hence saving us some money. In the end, Englehart produced a design within our budget and that met our design brief. The building process was generally very smooth. Apart from some initial unforeseen site costs due to a very challenging block, the build was completed on time and on budget. The tradesmen employed were professionals and experienced. It was clearly evident that Englehart homes has access to quality trades and don't cut corners by employing persons that cannot met their quality assurance processes. The site supervisor was pleasant to deal with and kept us informed of the progress of the build, inviting our feedback as required. The supervisor always answered any questions or concerns that we had and encouraged several on site meeting with various trades including tilers, electricians and cabinet makers to discuss various options available. Two weeks prior to handover, I met with the construction manager and supervisor to inspect the home. As we walked through the home, I was impressed at the tiny details that the construction manager was picking up on including minor paint imperfections and surface scratches. Every detail and item identified was documented and rectified prior to handover. Credits were provided for works that came in under budget and only a couple of items incurred a variation cost even though we ended up with about 150 (which I am rod is quite low). Upon moving into our home, we have had a couple of minor issues. All of these were addressed immediately, with no fuss and no charge. The construction manager was outstanding in his service and attitude. I would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Englehart Homes to my family and friends. Quality finishes, excellent trades, open and transparent interactions, attention to detail. Excellent after care service.

As we built our first home with Taylor Morrison, we were excited in the beginning, but when the construction started all the surprising bills, and unexpected extra cost made our journey bitter. The company didn’t use common sense during the construction ; our investment would have been much better if they have used at least common sense with the design and construction.I would not personally recommend anyone, especially first home buyers to go with this company.

We found Davrose Homes to be very easy to deal with throughout the whole process - from sign up, to the construction, to the check in regarding 6 month post-completion maintenance. The house was completed in 6 months which exceeded our expectations. We received photo updates of each stage of construction and were very happy with the level of communication as it was reassuring to know that things were progressing according to the timelines promised. We originally thought we would drive out to the property to see the progress but there was no need for that. We were very impressed with the finished product, and the only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of flywire screens (but in hindsight we should have realised that the specifications did not allow for that). We would gladly recommend Davrose Homes and would be happy to build with them again.

Kaplan pays attention to the finer details in each one of the houses they build. The team is awesome, from Nurray to James to Warren & Avtar: You guys were always happy to help whenever we needed your expert advice and were very accomodating to last minute changes. We built 2 homes with Kaplan in 2014/5. First one because it was a house and land package, and the second one because it was the best quote for a double storey 4 bed, 2 bath, 1 garage we could find. And we were not disappointed! Both homes were built seamlessly and with quality, even with some above average fittings and upgrades thrown in by the builder. But most of, the service from Kaplan was second to none! We are usually quite critical of the service provided by most businesses, but we cannot fault them! Ben was enthusiastic and knowledgeable to deal with initially in the sales process, and James during the design and build process is exceptional, always attending to our every need! We will definitely build with them again and cannot recommend them more, in an industry which is rife with shoddy businesses, we are happy we found them!

This was our second time around building with Gallery Living (have already reviewed the first build). When we decided to build again we went straight to Gallery Living based on the strength of our first build. We had [name removed] at the Aldinga display village as our sales consultant and she was outstanding. If I was reviewing her service it would be 5 stars. She had a good design eye, was efficient, communicated clearly and the initial stages went very smoothly. Unfortunately, once [name removed] left the process we found things a lot more frustrating. The council process went really quickly (thankfully) but it then took Gallery Living quite some time to start. The communication with both the office and site staff was very inconsistent and, at times, quite unacceptable. Once the build did finally get going, the actual build time wasn't too bad. However, having now been in the place for a year, we're finding the quality not nearly as good as our first build. Some examples of this include several walls noticeably not square, poorly hung doors and external cladding that is roughly finished in several spots. The site supervisor was obviously very good, but he just wasn't involved to the same extent (too busy) as the supervisor first time around was, which has no doubt had an impact on the final product. I sent detailed feedback at the end of our build, which the general manager did reply to (for which I am grateful). Sadly though, while we love the design and functionality of the Gallery Living brand, I don't think we would use them again, unless several aspects of the current experience were improved.

