Bad experience - ordered two, 2GB chips for iMac 5.1. They delivered promptly. One of the chips would not boot up in either of my machines. The other would allow the computers to boot up but then I had disc corruption, ended up having to do a full reinstall/restore. I reinstalled the original memory from both machines and had no problem after that. I sent both chips back but was refused a refund. Ramjet said I had damaged the chips by using tools to remove them. When I asked how you do actually remove a defective chip from your iMac the manager told me that he uses needle nose pliers. Basically folks, you are never in a good position if you have to remove the chips and return an order because Ramjet is going to assume the chips were perfect when you got them and that you damaged them - causing the problem. I lost $70.00.

It's been years since I upgraded my 1.1 Mac Pro. Your website helped me quickly find exactly what I wanted. I got a call saying the hard drive I ordered was not in stock, but got a substitution that seems to be fine and got it all in a couple of days. The experience was perfect.

Just before my PC went down a week ago I left a message with, I believe, Award, asking if BIOS upgrades were available for my motherboard. When my email came back up today I found a message from eSupport.com asking me to call them. I got a very slick salesman who proceeded to sell me a $69.95 BIOS upgrade. As I continued to go through my messages I found three more from him, and two more from another eSupport.com salesman offering an upgrade for $24. This made me suspicious, so I did a Google search and found the messages here, which don't say kind things about the company. I then called eSupport to talk to the salesman again and question why the diference in price. He promptly transferred me to tech support, which didn't answer. I called again, and insisted on talking to a manager to cancel my order. After a fair amount of runaround I was connected with someone who told me I wasn't doing the right thing by submitting and cancelling an order so quickly, and told me he could "see through the telephone" that I was the kind of guy who did this all the time. Not the kind of people I want to do business with! Kevin

I felt its fair to note that all 1 star reviews are by people who, too, have only written 1 review. In addition please note that when an attorney general is involved 97% of the persons filing the complaints do not attempt, or remember, to get in contact with the company first. It's just one of those things that have neither rhyme or reason... Alas, this is not to say that we as retailers are not as fault. This is not the first err in communication we've come to face as consumers and retails or people in general... we are humans too. For example, the main complaint to the AG and the BBB was because we were unable to forsee that a novice computer users would see a dialog box and auto-assume it was an error, or worse, a random pop-up. We'd assume they'd know that they didn't have the product and move on, alas, we were wrong. Here at Ascentive we have no desire to deceive or manipulate anyone. We offer the highest form of transparancy between us and our patrons. Unlike most businesses our reps use their -real- first names, not codes, and each rep is responsible for leaving their personal extension - this was done so that customers would know " Hey, we're available" but, every now and then someone misses that memo. Here's to a future of better communication! A necessity in any relationship, business or otherwise

(October 20th, 2004 -- Email sent to Roxio regarding Order ID #200410190820ROX585033:) When Roxio sent me the special invitation to to upgrade my Roxio CD Creator version 5 for $40 for a limited time only, I thought Roxio was offering the latest version, so on Tuesday, 19th of October 2004, I jumped on it before Roxio had a chance to change their minds. So, I'm asking, "If do decide to still get version 7, is it possible to upgrade from this to the new one for another $40. Still considering 7.0 but not for $120 ($40 + $100-$20." Somehow this seems kind of sneaky. Watch what you are upgrading to, before you accept an offer as being a must accept. It looks like Roxio fooled me into upgrading to version 6.2, hoping I will pay another $100 to upgrade next week to version 7.0! (sent to Roxio on 11/8/2004 4:40:09) I've tried out your Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.2 and have found it is not for me! The Disk Copy does not like my DVD/CD Reader (all music CD's are seen as incompatible blank DVD's in version 6 -- but seen fine by other peice of software, including the EOM version 5, of Roxio) and the Sound Editor really doesn't seem any better that the $7 RIP Vinyl program I already have. The rest of the program is of little use to me, as my program of preference is still Microsoft Media Player versions 9 and 10 for most storing and burning of CDs. And, For RIPping cassettes, I still prefer RIP Vinyl. Is there a process for returning Roxio 6 and getting my money back? I have already uninstalled version 6 off my computer and put version 5 OEM back onto my computer. (November 10th -- Roxio's Response:) Roxio has an unconditional 15-day money back guarantee for all products purchased directly from Roxio via our online store or Inside Sales. They offer a 15-day return policy, but ignore your emails during the first fifteen days. After 20 days, they will respond your new emails, by letting you know you were eligible for a refund during the first 15 days. TRY IT: Download it one day and email the day after. They'll respond, but they never offered my money back. Instead, they will wait until 20 days and email you that you were entited to a refund during the first 15 days. DON'T BUY FROM ROXIO. THE DON'T HONOR THEIR advertised REFUND POLICY!

