I purchased a Pioneer 106D DVD drive from Americal/CD-DVD Supplies, 7750 Gloria Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406. The resellers sents the unit without any instructions and it was defective. On contacting them, they could not provide any tech support, and kept insisting there was nothing wrong with the product. I checked with the local specialists who tested and found that the unit was indeed defective. After weeks of trying to contact them (they are closed evenings and weekends) they asked me to return the unit and agreed to send a replacement after testing the unit. The replacement looked used, but I asked a technician to install it for me. All this cost me $90 extra. In the meantime, the price went down by $60, so I requested them to bear some of the cost, but there has been no response so far. Too much hassle dealing with this vendor. Narayan

We ordered $93.92 in merchandise on October 14, 2004 from Americal with 2-day shipping. Since October 14th we have made three telephone calls to Americal and each time they said a manager would call us back. Our third call was made to them today, Oct. 25, 2004, and we are now hopefully awaiting their third promise to call us. Americal withdrew the $93.92 from our bank account October 15, the day after order was placed. So far we haven't received the order or even an explanation on why not? We have ordered from Americal before and did not have any problems. We can understand if they are having problems. We don't understand why they haven't contacted us to explain.

Two times now I have purchased a software for Ford IDS software only to find out that the application must be updated before I can use the subscription I just purchased. Once the software is updated, I am told that the subscription is already in use (on the same computer) and cannot be used. Helm support is horrible, no refunds, lost money on both jobs due to time wasted on their garbage application and lack of refund for unusable license.

I bought a Hallmark Card Studio 2012 update, thinking I was dealing with Hallmark. Come to find out, Nova Development has bought the rights to use the Hallmark name. My software was defective and I got no response from the company, even though I was given a 90 day money back guarantee. Also, there was no information in the package on how to return the product for a refund. Luckily, I had used Pay Pal to purchase it and was refunded my money by Pay Pal. When I looked on the better business bureau website, I discovered that they have an "F" rating with them. Never do business with these folks! I would have given them no stars if that were a choice.

Visited J&G Sales November 29 to buy a Walther P1 pistol. They did not answer their phone during normal business hours. When I was finally able to flag down a salesman, the poor guy most have just come out of a lemon bath: what a sorry, sour disposition! I told him I came to see a Walther P1 pistol and that I was going to buy one that day. Instead of showing me a pistol, he tossed me a 4473 form, the federal firearms form, and said fill it out. After filling the form, he pulled a P1 off the counter and handed it to me. It looked rough, but considering it was 40 to 60 years old, I guess you shouldn’t expect a great looking gun. When I asked for a bore light to check the condition of the barrel, he stated he didn’t have any, someone had taken his. (This is one of the largest mail order & retail gun sellers in the southwest.) I ask if anyone else had a light to which he stated, we don’t have them. If you want, we have them on the shelf for sale. You can buy one and use it. (That is what customer service is all about!) I took the pistol to a the best light source in the building and used their business card to shine light in the barrel. Now I see why he would not let me have a light. The barrel was very badly corroded and the pistol would never shoot accurately. I told Mr. Friendly the barrel was quite rough and ask to see another pistol. Mr. Friendly informed me that owners, the DeSaye boys, would only permit one gun to be seen and shown during this, Black Friday Sale. WOW, the epitome great customer service. When you are the big dog on the block, I guess they feel they can do anything they want and the public will roll over and take it. I don’t believe that is the business model their father, Joe built the business on. There are many other stores that sell firearms, with friendly, helpful service. I and many others will certainly patronize the others in these challenging economic time.

I bought a saiga off J&gsales less than a week ago. They dropped the price on the gun the day mine shipped by 100 dollars. I called and ask if they would honor the sales price. The manager was rude, wouldn't let me speak and talked over me when I was asking questions. Compared my sale to buying gas. This will be the last time I buy anything from this store. Lots of gun store out there folks.