From the first time visiting Bronwyn in the display home, Gallery Living really showed attention to detail bringing our vision to a reality. We chose Gallery as the Picasso matched the basic layout we were after for our North facing block. Working with Bronwyn through many iterations to get the plan just right to our requirements was nothing short of a pleasure. Bronwyn's enthusiasm for house design really showed and her advice was invaluable in providing us with an energy efficient, comfortable and practical house. We are absolutely ecstatic with the result and love our new house that feels more like a lavish hotel than a house. Reality is that no build is without its issues and ours was no different. However, you can't tell how good a company is until they deal with a problem. Whilst Andrew was sometimes hard to contact (usually a couple of days), we always had practical discussions around any issues and came to good resolutions that left us satisfied. I strongly suggest with any build that you are visiting site on a regular basis to ensure you pick up issues as they are occurring rather than a longer defect list at the end. We are very happy with the result, the quality of workmanship is very good and the few minor defects that we reported have been resolved in a timely manner. I would certainly engage Gallery Living, and in particular Bronwyn, to conduct another design and build for us. It certainly won't be for a replacement residence for us as we love this one too much, but we will certainly be working on a sub-division with them.

We met with our designer, gave him our ideas of what we fancied. Within a few days he came back with some plans, along with a few of his ideas to help individualise our home. The next stage was then our Pre start in which June was fantastic when it came to our interior design. Again we came with our ideas, and with her eye for design managed to make our completed home stunning. [name removed] to start with, then [name removed] since slab down has made our build nearly stress free. Both guys answering all questions, explaining clearly and working hard for us if any issues cropped up. Our only complaint during the build process was the communication from the office, We recieved no regular updtaes unless we actually chased up ourselves. Special thanks to [name removed], [names removed] for helping us achieve our dream home. Excellent from day one to handover. Working through the initial design process, everything was clear and upfront, no surprises, everything explained thoroughly and no false promises. During the building phase, we received regular communication, even if there was no news to report, we would still receive the call telling us how things were progressing. Quality of the build and the fixtures and fittings is spot on and any issues we had were dealt with promptly. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Aveling to anyone. Initially we decided to build with Weeks as we thought our building consultant was transparent and had built many similar houses in Blackwood Park (also our area) within the price that we were looking for. Nothing seemed too much to begin with, until we signed our second Preliminary Design Agreement, this is when like other reviews posted here our experience declined significantly and over night. We had zero communication from our Administrator, the only time we had any contact was when would chase up to see how the process was going. Firstly we were told we would have our HIA build contract within 4 weeks, after four weeks we chased up to see where we were at to be told it would be another 2 weeks over a phone conversation to be emailed a few hours later saying it would be another 4 weeks. We understand that things can run behind time but be honest about it and say it rather then to keep putting it off. During the phone conversation we were told that our plan had actually been knocked back from our encumbrance manager but that its OK because they have changed it and it has been approved subject to neighbour approval. I didn't realise that our builder, who we have employed has changed our plan with out giving us any notification or to approve the changes prior to resubmitting our plans, to then be told that "this is the way that we do things". This is a breach of contract, as we had not signed any amendments, who has to live in this house and who are your customers? we are paying for a service and product and not even getting any say. Once we found out about the changes we asked our administrator if we could see what has changed, we got sent a quarter of the whole page of our plans showing hardly anything but included something of extreme concern which is so far from what we had asked for. We asked if we could be put in touch with an engineer to speak about our concerns to be able to understand why they have done what they have done, we were told that it was of no concern, they would put the engineers in touch with us so we could express our concerns and come up with a solution, this was two months ago and we are still yet to speak to an engineer? great customer service. Finally our HIA build contract price came the week prior to Christmas and increased $60,000 from our previous quote and not including any selections! As you could imagine we were absolutely furious, my partner was phoned prior to receiving our electronic copy from Weeks Sales Coordinator and was told that it increased slightly, not 20% more then our most recent quote! Especially after our building consultant stated that he had allowed way more to our quote so that we wouldn't get a shock when our contract price arrived, that certainy didn't happen! We then tried to understand why Weeks had given us such a large increase, there wasn't any explanation at all. We spoke to our building consultant to see if he had any more insight then we did and he had the nerve to say "well you shouldn't have bought a sloped block" when he had sold it to us that this was completely do able and that he had done many similar size and even larger and complicated houses then ours in the same area for our budget. Exactly the same as other reviews below, the employees at Weeks have no shame to throw something back in their customers face. After receiving our contract we went in to see the Sales Coordinator about our concerns about engineering that still have not been resolved, how could we sign a contract for a plan we haven't seen or even approved? The Council guy that works for Weeks came to see us and we expressed our concerns, he had no idea what was going on and had no justification for everything we brought to his attention. His words were "why did they do that". Basically from that meeting we got the understanding that I don't think anyone at Weeks over looked the smaller details in the engineering but they just priced it and sent it to us, which is very poor customer service in my opinion. We finally discovered product review and wish we would have seen this earlier as we would have never gone through Weeks had we seen this earlier. We have decided to go against signing with Weeks because of the lack of customer service and communication, poor processes, no justification for an unreasonable price increase and all the reviews that are on here which are word for word the exact same as our horrid experience with Weeks. Once they get your $5,000 they do not care anymore, as I believe they have sucked people in who can not afford to lose that money. Weeks take advantage of vulnerable people, making you sign a PDA that you are not entitled to any paper work that has been done on behalf of trying to make your dream of building a home happen. Weeks would not have undertaken any work ( contours, soil report, engineers report) if we had not paid our deposits, which is actually our property under Australian Consumer Law, which all customers of Weeks should chase for as you are entitled to as we have no bargaining power as individuals unlike Weeks, to agree to take out the clause that states it is their intellectual property. I encourage anyone who is considering building with Weeks to run now! This has been an expensive lesson for us and a waste of time but I can only imagine how bad it could have gotten if we went through with building with them, once we are even more vulnerable and have no other options.

