I recently purchased software from WallingDataSystems, all correspondance was done over email which I was a little apprehensive about to start, but it proved a delight! Everytime I had a question there was an answer within hours (we are on oppositte ends of the globe) and even after making stupid mistakes myself in getting the software working, the representative was always patient and helpful. Service was outstanding from minute 1! I did have some install issues with the AVG software and Luke provided prompt, continuous help until it was resolved. This was the 2nd time Luke Walling provided such outstanding service - the first was 11/2003 after I purchased another AVG software product. I will purchase from Luke again!

Like so many other comments, I ordered 4 sticks of 1GB RAM. The sticks were just tossed into a small plastic bag that was cut/heat sealed. It's quite clear that the RAM was stored improperly, perhaps in a large storage bin, because at arrival I could already see a loose part inside the _sealed_ package - looked like a capacitor. Further inspection revealed _identical_ damange to 2 of the 4 sticks, but only 1 loose part - meaning the other one was broken BEFORE it was even packaged! I didn't even want to try putting the other two sticks into my computer, fearing it might damage something. There is no identification of the manufacturer of the RAM, and therefore no recourse for RMA/warranty except AIB itself. And then, like all the other comments, you find that they never answer your e-mail (it's been one week now without any response), phone calls take you on a loop and finally end in an answering machine, and their "live" chat is never online. So there you are - stuck with broken memory and nobody to contact. Will be disputing charges with credit card and filing complaints with BBB and AG for fraud.

Using their Buyaib.com Memory Configurator page, I ordered two sticks of 256mb memory for my HP Pavilion 7850 that the page told me would be compatable with my computer. Once I got the memory and installed them into my computer the memory would not work with it. I would return the memory, except that I refuse to pay the s&h fee PLUS a %15 restocking fee for something that is not my fault. Not to mention they have the most complicated method I've ever seen for returning a product. I have also emailed the company and told them about my problem 3 days ago (of this writing) and have not got a response back and it is now too late to return what I ordered because I've past the 7 day return policy.

I ordered a DSC-F828 for about 740 before shipping. They tried to sell me a few things but were not pushy. When I refused Mark responded that my item would not ship until late the following week then would not arrive until late the week after that. So almost three weeks after purchase I would recieve the camera. I asked for any type of shipping upgrades and he said none were available because they would be closed in the following days ie the middle of the week, and weedays in the following week. It takes one to two days to ship it and it was in stock. I say bull. Another company from a long list that just tried to snag me into wasting money on astronomically overpriced accessories who give a cold shoulder to those just wanting the camera.

Just to add to this - it is now August 22 and still not credit. Around the first of August, we had a shipping company trying to call us to confirm shipment of a tv from them!! We had already gotten the same tv elsewhere and was already in our living room besides the fact that we had cancelled the order and were told we would have our credit in 3-5 days! We should have read the other reviews first. The ones that we read when we ordered are no where to be found now. We ordered July 1 and 21 days later, they still can not find our tv or provide a tracking # - their reply "it must have been stolen" Told them to cancel. They offered an upgrade but "oh wait, they are out of that one too". Said we found the tv elsewhere and to credit our credit card. Still no credit showing - they charged it the day of the order but can't seem to credit it a week later. Our credit card company is filing a dispute for us. Will not answer your email and when you call, good luck at getting someone to answer. I would not do business with them again under any circumstances!

When I contacted allmediaoutlet it took three emails to even get them to understand that I received the wrong media and then they would not even own up to thier mistake, probably deliberatly selling Ricoh as Ritek! I received a Tamron Lens from US1Photo in early Oct 2009. I proceeded to use the lens for approx. 6 weeks and began to have issues with the lens binding when moving it. I called US1Photo on 11/11 and spent about 30 mins on the phone with 2 people, at which point they requested some time to review the situation and would call me back. 2 days later I received a call and a follow-up e-mail stating I should send the lens into Tamron for Warranty service and used the Tamron Warranty form US1Photo sent me. Tamron REJECTED the warranty service as US1PHOTO is NOT an authorized dealer for Tamron. So now I am stuck with a less than functioning lens. THE MORAL IS: DO NOT BUY FROM ANY STORES THAT ARE NOT AUTHORIZED DEALERS - at least if you are buying a Tamron (which by the way is a really good lens). US1PHOTO is NOT listed among the many Authorized Dealers on Tamron's web site - something I have never run into previously with any other electronics supplier.

