From the first day we walked into the SJD display home and met our consultant Kevin, to receiving our keys from site supervisor Kim, SJD were incredibly flexible, supporting, thoughtful and professional throughout our whole design to build process. As we already had land and an idea for our build, the process for us was more about getting the house plans perfect for our 4 acre block. We were able to bounce ideas off Kevin who clearly had a lot of experience in design and layouts for houses and completely understood our brief. The design stage took close to 12 months but that was mainly for the sake of double checking every fine detail and adding things within our budget. SJD had a great choice of standard inclusions, making us feel like it wasn't necessary to spend up big on upgrades. We however did upgrade a few things and were pleasantly surprised with how cost efficient these all were. Onto to build stage, with some hiccups caused by weather and adding a nice challenge on a sloping block. After a 9 week weather delay the site cut was rectified and just like that we were out of the ground. Kim kept us in the loop with all the happenings in the early stages of the build which was great. It was incredibly impressive to see how fast and the level of finish the trades had. Along the way Kim was more than happy for my wife and I to not only meet with him on site to discuss issues or concerns but also with trades to make sure we were all on the same page. This was incredibly beneficial to us with the tiling layout for our ensuite and bathroom and also the feature cultured stone pillar on our facade. The outcome of both of these were top class and we are so happy we had the opportunity to meet the trades to discuss all the options and our vision. Over all the experience has been great, we always felt that SJD truly understood how much this house meant to us especially being our first home. Both Kevin and Kim went above and beyond across the entire process. Now we're settling in we are incredibly happy with the finished product.

We first met Rachel in January 2019 armed with a sketch and a dream of what our new house would look like. Rachel spend many hours turning that sketch into a fantastic house plan. When construction started, our building supervisor Brad Little was all over it. He always kept in contact updating us of the progress and ensuring that the built met our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for Brad, he was very patient and understanding and we loved the fact that he was very particular about maintaining a high standard finish. Both Rachel and Brad are a credit to SJD Homes and the building industry. Everyone we dealt with at SJD Homes from Rachel, Brad, Leah and the ladies in the office were polite, engaging and highly professional. My Partner and I were looking to start building our first ever home, after many months of searching we decided that we would build with Domaine. Our first experience at the oran park office was great, we met Toby who was very professional, honest and genuine with our interests. From the get go was very helpful and tried to always cater for our needs and wants. After many meetings and phone calls with Toby, who is always contactable and provides exceptional advice we were finally able to build the home we wanted. Me and my partner would have no troubles recommending Domaine Homes, specifically Toby at oran park who made the whole process smooth and a little less daunting.If anyone is looking to build with Domaine Homes I would gladly recommend them to Toby. As we have not yet started building we have no doubt the rest the construction phase of this journey goes smoothly and without hassle. I'm sure that the quality and professionalism with continue to live upto our expectation based on the fantastic service we have received so far.

Our construction started in April 2017. Due to a design flaw which was blamed on us construction was stopped at our request and new plans drawn up at our expense and approved. Approval given in July 2017, we didn’t get the keys until August 2018 (26 week build expected). Our windows at the front and rear are off centre - we didn’t change them, just how they were drawn up. Again our fault for not noticing. Floor tiles were badly scratched, some replaced. Very poor quality tile but surely they should have been protected until handover. Alfresco doors should have been cavity sliders as per design....this issue caused a stop work until agreement was reached. The build took that long our neighbours thought we’d changed builders. Trades were rarely there. When they were there supervision was rare. We got very few weekly updates...mostly it was us chasing them on progress. Understandable given there was often very little to tell us. I would not recommend Stroud if you are doing a knock down rebuild in an established area. Different if you’re in a new estate area where trades are always around. I would also not recommend changing their designs. While our changes were accepted without hesitation it became clear that those changes were to become the core of our problems. We were told the plan was structurally sound yet had to omit a sliding door due to structural concerns. We later discovered that the problem was that the slider had gone in the wrong way. I now have a door I didn’t want and an alarm pad and switches on a wall we didn’t want. Not a huge issue but a constant reminder of our dilemmas. We also have a steel beam crossing our ceiling which had to be boxed in, so is now noticeable rather than being enclosed in the gap between the two floors. This is not how the house design is shown and we never really got an answer as to why that’s how it ended up. Yes, the steel beam is essential for the design but why isn’t it noticeable in the display home? Again, just another reminder of our dramas. We did receive very good assistance from head office when trying to resolve issues and move along our build. We met Ben at handover....what a shame he wasn’t our site supervisor....I think we would have had a very different experience. We also love the design of our Kirra home. What started out with such wonderful promise became a period of great stress for both parties. Everyone I’m sure was very glad to see those keys finally handed over. We eventually had the last of our maintenance issues resolved in August 2019. The anger and disappointments have abated with both sides having come out tired but wiser.

From the very moment we walked into the display home at Springfield and spoke to Jason - we knew without an iota of doubt that we were in good hands and our choice to build with Stroud Home Brisbane West has been one without regret. Being our first home build, we were nervous and naive about the whole build process especially when you hear stories of friends who have gone through this process with other builders. But when we outlined our expectation and time line to Jason he was able to come to the table with a package that suited our budget and needs. Our house was completed in record time from early August to December 2019 to ensure we celebrated Christmas in our own home- That was one of our check lists. The choice of materials used was of high quality and premium selections that were classified as extras by other builders were treated as standard by the Stroud Team at no extra cost. The weekly calls and emails to provide project updates was welcomed and made us feel part of the whole build process. It also ensured where design outcomes were not in line with our expectation was quickly rectified without delay and at no cost. After we moved in and over the Christmas holidays, we had issues with the landscape work which technically was not part of the build but once again the staff at Stroud where all over this. They owned it and coordinated with the relevant people to address the very few post construction issues that came up. When it comes to the cost for the build, they were true to their word. Their quote is "Black and White". There was no additional cost to what was contracted even though we made some variations to the build plan along the way. The team at Stroud- Brisbane West were very understanding and treated our build as individual and unique and not just a number which is very rare in this day and age. I thank the team at Stroud- Brisbane West to mention in particular; Jason the franchise owner, Josh who help with the estimates, Michael & Luke the project managers, and Karren the accounts officer- you are such a lovely bunch. I was looking to build a new home and met Sam Gusic the B1 sales representative at the Brabham display. Sam is such an asset to B1 Homes as he was always there to answer any questions required and nothing was ever too much trouble, he is 100% customer focused and always a phone call away for any small problems to be sorted. I would recommend Sam to anyone who is thinking of building a new home. The Pre Start and Administration team at B1 Pam, Jessica and Erin were always on hand during my build process doing a great job answering my enquiries. My building supervisor Gavin was great, he has a great attention to detail and he is very experienced within the building industry and there were very few small issues that he always sorted promptly. The result of the B1 team has given me a great new home with excellent finishes and I am very happy to have built with B1 Homes.

