I buy from Costco quiet a lot. I like their products, but you need to be quick to buy items sometimes, because, if you hesitate and go back, odd chances the item will still be there. Great deals on French onion soups! I love their bake goods and the tasting they have a bit everywhere in the store. Gaz is much cheaper there! I do recommend this store if you have a big family or like to buy in big quantities.

Happy to order from costco because I don't have to deal with the crowds in the store and I've been happy to get my delivery faster than expected. Also, if you aren't happy you can return it to the store instead of mailing it back if you want which is really handy.

Every morning I purchase my coffee at Tim Horton's. Every morning at work I have coffee stains all over my clothes and my desk. WHY DID you change your coffee cups and lids? They are dangerous and terrible quality. If something doesn't change with the lids and cups I will be heading to Star Bucks in the morning, sorry!

They told me they would pick my car up tomorrow morning and i didn't have to be there since i told them i work in the mornings (they were taking my car for scrap for free). The next day i get a weird message saying "we took your dads car" (still don't understand). When i get home my car is still there and when i called them they said they were already there and i wasn't then immediately hung up on me. Sketchy time wasters. They don't even have an address or anything on their website.

I wish I had never heard of this company. Sold my dead car to them in a parking lot but was not provided with a bill of sale at the time. Since I was working with them after normal business hours it all seemed on the up and up. They put their plates on it but did not make immediate arrangements to have it towed. It was towed the next day by the city to impound lot and I am now on the hook for the towing and storage fees. When I tried reaching out to the owner of the company the employees refused to provide the info. Eventually they started pretending they had never heard of me. I am still working on getting the owner info but warn you to STAY AWAY from this group. There are plenty of other recyclers and there is no need to work with this very shady company.

I made a reservation via Expedia to rent a car at LAX. When I arrived at the counter to pick up my car, they said they did not have ANY cars available! I asked when they would have a car for me and they said they did not know. I had a tight time schedule so I made other travel arrangements. I later found out that Nu Car had charged my credit card. I disputed the charge and new Car replied to my dispute saying I was a " No Show ". This is a lie. Nu Car charged me for making a reservation, not for renting a car. I am still fighting to get a refund from this company and have filed a complaint with the BBB and the state attorney generals office. Do not use this company.

I booked a 2 day car rental out of Phoenix AZ through Hotwire for September 22 starting and returning it September 24. I guess the total charge was supposed to be $175.11, which is hardly your claim to fame at $40.00 per day! You advertise lower prices, but when you're DONE you are still paying $87.00 a day! Bait and Switch and ADD ONS! When we came in to pick up the car it took forever to get out of there! Plus that Phoenix location looks very sketchy. If I would have been alone in the evening I would have left immediately! Another family was there picking up their car and we were talking about the location, they said they were there about 2 years prior and the place looks the exact same way! NU Car it's time to invest in making your pick up locations, not look like you're walking into a closed up business, in a poor area of town! Now why am I writing this... I returned that car 1 day, plus a few hours early! You have the audacity to charge me for BOTH DAYS! SO WHAT YOU (HOTWIRE) CHARGED ME FOR (ONE) DAY CAR RENTAL WAS $175.11! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I EXPECT A REFUND FOR 1 DAY! THEN NU CAR... I RETURNED THAT CAR BACK SPOTLESS, YOU WOULD NOT EVEN HAD TO CLEAN IT! I TRIED TO FILL UP IN GAS AT A STATION ONE BLOCK FROM YOU, THEIR PUMPS WERE DOWN. I REALLY WAS UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING AROUND THE HOOD, LOOKING FOR GAS. I TOLD THE GIRL CHECKING MY CAR BACK IN THAT THE PUMPS WERE DOWN... SHE DID NOT GIVE A CRAP! SHE SAID THE CHARGE WAS $9.99 PER GALLON! ARE YOU KIDDING ME... TALK ABOUT STICKING IT TO PEOPLE! I ONLY NEEDED ONE HALF A TANK, ON A SMALL CAR AND NU CAR HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME $63.61 (MORE) DOLLARS! SO MY (ONE) DAY CAR RENTAL USING HOTWIRE AND NU CAR RENTAL COST ME $238.72... FOR ONE DAY!

I went to the Source in Gander, Nl to purchase a SD card, Matthew Sheppard (the Sales Associate) asked if I had a Bell account, and he let me know after a couple simple questions that I was due for an upgrade, explained to me about the packaging etc...then about a week later I considered what he had told me and went back and was helped by Matthew, he was awesome. helped me pick the phone, and took the time to change everything from my old one to the new one....Then explained how to use it... Certainly would recommend going to the Source and see Matthew...

Worst hotel experience in my life and I travel for work monthly. From the lady at front desk screaming at her kids while I was trying to check in. Teash everywhere one of the beds had grass and blood all over it the other bed has cigarette burns and " fabric softener stains " rat poop everywhere I was scared to touch anything. I instantly returned to front desk got a refund and left and will never again stay at one of your hotels. I would be ashamed if my name was on this hotel. So bad I will tell everyone I know not to use your hotels. Total bull$#*!