I have Roxio 6. Seduced by Roxio's emailed barrage of how great version 7 is I ordered it. However, it turns out that version 7 is not backward compatible with version 6. During installation of 7 one is advised to leave version 6 installed "to avoid problems in reading media recorded on version 6. There is no mention of this problem in the manual (which is so cheap you will need a magnifying glass to read the tiny faint print) and one doesn't find out about it until you've broken the software seal and tried to instal it. I emailed them asking if it was imperative to leave version 6 installed and in reply received one of their canned "knowledge base" replies. I had researched and read it previously and it did not address the issue. I emailed them again asking them to please just answer my question. I still want for the courtesy of a reply. I am switching to Nero and I am sending Roxio 7 back. Of course there's no mention of RMA's etc on their site so I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company on the basis that Roxio did not disclose the problem up front. Userisme.

Long story short. I have four 8gb sticks of transintl ram (SUPPOSEDLY they cater to the film industry) and it always came up as 1066Mhz. So I recently upgraded my 2012 macpro from 2.46Ghz to 3.46Ghz and was obviously expecting the ram speed to go to 1333Mhz (and yes I reset the PRAM) After much research, I took them out and tested each one at a time and even though ALL of them are transintl. com 8GB PC10600 DDR3 1333MHZ ECC, only two of them would show 1333Mhz. So I called transintl (a brick and mortar macs that state matchless service and support) and they told me to ship it to the to test. So after a whole week, the call me and transintl. com COMPLETELY dropped the ball on me. What a waste of shipping priority mail and waiting a week even though I was told a few days. I sent the 4 sticks USPS priority mail last Thursday, they got it on Sat and said they'll run stress and other tests. And was told by their tech/warranty dept. that they would take care of me (not sure what that means, I was under the impression that would be some of compensation or adjustment or something) and have it back by Monday or Tuesday. I get a call on Wednesday saying that all 4 sticks ran perfectly at 1333Mhz, but they didn't use a mac (they only had a PC and it was sent out to someone else). And I asked well can you at least swap out the ones that I marked, that on my mac only show up as 1066Mhz and they said no, so they shipped it back and I got it last night (January Thursday 28th) and put the ones that I marked, that only show up as 1066Mhz, and low and behold it’s the same issue. I am very disappointed in this company and of course will never use them again. Finally re-bought all of my ram from OWC (which I called and mentioned my situation, and they told me that they would have just swapped out the RAM). Expensive lesson learned, just because some random company slaps a sticker on ram with lifetime warranty, doesn’t mean you’ll get true lifetime warranty service like you would from a more reputable company such as OWC.

I was trying to purchase an extra 2GB RAM for my Mac Pro but at the last page of trying to order online, I was met with the site's database being down. I e-mailed them letting them know I was trying to purchase a product from them. My e-mail signature has my phone number in it and they called me to let me know they were right on it and I can make the purchase over the phone instead. The gentleman on the phone was very courteous and knowledgeable; it was done very fast, very painless. The product was shipped that very day. It came in at the expected date and works. I would recommend transintl to anybody looking for a very reliable alternative to Apple's expensive RAM upgrades along with knowledgeable and fast customer service.

