We had our 3 bed flat in SE14 valued by 4 different estate agents. 3 of which were chains, Munday's was only independent one and stood out as being the best immediately. Becky stood out from the other estate agents with her honest and kind demeanour. She didn't follow up our valuation with a gazillion emails like the others did either. Becky valued the property much higher than the other 3 and delivered. We worked with Denise who was excellent. She always responded really quickly to my queries and sold our flat within 6 weeks and £50k more than what the other 3 estate agents had valued it at. We have been recommending Munday’s to friends in the area ever since.

We had three valuations from estate agents and three quotes for doing the work. Munday's were unquestionably the sharpest and most convincing, providing a wealth of information about recent sale in the area. They then found us a potential buyer on the first day that the property went on the market and after a brief haggle we accepted an offer the following day. Support during the process up to exchange has been exemplary. Highly recommended.

Please don’t work with this company. I’m going to study my Master’s in September (London) and I trusted Amber Students and made my booking with them for a studio for 51 weeks (that’s the time my master’s last) but the agent named “Shaurya” decided to unfairly proceed with my booking for 44 weeks just because “there was no availability for 51 weeks just for 44”. He never asked if I wanted to change my contract for 44 weeks, he Never asked for permission. Now I don’t have where to live for 7 weeks. I asked if they could give me my money for my booking back and they just tell me to write to an email that never responds. They don’t care for the students, I recommend you working with “University Living” that is the business I’m working with from now on.

Being a student from India, I was a bit hesitant to pay advance to room for booking them through agents/ platforms. Siddharth from AmberStudent came up with multiple choices from the very first day. Seeing my situation and concerns that I expressed he worked through and got me a stay which doesn’t need me to pay anything in advance. Also with Covid-19 policy I got to know that even if my intake is deferred or Visa isn’t going through Cancellations would be convenient. Really a lot thanks to you Siddharth for helping me through out the process and explaining everything, even repeating answers for repeated doubts.

From the offset, the branch manager at Arden Estate Agents Rubery, Romily Adams, came across to be dynamic, confident and knowledgeable of the stock in her area. The property going on sale was the lower end of the market and non-standard construction. This did not affect the handling of the marketing, Arden Estate Agents’ confidence in securing a sale nor the way I was treated as a client. I had tried one other agent closer to the property, and they showed no interest nor confidence in taking on the property. Furthermore, the property was still tenanted when it went to market. Arden Estate Agents handled the tenant’s and my needs perfectly. I live forty minutes away from the property, and was able just to hand over the keys and let Arden’s deal with everything for a fixed price. During the Covid virus lockdown, Romily gave me her direct number and progressed the sale despite the buyer’s solicitors being less than proactive. I was able to contact her throughout the lockdown, quite often out of office hours. She showed patience, perseverance and professionalism right up to the point of completion. I would be confident to recommend Arden Estate Agents and the team at Rubery to anyone.

I've made an offer through that agency that was rejected by the landlord as he accepted another offer. Agency took a holding deposit from me to make that offer, and they haven't returned it back. Already 2 weeks gone, and they always just answering that they've processed the refund and I'll get it but nothing really happens. They refuse to send any proof of sending the refund.

Karl Graham worked as my agent when selling my flat, which sold this week. It was a long and protracted sale and during the whole process Karl kept me fully informed and liaised between myself and the buyer whenever needed. When things needed chased, Karl chased! He was accessible at all times. As I live in Manchester, and my flat was in London, Karl very kindly kept me updated with meter readings and post collection which was way above and beyond what would be expected and I was extremely grateful to him for that. I have had all 4 of my investment properties with Central Housing now for coming up to 15 years, which I bought to provide me with a retirement income. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them as a fantastic agent. Professional and personal service...I viewed many houses through private and other student let’s but my experience with them was not the same as Chester Student Lets. I had a meeting with a friendly and lovely lady called Miriam, I explained my maximum costs and what exactly I wanted. I viewed two houses with Chester student let’s which were by main campus which was even handier!! I told Miriam I wanted something modern, nice and affordable and it’s exactly what I found. My views and opinions were considered and this made viewings houses during exam season a lot less stressful. I definitely recommend Chester student let’s.

