The White Cottage has been lovingly and tastefully extended and restored inside and out.The whole place is immaculate and looked like we were the first visitors although Kim told me the cottage had been available to rent for 7 months! The kitchen is huge with wine, milk, cake, sugar, tea and coffee capsules were provided as well as all cleaning essentials. It is well stocked with stylish crockery, cutlery and glassware.I have never been anywhere where the plates matched the gravel in the garden! There were even soaps and shower gel in the shower room and plenty of white towels. A spacious modern walk in shower and heated towel rail were most welcome. Both bedrooms are beautifully presented with quality furniture wooden hangers and hotel quality linens. The lounge area had a wood burning stove and a gorgeous comfortable leather sectional and wooden dining table and chairs. The grounds are huge and pretty private with artisan wooden table 4 chairs and an umbrella at main level and another bistro table and chairs and a bench to enjoy the sea view on the elevated terraced behind the house . A fire pit with plenty of wood and kindling thoughtfully provided, was well used by the three of us each night of our 3 night stay. The location is just the best! Stumble (1min) to beach, walk (3 mins) to Coast restaurant (spectacular) and walk (6 mins) to Saundersfoot village, walk on coastal path to Wiseman's Bridge and its shoreline pub and beyond. The only things I would suggest would be 2 comfortable sun loungers for relaxing or reading.Those wooden chairs did become uncomfortable after extended periods enjoying the outside space. Also an extra shelf or two in bathroom for the toiletries of potentially four people would be great! Kim and Gabi were a delight to deal with by phone and by email and they were incredibly accomodating when we were delayed by traffic as we were travelling from Belgium. I would not hesitate to recommend the White Cottage.