Recently, I bought a preowned computer from DV Warehouse, This is not the first time that I have made purchases with them. Several years ago, one of my MACs that I bought elsewhere years before went on the blink. I bought another exact copy of the same computer from DV Warehouse and a few parts. Both computers that date back to 2002 are still functioning perfectly in 2013. My recent purchase from DV had an OS 10.6.8 operating system and for $19.99 I was able to upgrade it to mountain lion! I bought this computer for 2/3 what it would have cost any place else and there is no computer that I would rather have! DV Warehouse has always shipped promptly and stood behind and replaced any products that I have had problems with (which did happen once), and they promptly sent me a replacement without any complaint. I trust DV Warehouse much more than (in my opinion) the money hungry Apple stores.

I'm in Australia and I ordered an Xserve G5 power supply on 16 June 2015. I specified the fastest shipping, and it arrived on 22 June 2015 in good order. It was packaged in a well-padded manner and worked when it was installed. I'm very happy with the product and service. I was also impressed by the DVWarehouse website which provides much more product information, and in particular product compatibility information, than other vendors. This is one of the main reasons I chose DVWarehouse. The only issue was that their order form forced me to ship to the credit card billing address. That was a PO box and the order was then held up because their shipping carrier doesn't deliver to PO boxes. So I had to phone them to sort it out and supply another address. They were very helpful and efficient about this and my order was not significantly delayed because of it. This should sort this problem out though.

I bought a Hallmark Card Studio 2012 update, thinking I was dealing with Hallmark. Come to find out, Nova Development has bought the rights to use the Hallmark name. My software was defective and I got no response from the company, even though I was given a 90 day money back guarantee. Also, there was no information in the package on how to return the product for a refund. Luckily, I had used Pay Pal to purchase it and was refunded my money by Pay Pal. When I looked on the better business bureau website, I discovered that they have an "F" rating with them. Never do business with these folks! I would have given them no stars if that were a choice.

I am getting the runaround concerning a simple $20 gift card. I have checked my rebate status and it states that they did not receive all of the information. I did not receive a card or an email telling me what they are missing. I emailed them once and did not get a reply. I emailed 2 weeks later and they tell me to fax or mail the box top. I tried to fax it to the number they gave me and it is a number that is no longer in service. So I emailed them again and they tell me that they are having problems with the fax line and gives me another line to fax to. Guess What? That number is no longer in service. To date I have not received this rebate.

On 12/27/08 I purchased Nitro PDF Professional from Fry's Electronics which came with a $60 rebate. I submitted all the information required to Avanquest USA on 12/28/08. After 10 weeks and no rebate check, I contacted Avanquest and was told that the rebate was not received. Fortunately, I had copies and FAXed the information. I received an e-mail message that the rebate submission was received. On 3/25/09 I received an e-mail indicating that the rebate was approved and I would receive a check in 8 weeks. On 4/21/09 I received the same message that the rebate was approved and I would receive a check in 8 weeks. I feel the company will not send the rebate.

Put an order in for a web cam (Logitech Brio 4k). A couple of our other employees did the same. We received order confirmations and an estimate of 5 days to receive. 7 days later we all login to our accounts and there are no records of the purchases. Spent 55 minutes on hold with the sales line and then they drop the call because they closed at 7pm EST. Got ahold of them the next day and they say that the product is not in stock (although the website showed 169 available in the Vancouver warehouse) and they dont know why it was cancelled. All orders cancelled without notification. This is a terrible way to do business. Tried to work with a Canadian company, but this one isn't worth another try; go elsewhere.