This is my first house and my previous builder went bankrupt. So, I am grateful that I decided to continue with B1 homes. The customer liaison person (Jessica) was very helpful and promptly answered my many emails. The site supervisor (Gav) I met with a few times was great and fixed all the small problems I found. The minor issues I have had was dealt with swiftly and professionally. Some minor frustrations at times with communication. However, a very minimal amount of issues at PCI and clear that the workmanship and build quality of the property were really good. I would definitely recommend B1 Homes to anyone decided to build. The quality of our home is excellent and the whole crew at True Value Homes has been fantastic to work. From the moment we met with Frank and Vince, the colours and materials selection with Jess, the great support and customer service from Amy and Natalie, through to the walk through with Rob and the great detail to attention from Jason, it has been nothing short of amazing. I traveled to Melbourne, the world’s most livable city in the world around a year ago. During that week, I came the idea of buying a house for holiday and retirement. I looked for a few house and land packages through real estate agents but couldn’t make my mind of going ahead. The reason was because of the price, and also the way it worked. As I know the whole building process would take a while and would be more complicated, I preferred to have the direct contact with the builder. Then I met the Chinese consultant from True Value Homes, who took me to purchase the land and we signed up on building as well in the next day. Not like the other builders’ which made a lot of upgrading in the displays, their display house at Gateway estate is quite standard but decent, which I believe was good enough for a holiday house. After I went back to China, we kept in contact via emails and web chat. The whole process was going smoothly as everything got sorted efficiently. The communication was so clear and easy and I had always been building up trust with them. When the construction started, they always sent updates to me almost every week to keep me in the loop. And at the end of each stage I would receive photos of my house. The handover was brought forward around 2 months ahead. On the day of handover, I came to Melbourne in person, and ordered furniture from Ikea. What made me so happy was the house was completely ready to move in with oven and hot water ready. So I lived in the house on the day. The finishes were fantastic and the quality was the same as their display home. I would like to thank all True Value Homes staff and recommend them to any overseas buyers like me who wants to get a hassle free experience in building in Melbourne.

This build - in a Heritage Area, in a northerly Council, Perth WA was long, complicated and I'd never recommend to anyone - unless they get help from an accomplished builder like 101 Residential. They came up with the best plan for our block (out of 6 others) that was on budget with the additions we expected. Other builders were simply on a 'selling mission' and didn't listen to our basic remit, others simply didn't have a clue where to start with getting Shire Approval, etc. 101 helped get the plans approved in spite of the heavy resistance and ineptitude from the Council. Our build process was smooth and the finished product is professional and met our expectation. We're now about to move in - and we are really happy with our lovely house that already feels like home and we can't wait to really move in and live there. We don't believe we'd have got a better deal for a brick and concrete house, for the quality, hassle, location (on lane way), size, etc. from another Perth builder. Throughout the build 101 staff were helpful and positive which helped keep the whole thing on track and moving forward. We'd definitely recommend 101 Residential and we'd definitely go to them first if there was ever a 'next time' - although we'd never do something like this again if we ever knew the incompetence of the Council we had to deal with.

After a 5 year battle it seems that just a 1 positive phone call could resolve some clarity and hopefully change my mind in 101 Hopefully 101 and this build has made a turn for the good and my house will be my home. I will endeavour to update this and see how it goes.

Building with Smart Homes has been amazing journey although there was a slight hiccup in design at the beginning due to council rejection (Ivano, my consultant did his best and put up a good fight to convince the council), the special custom design redesign turned out to be better and create more space in the house. From slab down to practical completion inspection, the build quality was top-notch - no major faults found by my independent building inspector and minor fixes spotted during each phase were rectified immediately by site supervisor, Tony. Building inspector gave a 'Pretty Good' during PCI. Build took 21 weeks, very impressed with the progress and handover was done without any issues. Love the 'smart doorbell' gift :) Very happy with the flexibility, top quality selections (flooring/tiles/tapwares/sink/basin) and brands (Miele) provided by Smart Homes - many options available to make a designer home. The inclusions are amazingly valued compared to other builders. The team (Ivano, Sarah, Kylie and Tony) are awesome people to work with, they listened and put in more than 100% to make my dream home a success. My questions were always answered with detailed explanation and honesty and suggestions were always provided when needed. We are so impressed with the experience that we are building again with Smart Homes for our home down south! For those who are thinking of building with Smarts, I highly recommend Team Smarts!!!

Smart Homes have helped us over the last 2 years, from getting our finances right to helping us when we were knocked back on valuation. They have been very patient throughout the whole process and have helped us to finally get us to the building stage where we are early to mid build. We are looking forward to finally being in our own home and could not recommend any other builder while Smart Homes For Living are around. If there is anyone that is struggling to find a builder to go with their first build, go with Smart Homes For Living as they will look after you and you won't regret it.

We built our first dream duplex home with Better Built Homes probably theirs too, completed just over 1 year ago and settled in well. As it was our first home and that too a duplex; I had to do a lot of homework, later found many builder's don’t do duplex it was disappointing for me then my colleague found better built homes based on their good reviews in productreview.com so first of all thanks to productreview.com for helping us to find this builder. Then I and my friend met Aaron from the initial meeting with the owner of the company we felt very welcome, comfortable and confident and knew we will be building with better built homes and we both ended up building with BB Homes. We both don’t regret the decision and in fact, it turned out to be one of the best decision I have ever made hence a big thanks to Aaron. Then our journey was as usual; it was pleasant; had some hiccups from council later from the bank because of under-valuation. That was the most stressful time during our entire project. I was dealing with Bianca from BB Home at that time and she understood my situation and happy to wait for me to arrange the adequate fund and resolve the problem. I was under tremendous pressure and I was not in any position to take any more pressure from the builder and they supported me well during my difficult time hence a big thanks to Bianca. Mine was a custom duplex and also there was no cost variation during the course of construction which helped us to stick to the budget; the project completed in about 9 to 10 months as planned and that was surprising because I know some other builders take 18 months to complete custom duplex. Since I built two I may not go again soon but if I do I will definitely choose Better Build Homes. Thanks once again Aaron, Anthony, Bianca, Michael & The Better Built Team.

We are currently building our first home with better built and perfection in everything is what we have experienced so far. Better built homes has an excellent team that makes the process of building a new home very pleasant. I am at present in the third phase of the project and so far we have no issues at all. We will write more about the builder as our home progresses.