They deactivate your room key card a day early then give you a hard time letting you back in your room because your I.D. Is locked in. Then they tell you that you can leave if you do not like the policy while my things are still in my paid room being held hostage. They won't refund because I used priceline its a 3rd party purchase

Shaw Communications failure to honour incentive pricing offered to customers. An inability to resolve disputes of basic business principles. New equipment malfunctions. A completely dissatisfied new customer experience. I was offered an attractive price and service package to bring my business back after a 6 month departure from Shaw and even though three Shaw agents have listened to the taped call that details the offer and acceptance of the promotional pricing plan, no one is able to honour the agreement. Now after just 3 weeks of service I have two malfunctioning cable boxes, a higher price package then i agreed to and 8-9 calls to the "customer and so called technical service departments wasting no less than 6-8 hours of my personal time with no resolution. On three occasions call takers have "requested" supervisors to contact me or to participate in the current call with no contact from anyone with authority to resolve this matter. I have plainly asked what do we do now with a new 2 year contract initiated with pricing that is higher than agreed to (reviewed and documented by Shaw staff) and yet no one at SHAW has a solution.? I am now out a significant amount of money cancelling my previous, relatively new service provider that I went to six months ago when I wisely left Shaw. Now shame on me yes for getting duped into a return to Shaw with an attractive offer they seem to have NEVER intended to honour. This is not a he says / she says dispute. The calls and offers were taped and reviewed by Shaw staff and verified they were offered to me but no one seems to be able to action it. Now, for three weeks I have cable TV that doesn't work despite remote attempts to reset and correct the malfunctioning boxes and yet they still want me to pay for services not provided which are inflated and not agreed to. Shaw is quick to forward to its collection agencies and to courts to retrieve money from failed obligations by its customers but doesn't seem to be accountable when the roles are reversed. I am now in dispute as to how to proceed with a 2-year obligation I didn't agree to. I am out a few hundred dollars from my previous provider's termination obligation and I will also fees to reconnect with a honourable, reputable provider I should have remained with. The most absurd part of this is there appears to be no way to speak with anyone with authority to resolve this. Unlike Telus or other service providers you cannot ask, demand or request, while speaking with a call center representative, to speak with a supervisor. Twice in the last three weeks I held over 45 minutes on each occasion in hopes of speaking with a supervisor only to have the call taker say "I'm sorry, they don't seem to be available." We had poor customer service years ago with Telus and always said we would never go back but SHAW takes unacceptable customer service to an entirely new level.

I can only rate their internet service and the related help and support. The price of their internet service is far too much and I'm checking out other ISPs. The customer service is good but somewhat slow, but I give the people 4 out of 5 the actual service as a whole very average and way too expensive. Too many interruptions to services with the slowest response time I've ever experienced from a Customer Service. But when u do get anyone they are usually professional and friendly. Oh, and their website and sign in are so confusing you have to register for for everything. Right now, I'm juggling 3 bloody passwords just to get it going. Waste my time, will ya?

I went into the Brick to purchase a NEW box spring. I found that they had some one sale as the style was discontinued. I bought one and rented a u-haul and hired someone to help me bring it home. Upon bringing it home and removing the plastic, I found that the fabric was ripped in two places and stained. I could have had a free box spring online from craigslist or marketplace in better condition. Why buy anything from the Brick when it's in such terrible condition?

The Bay (HBC) has changed their store credit card to a start up called Neo Financial and it was the worse idea ever. Apparently Neo Financial is backed by ATB, but Neo lacks the business accumen to run a financial/credit institution. It seems like they've been to focused on their easily application process that actual banking process. If you're re-applying for the new HBC credit card, take note that you assigned a credit limit and cannot reduce it, even if you call Neo support. They actually tell you that they don't "have a feature" to reduce credit card limits. How ridiculous is that?! What kind of financial institution doesn't set up that feature?! Either they lack the banking knowledge or they're trying to scam people who apply for the HBC credit card, keeping their limit higher than what people actually want. Anyway, if don't need the new HBC credit card, then I'd recommend completely avoiding apply for it through Neo Financial. They're an absolute joke and have zero banking experience.

Too bad zero stars is not an option. Customer service is only available during business hours on weekdays. So if you lose your card or need to contact customer service on the weekends, tough luck! Also they gave me a ridiculously high credit limit. After signing up for the card (in store) I asked that they lower the credit limit - staff told me to call customer service. When I called customer service (on a weekday haha) they told me there is no way to lower the credit limit. That is laughable. What kind of company is this? Very disappointing choice by Hudson’s Bay! I could not cancel this card quick enough!

Four years ago, i choose to purchase nokian tires. Kal tire was the only dealer at the time, i was near the Cochrane, Alberta store. When I dropped the car off a couple days after making the appointment, the man behind the counter smelled very strongly of booze and was behaving in a rather belligerent manner and was not polite at all. I vowed to myself not to go back to this business as the man obviously had no standard as to how to present himself and behave to the customer, while he was still drunk at 9 am in the morning! As i like the tire brand but not the shop, i travelled more than 70 km's to have the vehicle serviced at another kal tire. Two weeks ago my daughter needed new tires and was directed to a deal at the local Kal Tire where i had met the drunkard years previous. We dropped the wheels off to have the new tires mounted. When I returned to pick them up, the Kal Tire Rep behind the counter asked me of my opinion of what i think of the recent alleged pandemic. I stated an opinion that is sound and backed in research, science and 25 years personal experience as a natural health practitioner. Then the tire salesman got loud and stated he was a microbiologist and had the answer to the pandemic (contrary to my opinion) then began to mock me to my face. (I did not remind him at that point of the fact that he was selling tires, not a microbiologists, but did not ask him where his lab was, so i may be remiss as he could actually be doing research after his day job?.) The last 25 years I have been involved in manufacturing and selling microbes for human consumption, I am not university trained, I have real world experience, I know my business. So the sales agent / kal tire representative, ran into the back shop, not knowing I was already there and started spouting off to the other employees and make mocking me of my opinion! ( I sensed he must be a very insecure man of >6 foot size to my <5'8" to have to tell his tire mechanics how smart he is and just called out a customer who had a differing opinion to his). I immediately called him out and asked him to watch what he is saying, and with my toes just over the bay door line, he began yelling and pointing at me and got very aggressive, stating I was not allowed in the shop, causing me to have concern for my safety. My toes were barely over the line, but he came charging and yelling pointing his finger continuing to spout how smart he was! It is really disappointing to have to encounter such individuals who are so intolerant to others opinions that they must bully and demean. KAL TIRE Cochrane, twice your employees had to act in ways that show no respect to another. Not to mention the overall rude attitude. YOU FAIL, negative 5 stars. Unfortunately this system doesn't do negative number ratings. I sent an email to Kal Tire HO and no response after more than two weeks?! Nokian Tyres may want to review what kind of people sell their tyres? The Kal Tire corporate policy appears to support the employee attitude. Sad.