Postgraduate student This is my 1st experiance with Chester Student lets and they have been fantastic in a number of areas. Any maintanence requests have been completed within the allocated time and on several occasions the same day! Both Tracy and Vicky were fantastic too at responding to any queries I had and dealing with issues which arose with the house. They helped me in any way they could which in my veiw was going above and beyond what you would expect from a letting agency. I would highly recommend this company if you are studying at chester.

Since it is a know fact that finding a house in Hamburg is not an easy task, and being a newbie here and not aware of this fact, we booked an Airbnb for only 17 days when we first landed in the city. Going for the first apartment viewing for an unfurnished flat, was a nightmare to me and then and there I decided we will going with furnished flats. Obviously City Wohnen is best portal to find furnished and semi-furnished apartments, and we could actually move-in to one of the apartments that suited our needs perfectly within 6 days. Right for the lease preparation (in dual languages) to the settlement of deposit and first month rent, everything went as smooth as silk. The staff is utterly helping and quick. I will definitely recommend it to all apartment hunters in Hamburg if you have busy life and no time to manage all the house related chores on your own. Let City Wohnen take care for you.

Rented an apartment from them for just over 18 months in Vesterbro. I actually found their rates quite reasonable for location and size. No major issues, and responded quickly if there was an issue. For example, dishwasher broke down, replaced with a brand new one within a week. Full deposit returned minus an adjustment for the final heating bill. Seems like they have improved their service based on earlier reviews.

I have been looking for a new place since November last year at a slower pace and then quite intense since end of December. For this period I have been able to observe how is the market for renting behaving. City apartments offer fully furnished, very functional apartments located in attractive areas. Compared to another agency that are offering both to buy and to rent I found out that City appartements have not only better prices, but are also more flexible and more client oriented.

I urgently needed to rent a service apartment in London for a few months. I initially went with an Airbnb for two weeks, then another service apt company for one week, then finally Citybase. Out of the three companies, Citybase was the most professional with the best maintained flat. Alistair Macnaghten was extremely responsive and professional. He took in my needs and tried to accommodate the best he could.The flat that Alistair arranged was well maintained, clean, and even repaired in timely manner when the smoke alarm went off on a Sunday. I LOVE the Sterling this was my second stay in Clive, IA. But this time my tub had a black ring around it, the phone did not work, but, by tapping on the hang-up button I reached another room. The refrigerator and freezer were dirty, the kitchen facet moved around and the carpet was half clean. The bed looked clean. But i will stay again.

Bought a house a few months ago from Countryside. I was expecting it will be of the same or better quality as my previous home which was also built by Countryside about 20 years ago. However, since I moved in it has been a nightmare. I have done my own snaggings (so I am not an expert) and so far reported close to 200 snaggings. The workmenship is terrible. It's frustrating, time-consuming and a waste of time trying to get snaggings resolved, because the Customer Care department hardly responds to any emails, any responses are provided after many, many follow-up emails, can't reach them via phone, escalations to their manager are pointless. Never ever buying again from them and not recommending anyone to buy. I would have given 0 stars, so being very generous giving it 1 star.

Countryside sold my own property through 'House to Home' in just over a week which enabled me to reserve my plot on Countryside Properties Abbostfield development. The whole process has been great, even though everything went on a go slow during the COVID pandemic, Lisa, Tara and Team were brilliant. Every business involved in the process kept the sale and purchase moving and ensured that everything was in place so that we were all ready to proceed once lockdown restrictions were eased. Finally I exchanged and completed in May 20! No business or purchaser has been faced with such unprecedented challenges but Countryside and House to Home have pulled it off.

We came to the know about the XAPCreditSolution at Gmail dot Com from a Real Estate friend of Danny’s from his Fantasy Football League. Danny was telling him about us wanting to get out of his mom’s house and into a single-family development being built near the high school. Roman, told Danny he had a client with real bad credit like 400 get it up to 775 on his fico with XAP credit repair company in a week. Well, we signed up in January and Danny’s score got us qualified with credit union for the mortgage. I am writing this to tell everyone to use this service and because they will give us $50 credit for referral credits toward our bill. We are referring 2 more people next week.