So i ordered a mobile phone in july, they say on the site it takes about 6-8 working days to receive it, they only shipped it after 2weeks + and when it reached ireland the horrible services of dpd lost my parcel! i spent 50+ euros calling their services and it took them 10 days to assume they lost it! i contacted eGlobal and so far no answer, no feedback, no customer service, no support, absolutely nothing! zero! this is the 3rd time i have trouble with both of them. Companies like both of these are what makes online shopping shady! DON'T BUY WITH THEM, DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES!!!!

I purchased a 12 month magazine subscription back in Dec 21, which included a free gift. By March I had heard nothing and received nothing so decided to start chasing. The phone number supplied connected to another country. I became suspicious and asked to cancel my subscription and get my money back. I was told they couldn't do this and would need to cancel the magazine publisher directly! They then arranged for a copy to come out to me urgently, which arrived about a month later, not through the post, but some random guy in his car. I heard nothing again for another month or two so left a scathing review after which I received a response and apologies only to receive another magazine, not through the post again but a random guy in his car......fast forward to now and I have received a total of 3 magazines in 7 months and only receive one when I chase. They wont give me my money back and I can only speak to a foreign chap with bad english. This is some kind of scam, not sure I'll ever receive my magazines as I've given up chasing for them. Will just leave this review wherever I can to warn others.........AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I was so glad to find DiggyPOD for publishing my first book after three plus years research. After talking to several other publishers I found DPOD to be the most reasonable approach to pursue my book printing. The support by staff via the phone was very helpful at every turn of the project. Confusion with terminology and other technical related questions were handled in a courteous, patient manner even though I may have called them several times on the same questions. The book cover design with some input from me turned out outstanding and many people have commented on the cover as soon as they purchased or reviewed the book. I find the printing quality to be a very professional and of high quality that is good if not better than others I have seen. The idea of the sample book that they sent out to me early in the process was a tremendous help in knowing what the options were and exactly how they would look. The printing turnaround of 3-5 days on the original order and on following orders was unbelievable. I know they have the latest printing technology but the process still requires many steps and quality review. I am not sure that I could have received similar turnaround times on my book orders. The bottom line is that my experience with DiggyPOD was first class from start to finish and on-going as well as their pricing. I had a boatload of materials to present to participants at a conference, and rather than hand out folders with a bunch of single sheets which would just get thrown away or lost, I was able to use the DiggyPOD template to quickly format the resources as a book. A 24 hour review process, and lots of emails updating me as things went along. Great customer service, and quick communication to answer my questions. Books even arrived a day earlier than expected, which was great for my conference prep. I received rave reviews from participants who loved having everything together and have such a professional look. I am definitely going to use this service again in the future.

I was nervous to move abroad, and knew I wanted to come to the UK with everything sorted (accommodation, bank account, work) before leaving Australia. UKPubCo were amazing in ensuring this was all sorted - with little effort needed from me to be honest. I went through UK Pub Co in 2018 for a job placement, they were super helpful regarding visas, living situations, bank accounts, anything you can think of they can point you in the right direction. Although the pub I was put in didn't suit my needs, they were really helpful in sorting out other alternatives and I'll be using them again when I return to the UK in 2020!

We needed to cancel our travel due to a death in the family and were not fully compensated because the person who died (at 90 years of age) had a "pre-existing" medical condition. Who doesn't have some sort of pre-existing medical condition as you age. What is the point of paying for travel insurance if you are not covered when you make a claim.

I enrolled my 3 and 5 year old boys on a month to month basis to learn boxing. I was given a consent form that I was given time to read and turns out it was a 12 month contract. So when I stopped taking my boys that kept requesting money. Now I have to fight against this contract because on my part it was a misunderstanding while they try and scam my money. Beware before signing any contracts.

The Manager of this gym [name removed] at the Keilor Gym told my wife that she needs to sign a consent form so our little boy can do boxing training but in fact, she unknowingly signed a 12-month contract! The error is partly our fault for trusting and not reading what was getting signed but at least if we can warn off other potential victims about [name removed] antics, then that will be one positive that can come of this scam we have endured! No copy of the implied consent form was given to her after signing but it was gladly forwarded to us months after with the offer to pay out 50% of the total contract amount.