Worst builder in the construction industry. No response to email, does not deliver on their mark up plans, yes yes yes before you pay the $1888 deposit, 3 months later, no we can't do that , no we can't do this. Then why was the mark up plan given to me in the first place and all the quotes from their head office for this and that. And then you asked for your money back, they said no. Going to consumer affairs and also VCAT to get my money back regardless of time frame. Dont care how long it takes to get my money back, I will come for it

Buyer beware! the company will change house plans without your knowledge, en-suite is 775 instead of 1200 as per display claiming because of the facade the master is smaller I chose I have lost 300 from master bedroom, never given a choice, master door open over 3/4 doorway over walk in robe door, moved walls and changed alfresco door placement, I have asked the supervisor to change the front of the island bench as it’s in two pieces with a 3mm gap, supervisor claims it can’t be done yet a Eight home client with a longer bench can be, I paid extra for double doors and hinges can’t be changed to open all the way, vanity drawers losing 100mm shower base is not 900mm, power points are missing, using eight plus pack and paid over $500 each for shower screens that should be included, from slab bathtub full of rubbish, not cleaned, pipe bulging out of the wall, calls emails ignored, having to call the office to get some kind of response, terrible service, terrible finish, I have paid all but the last payment and roof not finished and other parts of the home paid for. Bad luck signed a sneaky contract, told building to contract and smaller again. False advertising stated that the s one fits on a 12.5 width block

Never deal with mojo. They promise many things in the initial stages just to make us pay the deposit. Once the deposit is paid, they just don't stick to their promise. They schedule meetings and don't make a proper note of what is being requested which delays everything! Finally they show it up as a customer problem and will send an email saying the job is cancelled. There are fantastic customer builders around and we can work with peace of mind with them rather than working with the so called big builders like "MOJO".I would never suggest Mojo to anyone!

The poor rating is for the service. On the day we collected our keys the supervisor said to us ‘ I was suppose to bring you a hose warming gift but I couldn’t be bothered ? We paid extra for our driveway to be glazed, we are still waiting and that was 7 months ago. The inside painting is very sub standard. Painted by an non English speaking Asian company, pretty sure it was sprayed on not brushed. Three coats, my ass. As it was our first new home to be built we had no idea on looking at plans, we now have a lounge room so small it fits a lounge in. The main bedroom is bigger than our lounge room? The kitchen cupboards are so high up I can’t use them? At the end of the day make sure you upgrade everything as the stuff they use to decorate your home is cheap and nasty. You will pay so much more for the upgrades, probably 3 times more than the shops but do it. Now I need to go to Fair trading because of principle. Just glaze our damn driveway, it’s not rocket science. To be fair, when I complained enough times they sent out a company to acid wash our driveway and they said they would be back in a couple of days to glaze it. They taped off our driveway and said Don’t drive on it. That was a frighan month ago, they never came back. WAITING

As very nervous first home builders we were doing our rounds at display homes and we met Wanda Chan at one of Redink's display homes. She instantly became our friend and it was an easy decision for us to go ahead with Redink Homes. Wanda went above and beyond to design our dream home making sure that all requirements are captured and her attention to detail is second to none. Our build with Redink Homes has been a smooth one thanks to a very talented team. Our client liaison Chelsea who has been very wonderful and kind during the entire process, making sure everything is communicated to us at the right time. Special shout out to Karl our building supervisor, a very talented guy who made sure every little detail was completed and the quality of the build was maintained throughout. We had a fantastic experience with Redink and there were no delays or issues. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redink Homes to anyone looking for a stress-free building experience. We cant wait to enjoy our new home!

From the time that we first walked into a display home and meet our design consultant, Ben, they made us feel a part of the Redink family. They told us from the onset what we need to do. They help us design our home to want we wanted, not what they have. We were able to change the design the house to our needs not them. They listened to what we needed in our home and help us with the choosing of the land from the start. They help us sort through the finance with our new loan. Nothing was too hard for them. The Pre start was quite an easy process with Redink. Again they listen to what we were after and what they needed to sell. During the building stage of our journey, we were kept up to date with emails through the whole build. Dave was pleasure to have a supervisor who treated our home as if was his own home been built. Madison who is our client Liaison, made the last part of our build and handover with us stress free. I have heard all the stories of bad building experiences but with Redink it did not happen at all.

From the day first I was impressed with the way of their professional attitude and customer support. During construction time I was in contact with Joe the Supervisor who was there to help anytime I want and answer as much as questions I asked. I am really happy with the home design and the construction they have done. I am currently living in my new home and impressed with their building capabilities. No need to worry about the quality of the product they are using. Home is handed over, in the same way, they showed me in the start and with the same quality of the material, they used in display homes. Timelines of construction were clearly defined and communicated and completed ahead of time

Our 2 storey(Rayna 21) took almost 8 months to be built. Everything was right on time. Dane Brown our supervisor was everything anyone would want in a building supervisor. Every efficient, clean finish and smart building. I have mentioned few minor things that needed to be cleaned in the practical completion stage, and they were all done. We had no issues whatsoever. We did not pay any cent extra than what they mentioned at first.

Would just like to say a massive Thank you to Andrew Campbell and the team at Aussie Living We met a few builders before going with Andrew. He explained the contract thoroughly before we signed anything, he was very thorough and open about the process so we were confident moving forward. Our whole process started in March and we now have the keys to a beautiful home at the end of November everything went really fast. With great communication from start to finish Aussie living team was easy to approach with questions and the answers were open and honest Super stocked with the whole process.

Aussie living have been great in helping and guide me through this experience. Kirk was very helpful at the start and he guided me down the right pathway and helped me create my first home. The construction process was hassle free with Simon being very thorough throughout every meeting. I appreciated the weekly updates and wasn’t disappointed at practical completion. Highly recommend Aussie Living for anyone wanting to build.

I have been dealing with [name removed] from New Choice for a few months. At first I was told never to trust a sales person and I thought [name removed] was different. [name removed] was made very clear of my situation and on a number of occasions I reconfirmed with [name removed] that I would not be liable for any other fee’s except loosing the deposit if I had finance difficulties as I had heard a number of stories before. Now New Choice are trying to make me pay them another $2000 on top of the $1500 deposit I paid them. Not only that the original plan was very basic with a kitchen with only 2 cupboards and draws and then wanted me to pay extra to add in more cabinets etc. New choice are just trying to scam their customers for as much money as they can get. I would not recommend them to anyone. They have made my first home experience a nightmare.

I would recommend NCH to build your new home, i would certainly use NCH again from the initial decision to use them (did my homework and had quotes from min 6 other builders) they were fantastic, the cost was competitive and so was the design of the plans that were spot on. They worked in conjunction with the lender, council and the strata companies to ensure everything went smoothly. The specs were high and the build quality as i would expect from a competent builder. All the staff right from the planners, pre start, liaison managers and site supervisor were very helpful and accommodating with no issues that couldn't be sorted out. Overall i am extremely happy with the outcome of the build. Thank you.