I ordered a cell phone battery for my panasonic phone. It was allure and I ordered a titanium eb-tx310 battery that was advertised as 800 to 1000mah. It arrived silver instead of titanium and was only a 650mah power. I returned the item and e-mailed customer service over and over with no response. Now I don't even have the wrong item. I'm out 34 dollars and am a little angry.

I have placed 2 orders with Iguana Labs, and both shipped out the very next day. Packaging was very good, and all parts arrived in perfect condition. Service is very quick and friendly. I'm an electronics newbie, and the included documentation (with the microprocessor kit) was invaluable, and even I was able to build circuits, program microprocessors, and write/compile my own code in a new project. This is a great deal for beginners like me. Iguana Labs are a 10 in my book.

I actually called the company before placing an order on OCZ 9600 blades, and they had told me that they would have the memory on the 11th, and would be able to ship them then. So when they didn't ship on the 11th, I opened a ticket, and asked what the delay was. Apparently I was lied to on the phone to boost sales, and they said that the parts would come in on the 18 IF ocz was able to ship the parts. I worked in shipping and receiving at an electronics manufacturer for a year, so I basically know what that means. They ran out of binned 9600 memory, and now they are waiting to bin more so they can ship. Definitely not what I signed up for. This happened again on the 23rd, will probably continue to happen. The last time I emailed them they haven't even bothered to respond still. I'm not sure about Canada, but in USA this is considered a fraudulent sales practice. Poor customer service, Fraud... these guys are horrid. Really, 0 out of 5 stars, nearing up on a month and nothing to show for the good practice of calling ahead and asking before I order. I will never buy from memory depot again.

Great People to deal with if you don't mind waiting two weeks for a system. I was able to customize the PC I wanted for a great price!! The only thing that you need to be weary of is that they don't always give you the same parts that you ordered. ie: I ordered a case with front USB ports and mine does not have them. Oh well, I can always add ports to an empty drive bay when I am ready to use the front ports. They packaged the product very good as the computer came without a ding or a scratch in sight. I ordered an OEM sound card on Friday, January 10, 2003. They had the best price on the web. I got an e-mail confirmation of my order on Monday the 13th, but no shipping info. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to wait to see if the item would arrive. It did, the next Monday, the 20th. The item was well packed and exactly what I ordered. Aside from the lack of communication, this was a good transaction.

I purchased a gaming computer from Tantus in February. I had trouble with it when it first came which was from a manufacturer defect from the motherboard company. They were quite efficient in handling the problem when it was returned to them and had me up and running in no time. It has been a great system and was well worth the money. Ed is phenomenal at cunstomer satisfaction issues and personally handled all of my troubles even contacted me on a weekend to update me.I highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a custom built affordable system.It is all top of the line and flying with all gaming use so far.Note to Tantus keep Ed!! Heres the deal: I purchased a case with 300w power supply on the ninth of september, along with all the other parts for a computer i was putting together. within one and a half weeks, i had gotten everything EXCEPT my case. I decided to cut them some slack, even though an invoice email i was sent after purchasing said my case would ship in 2-3 days. Finally, as of the 19th, i still had no case, so i sent them a restrained email asking for some information about my case within a week. 5 days later, i wrote them a much more threatening message saying they had 3 days to get in contact with me. Still nothing, and now i am going to bring my business elsewhere, write this report, and talk to someone about their illegally billing me(you can't accept payment until the order has left the dock). For your sake and mine, please do NOT ever ever buy anything from this company.

Below was posted 9/26/02 - I now receive my Credit Card bill to discover that the BILLED ME for parts that we had NEVER RECEIVED. Not only are they extremely dishonest, they are apparently fraudulently processing payments. -------Original Message----- I purchased an item on 09/05/02. Immediate received an order confirmation e-mail stating "Will ship in 2-3 days". I allow 2 weeks to pass, as I was out of the office for one of those weeks. I called and left a few messages with no response. I finally received a response to a short, direct e-mail where I quoted their own shipping policy. The next day I received a ship notification from UPS. I waited until the approximate ship date from UPS had passed and called UPS to discover that the package hadn't even been picked up yet. I called the office and was shocked to have an actual person answer the phone. I explained the situation and was put on hold, off and on, for a total of 15 minutes. By this time I was completely offended by the lax, unprofessional attitude of this company. The "customer service rep" then actually tried to lie to me by saying the freight had already shipped. Too late, I had already called UPS. She claimed it could take 2 days to show up on the system, but since I am the shipping manager and purchasing manager, I knew that was a bogus excuse and that my order hadn't even been placed. I just cancelled the order. She claimed that I would have to refuse the package because it was en route, but no package has materialized. In short DO NOT PURCHASE from this company unless you don't mind waiting 4+ weeks for your order.

