I just want to warn anyone thinking of using this company.We spent months choosing the right stone for our kitchen. We chose Stone and wood shop as they were resonably priced and seemed helpful. We were wanting 80 squ m so a big order. Nearly £3,000 However on the day of our delivery I realised the stone was nothing like the sample stone ordered and so sent it back. Whilst I realise it is a natural product I wasn't expecting brown, orange and yellow all over a whitish stone. They agreed that this was a problem. I was then to discover that the people at the wood shop don't actually know the stone at all and are selling it to you unseen from a supplier. I had to make a very hasty decision on another stone as the tiler and builder were waiting. I then had another delivery of a different stone which on first impression looked good, although a lot of the corners were chipped. However whilst I was out 18sq m was laid and on returning this white tile, or so I had been led to believe, had big brown splodges all over it that looked like dirty foot prints. So again it all had to be sent back. As well as taken up from the floor. The Wood and stone shop agreed to give me a refund but said that a lot of the tiles were chipped when returned and so would only reimburse £750 ?!! It was all very expensive for us as not only did we have to pay for the tiles but also the tiler for his time which was was charged at £98 squ m so was over £2,000 So all in all it cost us £4k for nothing but stress. We ended up going to D.O.G.A in Chichester who are a wholesale supplier who were just brilliant and cheaper.

Understood I was purchasing European engineered oak flooring but found out it is manufactured in China. Joints are different thicknesses so very difficult to lay. Pay the extra and make sure it is manufactured in Europe. Had it professionally laid but he said it was poorly manufactured.

I received a delivery notification email for the flooring to be delivered on Friday 23rd November. I waited all day there was no sign of flooring delivered on this day. I made my first call Monday morning after waiting on line for 30minutes I was promised someone to update via email. I made the second and third calls and promised with an update via email but no one has been in touch nor had any idea where my Flooring’s were. Tuesday the same thing contacted customer services via email and called several times no sign of update note my order could not be located. Another day now Wednesday the same replay from the customer service. Today, I rang, customer service to be told that an attempt for delivery were made and I had to pay another £68 for rescheduling the delivery ( not only I was disgusted by the extra charge but the lady on the phone Polly, were so rude, very intimidating and unhelpful) when I asked why the driver didn’t leave any note if what they said was true she replied,” she simply have to take the drivers word against mine” and she had nothing to show as evidence to proof drivers made an attempt to deliver) this been said, our phone conversation lasted over 45 minutes of her being reluctant and outrageous. However I had no other option but to pay for the second delivery charge hoping for the flooring to be delivered Monday 3rd December. At this point I seriously want my money back and UK flooring direct to keep their flooring to themselves I didn’t want a reminder of unhappy situation laid on my house floor, but having the money back was not an option.

A1 Flooring We recently built a new home with the most amazing builder, he is more a perfectionist than myself!!!! When you build your floors are not included, that's normal so we had a separate contract for our floors. We chose A1 Flooring at Beulah Park because they promised an A1 job and according to their website they claim that they are ........ "A1 Flooring The Timber Flooring Centre has been committed to providing quality flooring solutions in Adelaide for over 25 years. The advice & knowledge we offer comes from our many years of experience and dedication to ensure that the customers get the best possible result. Our friendly & knowledgeable staffs are here to help you in making the best decision for your flooring project.' After now being told that new homes aren't designed for timber floors we would have expected as part of their 'experience and dedication to ensure that the customers get the best possible result' it would have been appropriate to share this with us prior to laying the floor rather than using the design of our home as the excuse why our floors are separating! After some delay with our order we needed to wait for our boards to cure before they could be laid, we knew this and wanted an A1 job so we supported this delay! Our floors were laid beautifully with much attention to detail, the contractor was fantastic, very personable and diligent in his work. Our floors were then to sit for a couple of weeks whilst other jobs were completed, painting etc! As planned the sanders came in on the date expected to sand and polish our boards with a Matt Satin water based finish. Despite being told this would take 5 days to complete, ( timing was crucial as our lease was ending) you then need to leave the floors for 4-7 days to cure before you can put furniture on them) they took 3 days to sand them and then applied 3 coats of finish in 1 1/2 days. The last coat was rejected due to not leaving it long enough in cold, wet weather to dry sufficiently before applying the next coat resulting in an orange peel appearance and blotches over the entire floor. There were also scratches and dents which had clearly not come out in the sanding process indicating a second rate sanding job, not the A1 job we were expecting! After having someone out to look at the job ( who got very defensive, was rude and appeared to try and back out of their responsibilities! ) they reluctantly agreed to re do the entire floor for which we were very grateful but time was running short our end and now to have floors redone and allow it to set hard before placing furniture we were cutting it very fine! We paid to have an inspection by someone from the timer flooring association as even after the floors being redone, there were blotches and an uneven finish. Not something you expect with a brand new floor! The inspector spoke with A1 flooring as per the process when organising an inspection. It appears the flooring standards are quite loose in our opinion........ and our investment was wasted. And here we are in November with floor boards that are separating in all parts of the house, in full sun, in full shade and everywhere in between!!!!! We organised to have someone come and check out what was happening, the same rude, defensive A1 person from before....... all the excuses about timber being a natural product, the light, not enough air con etc, etc, the movement was huge and according to a second opinion it was because the boards were laid before they were dry enough! His advice to me was to run our evap air con to put moisture into the air, don't mind that it's not hot enough for air con and during the day I'm the only family member home, hardly economical or environmentally friendly...... running the air con to keep my floor boards happy! An interesting response from a company who prides themselves on ... 'friendly & knowledgeable staffs are here to help you in making the best decision for your flooring project.' And so with so many excuses and little ownership of the problem we are taking it to consumer affairs!!! A1 Flooring = don't expect an A1 job!!!!