Building Permit: 8934713515349 Contract: 696969 Site Supervisor: [name removed] We would like to thank our site supervisor [name removed] for his professionalism and his attention to detail during the build of our Metro 32 home. This was the first time we have built a new home and having [name removed] as our site supervisor gave us level of comfort and he had our trust throughout the entire build. [name removed] gives 110% and treats his builds as if it was his own house. If there was an issue, he would make sure it was fixed/rectified as soon as possible. His daily communication during the building process was very much appreciated as we knew what was happening on site at all times. We are very grateful that [name removed] was assigned to our build as he made the whole process very enjoyable for us and we are thrilled with our new home. We would also like to thank the various different customer support & building support co-ordinators we had throughout the build. 5 out of 5 stars for [name removed] communication, attention to detail and positive attitude towards during our build!

[name removed] was my site manager for 2 new builds with Metricon, he did an absolute awesome job, a very dedicated and personable individual. I was kept regularly updated on progress, everything was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend [name removed] as a site manager, one very happy customer. Thanks [name removed] and Metricon, I would definitely use Metricon again.

After waiting for over 6 months to get our DA approved from council, we are finally ready to commence construction with Rawson. We have been through all pre construction phases from quote, contract, colour and selection process and now finally off to construction. We have been really well communicated with to date and in particular by Melissa who has simply been wonderful with her patience in our million questions as well as her proactive follow up along the way.

Just like any novice and first home hunter, we went to Homeworld at both Kellyville and Leppington. After browsing through all the display homes and discussions with each of the builders there, we narrowed down to Rawson Homes to build our first home. Ton at Leppington Homeworld was really helpful and helped us a lot in understanding the entire process and always made sure to address all our concerns. He was an excellent New Home Sales Consultant and never rushed on doing things which was a Key point for us to proceed ahead with him. We discussed all our ideas and were quoted a price which was within our budget and then we asked for a Tender to be prepared. Tender Presentation and Plan Presentation was arranged in a months time and then we stepped into the treacherous Pre-Construction Journey. At first, we were scared as have heard a lot of horror stories regarding the Pre-Construction Stage not only with Rawson but with other builders. We were assigned Rebecca Campbell as PCA and I can say without any doubt, she raised the bar with her customer service and made sure we were provided each and every update with the Pre-Construction phase Today we hit a massive milestone & were handed over to construction. Without our PCA’s expert guidance, cheery assistance, determined support & professionalism we may not have got here. Our experience on this journey, dealing with Rebecca has been exemplary & she is a credit to Rawson Homes. Pre-construction issues were addressed immediately & we were advised promptly on a course of action. She helped us out during the entire journey, communicated regularly & was always on the end of a phone or an email for us. A big thank you from us, & we hope that management of the next stage into construction goes as well as it has so far.

This journey was started more than a year ago when the sales rep from Go Homes was highly motivated to get the customers. First couple of months drawing the sketches was all part of fun. Being an engineer, I have drawn the sketch to scale so that Go Homes draftee can draw it with an ease. There were errors and omissions most of the time on the drawings which I highlight again for them to consider in revised plan. When the plan was not even drawn there was a push to sign the prelim-contract always. There were some inclusions that were mentioned early during the design process but were not included in the prelim contract so I was hesitant to sign the prelim contract. The Site works were estimated to be $25k at prelim stage. Discussing it further, I have found out all the obligations were put back on to owners/us such that they will complete the easy part and other not that easy part such as removal of existing fence was not included in price. Anyhow, cut long story to short, I had to do some of the site works done myself so that they can commence the works. I have asked them to price me fixed price on site works cost, after feasibility they have increased the site works cost to almost double. During this stage, there were several times (more than 50% of times as an average), the emails and clarifications sent to them were ignored. Sales rep until now was helpful to keep the file moving forward. Prelim contract/inclusions was signed with anticipating dates of completion within 24 to 26 weeks (March 2020). I had to write several emails every week to ask them to correct the drawings and the contract inclusions that I have been priced for but ignored in the contract. It was a challenging task to get them into the contract. The file was getting tossed between different people and departments so I had to show them evidence when the inclusions were agreed with the sales rep and where the records were kept. There was always push to sign the contract. However, drawings were never drawn correctly. The risk in this was that team building the house will work from the drawings and if the drawings are not correct it is like hood of missing the details/works done correctly at site. It was a frustrating experience so far on getting this paperwork ready. When they have drawn the drawings (to 80% correctness) and contracts this time I have signed it to keep the ball rolling. Here it comes then, once I have signed the contract I have been sent an addendum to exclude the timelines from the contract i.e. now the completion time of 24 to 26 weeks has been excluded and they have to finish the Works within 300days of commencement of works. It was Covid time now. It was almost 10 months to get the drawings and contract get to this point. I did not want to delay it further as I have wasted 10 months already, I could not afford to spend another few months with a new builder so I have signed this addendum. I have signed the contract prior to Christmas last year, around 22nd December. Apparently, Go Homes have signed 1700 houses in a month when govt was giving building grants to people. They were falling behind on schedule. Perhaps, committed to more works than they could deliver. These numbers were given by their staff members. The pre-start has now pushed out by 6 weeks from contract signed. I have prestart in first week of February where we have discussed the electrical plans and some inclusions which they have mentioned during this process that they can include in pre-start. I was certain that I need minimum changes now as any small changes can delay the works for weeks. Regardless of our plan, I believe their intention is to delay the commencement of works as much as they can, Afterall they have signed so many houses to deliver and due to limited labour supply (brick layers) they wont be able to deliver all in one year. Again, I have marked-up the drawings for them to correct in their final drawings. It was so minimal changes, these errors were picked as they were not aligned with contract inclusions. They have taken 3 iterations this time to just add couple of things in the drawing and took more than 6 weeks to fix them. Again, the intention is to push out/delay the work so that they can distribute the work over a long duration. During this stage, their contract rep was not replying to emails and giving any anticipated date on the commencement of works. The Council has provided the building permit in February. The Letter from the bank has also been updated and provided third time to them. Now, the question is when the Works will be commenced? No answer from Go Homes, It is June now three months later we have received the permits and more than 12 months of this journey. They still not giving any time when the work will be commenced. They are not sure when they can deliver the Works and the frustrating thing is they don’t even know when they can deliver. Looking at the markets, there are several other contractors who are also facing labour shortage issues but organizing their work as per norms. We have houses getting built next door from Ideal Homes, RedInk and other private contractors who have finished the works by almost 70% even they have signed the contract after the date I have signed with Go Homes. I would advise anyone reading this feedback to please google the company’s which are owned by BGC group like Go Homes and make their call wisely. There are may companies under BGC group that may share same resources and material supplier, If Go Homes are having these issues there is likelihood the other contractor under BGC umbrella having the similar issues. I have tried to cut down this story to 1/10th of the experience I had and still having with them. I would give them the following scores based on the experience I have with them so far, hopefully it improves during the construction. Design/Planning: 1 out 5. Could not draw the drawings from the marked-up sketch in more than 10 attempts. Transparency: 0 out to 5. They have only responded to may be 20% of the emails and concerns. It was a painful journey with them. Professionalism: 1 out of 5. I have received many emails with inappropriate comments from their staff, evidence can be provided. I had to escalate the issues twice with the other teams manager. I have drawn the complete sketch and they have put their Patent to it. Planning: 0 out of 5. My whole comments shows how poor they were in planning. 6 months after signing the contract still not giving any commencement dates. I doubt they can actually deliver the job. I have met some of the labours worked with them in past and now left and working with other contractors. Average score: 1 out of 5. Never using them in future.