I just purchased a System76 Gazelle with an Intel SSD, 8GB RAM and i7 processor. Performance wise the machine rocks. Overall here is my opinion: 1) I got the high end matte display and while it is sharp and not bad at all, it is a bit dim even at the brightest level and the colors are a bit on the grey side. Sitting beside my Macbook Pro Retina there just is no comparison. 2) The keyboard is comfortable to type on but the comments about it being a bit hot to type on are not off base at all. Especially the left side, but honestly the entire thing is warmer than my Macbook. Even sitting here typing this and doing nothing else it is really warm. 3) I still don't get why companies don't get serious about designing a serious piece of hardware to compete with Apple. All linux and Windows computers are just cheap plastic paper weights and just not in the same class as a Macbook. The build quality of this computer is actually worse than most other systems I've had. If you pick it up by a corner you can actually feel the entire thing flex. It reminds me of the old systems that Dell use to make 10 years ago and that is just sad to see in something with such awesome specs. 4) Why can't someone create a power supply for a notebook that isn't as large as a brick? This thing uses the old brick style power supplies with the large thick power chord. Compared to what Apple builds its just out dated and ugly. When I pull out my Macbook Pro I'm proud to hold it and its firm and professional at every level. When I pull this system out I'm actually a bit embarrassed. If I didn't really want to use Linux and not be locked into Apple and its crazy ways, I'd probably just return it. In closing, its nice to see a company dedicating their processes to Linux. I just wish they actually had engineers that knew how to design a case that we could be proud to pull out of our bag instead of the cheap Chinese junk we're so accustomed to.

Bought a Pangolin Performance in February, 2010. Still works very well. I've had two support issues and both were handled very well. With the last one, I installed Windows and didn't have the driver for the web cam. System76 is an Ubuntu-only shop, but Mark (in customer service) still found the driver and emailed it to me when I was only looking for the manufacturer / model so I could go find it myself. Based on my experience, I would definitely purchase from them again.

Good range of courses, knowledgeable instructors, online and in person options. Downside is variation in teaching styles. I took the InDesign 101 class twice and my second instructor was much better than the first, in my opinion. The first one was a student-led style, where we figured out how to do things. The second one was more lecture style showing us exactly how to use each function. I prefer the second because we got through much more material in the time available. I also feel that the course is overpriced. I made my purchase with Gopher Mods on January 8, 2010 to repair my ps3. The experience with them was the WORSE I've ever had with any company of any sort. Their website promises fast delivery time, which wasnt the case at all. I just got my ps3 back today, which is January 29th, 2010. Three weeks later! They promise a 24 hour turn around time. After sending Casey several emails regarding where my order was, his response was, and I quote "Hi Joe, It was sitting on the shelf and no one actually knew that it was supposed to be shipped out until I inquired why it has been boxed up and shipped."..... you kidding me? This was of course after I found out that they could not repair my ps3 due to it falling in the class of unrepairable. Ok thats fine, but as their one email stated to me "Additionally, if you had a game that was stuck inside the console it will be taken out for you and place in a CD case.".... of course they did not do this either. I had Modern Warfare 2 stuck inside the console, which I made cystal clear to them that I needed it removed. So of course I get the broken ps3 sent back to me after three weeks of waiting for it, and the game is still stuck inside. So now I have to find a place that can remove the game without damaging it, which is going to cost me even more time and $$$. I highly recommend avoiding this company. Terrible customer service, terrible return time, terrible overall experience.

I sent my 60GB PS3 into these guys earlier this year. It ran fine but was loud. I received it later than advertised, and it died in 5 minutes. Later emails were ignored. It was a waste of money and I feel terrible about it. Edit: GopherMods contacted me back only after this negative review. The free repair offered was including something already done by them to the unit, that obviously would not have fixed the issue. GopherMods was asked previous to repair as to whether unit would be acceptable, and I was told they are very willing to accept units that have been opened and are without warranty seal. That said, the unit worked for hours before sending it to them, and I'd like to stress that it was dead within 5 minutes use after their repair. The graphics chip burned itself up. That said, if they ignore your emails regarding a refund, leave a negative review online. Reviews are very important to GopherMods, and a refund was issued to me as an obvious attempt to save face only after this review had been posted.

I just wanted to take the time to thank FlexiSpy for this program. I am monitoring my daughter who is 12 and has had 1 previous interaction with a young man I feel was grooming her for abduction. She can be naive and does not understand yet how dangerous this world can be. I am in the process of teaching her how to be smarter but in the mean time I will look out for her safety as much as possible. She knows that I have installed this on her phone and tablet just for her safety. She is not happy about it being on her electronics but we have come to an agreement and so she said yes to the installation. The program does not interfere with any of her apps, texts messages, pictures, chats or posts on social media or with her friends. and it realisticly took less than 20 minutes to install. But it has been invaluable to me as a mother to know who she's talking to, where she is going and how she is getting around. I can check her location, her texts, and her videos. All I need is located on my Flexispy dash board and I can see what is happening. It brings me the peace of mind that helps a mother sleep better at night. You can even use your phone to link the device to a hotspot (if you have a hotspot on your phone) to get all the information the program stores, down loaded to the Flexispy dashboard. It really is that simple. I have read other reviews for other programs and I have no desire to try them because the FlexiSpy program covers everything I am looking for. I recommend this for parents who just want to make sure their kiddo comes home at night safe and sound.