Their order authentication/fraud protection process consisted of forcing me (the cardholder) to call during business hours and state my name and order number. They asked for no further info to verify that I was who i said I was. This offered no real protection from fraud. A person committing fraud could easily call in and claim to be me. Such a process serves only to inconvenience the customer and potentially delay an order. In my opinion, they should either drop the verification process entirely or make it meaningful. The CSR I spoke with was unaccommodating and slightly rude. They automatically started sending me their sales newsletter without my request or permission. Most sites use a checkbox during the ordering process to allow the user to opt out. On a positive note, the item shipped on the day the order was placed and arrived undamaged.

I ordered on the 26th of June, right away received a back order email, saying that the products would be delivered approximately 3 weeks. I checked the status on its website weeks after weeks and it was still on back order. I attempted to contact the phone number listed on the site, but I only got the voice mail. Finally, almost 1 month later, I sent an email and got a reply back saying that my order would be shipped the next business day. ---------- "Sorry for delay! Your order will be shipped on 07/28/03" -------------------- That is the actualy reply I received back. Terrible customer service, can't contact by phone. I would not recommend this to anybody. Note: My card was charged full amount right away after my order.

Order a DVD from them on 12/16/02, they charged my credit card that day, one month and 2 emails (12/31/02 and 01/08/03) later, I only got computer generated email messages saying that they will check into the order. My order still shows as "Processing." These people have no clue how to take care of their customer. It's unethical that they took my money, and one month later, still haven't deliver the goods (what are we, still in the stone ages ?) Totally UNETHICAL !! It's a pitty that I did have a previous good experience with them. You can only be sucker once before you realized they don't care about you. You can just roll the dice, and try your luck. and then maybe you'll be in my situation chalking up another bad merchant. Btw, I called my credit card company and requested a charge back on these people.

Resellerratings, I was building a computer for my brother in law and had him to order his parts from aic micro. I had never done business with them before, they seemed to have good prices. We ordered an asus motherboard combo with an xp 2800 hundred processor and samsung 512mb of enhanced pc3200 ram. they shipped us the correct motherboard and processor, but sent us kingston value ram in place of the samsung. original invoice number was 1012978, rma number for returning the ram was 072803-2. we sent the ram back on july 28th 2003 and have still not received a credit for the ram that they charged us 100.00 even for. I would not recommend anyone doing business with them. for several reasons, one being that they sent us the wrong part and even noted on the invoice they knew it was wrong and still sent it, then have not credited my brother in laws account and it has been over a month. we have called them and they have received the ram, but still have not returned our money to the account. I ordered an Epox 8rda+ from these guys, it turned out to be dead. So I RMA'd it within their small window of 15 days. When I called to confirm that they recieved it they said they would test it and then ship out a new motherboard if it turned out to be broken. I called 3 days later to check the status, and Felix of the RMA dept. confirmed the board was dead and going back to the manufacturer. He refused to send me a replacement 8rda+ until he got the dead replacement back from Epox. I thought this was ridiculous and demanded he send out a replacement or I would be forced to cancel my order and dispute any charges with the credit card company, as well as report them to the BBB, whos logo they display on their website. After all the same person told me that he would test it and send a replacement just 3 days earlier. This guy Felix was trying to delay for some unknown reason. I asked the sales person if they had any Epox 8rda+'s in stock and they said yes, they had them in stock. When I asked Felix if they had them in stock, he immediately said they didn't and I would have to wait for Epox to send back a replacement. I called Felix on this and said I had checked the stock before I talked to him, after few seconds he HUNG UP! I immediately called back and asked to speak with the manager or supervisor in charge and was told he wasn't in. I explained the situation to the person answering the phones that I was hung up on and said I would be reporting them to the BBB and my credit card company for what Felix in the RMA dept. did. This got her attention and she said she would send an Epox 8rda+ out today and I would have a tracking number tommorrow. We'll see...

My Timex Ironman 5B111 Wrist Watch arrived 8/30/06 after being ordered 8/28/06 from WatchOutlet.com, who gave great service throughout, from response to email, online shopping experience and shipping. The watch is a great PDA with Timex software that lets you enter contacts, schedules, appointments, birthdays/anniversarys, and much more. Also import and export CSV files of these. Transfer from PC to watch by proprietary USB cable was quick.