This company has to be the Worst of the Worst the lies deception and incompetence 9 months and no slab down it’s a absolute disgrace they have cost us thousands

We built with content 4 years ago and was happy with our house the way everything went but recently we had a problem that needed to be fixed. We contacted content and they sent people out to have a look at the issue and agreed they needed to fix it and they even fixed anything that was damaged from the issue without any questions. We can't recommend content enough as they do go above and beyond to make sure they stand by there word on after market service.

An independent building inspection revealed some faults in my house 13 years after completion. Content Living had no hesitation honoring their lifetime structural guarantee to rectify these to me satisfaction. Content well beyond my expectation and I would have no hesitation in recommending them as a quality home builder that stands by their word.

Our block in Brooklyn, a sloping site with river frontage and no driveway, was bought on impulse. Being a first time 'builder' we had no idea of the complexities and approvals required for building, let alone on the waterfront. We were told Central Coast builders were better value than those from Sydney. An internet search came up with Tullipan Homes and a search of reviews indicated an especially high opinion of their ability compared to other project builders. We had ideas of the type of house we wanted. Starting with one of their project homes and after long discussions with [names removed] (and an initial knockback of our DA by Council) we ended up with an excellent custom designed house. Initially, we also had a design from another Central Coast company but we were not impressed with their concept and so stayed with Tullipan. Through [name removed], we arranged all aspectsof the building DA including the landscaping and construction of a driveway (not normally carried out by Tullipan but fortunately was part of our contract as, at a late stage of building, Council created some issues which Tullipan helped resolve). Building time was to be 12 months as it included a double brick lower level and a concrete slab for the first floorIt was fortunate that this period was allowed for as the first 3 months were plagued with heavy rainfall. We were able to move into the house at the end of 12 months. Construction was overseen by [name removed] and he proved to be extremely helpful and came up with some very positive suggestions for minor changes during construction. All construction appears to be of the highest workmaship. As expected, some minor problems had to be dealt with after occupancy. A big positive was that there was little change over the quoted price. Near the end of construction they allowed their recommended landscaper, [name removed] of Habitat Landscapes to do a large part of the landscaping which was a major cost saver and as well as doing a very good job it was done at a reasonable price. During the whole period, which stretched over nearly 2 years, we found that both [names removed], as well as their ancillary staff, were very helpful and courteous. Sub contractors were overall very good. We can thoroughly recommend Galley Kitchens for kitchen design and construction and [name removed] for advice on interior designs and colour schemes. As would be expected on a major undertaking there were some issues and niggles but these were all resolved promptly. For anyone carrying out a custom built house, however, we would suggest getting an independent opinion for your electrical requirements. We love living in our new home and have had positive feedback from our small community, family and friends about the design of the house, the quality of the construction and how well it fits in with the bush and river landscape. quality, reliability and imagination.

We've been living our brand new home for 2 months and we're absolutely loving it! We and our neighbour had very difficult sloping site. we both went to other builder ending up wasting money and time. Building home can be challenging but tullipan homes made it easy and stress free. We had bit of issue with retaining walls but it worked out well for us at the end. I come across many people as part of my job and spoke to many people who built their homes with tullipan homes. They are 100% happy with their homes and no major issues after living there over 10 years which makes me confident that I'm living in a solid and good house. I highly recommend Tullipan homes to anyone who wants to build their dream house with no hassle.

Being a first home buyer, you tend to be naive to a few things as it's the first time you are presented with them. Throughout the building process, be it a small change or normal BAU, Nostra Homes communicated this with professionalism and perfection. I cannot fault the experience and their customer service. They always kept me well informed on what was happening and regular updates were sent. As I am interstate, this was paramount. One of the best out there and happy to recommend them without hesitation.

Jodie and i are very happy with our journey with the Ross North group. From the very start dealing with the consultants to dealing with the trades and the site supervisor we were very pleased with everyone's positive attitude and eagerness to deliver what we wanted and most importantly what we paid for. We hear so many bad stories from others with other builders, but not in our case. We are very happy we chose Ross North. We did a great deal of research and put a lot of effort into our house design, with that in mind we had no hidden surprises and cost was spot on, no complaints. We found building for the first time a little stressful but Ross North, and everyone we worked with there, were absolutely fantastic. The most difficult thing we found was making all the decisions required to design and finish our home, but Ross North were incredibly supportive through the process. They all new when to allow us time and space to think things through, and when to guide us in what was almost always the right direction to go. Having such a range of professionals available to us was just what we needed to smooth our path. We have had a number of challenges in getting this project done, but Ross North did not add to them, they solved them for us. Clearly they are not the cheapest builder in the market, but the old addage applies, you get what you pay for, and we are very happy with what we have got. Thank you Ross north

As a first home builder, the whole process couldn't have been more simple. My incredible site supervisor Sal and client liaison officer Kayleigh always went above and beyond to ensure the build ran smoothly and was kept to a high standard. There were no delays and the build was finished sooner than anticipated.I could not be more happy with the completed house. I would certainly build with Home Group WA again in the future. I had completed home final design with "Home Group WA" in 3-4 months. I was dealing with [name removed] from the building company. I had several quotation and chose Home Group WA as there price was the best. I had very clear communication with [name removed] that whatever price you provide, that price should not go higher at a later stage and he ensured me for the same. But you guessed it right. After almost wasting my 4 months of time, "Home Group WA" has increased the house building price by $20,000. We are feeling gutted. I shall never recommend this builder to anyone. Another promise made by [name removed] was that at the first instance company will not increase the price but in case, at a later stage if his company changes the price (increase) then his company would refund our initial deposit of $2,000 if we don't want to go ahead. That promise was also false as now Paul says, there is no refund. A "BIG NO" to this BUILDER for ANYONE who is looking to build the house. Thanks,

Shocking building boom fat cat attitude, wasted my time getting me pre approval, booked in then they realised financing wasnt till march and cancelled the lot via email. Greedy smash and grab behavior, not interested in who you are, what you want to build just show us your money.