We made a purchase on line and chose NOT to receive promotional emails from Mark's. Despite our choice, we promptly received junk emails form Mark's. In these emails was a click-on for "unsubscribe" but instead of getting unsubscribe confirmation, we were directed to the Mark's website to view more sales. We think that this is done on purpose and is a dishonest and aggressive sales tactic. Mark's should respect customer's wishes and NOT send emails that are not wanted and should fix their "Unsubscribe" problem.

Stuart Diminie the room director is bad at his job. He doesn't take the dangerous homeless issues around his hotel in a serious manner. One time when i saw a well known violent homeless man around the area of his hotel and then went inside to warn him and told him that this person also likes to crap on the floors of bathrooms, he got mad and tried to get me fired from the security company I was working for at the time. Sorry you have such a fragile ego. Also, you lied, I never said I was going to arrest him, I don't have the authority to do that. I said that he has been arrested twice before. Put safety before your ego, the welfare of your guests is more important. What a petty little person you are. P.S. The map that is connected to this post tells you about the crime in Downtown Dallas. The lighter blues indicate low crimes, while the darker blues indicate higher crimes in the region. The black rectangle indicates where the Fairmont Hotel is located.

They make excuses about shipping taking up to 3 weeks, while all other stores ship within a few days. They don't provide you with a tracking number and even if you go to the store directly, they hand you a phone number you can never reach for a tracking number. They tell you in an email that you can track but don't give you the tracking number and if you email them, even repeatedly, they never answer. How stupid is that?

This company seems to be a bit of a gong show. They send out flyers showing products that are On sale. When you phone the store or go there to buy the product, they tell you that it may be a few months before the products get into the store, as the products are sitting in a warehouse. I personally won't be waiting around for that, I will simply go to a competitor and buy the product at a similar price anyway. I would suggest that Management at Princess Auto review their internal workings and resolve this issue because it tells me they are completely unorganized and have no idea what's going on in their own system. And, often, their system shows that they have some products in their store, and after wasting my time and gas going there, the employees tell me that there isn't any more of that item in stock. Time to get their Act together.

The only reason I’m not giving this one star is because I’ve had one successful order with them. The other 3 orders were cancelled and I’m only figuring this out now after paying them over £100 upfront with “buyer protection”. (Which I’m convinced does nothing according to my own and other people’s experience) To find out if your order has been cancelled, you need to go to your page on the website, view orders and tick the box that shows cancelled orders. No email, notification or refunds from the site through PayPal. FAQ is useless at helping you with this problem too. Either they’re really incapable of letting you know when an order can’t go through and refunding automatically, or they know what they’re doing and are trying to quietly sweep your payment under the rug until PayPal can no longer reimburse you the money spent. That’s how they’ve now got over £50 I can’t easily get back.. I really can’t trust this service at all now, currently trying to get my money back through PayPal for my latest cancelled purchase as communication with Remambo is little to none!

What was once one of the best managed hosting has now become one of the worst. Here is our experience #1. Shutting off the server for non-payment, when in fact all invoices were paid. The problem is their insane billing system which automatically marks every invoice as unpaid, even if they are paid automatically with a card on file. #2. DOUBLE charging our card for the supposed non-paid invoices. That's right, they turned off our server for non payment but in fact had been paid twice for the same invoice. #3. Paid for the renewal of SSL certs in Aug. to avoid interruption in coverage, only for them to never have renewed the certs at all. Site went offline in Oct because the cert was never renewed, even tho we paid for it 2 months prev. Took them 13.5 hours to get the site back online. 13.5 hours of down time for something that was paid for 2 months previous. #4. Trouble ticket system is very slow and quite often it will be hours before you get a reply even if you select the highest priority for the ticket. #5 A very large number of emails to customers gets blocked due to the reputation of the IP addresses they use. Very frustrating (and financially damaging) when a customer emails a question or order and you can't answer them. #6. Their billing system is truly the worst I've ever seen. Invoices are not sorted, are out of order and almost always 6 year old invoices are at the top. Then you find invoices marked "unpaid" when in fact they have been paid. The system has a credit card on file and why they keep sending "unpaid" notices when in fact the card has been charged I can't fathom. #7, It just seems like they don't care anymore. It seems the boss is off golfing, sailing or bowling... I don't know but the people in charge are horrible.

Purchased Website Hosting from a reseller of Digitalhost, but then that reseller disappeared. Tried to get my website hosting details directly from Digitalhost, but they refused to provide, saying "Please contact your reseller directly". How can I contact my Reseller if they are no longer in business???? Digitalhosts reply was basically "sorry, but can't help due to our policy" Digitalhost was very unhelpful, had to spend thousands of dollars to get a new website built. Definitely don't recommend.

I would like to start by saying while they have lovely designs they do not follow up, support or stand by promises. I have been dealing with them on a few issues, and while promised to correct still waiting for an email response. Further their suppliers ie JELDWEN windows and doors…..if you have issues apparently you need to open a “ticket” with your home supplier which is LINWOOD to get this corrected. How do you think that is working! Truthfully look at Viceroy or another prefab builder first! VERY ANNOYED and DISAPPOINTED thanks Craig McFarlane for your speedy response (sarcasm)!