The discounted Timex Rush VO2 watch I received did not work when I first tried it. I emailed them immediately and requested that a replacement watch be sent without additional shipping charges. Their response was hostile and they refused to pay for shipping. I will never deal wtih them again.

Purchased a Canon 40 D package from them at there store, located in Brooklyn. The store is small, yet packed with cameras and accessories. I showed them the package I noticed online and wanted to know if they could change the lens. I was apprehensive at first because the package was lower priced then B&H. I drove from New Jersey just to make sure the deal was real. The whole process took 15 minutes and I was back on the road in traffic playing with my camera. Next time I will order online ship it to New Jersey and not have to pay the sales tax.

I ordered on December 6th the following items: - Perfect Pancake - Quick Chop I had expected the order to be shipped the next business day (as described on their website. "Availability: Usually ships on the next business day." Nope... I emailed them about a week later and customer service said the following (on December 13th): "We have received your order and it is being processed for shipping by our warehouse. Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email giving you the details about the tracking information etc." Another 3 days pass (on (December 16th) I FINALLY get a confirmation email that it has been shipped with a tracking number. I receive the package another 4 days later only to find that they shipped the wrong items!!! I received the Quick Chop, but instead of the Perfect Pancake, I got a cheaper imatation (Pancake Pro). The Pancake Pro cost $6.95, compared to the Perfect Pancake, which costs $14.95. Hmmm... mistake? I think not! I sent an email awaiting response. Stay away from this company, not only did it take 2 weeks to get the item, but sent the wrong item when it was FINALLY shipped!!! I will never buy from them again, and hope no one else does either.

This business is operated by Ben, and Jessica Solberg. Ben literally hung up the phone on me many times, and Jessica was unwilling to credit me for the $295 even though they had the forms, and received payment from Dish Network, because they could, since I supposedly didn't send the forms in a timely fashion. If you don't have a registered receipt for those forms, the credit card company will not reverse the charge, and ALLSAT will fight you every inch on it. Dish Network felt so bad, they actually settled it for me, in the form of extra equipment. If they send you a form that says, you agree NOT to fight the credit card company (and by the way, pay us $30 for that right), DON'T SIGN IT! See www.allsatsucks.com for other complaints as well.

Not only is the product amazing I was stoked when I received a call in the afternoon on Christmas Eve that I had a package for me. I had placed the order after hours on the 22nd and had the product with all the specs I wanted the afternoon of the 24th. Made for one hell of a holiday and was so great I've told friends and even my boss is gonna buy a new sager laptop. Thanks, sorry for the delayed posting Hectic work month. But I haven't forgotten.

Best price ever, I order canon BCI-24bk which i usually buy from my local office suppliers like Staples, officedepot for around $5 each, this site offer me a generic cartridge for $1.29, flat $6 S/H fee for any order, i received the package after 3 days, the ink quality's good to my opinion. I use it on my canon MP390 printer, nothing's different to the canon ink, same quality prints. I just dont like 1 thing, the minimum order is $15. but it's ok for me because i have to print alot.

Won a ebay auction then read the comments on this site, then I was afaird to send them the payment, after thinking about it for 2 weeks went ahead and called them upon the 22nd, they answered the phone on the third ring, they did put me on hold twice very breifly while they looked up the item #, got back on the phone and tried to sell me a overpriced extended warranty but with no pressure, total time on phone 11 minutes. (not bad) camera shipped on the 23rd (overpriced UPS) arrived today the 30th was well packed and camera was as describedbut the case could have been better. after being afried to buy from them I am glad that I did as the price was great (it looks like their buyer pisit1001 did not get the price over what my max was, (they do use other names to get the bids up). overall i went into this purchase expecting the worst but I am happy.

Won an auction on E-bay for Minolta Dimage 7i digital camera with extras. Auction closed on Thur afternoon and I paid with Paypal 10 minutes after end of auction. On friday I received e-mail with UPS tracking number. Received camera on wednesday. Everything was as listed on auction including full USA Minolta warranty. I was very pleased with the price and service and would deal with these people again.

I have been searching for months for the strategy guide for the GOTY edition of Morrowind/Elder Scrolls III. Most places either didn't have it, or wanted twice the original sales price. Wizards and Wars had exactly what I was looking for, at a great price and in excellent condition. The shipment arrived sooner than promised, which is always a good thing.