Horrendous, lazy agents. Great sales pitch from Leeanna up front, which is the only time you'll deal with her - Once she's "closed you" by giving you stories about her lesbian pregnancy journey to make you feel you've built up a meaningful relationship, she's on to the next victim. The staff have no respect for your property - "Don't worry about taking off your shoes" - Do the bare minimum to get by and then when you get a buyer the progression are all part time with an abundance of annual leave! An absolute nightmare for continuity! I can't believe the audacity, and if you need to express that you're unhappy they leave you waiting forever for replies and just don't care! Please use someone else, save yourself the pain.. Choosing the right agent is as important as choosing the right solicitor, it would be a mistake to choose Cubitt & West. Beware the fake reviews on here making them look better than they are. When questioned I'm sure they'll say this is false - Happy to share my experience with you in more detail if it helps you avoid making the wrong decision..

They removed all the objects we asked for, plus a couple of extra items we'd long forgotten about. At all times, they were polite and quietly efficient, we would not hesitate to recommend them. Cullens Clearances Ltd are a company of highly professional, qualified, friendly, competent, staff who are generally wonderful They did a great job of clearing my mother's flat today, (this morning). They arrived on time, precisely as planned, at 09:00 hrs. There was so much hard work and they did everything perfectly. They were polite, courteous, honest, really hard working, Mike and Charlie - two lovely young chaps - they were first. Later two more staff arrived, Cain and Jamie and they carried on with the furniture. We as a family had prepared by emptying all the cupboards, bookcases, wardrobes, cabinets, chests of drawers and filled up lots of black/blue bags which the team said was helpful. They were wonderful and I would recommend Cullens Clearances Ltd to anyone who has to go what we went through. They finished the job within time scales -about 3 1/2 hours or so. It was a difficult job but they were tough and worked really hard. I am so grateful to the company and the great people who work at Cullens Clearances and would recommend them to all my friends" THANK YOU

Not genuine not honest not reliable not professional not mature Dexters office in Acton is full of very young not well trained not professional people that do NOT even pass offers to vendors nor deal with the offers in professional ways, they rejected my offer on a house (without getting back to the owner) but they accepted another one SAME figure as mine from another buyer ...why????

Having used a number of estate agents over the years, City and County certainly stood way beyond the standard that I have previously experienced. Viewings well organised and communicated. Found a buyer very quickly and negotiated a good price on our behalf, particularly against our challenging remit of emigrating to New Zealand. Once the deal was struck, followed up by progressing the sale to completion, again with excellent communication. I can't think of a bad point to make and would recommend using C&C to anyone considering going on the market. Many thanks to all concerned at C&C for a thoroughly professional service.

Preparing for our return to the UK after nearly 20 years overseas we wanted to sell our former family home before moving back. As our tenants weren’t to depart until July 1st we knew, especially with such turbulence around Brexit, that we needed someone we could trust to work for us and understand the difficulties posed by us not being present. Realistic pricing was key and here we had a frank and very informative call with Craig and we were very comfortable with the advice offered which we followed. A few days before our Tenant moved out Ann advised that she had a family who she knew would be interested and that the “chain” would be very short. Sounding promising, Ann accompanied the prospective buyers around even as our tenants were leaving and the deal was agreed there and then. Less than two months later all Contracts are signed. Perfect. Couldn’t have been better and the hassle of managing an empty property from Overseas over. Ann was “above and beyond “ keeping an eye on the property and nothing was too much trouble and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Again having regular feedback was so important and here Debbie was so professional. Thank you very much. Having imagined all the things that were likely to happen when selling we are pinching ourselves how seamlessly everything worked. So DM & Co thanks a million, you deserve all the success that will come your way. Finally here’s hoping that the family moving in are so happy in their new home.