We booked a bus for 21/11/2015 through their Sydney company & we are still waiting for the bond to be refunded to our bank account. Booking the bus was fine, the bus turned up & was good for what we needed it for. The driver wasn't good at navigating to our destination so we arrived late. I have been emailing to arrange for the bond to be refunded & have NEVER received a reply. I have made numerous phone calls to the mobile number of the driver & he NEVER answers! ONCE he actually did answer my call, I asked about our bond & he claimed that he would have refunded it the following week after we hired it, this is what usually happens. He said he would look into it & get back to me. I still haven't heard from him. He finally answered another one of my many phone calls & admitted to not having refunded the bond yet & asked for me to email our bank details to him so he could arrange to refund it for us. I asked him if he receives my emails because I have been emailing for MONTHS & have never received a response! His reply was "Yes, I have been getting them" I then asked why he wouldn't have replied to any of them regarding this matter & he said "I have been busy!" We are still waiting for this bond to be refunded. Very unprofessional, I would NEVER recommend to use this driver from Sydney.

I recently used Night Cruiser Party Bus Tours to surprise my partner for his birthday. The whole experience was terrible. Firstly It took 3 days to get through to the call centre to pay the final amount via Credit card, the service was shocking. When it came to the night to my own surprise a competitors bus turned up for our tour (one which i had already looked at and didnt like the company) I was then told I owed more money when I didn't and there was another tour on our bus which I was never informed about at all. I was also under the impression there would be a tour guide who would come with us for the night - there wasn't. After all of this the bus left the whole tour on the side of the road at the end of the night!!!! I still have not received my bond back after many emails and attempts at calling (which are never answered). I was very very disappointed in the whole experience and will never recommend them to anyone!!!

Over 7 hours late, and then charged me approx $500 to screw on a new tap. I could have gone to Bunnings and done it myself for $15. Unfortunately, according to Jim's it would have cost another $500 to actually fix the toilet!!!! We felt we had no option but to pay the money at the time because shops were shut by the time the plumber arrived (7 hours late), and we needed to be able to turn the water back on. NOTE: We fixed the toilet ourselves for just $25!! Could have done it ourselves originally, but hubby has heart failure, (and although I ultimately fixed this myself, I didn't know what I was doing at the time!) 3rd time using this company, and I will never, never, never use them or their sister companies again. Words can not express my bitter disappointment with this company. For transparency: I sought to get a refund from Jim's Plumbing, but they would only refund the call out fee ($132). After contacting the Qld Office of Fair Trading who are quite toothless in this area, I had to accept that this was some small consolation for the over priced and disgusting service that we received!

I received email confirmations the day before each travel and the driver was waiting at the airport for our arrival and was friendly and helpful. The transfer journey was quick and in an air conditioned vehicle so very comfortable. The driver was ready early for our return journey and the whole process was hassle free. Would highly recommend.

I have a problem with my fingerprints due to age (82) and previous 60 year occupation in welding. The folks at Hitt Companies are doing everything in their power to come up with a solution for enhancing my electronic fingerprints. Their Customer relations are excellent and if they can't solve the problem, I have no doubt the did their very best!

The premium could have been more competitive.Dont forget in this year you are being paid 12 months premium for around 11 months work because virtually every taxi driver will have to self isolate or go into quarantine due to corvid19. I ahev not worked for the past two weeks and wont be working next 2 to 4 weeks. You will also save money if they die mid term!!!

7 Are 9 comics are quite simply, SPECTACULAR. no other way to put it! I buy from them, & not only do they have any and all the best variants out there, they're at a great price & here's the thing: UNBELIEVABLE 9.8 TYPE STUFF! (my opinion, not a professional grader, but I have worked at several comic shops, & had my own stall) NOBODY DOES IT BETTER. and their customer service is perfect, too. I cannot praise them highly enough. They even put up with this addled ol' northern imbecile with kindness. Lack superlatives to go any further, but wow! Great, great, comic emporium.