I ordered via C.C. a puter online from these people on 9-14-02(a Saturday). I called on Monday to confirm it. After being switched around a few times a female who is their "Customer Service Dept" told me I would get it by the 23rd. On the 24th I get an e-mail stating that the mobo has been recalled (This was a confirmed lie) & that I could choose a different one or wait another week. I called & was told that they just got the mobo in & because of the inconvinence they were going to overnight mail it at their cost. On the 27th it hadn't come yet so I called & after being switched around a few times I got the Customer Service female. I found out that it never was sent overnight mail. I told her it hadn't come yet & her reply was.."Ya So"! Rather than get rude I hung up & e-mailed them a cancellation request. On 10-2-02 I receive a shipping confirmation & a tracking #. I figured, ok fine if it gets here this week great. Not so. They gave me what they called an "outdated" Tracking #. I got another tracking # on 10-7. So now being totally upset I called usps to confirm the tracking #. On the 14th (a month later) usps told me that I can stop the process right there & have it return to them. Which I did. I also got paperwork from the CC Co. to dispute the charge. A day or two later I get a PHONE CALL from the Female. She said that they just got the computer back from usps. I said.. "Ya So". & hung up. This is a small time operation out of some guy’s garage. Stay away from these Rude & Lying people. P.S. I know for a fact that they tried to get back at me by unsuccessfully using my e-mail addy for spam purposes & other garbage. So Bush league!

VDO SPECIALTIES D.B.A. GetItRepaired.com -DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM I ordered a Pre-modified Slim Pstwo on 4-6 by electronic check from Getiitrepaired for approx $234. By 4-8 the check had cleared with my bank and the money was in Getitrepaired hands according to my bank. All testimonials and reviews stated that orders were received within a week’s time or in a very timely fashion. I later tried to post negative reviews on my situation and they were always deleted. After 8 days, I decided to send an email on 4-13 to see when my order would ship, it was very cordial and to the point. I was responded to in a very demeaning and aggressive manner, VDO even DEMANDING I apologize. They even threatened to sue for libel after my first email because Mr. Walker claims it is illegal to say almost 10 days instead of 8 days. After giving them the names of people to talk to at my bank w/numbers, they still failed to verify my payment. Michael Walker proceeded to call me at my house and verbally assault me and my attorney here in MI. I threatened to cancel my order if he kept mistreating me after a simple inquiry into when my product would ship. He then threatened to sue me and has since filed suit, but I have not been served yet. I only posted my experience and copies of the emails we sent to eachother on public forums to warn other consumers. He constantly threatened me with the fact he has a point and click TOS that he believes is legally binding, yet when accessed from getitrepaired.com, there is no tangible link to that TOS. This violates both the UETA and ESIGN definitions of an electronic signature. I only asked he ship my product or refund me in full. I would never do business with these shysters unless you feel like waiting ages and being treated like a second rate citizen. Now they want a 50% restocking fee due to the fact their customer service has been insulting and aggressive.

Very fast shipment, ordered on the 20th and recieved it today (the 22nd). Low price. Nice job! One problem i have is that why did they have to cut open my retail packaging of my 1700+ thoroughbred processor when it can just be verified by looking through the clear plastic backing of the packaging. Whats up with that? Other than that, no other problems. UPDATE: Thinking little at first of the hand written 1700+ label over the original AMD label on the inside of the package, i decided to look at what was really underneath it. Much to my suprise, the amd label said 1800+. Were they really checking for the correct core by opening up my retail package? Probably not. You can verify it by just looking at the shape of the core. (Palomino is square, Thoroughbred is rectangular) So i don't think that is the real reson why they cut open my packaging. I don't know why they did this, but its not very trustful because they knowingly lied on their website and placed a 1700+ chip in an 1800+ Retail package. I don't know if my chip is an oem though, there seems to be no way to tell.

I recently ordered a AMD 2100xp cpu from cbwnet and I am quite happy with my purchase. I was a bit worried about cbwnet when I came here because of all the bad things people were saying. Such things included; rma'd products being sold as new, really poor customer service, wrong products being shiped, and not being replaced without ALOT of hassle. However I have to admit, I am quite pleased with my purchase. It arrived on time, once ups got ahold of it. It was well packaged/protected, and my product (AMD 2100xp cpu retail) was in its AMD sealed retail package. I have only have 2 problems with the company, niether of which were very serious. One was the fact that it took longer to proccess the order than almost every site i have ever ordered from, but i did say almost, and nobody is perfect. Second problem i had with them was the shipping price, and inability to choose what kind of shipping method i wanted. But to be completely honest, It would have cost me almost double if i had ordered the same thing from a different company with "Cheap shipping". I paid just shy of $100 for product + shipping. I couldn't find any other site that could beat that deal, in fact, cbwnet beat everybody else by about $50! I'm more than willing to look past my small problems I had with them and look foward to purchasing more items from them if their prices remain that low.