I recently asked this company to review my solar panels which had been installed for over 8 years. A local representative arrived and was very thorough in explaining what he was checking and why. Unfortunately when we got into the loft my inverter had stopped working and needed to be replaced. The rep then went through my options and how the system could be upgraded. with connecting the panels and a battery. My system was seen to very quickly and is working better than ever. The battery also means that my use of electricity from the grid has fallen . All the people from this company have been very polite and efficient, answered all my queries quickly and the service has been great. I highly recommend them. Annette Stabb

Megan Cummings the letting manager at Peter Alan is useless Megan Cummings the letting manager at Peter Alan is a useless sack of body fluids, the regional manager Benjamin Jones is just as bad, he seems too scared to call you back or just too lazy too do his job. Who at Peter Alan is employing these goons?? When i call these things i sometimes wonder if ive got a crossed line with Fraggle Rock, I have never dealt with such a fraudulent, lying, useless bunch of morons as Peter Alan before. Landlords avoid Peter Alan at all costs. Below is a few of the many issues i have had with Peter Alan 1)Peter Alan lie to Landords about tenants financial circumstances just so Landlords have to pay them the £400 tenant find fee. Peter Alan told me the tenants rent was guaranteed by Cardiff Council and then moved in someone who didnt pay. When you complain to Peter Alan that you are not receiving the rent theyPeter Alan said was guaranteed Peter Alan just cancel the management of the property with immediate effect just so they dont have to deal with it. 2) Peter Alan estate agents withheld rent money from me and i had to issue legal paperwork to Peter Alan to get the money that was rightfully mine. 3) Megan Cummings at Peter Alan refused to post out the keys for my properties for 6 months 4) Peter Alan lost the keys for one of my properties and I had to issue a county court summons to reclaim the cost of the locksmith Peter Alan refused to repay this for over 6 months and Peter Alan estate agents only paid after i issued a court summons. 4) Peter Alan dont pay their subcontractors who do work for them for 6 months. 5) When offers of rent payments are made Peter Alan dont call back to arrange the payments leaving the Landlord out of pocket. Landlords do not trust Peter Alan with your properties.

Thanks to Tom's excellent care and communications in the Pinewood Chesterfield Office, we managed to stay patient and we were very grateful after a vendor accepted a cash offer / no chain offer and then spent many months in a chain we had not agreed to - that was very problematical and confounded by some rather poor solicitors.

Manager Jason did good job in terms of providing detailed information and negotiating on our behalf and can’t complain about his level of service. However Stonebow law services were up sold to us and they by far are the worst solicitors I have had misfortune to be involved with. No one covering staff holidays and sick has led to move being delayed by weeks. Lastly the aftercare provided by Pygott was poor, house we were purchasing from your move and they were chasing our solicitors, house that purchasing solicitors were chased etc. Your moves after care was fantastic and without a doubt helped us to speed up the process unlike Pygott after care staff.

Apt was clean and the location was excellent, in the heart of the action but quiet at night. Unfortunately boiler broke down on final morning and no-one available to deal with it, information in folder in flat was out of date. We were asked to strip beds before departure, not a problem but the duvet, mattress and super thin pillows that were revealed had all seen better days.

Lovely spacious apartment with quality fixtures and fitting and a very comfy bed, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, easy bus ride to town centre or a pleasant 20 min walk, Marc is a very helpful chap and the welcome pack is a nice touch .

Sutton Coldfield branch So I went to move in to my flat after finalising all the paper work and paying my deposit only to get there to find out there was now running hot water and no heating in the property so I contacted them to see what we could do about it and they sent a very rude contractor out who spoke to me rudely and insisted the property was up to scratch when it clearly wasn’t I contacted Martin and co to inform them I no longer wanted the property as I hadn’t even moved in when I discovered the all problems and he told me the deposit may not be returned to me because I had signed a contract after telling them a thousand times I wasn’t taking no for and answer they told me they would refund in full but the way they treat their customers is vile plus I wouldn’t even let my dog live in the property and they think they can justify treating people they way they have treated me luckily I will have my money back but please avoid like the plague