Been dealing with them 5 years now & its been up and down with a lot more down than up. In past couple months I've had 1 order screwed up so bad they had no idea where it was weeks after I'd ordered it and I was lucky to get anything, in fact they'd have just not bothered with it since I had to pay in advance (their policy). Ordered a pedal from them now a month ago and they still will not tell me if its shipped or even if the order was placed after taking my money. On top of that now their wanting a "special order" paid up front again on a guitar amp speaker cabinet when its a normal stock item advertised on their website and in store. Again nothing but excuses but instead they're trying to upsell me not 1 but 2 cabinets that will end up costing hundreds or even thousands more by keeping all the affordable units permanently "out of stock". I'm done with them.

I have insured with TD Insurance for years and loved their customer service. I used to get someone in Halifax, Nova Scotia who spoke English well and was more than willing to assist. I have never spent more than a few minutes getting service unless I was doing something very complicated. But that has disappeared. They have outsourced and the phone connections are poor and the spoken English is hard to understand. Spent over two hours this morning trying to transfer my car insurance due to a move and they hung up twice aa nd mostly I was on hold. Then when I thought it was finally transferred she asked if I still wanted BOTH policies. Well, why would I want to drive a car from two different addresses when I had started out by changing my address. I finally gave up and cancelled and will use a local insurance firm where they have customer service. I may pay more but I don't care. I cannot ever deal with their customer service again. I asked if I could go into their local office and sort this out. They said no- everything goes through their centre. Don't bother. Just find another insurer. It is a shame because I used to praise their amazing service which was among the best out there.

A few days ago i start using this website because it seems the offers were good and profitable in a way. Ispecially purchuasing apps and gaming online using their platform. That is what i thought. Here is the complete story: I proceed to register my account, i used my Steam account because i do gaming online using that platform and freecash.com have that option to register instead using your regular email. So far everything worked fine, then after i make my first 25$ purchase to get 35$ back i received a message from their platform saying that my account was banned and blocked, their reason was that as a way of protect themselves from bots they move the customer service to another platform -https://discord.com/ I did opened a ticked there, provided my user ID to get my funds available to cash out and my priviledges restored as they explained in the main site. But no. The answer was that my account was suspended because i was using VPN. It was completely absurd and followed i opened another ticked providing screenshots of my Internet provider and my Ip address as prove that they were wrong. But their answer and action was unilateral. I reached by email their [email protected] complaining formally and at the end the answer from their end was the same. - You are using a VPN - After another reply no respond at all. And to be even more upset i was banned from their customer service at https://discord.com/. I have tried to reach them on Twitter and their other social networks but no answer. My conclusion of that business is that they are a scammers. Specially for users that pay money. Not recommended.

On December 7,2018, as a surprise Christmas gift for my family, I booked a stay at the Radisson Country Inn and Suites in Williamsburg, Virginia. The reservation Was for three rooms for two days. The rate I agreed to was for $123.49 per room. When I received my bank's itemized financial statement, I learned that I was ACTUALLY charged an outrageous $ 280.60 per room. That represented a 37 +% added cost per room that I was legally obligated to pay (because of the 'agreement' each guest must sign!) Because of this experience, I would suggest that any future guest thinking about Staying at a Radisson Hotel exercise the caveat emptor principle before signing on.

My friends and I stayed there this summer and paid cash for our room, and they took the money out of my debit card and have been unwilling to refund us out money. They wouldnt even bring us sheets for the roll out couch we had, when we asked about it the next morning. They replied, "We needed to come down and get out own sheets" What service ha. Take our money and don't give us sheets, then tell us we broke the curtians. I wouldnt go to this hotel ever again, and don't recomend it to others either.

I was looking for a hood fan online and came across the Canadian appliance store online. The deals they had on the website was crazy. They were cheaper than anyone one else. On the website they have a big add on hood fans with crazy discount. So I found the one I wanted (elica 36" hood fan with 600cfm) for 879.00 and on the bottom of price it says free blower. So I thought this is a crazy deal because the original price on this thing is 2295. 00. So I went into the store the located in ottawa ontario to buy the fan and a diahwasher. The store was nice and had alot of different appliances. After looking around a sales person asked if I needed assistance. So I told him what I wanted. It was a Bosch dishwasher and the elica hood fan. As he was doing the pricing for me I saw that there was an extra 400 on the bill. I asked him what that was for and he said that's the motor for the fan. (Because u can't drive a car without an engine that was his response to me) I asked him if that's the same thing as a blower to make sure I read the add right and he said yes its the same. So I told him ur add says free blower. He said it can't be because it doesn't show on my screen. So I pulled it up on my phone and showed it to him. He walks to his manager and shows it to him. He comes back saying its an error on the website. I said it's been advertised since boxing day and we are now a month later you mean to tell me no one came in to buy this unit and no one has payed attention to it? He said people make mistakes and this is a mistake and I can't give it to you for that price because I will loose my job. So I told him but its advertised its not your problem so it should be given to me for that price with the blower. He told me to go read the fine print on the website and it will tell me that they might make mistakes on the website and prices can change (very rudely). So I told him to cancel the order and he said he has no problem doing so. I walked out And called the 800 number and told them what happened. And they said it is a mistake but they can't do anything because the supervisor is not in. So I told them to fix the website. A week later and the deal is still on there. The website is a scam because once your in the store to buy prices go up. It's false advertising just to get people in the store and the sales person that I was dealing with was very rude. I will never buy from them and if anyone does I suggest to check all prices before buying