The first order I placed with Second Spin was a disaster as they sent me the wrong CD, not even close to what I ordered. They sent me a prepaid label to return it and credited my account, even though I had asked for a refund. Against my better judgement I decided to just use my credit and order some used CDs that I had been wanting. Out of the 4 I ordered, one was scratched so badly that it was unplayable and would not rip without errors. Two others has scratches that did not seem to affect playback. I know that buying used CDs is a gamble but they really should check the condition of what they are selling a little more closely. I will not be buying from them again, it is just not worth the frustration when I can get used stuff off ebay or amazon with descriptions that tell me the condition of the item I am getting.

I ordered OEM PRIVATE LABEL-Western Digital 200GB 7200RPM IDE Hard Drive, Model WD2000BB, and I got exactly what I ordered. I used the free shipping (Free Airborne), and it ended up being FedEx but still free. The tracking number for the shipment came about 1 business day after I ordered. In total, I received the hard drive 1 week after ordering it. This is about average to a day longer than most shipments I receive (including those from merchants with very good ratings). The package was adequately padded, and the hard drive works. Although, they don't include anything with the package other than what you order. No manual or invoice (except for email).

I ordered a 40GB hard drive as well as a DVD-ROM drive from here. After nearly 2 weeks of waiting during which I tried to contact them by Email, phone and Fax about the status of my order, I finally got through on this number: 408-453-2009. They assure me that the reason for the delay is they were waiting for Maxtor to send them more of the hard drives. This still doesn't explain why the DVD-ROM hasn't already shipped... Anyway Saku assures me that it will ship tomorrow, we'll see...

Initial Posting: 03/31/2003 - 1545EDT On 03/04/2003 I ordered a black IBM P260 monitor from Merkortech's website. I immediately received an automated invoice, but no shipping information. I waited over a week before calling the company hotline, where I spoke to "Alex" who told me there had been some problems with the P260s and they were waiting for a new shipment. Fair enough, but I wish they had e-mailed me or called me and let me know that. Finally, on Saturday, March 15th, the monitor arrived - without ANY cables. No VGA, no DVI, no Power. Nothing. I called the company hotline immediately and left them a message. On Sunday I got a call back and was told the cables would ship on Monday and they would send me a tracking number at that time. And so I waited. And waited. And waited. All e-mails went unanswered. (on a side note: finally, I went to CompUSA and bought an SVGA cable for $20 out of my own pocket. It doesn't work well (lots of fuzz and smearing), but at least I can use the monitor.) On Monday the 24th, a week after I was supposed to hear from them, I called the Hotline again again. This time I was transferred (after a LONG wait on dead air) to an "Albert" who told me that because of my confusing e-mail address the cables had been shipped to the wrong address. The explanation wasn't terribly coherent, but he did say he would ship the cables that afternoon and e-mail me a tracking number. Another week passes. Again, all e-mails go unanswered. Monday the 31st, I call the hotline again. This time I speak to "Alex" again, who was defensive, argumentative and abusive, insisting that he would not help me because that was "Albert's" job. I asked to be transferred to "Albert" and was told that I had to call back to a long-distance number, at my expense. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told there was none. I asked to speak to Albert's supervisor and was told he had none. When I insisted on being shipped the cables, "Alex" hung up on me. Despite their sterling reputation and the high praise I heard about this company from many soruces, my experience with Merkortech has been one of my worst online experiences ever. I would never do business with them again, and I will go out of my way to inform others to avoid them as well. Update: 03/31/2003 - 1641EDT I just spoke with "Albert," who gave me a tracking number and informed me that my cables shipped on the 28th. While not satisfactory, considering I bought the monitor on the 4th, I was still somewhat placated - until his next comment. It seems that if I do not retract this statement made here at Reseller Ratings, he will cancel my warranty. Now, having bought an "A condition" monitor, I paid for a One Year Warranty. Now "Albert" has chosen to use it as leverage to silence me about my experience. Sadly, if he had been apologetic and asked me kindly, I might have reconsidered my posting. But I find his heavyhanded blackmail tactics reprehensible and atrocious for anyone claiming to call themselves a businessman. So my comments remain, and I lose the warranty I paid for. Once again, I warn anyone who will listen to steer clear of this company. Update: 03/31/2003 - 1531EDT My cables arrived, poorly packed and in bad condition, but they arrived nonetheless. I installed the CRT cable and power cord and found the visual quality to be far superior to the $20 cable I had from CompUSA. The DVI cable doesn't appear to work, despite running a number of different tests on it. Still, with the CRT cable working, I suppose I should be grateful for that much. Update: 04/07/2003 - 1220EST After pestering Merkortech's offices for a week to put my warranty status in writing, I finally heard back from them. They have warrantied my monitor through mid-March of next year. I will alter my rating of their company to reflect this new information, but I'm still not wholly satisfied, considering what I went through. I, personally, would not buy from this company again, nor would I recommend it to any of my friends. Still, as in all things, your mileage may vary. Caveat Emptor.