We are building our first home and were recommended by our friend to build with Weeks based on his positive experience. We were referred to Alice. We were very pleased with her professionalism, knowledge, invaluable input and answers to our many many many questions! She was absolutely amazing to point out things we didn’t think of and ideas that would benefit what we wanted. This part was quite straight forward, we liked one of the plans Weeks had and modified easily to fit our block. With Alice’s knowledge of the area (encumbrances) and inclusions we wanted – the drawing stage didn’t take long. During the admin stage we had Kevin who was extremely prompt in responding and always a delight to talk to. He followed up on ETAs and gave us updates in a timely manner. He was also very helpful in finalising our contract and understanding with our requests. The suppliers were very easy to deal with and made the selection process seamless. We were quite happy with the inclusions and in total only spent an additional $5k on upgrades. Our slab was poured on the 5th of September and we are currently waiting on the framing to be delivered. We have built 2 properties in the last two years with Integrity have had a good experience right from the concept and design stage to the very end. We were happy with their customer service and support throughout each build. We are very pleased with the designs and build quality of each property and would recommend Integrity New Homes to you if you are looking for someone to build your next home. We are now looking at our third building project in as many years and will not hesitate to use Integrity again.

We started building with Integrity New Homes Coffs Coast in June 2017 (not the new owners, the new owner is a great operator and wish him all the best), we are still not in our home and are currently going through insurance. The builder and manager were useless, never come on site, quality of work was terrible. Months went by and no one ever on site, then the manager goes overseas for 5 weeks, comes back for 3 days and goes into administration. We were constantly told lies when we could actually get a hold of people. We have paid over $500k for about $300k worth of work. Head of franchise said "nothing we can do its a franchise" we really felt let down by this attitude. They have 5 others houses left in same situation whilst changing their name to Santech Pty Ltd. They owe over 2 million dollars around our local area to trades and customers. No trades were ever paid and its looks like they never will. The new owner of new Integrity Coffs Coast is much much better and not linked to these guys at all and has helped us out, this review is of the former owners Santech Pty Ltd who were Integrity at time of contract.