Hi everyone who may read this. I am writing to complain about CANADA APPLIENCES superficial attitude and inability to solve a problem, created by them and not by me I have purchased last week a wall oven where it was sold to me by your sales in CAS Etobicoke store. This unit was declared as OPEN BOX but, for me it was presented as a unit sealed in an original package / box and was not possible to inspect. If this was an "open box" or "floor model" as they wish to call it; either way this should be accessible for me or anyone for inspection of any physical damages prior to purchase. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL and sale associate is my witness (I hope). Once upon my return home, I have opened this box and removed all original wrappings, I realised that the unit was mishandled, dropped or so. The oven body is all crooked and misaligned. The interior cavity measuring diagonally is showing 28" by 28.5" which is obvious deterioration. This stress caused interior blue enamel to chip off in three places which is now a health hazardous issue for my family. Images of all this damages were sent respectively to CAS for their review and further action. I simply cannot believe that Canada Appliances (known as CAS) and claim department rejected my claim completely without even trying to help or understand the matter. They have ignoring the fact that the mentioned OVEN could not be inspected by me or anyone else. As a customer I was fooled into buying something that looked as new and unpacked. I am sure that someone at the showroom office knew that the same unit was bad and because of it was never opened or presented as an open box item. Well, it was not an OPENED BOX or FLOOR MODEL to me or anyone else by the definition of open or unopened box meaning. It is also noted in CAS system under my purchase order that BOX was not opened, not inspected. CAS simply ignored that and the best they can do was: "WE ARE SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE". As an Architect, I was ordering so many appliances thru CAS company and their sales staff knows me (other then the last one). Unfortunately it was in a showroom I did not go earlier. Yet, when it comes to my purchase they have shown me total disrespect, ignorance to do something to help for what is totally not my fault. Nor I was able to act accordingly before purchase. This is totally unprofessional, unfair and careless from CANADA APPLIENCES. For all of you potential buyers, please BE AWARE before you commit. Numbers found were out-of-service. The company collects through "moneybookers.com"--who then posts it as from "Blueleaf International Ltd." When you go to the site... it states "prepaidgametime.com" in the URL bar... further searches yielded an additional site "organicsonly.ca" under the same company title:"Blueleaf International Ltd.". Ironically, the site says that: "Blue Leaf's main industry is eCommerce" The "commerce" part is collecting payments for unshipped goods from unsuspecting customers, then holding the money until the purchase reaches the dispute level with the Credit Card company... nice work if you can get it! I started dispute with my Credit Card Company, and they found it strange that the site would be out of Canada, charging CAD dollars, yet was processed in EUROS from an external site in GREAT BRITAIN. This is a HUGE Scam... find your favourite Canadian Treats elsewhere--you will never see the product you purchased! Buyer beware

Overall very happy with Miracle Movers we used them again this year to move in Scarborough. This time we had a lot more furniture and we needed the packing service. Dima and Max came to our house the day before the move and worked efficiently all day with my partner and the place was ready to go on moving day. Moving day went very well although there was a slight delay in the traffic, but these things happen. The price was fair and the guys installed my wardrobes etc in my new studio. So if you have delicate expensive stuff the Miracle Men are the guys to call.

The past couple of years I have been extremely disappointed in the delivery of service. The people on the phones, all but one have been quite lovely to deal with, however it does not solve my issues. This would be an extremely long rant if i dived into detail, so I'll try and keep this short. Most recent issues, still unresolved: PROBLEM 1. Ordered a freezer in April as ours Died. ETA was end of March no freezer several calls in was told repeatedly no freezer till at least NOVEMBER! Did I mention, I have no freezer. And that No Company was able to provide a freezer. Found one that I could get locally. WOW suddenly this freezer has been delivered at the end of May when we tried to cancel the order. It is now the end of June with no answer as to returning this freezer! PROBLEM 2: Ordered deck furniture with an ETA of June 3rd. Hadn't heard anything, so during one of my Many calls to Directbuy of Central Alberta, I inquired about the deck furniture. It was discovered it was at the warehouse. We did not receive any notification. I checked my junk mail, my emails, deleted and active... NOTHING. Ok, lets move on... I was provided a contact number to make arrangements for pickup... no One answered the several attempts throughout the days! So I called Directbuy back... I could arrange to pickup Tuesday through Friday 10am to 3pm? Seriously? So I would now need to take a day off work to pick up OR I could pay $94.50 for delivery... luckily it ended up being one box as they were going to charge me $150 'cause initially it was coded as 4 boxes. It has now been 1 week since I paid for this service and NO ONE has contacted me to make delivery arrangements! Through all of this I was constantly told someone will get back to me within 24 to 48hours (email/phone)... NOT ONCE have I received followup email or phone call... I have ended calling them after about 3-4 days each time. Only to be told its COVID. I work in an industry that has slowed things down due to volumes and people working from home, so if it will take longer than normal, the expectation is set up front... Dealing with Directbuy has been a nightmare. As of June 30,2021 both issues remain outstanding! I won't even begin to discuss other issues. If you want to challenge your patience purchase a membership... otherwise I would recommend saving your money and sanity and shop at your community stores. UPDATE: July 13,2021. Still unresolved! Instead I received an email stating my Ashley furniture order is now ready for PICKUP! Seriously? I had to call yet again... to find out if their has been any updates to our freezer issue. Apparently we are stuck with a 2nd freezer and potentially extra warehouse storage fees! I still haven't heard from the manager.