CyberLink PowerDVD is a program that plays all video formats, including modern HD. It has a simple, clear interface. There is support for 3D format. There are also multitasking features - for example, playing several films. And also I shot a freeze frame there for myself, cutting a film in a photograph. The program has very broad capabilities and it alone will replace absolutely all of these. For me it is the best! Recent versions also support Blu rey formats.The program works on modern computers, on old ones it will slow down. So its only drawback is the requirements for system resources. And so it is a wonderful program, the best! There are only few cons:it does not support custom resolution and may be a bit difficult for beginners or regular users, but you would get used to it quickly, for sure. I am finally able to produce a reliable video that actually plays on a DVD player. The price was right at $55 on Amazon. Cyberlink has a great website with many tutorials, and also have an active forum at forum.cyberlink.com It has a bit of a learning curve, but it works.

I regret that I can give one star - its absolutely horrible service. It started really nicely and I was reassured that the company has 5 star rating in google and is a well respected family business. My computer was not repaired, it was also messed up, my passwords, the cloud, apple id - was out of access although I put the correct passwords in. On the second computer the login password was messed up and I could not log in using my usual password or my apple id - which was incorrect after they repair it. It took me almost a day and 2 other people to repair what those guys had "repaired". The worst is an attitutde - completelt unfriendly, rude and snobbish - ignoring my concerns and telling me that this was not their problem. DO NOTgo there, do not waste your time and money (which they refused to return). Never have had worse service. The worst that those people are actually using the pandemic and Appple closure to take an advantage of people who need to work, who need their computers to let their children study from home - and they do not have choice as to go there and take chances. Shame ….

We've been using GoECart's 360 solution for two years. Overall we are very happy their eCommerce solution. GoECart's strong points are: -Their 360 offering. If you are looking for OMS, CMS, Inventory management and more, GoECart offers this and more in one solution. -Their very prompt response to requests for technical support. When we have a non-critical issue, we usually hear from somebody within a couple of hours. We've only had one critical issue and we heard back from tech support within a very short period of time. Their responses are professional, courteous and helpful. -Their database. We have a very large catalog - more than 17,000 items offered in a wide variety of sizes, and other options. GoECart handles our catalog with ease. Their weaknesses: -The major weakness is in the amount of legacy code that exists in their system. A designer that doesn't have raw html experience will be frustrated trying to implement more contemporary design solutions. -Overpromising deliverables. As noted above, we have a complex catalog. When shown our previous site, we were told that there would be no issues with implementing pricing and shipping in GoECart. That was a gross overstatement. There were and are significant kludges to make pricing and shipping work.

We have been a happy merchant of GoECart’s for years, pleased with the services being received. In an effort to cut costs, our company began researching lower cost options for our Ecommerce Platform. Our research led us to select a new platform and cost friendly implementation firm. The migration itself and the impact to our business was disastrous. Revenues, conversion rates and traffic plummeted, redirects were a mess, SEO appeared to be ignored – we were bleeding badly. Even more importantly, the time spent was not done to benefit their business or for pay, simply because they have heart for small business and a strong belief in partnering with their merchants. When evaluating solutions, it is so important to look beyond the monthly expense. In reality, lower cost solutions can cost much more than the monthly subscription debit taken from your bank account.

Very nice stickers, reusable with a tag to remove. Fitting over original Apple logos, thus giving a unique look. So far, so good. I am happy with the two ive bought. They could, if you would want to nitpick: a. be a bit "flatter", or thinner and b. in the process of deciding which sticker to buy it would be a huge help if one could choose the size of the sticker by device rather than size.