I have recently completed construction on my house with your company. I would just like to say thank you to the summit team, specifically Jon Rees my build supervisor and Justin Bryannt and Isabella Carr at pre-start for all their efforts and guidance through my first house build. Through the building process I was pleased with the high standard of service and construction carried out on the property. I have many friends in the building industry who would walk through the house at various stages to inspect the workmanship and comment on the quality of the work being done, along with the cleanliness of the site. Any concerns or queries I had were quickly addressed and resolved. I work away and Jon was able to wrap up the completion of the project ahead of schedule so I was able to be present for the final inspection myself, which was of great comfort as I would be away for the next 28 days. Once again thank you and please express this to Jon and Isabella on my behalf, I will recommend family and friends to consider summit as their builder in the future.

Just wanting to take the time from my end to say thank you to the Summit team for the overall experience that I have undertaken of the past 10 or so months building my new home. Basically when I made the first enquiry I received a phone call from sales consultant Natalie Scott the day after my initial email to New Generation Homes. Which was phenomenal and really put me in the mindset to go with New Generation Homes as I had made similar enquiries with other builders in Perth and didn't get the same initial customer service with responses weeks and even a month or so later. Going through the selection process for the first time and by myself it was a little daunting as I couldn't really put a picture as to what I was selecting and on completion a couple of the selections that Cerys recommended really turned out to be a winner. (bench top selection for the kitchen, paving colour for the driveway and surrounding the house and little details regarding the bathrooms). Her availability via email after hand over of keys is something also that was much appreciated Finally when meeting Brendan and starting the construction process he basically kept me at ease with the overall schedule of the build with his weekly updates and keeping in touch when I had a query or two along the way. It made the process seem quicker because It made me less inclined to go and visit the property as frequent as I may have without the consistent feedback/schedule updates. Once completed and the initial inspection completed by myself there was very minimal corrections that need to be made just a couple of touches which shows me the quality of the overall work. I advised Brendan that I have spoken to work colleagues plus family and friends who all could not believe the quickness of the build but more importantly my description to them the quality of the work . I know of a couple of people who will be looking to build in the next 6 or so months and they most likely will look to be building with the Summit Group. Overall the house design/colours have come up great considering the block is only 400 sqm and I was limited in what I could do on that size. After hand over i have applied some additions, landscaping, fencing and the finished product feels like a home. In the 6 months from handover Cerys was great once again with any queries i may have had and pointing me in the right direction regarding contact with the maintenance team .. A few minor defects were corrected in a quick and smooth time frame by the Maintenance team also. Rob was very helpful in explaining why a minor defect may have occurred regarding my situation (minor grout issue). I waited 6 months after handover before making this review as I felt the 6 months after handover were just as important and the customer service could not be faulted. The build was managed wonderfully, from our design stage with Joanne to our handover stage with Nick. Everyone provided great communication. We had issues with our broker and securing our finance in a timely manner, and as soon as it was approved, Sarah pushed us into the build as a priority client and the house was built very quickly. The cost was on par with what we had estimated at our design stage and we were able to build a very affordable first home, with the little luxuries we wanted, such as a free-standing tub and walk through master robe without breaking the bank.

We met Kristen a number of months prior to us actually signing up with Hickenbothams. We had some trials and tribulations that prevented us from getting to the start point but no matter what Kristen was there for us and this set the tone for our relationship throughout or build. Kristen is a 'no-crap' type of person but within a gentle and kind wrapper. Once we decided on the house, we wanted we sat down with Kristen and talked over our plans and what we wanted to do. For those who have been through this bit you will know is daunting at best, but Kristen was right there no matter the dumb question or design idea on my behalf. In the end she helped us make some very very smart decisions which today we reap the rewards of. We had a bit of an unfortunate experience during our build but one again Kristen was right there in our corner getting things sorted out. Don’t let her pretty looks deceive you, she stands up for her clients and will do whatever she can to get a satisfactory outcome for you. Kristen does her best to make sure when she is doing your initial quote that she is as accurate as she can be to prevent any 'bill shock' down the line. Her specialty is making sure your footings quote is as close to reality as possible. She was that good that ours was only $7k more than her estimate. In a $250k build and without an engineer’s report, that’s pretty bloody good in my book. Even once we had our keys and we were moved in Kristen kept in contact to make sure everything was working out for us. Her customer services skills are hands down some of the best that my wife and I have experienced. When you are building your forever home having Kristen in your corner really makes the journey a pleasant one. If you want the same experience, we did make sure Kristen Williams is your Building Consultant.

I signed up with DreamStart in Feb 2013. Prestart done a couple of months ago, site works are due to start Next month. (Jan 2014). It has been a very long process before building has even began. Waiting almost 1 year gives you a lot of time to doubt your choices. Found it difficult to get straight answers from anyone. I am a first time builder and would appreciated more guidance. Hoping things go ok from now and that the process of building isn't as time consuming as all of the paper work before hand. Will update as the building process unfolds. Buying our first and second properties through Dreamstart homes was very easy. For both our properties the sales rep in the Heron Park Dreamstart display home was informative, knew his products well and referred us to reliable and trustworthy finance broker. He suggested logical adjustments to the house plans that suited what the property was intended for and was always available when we had questions about the process between plans being finalized and prestart. Our prestart meeting was well organised. We were able to make further adjustments to our plan which we thought of at the meeting. These changes were made and finalized on the spot. Once the prestart meeting was completed we were made aware of the total price. We were very happy with the build of our first property. Floor treatments, installations and finishing were of excellent quality. The few finishing we weren’t happy with were fixed promptly. We are in the process of building our second property. We are country residents and find all correspondence has to be done by post, email or phone. We feel informed at all times. Our client liaison officer is always available and prepared to answer questions. With our first property even after handover had taken place, she was still available to organise maintenance on our property. Problems that were reported were fixed promptly.