My wife and I went to a seminar designed to bolster the Directbuy membership. They will tell you that you have to buy "stuff" anyway so why not get a discount and cut out the middle man by joining there "exclusive" club. We paid $5000 to become members for 10 years with no payments. We did not realize until after we had paid the $5000 and became members that they don't have discounts on everything you want to buy. They only have discounts on predominately high end "stuff". Stuff that usually exceeds what we want to spend on the particular item we are shopping for. We wanted to buy blinds for all the windows in our house. Naturally we went to direct by to purchase the blinds and when we priced them out the blinds that they sell were beyond our budget. Not to mention the fact that when we were trying to price out the blinds with Directbuy the customer service response to questions and their lack of returning phone calls was absolutely unacceptable for the amount of money that we paid to become members. Since becoming members we have only made three purchases through direct buy. Yes we saved money on the things that we bought had we tried to buy them somewhere else. But the bottom line is we paid $5000 to become a member. I don't ever see us recapturing that money in the savings that we were told could be recaptured in a few years. The membership is nothing short of snake oil. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It may appeal to the demographic of people with an income of a quarter of $1 million a year but that is not us. We could have used that $5000. We have said that to ourselves time and time again since. If you do decide to become a member of this buyers club don't anticipate recapturing your money anytime soon unless you buy a lot of "stuff".

I've been shopping here at least 10 yrs & with this covid19 they put a limit of toilet paper to 1 roll per person. I was at the store March 23 2020 & witnessed 3 patrons complaining bout this lady in line buying 2 large pkgs of toilet paper. The staff was laughing at these patrons being upset I felt that was disgusting. Turns out she worked thier & she was a manager. To do that in front of people who couldn't find toilet paper anywhere is disgusting & for customer service & cashiers to laugh bout it DISCUSTING

What is wrong with these idiots. For years new every software change just makes it worse, their cllck fraud paid ad thing, getting rid of html editing, capping the number ads (I'm an individual selling used stuff, not a business) and so on. It was such a good system, Its like they; ve got a bunch of programmers and have to dream up $$#*! up for them to do. Meanwhile they make it impossible to talk to them to express the concerns. What sort of business tries to isolate itself from its customers? One that's not going to last.

The new review system they have just put into place is an absolute joke. Demanding 10 messages back and forth before you can give a review. Most times I will have 2 - 4 before I give them my cell to get the address from. If I decide to 'buy. I just bought a book scanner from a guy in courtice ontario. We had about a dozen messages back and forth before we went to text for the address etc. the deal went through without a hitch the product was exactly as stated ( actually far better than his ad. Yet, kijiji, will not let me post a review of the transaction with him. Barry Ad ID 1475218805. I am landlord who had house & tenant insurance with this group. Place was vandalized, by tenant. Police report filed. Wawanesa sent out a claims inspector. Guess what; hardwood floors No Damage! Wear and tear, oh no that's water damage. Cupboard handles broken off, oh ‘easy replacement' cupboard door missing, oh you have $1000. Deductible no use claiming that. Metal door had dents in it. ‘Oh they must have had something the door banged into when they opened it'. Seriously, a metal door! Transferred Insurance Companies immediately. This is terrible place to get any sort of insurance from as they will not help at all and lack any accountability. An entitled woman shoved me off the road because she was talking on the phone and made my car roll half a dozen times and this terrible company failed to verify any information on the police report, if they had they would had seen that the person has a history of insurance fraud. Yelp removed one of my posts so I am going to post my real account of what happened on here. They only bring you despair and grief, I now have some disabilities from this and a ton of emotional distress and despair.

They trick you into making an account, once made the account seems impossible to delete. I contacted them about having it deleted, considering private information like your sin number is on there. They replied after a few days but wouldn't actually tell me how. I think I figured it out (Tap menu, account, use toggle to opt out of MogoProtect) but I'm not completely sure if it worked. I regret getting involved and sharing my information with this weird company. Even the deletion questions were misleading and manipulative, insinuating that closing the account would put me at risk for fraud, disgusting strategy.