The pre-order/kickstarter proposal for "SNES/Super Famicom: a visual compendium" made it look good. When the actual product arrived, it was more than I had imagined. Huge quality book, lots of great words and pictures, something to please any retro gaming fan. The care that they had taken with the packaging was something I've not seen in a long time, and their communication with the process was regular and useful. Would definitely buy more from them in future.

I did not agree with design choices of the last release and shared it with the publisher to help improve future books. The publisher chose to send a callously worded email back to me including claiming my opinion is "disrespectful and rude". Was a huge Bitmap fan; am not anymore.

Listening to the slide show and following the process step by step I found this site really useful, easy to follow and you can watch it again if need. I attended the 1-2-1 Trainee Detective Constable training course, in preparation for the DC assessment centre. My How2Become tutor was Dave, who showed great enthusiasm and innovation throughout his teaching. The day itself was well structured and I found the content to be very informative. He demonstrated how ability mixed with structure play a crucial role to success. I came away from the course feeling like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders and ready to tackle the final stage of the selection process! All in all would highly recommend. C.F

The only thing stopping me from giving ID Tech one star is your customer service representative Judy Kriewaldt, who should be given a raise and a promotion and a really nice bottle of her favorite tequila for her birthday. And a pony. I placed my order for a latent fingerprint kit on October 11, 2019, and other than an auto email response confirming my order all I got after that was silence for the ensuing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, days. Think about that for a minute. Two weeks of nothing. Amazon could've and would've sent a comparable kit (probably at a cheaper price) on October 12. And this is how you compete with that? On the fourteenth day I called only to find out that someone dropped the ball and my order hadn't received ANY attention. Thank goodness for Judy who investigated the matter found the failure, fixed it and promised once she got my order she would ship it overnight for me to receive on October 31. Fingers crossed.

Received 12x felt furniture pads with screw fixing within a couple of days. Exceptional turnaround. The pads are 1st class. Well made and far better than the stick-on variety. A really nice touch was the inclusion of a 2mm drill so that a pilot hole can be added to the chair legs before fitting the pads.

I bought Lime's accidental death insurance as I ride my bike around London daily. Should the worst happen I know my family will be taken care of. For such a low price, it's a no-brainer. The online application process is really user friendly and easy to use and the whole thing probably took me about 15 minutes to set up. I bought a jacket from Alpinstore.com and the item was stuck in customs, I decided not to pay the ridiculous fee so Parcelforce/DHL returned the item back to Alpinstore. During the entire return I was updating the company on the package's whereabouts and they didn't care to track the order themselves. Once the package was confirmed as being delivered I awaited the allotted 14 days for a refund as per their policy. When checking 2 weeks later and had no refund, I decided to contact Alpinstore to see what their progress was.. turns out they haven't received the package, haven't even checked to see if it has been returned and therefore didn't raise a complaint with the courier within the time to raise a complaint. Why am I responsible for them not checking to see if an item has been returned, not been chased up by their personal, why a complaint/missing package has not been filed against the courier? Why is it their negligence costs me £230 and all I get is a short, rude, uncaring message. -- Reply from Alpinstore 2 Nov 2021 Dear Ben I full understand your concern & respect your disapointement. However, it is correct that DHL refuses any queries after 3 months and quite tough to get feedback from them 6 months later. However, i have personnaly escaladed to DHL decision maker to double check where is your return as we never received it. Thanks for your understanding but I am sure that we can refund without getting back the goods or refund from the carreir. FYI -THE REFUND NO REFUND GIVEN. REASON = NONE. LIARS & THIEVES. I will write a bad review on every site you are on and will repeat this until you accept you were in the wrong for not tracking the package yourselves and therefore "not receiving the goods"