Ordered a Sony G500 (grade b) on 1/25, processed 1/27, shipped 1/28, arrived 1/30. Although rated at grade b, the product was in flawless condition except for some glue left from some sort of sticker on the top of the monitor. Used some isopropyl alcohol and it's good as new. Works great (I'm writing this review from it at 1600x1200/85hz). The packing was amazing, and the monitor didn't budge during travel. A very good price for a very good monitor. I will most definitely be buying from them again :)

I ordered a drivers side mirror for my 2012 Kia Sorento. The part was delivered a day earlier than expected! However, the part was defective and I've had nothing but problems with customer service. 2 calls where I was left on hold, with no answer, one for 25 minutes, one for 35 minutes. I tried to do the return authorization online, throughtheir website, and havent received the shipping label that was supposed to be emailed within 24 hrs. It's now been 7 days. Don't waste your time with these folks.

I ordered a bumper cover for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata sport that said "guaranteed fit". I got it, and it did not fit. This was only found out once I had my bumper off of course and the part was unreturnable. Anyhow I tried to contact customer service multiple times through email, and waited over a month for response. I waited on the phone for forty minutes as well with no answer. The reason this is a three instead of one star review is the fact that I was able to get ahold of either their parent or sister company JC Whitney. They responded within 48 hrs and issued me a full refund within 1-2 days after that. They said I could either return the part or not. I was very satisfied with that customer service experience, but I didn't think it was saving grace enough to warrant four stars. The only reason I was able to get ahold of anyone was by reading an old comments section from a carparts.com question on a help site on a google search, learning that they are affiliated with this JC Whitney company.

I an in UK. HP is the worst online retailer in the world. I ordered a laptop and got confirmation email. I thought everything's fine but nothing has happened until I phoned the customer service, apparently my order didn't go through, and I missed the day to give a surprise birthday present for my daughter. The customer service was confused and then she asked her manager but could not give immediate answer, only an uncertain promise that it would come later somehow. And they were not sure when the product will be delivered, this was not in compliance with the advertisement of one day delivery. The website was confusing, when I ordered a product as a guess and moved forward to pay it, I then was asked to login etc, but after I login the product wanted to buy was gone, and not even on the list.

I ordered a Linksys router from HP and selected the 5-10 day shipping option. Being a customer eager to get his product, I tracked my order progress everyday. On the day it was 'delivered', I did not get my product and was very concerned (I just spend over 100 for a router and FedEx said it was delivered). So then I called HP and asked what I should do. After following their instructions of checking nearby apartments to see if my package was mis-delivered, I was not able to find my product. I called HP back and they shipped me another order via next day air. I was very happy with the outcome. I hope next time they require a signature at door for orders over $100 though.

I ordered a glidecam4000 from them; it was supposed to arrive in 7-9 days. I waited 2 weeks, it never showed up. I called - they were very nice - they said I would have it in a week from then. Waited another 2 weeks, it never showed up. I called again- they said it would be another week. I asked for my $$ back, they said okay. That was last week, THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY $$$$$$$$$. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!!!

Vendor failed to ship within the obligated two days. Shipped one week late, and then by ground, even after numerous unanswered emails requesting tracking info. Not able to leave voice messages – box was full. They finally acknowledged the mistake and wanted to “make up for it”, but wanted to renege on the contract with the referring website in order to give me the $$. Not recommended, no way, never again. Sounded sincere, but never made up for it, and then wanted to rip off the referral fee. I said no.