Mogo.ca is tries to present itself as a cool online financial lending company. But truthfully mogo.ca is a sinister and predatory financial lending company with nefarious intentions of scamming the financially gullible. And gouging people with poor credit history. They are no different from all those shady money and payday lending institutions that you find around the corner in poorer neighbourhoods, only that mogo is worse, they are online. Mogo.ca tries to portray a youthful, smiley, happy voice, cool generation X type language on their website and thru their customer service agents. Don't be fooled by their happy smiley tone of voice. Mogo.ca is a predatory that has evolved in appearance but deadlier than the rest. Two months ago after I had seen their advert on the Toronto subway, i got interested. The advert amongst others, promised a free monthly equifax credit score monitoring and reporting service. That to me translates to about 9 dollars a month of free equifax credit monitoring service. So my friend and I signed up for mogo.ca. For me, I did not want a loan, I just wanted the free equifax credit score monitoring service, however my friend wanted a quick small loan of $2500. 1 Mogo.ca had advertised and promised for a free mogo secured credit/debit card on signing up. To this day, I have never got that secure card. When I login online, In place of my mogo secured card, i get an info message that says. Mogo card, we are in beta mode, we are sending out invites, you are on the waiting list 2 Mogo.ca advertised and promised an immediate pre-approval for loans based on one's equifax credit score. Its two months now, I have not received any pre-approval for a loan. My online dashboard has an info message that reads: Sorry, you are not yet pre-approved, We are always updating our pre-approval process, stay tuned. 3 Mogo.ca advertised and promised a free equifax credit score. Its over two months now, I have yet to receive any equifax credit score. On my online dashboard, where my credit score would show, There is a permanent error messages that attempts to be cool, and reads: Weird, but looks like the credit bureau doesnt have any data on your credit. Give Equifax Canada a call at 1.800.465.7166 So, I called equifax, they advised me to get my full credit report from their website or wait for a credit report without a beacon score to be mailed to me. I opted to use my own credit card on equifax website and bought my credit report and credit score information, which I hold in my hand this very moment. My equifax beacon score is 822. (Excellent). And guess what?, My equifax report showed that mogo had accessed and queried my credit score twice on the same day of my online application at mogo.ca. One query was a hard query, while the other was a soft query. I phoned mogo.ca and asked why they seem not to locate my credit information and yet it clearly showed on my credit report that they had queried my credit. Besides, I had also provided to Mogo, my SIN number, date of birth and on top of that, an electronic identity check which is performed by mogo.ca thru equifax at online signing up was successful. My identity had been confirmed or else account creation would have terminated. After the phone call, all that the mogo agent could say was that they were going to get back to me., I was expecting them to ask me so send some identity documents etc, which they never did. Even tho I have had a mogo account for over two months, there still remained one problem. I was unable to verify my phone number. The online system was supposed to send me a text message or a voice message to my mobile number so as to verify my number. But no matter how many times i requested a verification online, the system just does not send me the verification code. So, I gave up and left the mogo account dormant for a month until today. So today, I decided to call mogo.ca to find out what was going on with my account. They finally told me that I was denied a loan. I also asked why I was unable to verify my number, the agent told me to hold on while he checked. Guess what? 2 mins letter, the phone went dead. So I decided to use their online chat insead to find out why inspite of being employed and having a good credit score without any debts, I would be denied a pre-approval? Besides, I wanted to know if I would still be getting a free equifax credit report every month even if i was denied. The agent on the chat told me that yes, I would still get a free credit score every month, and that, their system reviews accounts continually and that a NO today maybe a yes tomorrow if my indicators changed to be favourable to mogo.ca lending requirements. So I logged into to my mogo account, and there still was the message, that they were unable to get my equifax credit report, even if they said I was denied. So I decided to call mogo again and ask, since the chat was detiously slow. The agent took a while each time before replying. The agent on the phone this time was rude, arrogant and very impatient. I asked if indeed mogo had got a copy of my credit report, he could never answer with a yes or no to my question. I asked him if mogo denies people with stella credit reports. He said its the mogo computer system that decides automatically, so he cant answer the question. I asked if they had a copy of ny credit report. He was short of admitting that they had a copy of my credit report from equifax but repeated to me that: "apart from mogo.ca using equifax credit score, be it good or bad, mogo.ca uses complicated algorithms to determine legibility and that these algorithms use multiple indicators like, employment, payment ability, liquidity, earning ratio etc etc". The agent continued to avoid my questions, on what went wrong with my applications. He decided to become rude, he raised his voice in an attempt to psychological intimidate me, so that I would not ask any more why questions, But I just kept calm and asked him instead to calm down and to be patient as well as to hear me out. I think this rattled him. He then changed tactics and tried speaking to me in that mogo type condescending yet happy voice, the voice that an english speaker uses when he encounters a native of a foreign island who does not speak english. He expected that I would get angry. But I obliged him and calmly persevered. He tried talking to me as if I was stupid and I could not understand mogo.ca algorithms. I just instead humbled down and asked him more questions. It was clear that the agent got irritated and lost his cool. He then said he had to go, there were other customers waiting on the phone line. I accepted his request and asked one more fina question. I asked him how I could close my account. He got angry and lost his cool, he did not anser my question but was, screaming and being tense. "is there anything else i can do for you? He just hanged up the phone on me, before I could say 'no and thank you'. My friend on the other hand, who has a relatively not great equifax score of 649 and several late payments but no delinquency on his equifax record, was pre-approved for a loan of $1400. He accepted the $1400, and was shocked when mogo.ca debited $220 from his bank account, each month for two months. In his mind he thought that he had paid off $440 of the $1400 loan to mogo.ca. I guess he had not read the fine prints clearly. When he phoned mogo, Only to find out that the $440 was just the interest and was not the principle. He still owed the $1400 principle to mogo. He nearly had a heart attack. He was livid. He then had to borrow money elsewhere from a friend and paid of the whole amount of the mogo loan. Buy yet to discover that on the third month, there was still another $57, that was debited from his account by mogo. He phoned mogo, to find out what the $57 was for. Tthats when the at first nice happy go lucky voice of the mogo agent, turned from being angelical to devilish. The agent became rude, tried to bully my friend, tried to make it look like it was my friend who is an idiot and he spoke as if my friend was trying to take advantage of mogo.ca. He continued to rumble as if mogo.ca was a savior to my friend, and it was my friend that does not understand mathematics and he was not there to teach him that. My friend was so angry. I had to calm him down. Now he does not want to ever hear the word mogo again. Nor did he get to understand what the $57 dollar debit was all about. He just closed his account with mogo. I on the other hand, will wait to see if mogo will send me the free credit report, they promised. It is obvious that mogo agents are trained to handle customers in a certain ways, depending on various situations. But all in all, these mogo agents are trained to be nasty people, like boiler room collection agents. Sadly lots of people are bullied and intimidated by these mogo agents and end up paying thru their teeth and nose. I wonder if mogo agents get any sort of commissions? I also wonder how many of mogos customers have indeed gotten a personal loan at a rate of 5.9%. How honest is their interest rate determining system. So if credit score alone is not the determining factor for what interest rate to charge, what is? IT IS ALSO BLATANTLY OBVIOUS THAT MOGO.CA HAS BEEN FALSELY ADVERTISING WITH FAKE PROMISES INORDER TO LURE CUSTOMERS TO SIGN UP. MOGO.CA HAS FAILED TO DELIVER ON PROMISES OF SERVICES FOR WHICH THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DELIVERING AS OF YET. SO WHY DOES MOGO ADVERTISE FOR SOMETHING THAT THEY STILL DONT HAVE IN PLACE. WHY DONT THEY INFORM PEOPLE THAT THESE SERVICES ARE YET TO COME AT TIME OF ADVERTSISING. THEY MISREPSENT AS IF THE SERVICES ARE ALREADY IN EXISTENT. IN THAT WAY, I WOULD NOT HAVE WASTED MY TIME SIGNING UP. IT IS PRACTICALLY A SCAM, WHEN A COMPANY LURES NEW CLIENTS WITH PROMISES THAT THEY CANT DELIVER..