We moved into our gorgeous new home around 6 months ago, - and we had a good experience building it with Latitude37. While there were a few hairy moments pre-contract, once the build started our experience was excellent. Did things go wrong sometimes? Yes - a house is a big complex project with lots of moving parts, and different things to consider, but on every occasion (and I don't want to imply that this was a common experience because it wasn't) Latitude listened to us, stepped up and made it right. Their building team were great to work with and even though they build a lot of homes, we felt considered and that the service we received was extremely responsive and sincere. There were two things I really appreciated about Latitude. The first was their willingness to build our home, and by that, I mean a house that is bespoke to us and our needs and taste. We included a number of bespoke features and additional sustainability measures and they have delivered something beautiful and practical. Secondly, their responsiveness to reported issues is outstanding. Whatever questions we had (regardless of how naive as a couple of house-building newbies) they answered and they were diligent about ensuring that any concerns were addressed and followed-through. Today is a great example. While getting some work done on our roof this morning (unrelated to the build) we noticed an issue with one of the gutters. I contacted Latitude 37 and as I type this now the issue has already been addressed. Now, maybe the plumber was in the area, and maybe I was just lucky - but that's amazing service. And it's that responsiveness and consideration of owner's concerns that I think makes building with them such a good experience. I should also note that we live in a busy neighbourhood, and their communications setting expectations with other properties that may be affected by works (such as a school across the road) was outstanding (and the staff at the school complimented us on this behaviour several times). Sure, there were a few costs we didn't expect (e.g. traffic management), but frankly I think that was more to do with our lack of experience commissioning such a project - and I think communications could have been better during the pre-contract stage. We were very close to walking away just before we signed. But I am so glad we didn't. We love our house and I would be happy to sincerely recommend them.

Have been in my new home for 3 months now and I love it. Every day we would drive past and have a look at the progress. The building team were very friendly and caring in their work, Answering any questions we had. Everything is as we wanted and even the garden is great. Really happy with the finished product. A big THANKS to all the team at NHS. Especially Valissa and Sarina who put up with all my emails and answering them promptly.

Our building supervisor was David Wawrowski and couldn't ask for a better building supervisor! He ensured all the things were well taken care of. He even put a down light in WIP in good faith for us as we forgot (it's our first house so don't judge :P). Catering to our custom requirements NHS Home build gave us the peace of mind a first home buyer needs. Valissa ensured we were informed during all the stages of construction and when other trades were booked in. After our handover NHS team ensured we had a smooth transition and any issues occurring were handled quickly!

I had a very pleasurable time building with Eden brae as living 2.5 hours away from site the site supervisor was always keeping me updated and informed on where my house was up to and would meet me on site at the drop of a hat to clear up any questions or concerns. Very smooth build and very thoroughly supervised. Very happy with the way it has turned out.

We have settlement of our new Eden Brae Home in the morning, and we are just under a month ahead of scheduled completion which is just brilliant! Both our Customer Service Consultant (Jess) and Site Supervisor (Chris) have been fantastic during each step, both assisting us with our many requests and queries in good time and with personal professionalism. We have seen Eden Brae homes on display in the past and loved the finer details, and our home has been completed in the same manor with any minor finishes requiring attention rectified swiftly. We would like to suggest to Eden Brae Homes in their process, that getting the house keys at head office in Baulkham Hills is a long distance for us especially when there's an office in the same new estate we're moving into. This would have been a 5 hour turnaround for us if we didn't request our keys to be ready on site which we have been able to arrange. To have the keys offered to us on site would have been a nice final touch. Apart from this, we would highly recommend Eden Brae Homes to anyone. We certainly aren't experienced in building a house, yet Eden Brae Homes made the journey at each step so easy - we wouldn't hesitate in building with them again in the future given the opportunity.

This being our second build, we opted for a smaller builder that could customise to our needs. It just so happened that what we wanted was straight off the plan anyway! We made some minor structural changes that were no problems. Starting with the Sales Team in Torquay - PB and EF who went above and beyond to save us the long drive with 2 little kids to Berwick and gave us some really great advice. It was at this stage however that we did feel we would have liked some firmer pricing before putting a deposit down. It wasn't what we experienced with our first build so handing over money without really knowing the costs of changes was a little daunting. Our very intuitive and fun Colour Consultant KH just got us and what we wanted in our home. Whilst it was lots of fun choosing how our home would look, they are unable to provide you with costs on the day. Its really a guessing game as to the 'upgraded items' and you have to wait until your contract stage to really see what things cost you. You are expected to have a backup option just in case it doesn't fall into your budget but we were able to work through this with minimal fuss. Then there was our electrical whizz EC - who we barely needed to speak with she was that quick. Our Customer Service Administrator BG - I am pretty sure we spoke each and every day for a month straight and she forever kept her composure - knew everything going on with our contract and amended immediately anything we required. There were of course lots of questions from us - BG was incredibly prompt in her replies and we were not made to feel we were asking unnecessary questions. We are building in the South West of the state and whilst they have a relatively new sales office here we feel they really need a showroom for colour, electrical and contract signing. In saying that - Arden were very accommodating in allowing us to do most things online. So in conclusion - so far thumbs up from us! Things are moving quickly on site already, as promised with a site cut done just a week after contracts were finalised :)

This is my second new home build, and I chose Arden for their high quality, very impressive inclusions and their custom home at a rate that I wasn’t able to beat with any other comparable builder. I went down the “custom design” path and designed my own single storey home with Arden. I’ve been in my new home for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier. Family and friends who have built with the big volume builders have all commented on the high quality of finish and the high quality of all the fixtures and fittings compared to what they got in their homes. The site supervisor Terry was always on top of everything and easy to contact, I never felt like I was being a bother. My customer service administrator, colour selection advisor, tender presenter were all extremely knowledgeable and professional. Thanks to all the staff at Arden!! Another impressive feature I found during the Arden process was their transparency in their inclusions and in their pricing, there were no tricks or hidden surprises like you get with the big volume builders. I got exactly what I was expecting, great value for money and the quality is definitely on par with their display home. Of course there were little speed bumps along the way, if you are building a new home and expect everything to be smooth sailing you are kidding yourself, but whenever there was an issue it was attended to quickly, Arden’s approach was always professional and very fair, it’s clear they value their client’s and treat them fairly and respectfully. I am so happy that I chose Arden to build my dream home.

We decided on building with Momu when we visited a show home and the salesman didn't attack us as soon as we walked in the door, he allowed us time to look over the house and listened to what we wanted. There are two downsides from the build process that I can think of 1) The drafting team should have flipped our home as we now have a useless door from our scullery 2) The house packages should include more expensive carpet and blind options, we went to the carpet display and were very disappointed with the quality offered. A quality product should be offered through-out. The finished build looked wonderful with lovely finishes and was almost exactly what we envisioned, the only thing letting down taking possession was the cleanliness of the handed over house. We have recently finalised our 6-month maintenance. Nothing has been too hard nor issue for the team at Momu Especially Tim, he has been outstanding and we thank him for his assistance truly a value to Momu. Todd our supervisor has dealt with a lot of our demands & questions but has done amazingly to help us out. I would recommend Momu / Content living to my friends and family... We are not the easiest clients but the Momu Team have made us rest at ease through-out the building process. We are in our 20's - 30's but wanted a quality build from a reliable and well-respected builder and we were not let down. Thank you to the team at Momu.