At the beginning of our house building process we thought that we had to go with a custom builder to achieve the quality we wanted and to build the house we have designed together with a Designer. We therefore signed up first with Beaumonde Homes. However, the relationship with Beaumonde turned sour after our Sales contact left the company. After this experience we approached Atrium Homes before we realised that this also would not work for us in any way. Once again, we were looking for another builder which we found in Gemmill Homes. We never thought that a project builder could build us the quality home we were really after. We had quite a lot of special requests which Gemmill was able to accommodate, which was fantastic for us (e.g. Using our own earth worker, upgrade in slab footings, concrete quality and reinforcement, double glazed windows and sliding doors from our preferred supplier, installation of our supplied kitchen appliances and upgrade in wall insulation and ceiling insulation). Later, during the building process, we again realised how helpful our builder was in allowing us to complete certain items that we paid for directly before handover. Some of those items are the pool, the tiled floor, installation of roller shutters, security screens, security alarm and especially the lights throughout the entire house. The light installation was really needed to get the best quality on our ceiling insulation. This obviously saved us time and money and has also given us the overall good quality finish we were after. We are really happy with the design of our new custom-built home. It has taken us a very long time to have our dream home completed because of all the special requests we had, however, we believe that Gemmill Homes have made the dream come true. Over the entire process, we always dealt with the same competent people at Gemmill. Special thanks and credit must be given to Lindy Webb (Sales) and to James Cole (Group Construction Manager). Both of them have gone above and beyond and provided outstanding work and support on our house building project. We simply could not have done it without them. If we were to build again in the future, we would definitely engage Gemmill Homes once more, knowing that we can get a good house that is not just a copy of an existing design. It’s great to see that one does not need to go to an overpriced custom builder to get a great home with the expected high quality."

Over a period of 12 months we were able to work through the build process from display home visits to design, pre start, build and practical completion. Then entire Gemmill team were professionals with great industry knowledge that assisted our progress throughout the entire build process.We are extremely happy with the final product and the workmanship and quality displayed by the various trades employed by Gemmill was of a high standard. The build process was managed well and adhered to the communicated timings on most occasions which continued after the keys were handed over. I would highly recommend Gemmill to friends and family and offer our home as proof the workmanship and our positive experience.

Built with Medallion Homes 2008/09. Very impressed by their display homes (but beware 'what you see is not what you get'). "Free" 1st design draft & consultation but the final quote could only be given after payment of $6000 of an initial works agreement. My 2-storey house ended up costing $1963/m2 after various non-inclusions and variations (ie. 50% more, than the Grand Manor display home price we modelled & budget on, at ~450m2). Project managment: Forgotten to submit request for demolition of the pre-existing house. Forgotten to arrange the electrical work to supply cables to the new swimming pool (discovered after paving). Engineers: Provided 'routine' work. Lack of communication between Medallion and the engineers who ignored the presence of my swimming pool to be built and designed a soakage pit next to it. The engineer did not take into consideration the amount of paving I did to all my backyard. This ended up with diastrous flooding of my block during the heavy rains in 2009. Medallion, the engineers, the plumbers shifted the blame to the Landscapist. Roof: The roof leaked, damaging and soaking the kitchen (JAG had to replace a set of cupboards) and the plasterboard behind the glass splash-back. Also leaks around the bow window and 2 other spots. JAG: What would you expect to get when Medallion only paid JAG $20840 (even after our variations to upgrade to Caesarstone top and Glass splashback) to build our entire kitchen. That was 2.4% of the entire building cost we paid Medallion. Tiling: Suboptimal graded fall in a shower, with one standing in pools of water during showers. The sealant in most wet areas and some non-wet areas got mouldy within 1 year. Electrical: Was cautious of its previous legal history but turned out to be quite good work. Building on schedule once started building; punctual hand-over (48 weeks as quoted). They responded to your questions. Excellent work from site supervisor, gyprock/plastering/rendering, painter, locksmith, and thereafter the maintenance team. See above. Have major reservations re: their transparency, and value-for-money. Hopefully their new management style (and logo) helps.