Let me begin by saying that my new greenhouse looks great! From my first contact through assembly, the customer service teams were helpful, thorough and there whenever we had a question. The greenhouse was well-packed and arrived without damage - and kudos to the delivery truck driver who was able to get up my driveway. Assembly instructions were easy to follow & my 3-person team had the greenhouse built in less than a day. The hardest part is deciding just how I want the inside laid out for the best use of space… Thank you Roost & Root!

We made travel arrangements with Airline Ticket Centre before. The service was beyond expectations. Travel was booked for first weeks of reopening the air travel post Covid; (summer '21). The airports imposed additional checks which made for a very slow boarding. We missed our flight to Europe. Joe worked tirelessly to rebook us for same flight the next day. Unfortunately at that time the airport had ticketing issues due to a network outage which caused some people to miss their boarding. We followed Joe's advice and headed straight to the booth of the on duty manager who got in a direct call from Airline Ticket Centre; problem solved ! I strongly recommend Airline Ticket Centre for their friendly and professional travel service. Thanks so much, you are the best !

We just started with Cintas in the last 2 months. 3 of our dispensers have broken and the drain fluid for one of our products did not get filled. When the batteries die we were told they would replace them, however the driver has to be notified first. They don't keep batteries on hand. I tried customer service for the drain fluid and no one would return my call. We are in Ft. Pierce Fl and although our initial representative was nice and "sold us" he did not follow up on customer service to get sure our products worked. I would not recommend this company again to any of my affiliates. I tried to include a video of our non working paper towel dispensers but it wouldn't let me. The driver Mike tries to be helpful and he is a nice guy. The salesperson Mike did us an injustice for the prices we pay. Two thumbs down to this company.

DO NOT RENT FROM MAINSTREET! READ THE REVIEWS! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. The management is unresponsive to any and all requests and extremely rude when you call. They have a new resident manager every month. This is not even the worst of it... please read on. The buildings... (pics included) are not well kept, they have extreme bug problems with roaches and bed bugs, etc. The 5 other suites on our floor alone have collectively been fumigated approx. 20 times in the 8 months we have lived at this building, not even counting the floors below us. The "secured" entrance is a joke, we literally have homeless people who sleep in the entrance and do drugs/graffiti on the walls. Granted, Mainstreet does try to scrub off the graffiti but that's about all they do about it. There is a lady who vacuums the hallways and that is ALL the cleaning that gets done. There's even a gigantic hole in the wall of the laundry room that has been there since before we moved in April 2017. Plus the dryers (washers and dryers are EXPENSIVE) leave your clothes sopping wet, and the washers smell moldy. We don't even do our laundry at home anymore. If you go see one of these apartments and think "it doesn't seem that bad" you are wrong. They will clean it just enough so it looks ok in a showing, then you'll move in and notice it's falling apart and things are crawling in the walls. You'll call them, thinking "well, they must be able to help with this, I JUST moved in." but no, they will tell you that it's basically not their problem, they will constantly refer you back to your resident manager who constantly refers you back to the office. Nothing will get done, you will be stuck in your lease, and if you try to leave, they will come after you for every penny. Even if your suite is in alright condition, which ours is, the doors are crooked/falling off the hinges, 2 out of 4 stove elements haven't worked since we moved in, and this winter there is 2-inch thick ice on all our windows and it's FREEZING. The heat is technically "working" but honestly each one of these buildings should be condemned. When they do come into the building, it's for their own purposes and the don't even post accurate notices. They will post a notice that says Friday between 9-5 and show up on Thursday at 3. Or they post a notice and don't even show up. There were 2 long weekends (Good Friday, and again at Thanksgiving) where there was no hot water in the entire building for 4+ days. We called them Friday and Saturday and they told us "no hot water is not considered an emergency so someone will be there after the long weekend." They didn't even come on the Tuesday, but the Wednesday after the long weekend. Your safety and comfort as a tenant is their absolute LAST priority. Just as an example, we had OUR OWN CAR towed from our parking stall because it had no plate for literally like 3 days. We later called to have an unauthorized vehicle removed from our spot and they would not help. SELF-SERVING AND UNHELPFUL! I am personally offended by how Mainstreet treats their tenants. It is the WORST company I've dealt with. As you can imagine with management this poor, their screening process is honestly non-existent. Anyone can live in these buildings, they are NOT family friendly, and they are not safe. There is a suite down the hall with at least 8 tenants (1-3 bdrms) These apartment buildings are the SLUMS of Edmonton. If you want a safe, clean, bug-free place to live, DO NOT RENT HERE. If you want a responsive, reasonable landlord, DO NOT RENT HERE. If you want fair rent for what you are getting, DO NOT RENT HERE. IGNORE THE MAINSTREET EMPLOYEE WHO GOES ON AND ARGUES WITH THE REVIEWS - LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE POSTING THESE REVIEWS, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN! Please, if you respect yourself and the people you live with, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM MAINSTREET EQUITY. LIVE LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. I have nothing to gain from writing this, other than to expose an actual SLUM LORD.

I purchased 4 sweaters with the understanding that I would be returning two of them. When I tried to do a return, they offered store credit only because the sweaters were sale items. The sweaters were $200 and reduced in price by $10. Big deal! Because they were on sale, I received store credit only. This is an example of corporate greed. I don't support this kind of business model. So disappointed.

I buy from this company a lot. I am a very skinny and petite person and they make all their products in my size. For the most part the quality is good even though there is still a range. I have had no problems with shipping and I have lost track at this point how many clothing items of theirs that I own.