I moved into my home 18 months ago and I am still very happy. The whole process from start to finish was easy, especially being a first homebuyer. The quality of the built was outstanding. I have have had many people comment on the high quality of the finishes. The trades were all professional and very efficient! My supervisor was very approachable and knowledgeable. He ensured the build was completed quickly but to a high standard. He was flexible with meeting times and tried to cater to my work hours. Even since the build has been completed, my supervisor has been able to assist in directing maintenance queries. I loved my experience with MOMU and would 100% recommend them to family and friends.

Adenbrook Homes Coffs Harbour was highly recommended to me, after meeting Nikki in the display home and having a chat with her I decided to go ahead. The entire process was smooth and straight forward. The team was more than happy to accomadate any changes I needed to make to the plan, and also undoing some things I changed my mind about. The cost was spot on from day one and the build was finished on time. After moving in, there was a couple of minor things that needed touching up, once this was addressed with adenbrook homes, the contractors were in contact with me the very next day to resolve. Overall I'm very impressed with everything, the communication, efficiency, cost, and the end result of my home.

I have now been dealing with Adenbrook for the past one year and right from the time I purchased the land and finished construction up until my maintenance Inspection , their service has been outstanding. The experience is simple, you have a problem, they listen and action. No build goes through without hiccups! difference is, when a builder walks alongside you with your problems. Adenbrook definitely does that! :)

To say I am impressed with Stacey's work would be an understatement, she made this scary process simple and exceeded all of my expectations. Walking into this process as a single person was worrying to say the least, but as soon as Stacey was involved it all seemed so much easier. Cant recommend David at the Kingston display home enough. Very friendly and professional and explains things well so you know exactly whats happening in the early stages of building your house. Wilsons can and will work within your budget and nothing seems to be a problem. Cant recommend them highly enough so far.

I cannot fault our agent Adam Strauch. He was there for us in every step of the way - he was patient, understanding, he was extremely helpful and he was very quick to answer any and all questions we had. Whenever we had a problem, his answer is always “leave it to me, I’ll take care of it” and it would be fixed. We just felt we were in great hands. We could contact him at any time and he would reply, what he always say is he’s like a 7/11, you can reach him 24/7. With the actual build of our house, we went to visit our house at least 3 times a week and there was a point where 3 weeks would pass and nothing was happening. There’s another house in another street also under Affordable Living and they were really behind from us, we were already on our shower screens and mirrors and they had just reached lock up and yet we finished at the same time. That’s the only thing we had problems with, we feel that they could have finished our house maybe a month or so sooner if there wasn’t periods of time where nothing was happening.

I consider myself lucky that with the combination of my BC's [name removed] followed by [namesremoved] and the tradesman involved, they have produced an absolute pristine build for what will be our forever home. Any issues I had were tackled by both parties professionally and they would go far and beyond to meet my needs, there were no boundaries. We definitely chose the right company, amazing house design and layout and an incredible team who put it all together. I can't thank them enough! Very satisfied client :)

Our house is coming up amazing our supervisor is great he is very helpful with every question we had. He is honest and does what he says. I am part of an investor group and we were reading these reviews last night and i felt it important to advise about this particular builder whom we build through. Firstly, use your brains people, if someone had a legitimate wrong doing, wouldnt you think they have taken it up with consumer affairs or today tonight would have grabbed the story. There are always 2 sides to a story, remember that when reading feedback from unidentified sources. Secondly, these companies arent new kids on the block, they have been around for a long time and i am sure Statesman Homes dont go around thinking i am going to get to install the wrong items in this clients house because i can get away with it and make another $50. Come on people, use your brains. I use Statesman Home time after time and it is at the end of the day, value for money. value for money, bang for the buck only gripe is i cant do granite benchtops, apart from that no complaints

well i am out of bad words for the Statesman homes.I build my first home and it was such a terrible experience that i will not recommend anyone to build a new home and especially with statesman home.Their staff was very rude and don't even bother to provide service to their customers.I was cheated and tricked by this builder and since they started building my home i was paying for builders mistakes and lack of communication with their sub contractors.This Builder and his sub contractor are making fool of people and making money out of them.This builder don't even know and bothers to check councils requirement.My property cost me more than $420000 and on top because of builders mistake i am paying hard cash out of my pocket. The following has not been fixed properly or not fixed at all: a) My driveway paving all broken and not fixed properly with rain the paves are coming out and i am still not able to catch hold of the sub-contractor. b) Statesman homes have made my home without any lights in any of the bedrooms/Entertainment room without any power points , how anyone can imagine their bedroom without light secondly i paid builders Sub contractor hard cash $2300 for doing all this job and still it was not fixed. c) some tiles are broken in bathroom and still not fixed d) hot water system not installed properly. e) holes on the walls and paint is not done properly. f)My fibre optic cable wire lines are not installed at all and many more errors These are some of the issues but the major and most irritating part is the catching these people.They never come on the phone to discuss the issue and to rectify their mistakes in fact i have to hold the lines for more than hours therefore Every week i have to visit their office to talk with their maintenance team but the their team is very Rude with all my family and talk with us as we had done a crime.They always give me false information and try to earn time like they will fix all the issue in next week but it has been 3 months and nothing has been fix.I also email them that i will go to court but their staff don't even bother or reply me anything. I am out of word and i don't want to use dirty language on internet for this builder. I had made my life's biggest mistake that i built with Statesman homes and now all my life is ruined because i have to pay off my mortgage for this crap service provided by this builder. I am finishing this review by saying that i have lost everything for nothing and i am not at all satisfy with the statesman homes. I feel like to kill myself for making this mistake that i choose Statesman homes for my dream house and if something happened to me it is statesman homes responsibility.

We built our very first house with FHBD, its been approximately 2 n half years now since we got our keys.The support we received during the built did not vanish after key hand over, maintenance till now has been stress free. Mr.Vikas Goyal has been a great support. He managed our finances plus the house plan and also just recently got our mortgage refinanced at a very competitive rate. Ms.Alana S took care of the admin work and was a delight to work with. I highly recommend FHBD to anyone out there thinking of building their dream home.

We moved into our Country Builders Home 2 years ago and absolutely love it. Apart from the normal couple of small cracks around cornices which is, I understand, quite normal we have only had one problem which was with our front doors. This was fixed without delay with two brand new doors being fitted. I have only just discovered this site hence the delay in putting on my review. I am actually shocked at reading some of the experiences of other people as we could not have asked for better. We built with the Busselton division so maybe other divisions are different. We started with one of the standard homes and made so many changes over a period of time. We found the builder more than happy to accommodate our requests. Our supervisor and the office was always contactable and responded quickly to queries. The quality of work was really good, especially the plastering and tiling and every trade we encountered on site was happy to discuss things with us. I would definitely recommended the company if you wanted to build with a project builder. high quality of workmanship, great staff and easy to deal with. I can't think of anything.