I like very much the high quality of the sticker and the effect it generates. I do think though that the little tongue in the lower left corner is a bit ugly. I understand that it helps removing the sticker, but I don't need to change the sticker so often. I would prefer making it more difficult to remove than have the tongue always on. I have even thought of cutting it altogether. Another drawback of the tongue is that it makes it easier for the sticker to peel off. That's what happened to me. It peeled off two days(!) after I placed it and it gathered dust and now the edge of the sticker is on the air. Not good at all. Thank you.

I bought a mid-2010 iMac i7 from Usedmac.com about three weeks ago. Before I ordered it, I emailed Sales and asked what kind of condition the iMac was in. I was told "they are in Grade A condition and may have few very minor scratches on the back only". For the most part, that was true. There were no scratches on the back and just a couple of tiny pings on the stand. I was VERY happy with the cosmetic condition of the iMac. OPERATIONALLY though, that was a different story. When I received the iMac, there was a tiny line of magenta pixels on the left side of the display from top to bottom. It went away after a few minutes which was a relief. Within a day or two though, I started seeing a lot of magenta and green 2mm pixels bouncing around on the screen occasionally, seeming to blink along with HDD activity. I reported this via their website twice and received no response. Because I needed a quick fix, I called Apple and they told me to take it to the local store. Upon running diagnostics, (which I watched them run) the 1tb hard drive was failing and the video card had to be replaced. That repair will cost me $411 and will take about a week, but at least I don't have to pay $60 to ship it to California (a week from Georgia), wait for them to repair it, and then wait another week for it to get back to me and still maybe have a problem elsewhere with it. Now, I know I could have called these guys and asked them to honor their warranty, but I'd rather have the iMac repaired directly by Apple. Also, I didn't want the hassle of arguing with them (not that I expected it) and then wasting time and money to ship it back. Point is - they should have ran diagnostics before shipping the iMac. I only paid $795 for it and cosmetically, it was definitely Grade A condition. I suppose it could have been worse, like a logic board failure or a unit that Apple wouldn't repair. Just be careful when you buy and be sure to run diagnostics as soon as the unit arrives, especially if you don't buy an additional warranty.

I made my order, they processed it immediately, and the shipping took only 8 working days. My old 30" Cinema display (LG-Philips LM300W01-STA4) had a bad yellowish tint over all parts of the screen. I replaced it with the one from used mac.com and it works like new again! This purchase was an excellent experience! I would do it again! Totally recommended! H. Post

To be honest, we were surprised at the beginning when we found out about the deal - especially why a company with such a history would place their tool on a web dedicated to LTD deals. Having worked in a customer support industry for more than 3 years the most important goal that every company should achieve is the satisfaction of customers. There are several ways of how to achieve it - you can have an amazing and extremely unique product that they love. Which can be hard sometimes. Or, you can select the proper tool that simplifies your work and keeps your customers & customer support reps happy almost all the time. I personally tried several help desk solutions that are available on the market, however, only LiveAgent convinced me enough to trust the software and the company. It delivers everything I and the company need from the proper help desk software - it's easy to install and use, has great features and is also affordable thanks to the pricing. There are a lot of friends / colleagues from this business sphere, whom I recommended LiveAgent to and I will keep doing it as these guys are absolutely the best.

We spent a considerable amount of time accessing different service engineer software packages and finally chose Commusoft as the one that would best suit our requirements and most importantly it could work without an internet connection all the time as we operate in an area that has poor coverage. Like all these things converting your daily working structure and habits is going to be hard and for a while counterproductive, but the staff at Commusoft have made this transition as easy and informative as possible with great communications and most importantly fast response. The software is very good to use and full of features but the proposed improvements that the new version should bring will make it even easier and faster for us to use in the future. Have been using Commusoft for about a year now. Had a look at some of the competitors but none of them really seemed to fit what we were looking for. Cannot imagine how we managed before! There is plenty of room for improvement and find it irritating, even though I'm paying for 4 users, that we are not entitled to phone support - albeit that the email support etc. has been very good.