I ordered a pair of logitech webcams from their site late September (it shipped on 10/1/2002. I don't have the exact date because or some reason do not have the order confirmation email. In any case, it shipped out on 10/1/2002, and it arrived on 10/2/2002. A day later. It turns out they are about 30 miles from where I live, so delivery was not extraordinary. The webcams were exactly as I expected them to be, and seem to work identically. I originally purchased from them because if need be, I could go over there and make a stink about it. I don't know if I would do business with them again, but their prices were right.

Ordered an ATI all-in-wonder 7500. Unit came out of the oem box and the DVI-toVGA adapter was missing. The manual states (twice) that it is included. All the other adapter cables were included. Called them the next monday and the guy try to tell me it wasn't part of the order. After explaining that that was not acceptable and that he would have to make good on the adapter or give me a RMA, he finnaly said he would check with his purchasing dept (BS!) and send me an email right away. After two days, I sent them and email and told them I would pull the payment. Within 24 hrs they sent me an email saying they were sending the adapter. After a week of waiting, I sent another email saying I had not received the adapter. They replied that they had sent but would try and track it (BS!). After yet another week, I sent another email and they replied that it had been sent ups. I have now waited yet another week and have now given up with these guys. They are not worth the trouble for the few dollars I thought I was saving. It has been over a month and I still can't use the card! What gets me is that the adapter is an $8 dollar part! Are they just stupid or what?

The RDX Focus Pads are a quality product. Made from a combination of high grade leather on the outside with reinforced stitching means these pads are built to take a pounding. They are lightweight, well padded for impact and perfect for what I needed. They offer a snug secure fit and so may need a bit of use before they bed in for those with larger hands. The pads were received in good time and came securely packaged. After using these pads for a few months I can highly recommend them.

I ordered from their site on Aug 8, they were very fast at seeing my order andvery fast at taking my money out of my account, but thats about it. it has been over 20 days now and i still have no word on my case. They told me the average time for a water cooled case to ship was about 14 days, well that mark has come and gone and all I know is that my "Payment has been recieved". I have tried the e ticket service (many times) and have called and left messages on their machine god knows how many times trying to get information on my order. It is past the point to where I dont want the case anymore I just want my money back. And on an order for more than $500 worth of stuff, and no word from them,needless to say Im pissed. By the end of the week I will be taking further action if they dont return a call or e-mail. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

I recently purchsed an upgradeware 370gu adapter from these guys. Originally I believe they lost my order, because the UPS shipping info was dated the day I inquired about my shipment, which was 2-3 weeks later. I eventually received my order, and they were easy to contact, and responded fairly quickly to my inquiries, I would definetly use them in the future. Only complaints, they should give you an invoice #, tracking #, and proper shipping cost information. Some advice to Canadian online shoppers, be aware of the brokerage fees you have to pay for orders comming into Canada via the US, they can be more than the actual order you placed, Ouch!

I placed an order about a month ago and have yet to receive any of my merchandise. I tried to track it and it is not trackable due to it being sent via parcel post. I tried calling customer service long distance, as they do not have a toll free number, and waited 15 minutes before I finally hung up. Now I am not sure what to do. I have not paid for my order and will not until my items arrive. Unfortuate that I bought halloween items, it's October 31st and my order has not arrived!

Out of the last six orders I have placed with this company, 11 items have been discontinued and no longer available. They waited nearly four weeks to tell me. I had sold presold six of the items. They even past due billed me for the items they will never deliver. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR WHOLESALE SOURCE. THey will damage your business!

I saw the website advertising the Olympus C-730 for $414.00 plus shipping. The webpage lists the item as being in stock. I placed an order. The next day 1/29/03, I called the company and asked to verify my order. The rep said the camera was not in stock and had no idea of when it might arrive. He then hung up the phone. I called back to cancel, that appeared to go smoothly, we'll see.

I ordered Nikon Coolpix 5700, that supposedly is "usually shipping within 24-48 hours", the next day their representative left a message on my answering machine, that my order is ready and awaiting my telephone confirmation, when I called I was "offered" an additional package for an outrageous price of $400, after I refused salesperson was quick to say the camera is out of stock and I will have to wait for 3-4 weeks before I get it. The very next day I received an email giving me an option to either wait or cancel my order. I have 2 additional thoughts to that story: 1. What kind of company misleads its customers about the order already placed and then tries to sell more stuff? 2. If they have it really out of stock, what would I do with a whole bunch of overpriced equipment and no camera? I let you be the judge but I am going to contact BBB in NY about them.