A1 flooring laid blackbutt in three rooms one of which was a very complex layout. The workmanship was superb,delivery on time and the staff were courteous and considerate. Would not hesitate to recommend them to any potential customer!!

I went with the Silk White SPC around 60M2 - Great price and really great work on the install as my house has interesting angles and my new kitchen was installed on old flooring. - So glad I didn't try this myself!! whole process took under 2 weeks from picking my flooring, having them come out and measure / provide an install quote, to being laid. Much much cheaper than a larger brand store. Looks great. Thanks Lion King.

Hard to believe when you look at their very low price but the quality of Lion King laminated floorboards is great : we have had one, and a very cheap one, in our previous home for 5 years and it still looks as new. Plus the installation service was outstanding. A special mention to Alan who was so nice and so accomodating.

I have had Quick Step "Sydney Blue Gum" flooring down for 2.5 years. The appearance is outstanding, but unfortunately, considering the price of the product, its limitations need to be taken into account before purchase. It is assumed that a product to be used for flooring will be robust enough to withstand some moisture. Even the smallest amount of liquid (left unnoticed for a couple of hours) will have long lasting, unrepairable consequences. The edges of the planks will swell and take on a frilled appearance. This has happened to my floor after minor events such as a spilled glass of water, a and a window left open allowing rainwater to enter and lay on the floor. End result is a ruined floor with the only solution being to replace it. Not ideal! I had hoped that the product would be "fit for purpose" and would give me 10 years service. Not to be I'm afraid. I would not recommend this product for installation in a family home where it will be subjected to the rigours of family life. Not up to the task!

DISAPPOINTING to say the least We chose the Sydney Blue Gum 2 strip timber from the 600 x 600 sample board provided at the store.. A perfectly clean selection of boards without any black marks, squiggly borer markings or the like.. We installed in the Kitchen, living room, loungeroom, a hall way and stairwell. When the floor was laid, we noticed a lot of heavy black marks and complained that it is not clean as per the sample. After a bit of a fuss, the flooring company agreed to replace the badly marked boards with the boards that we had left over from the job. Much appreciated. With less black marks, the floor looked amazing. However, 6 months down the track, we have arranged for a new couch to be delivered for the living room which means that the furniture layout will change and our large floor rug will need to be changed to a smaller one. To our horror, we discovered that underneath the floor rug, the floor had not discoloured by the oxidation /oxidisation process caused by daylight not necessarily direct sunlight) coming through the windows and doors and probably artificial light. The variation in colour change is extreme. After further investigation we discovered that under the feet of the dining table, under the wall unit, under the door mats, and under all the furniture in the rooms were similarly discoloured. We want to sell our house in the near future and all these colour variations make it impossible to present to it's potential. The salesman from the store with whom we arranged the installation has moved on and his replacement has distanced himself marginally from the issue. Although he did arrange for the rep from Quik Step to come out to check it out. The Rep's advice was to move the furniture away from the walls , roll up the floor rugs and let the oxidation process catch up over the next 6 months or so. Say what? Surely he can't be serious'. We may as well move out. We can roll up the rug, but definitely not going to move all of the furniture out from the walls and leave it for 6 months. As for the door mats, they are there for a reason. If we were to do it again, we would chose boards that don't oxidate or ones that are pre oxidated before installation. That would make sense. The web site does mention oxidisation / oxidation but does not elaborate on the extent. We believe a 20-30% variation should be worth mention and that also the fact that areas not exposed to daylight will have a silhouetted marking on the floor We are now left with that disappointed deflated feeling. We will see if the next 6 months makes any real difference. My guess is that we will rue the experience

When we purchased our 18 month old home one of the first things we noticed was lifting boards and noising sqeaky flooring. No problem its still under warranty. Wrong! Uneke timber flooring says the warranty does not extend to subsequent owners regardless of the age of the floor. They "helpfully" suggested we make a claim through our insurance. A short term attempt to alleviate the squeaks was spraying the joins with wd silicon spray. It just made different noises and the floor became shiny and slippery. Totally unimpressed.

We recently purchased a Porter Davis home with high gloss UTF Spotted Gum flooring. Don't but this product. Looks great in the showroom, but get low angle light on it and it appears covered in scratches and swirls. When I've contacted both Porter Davis and UTF they tell me it's not a fault, so not covered by warranty. It's just a poor quality product that the charge a premium for. Also, the bevel in the product seems to leave it prone to water damage. My new floor will need to be replaced. Looks great under artificial low light conditions Looks terrible under low angle natural light. Prone to water damage.

OK so I need cut some slack for the current Coranvirus situation, but my 1st purchase from All Finished was not a great experience really. Not able to contact anyone on phones and email went unanswered...guess that's true for most companies at the moment. Ordered on website and got standard acknowledgement...suggesting 3 - 5 days. Delivery took 12 days ! Whilst the 5ltr paint tin seemed reasonably well wrapped in bubble wrap etc...the tin was battered beyond belief. I am amazed the paint didn't escape. No idea if it was sent like this or the delivery company played football with it. But all told...not a great experience, so I will probably go elsewhere for similar products next time.

Hi Paul, sorry it has taken so long to complete the Trust pilot review, thanks once again for all your expertise and invaluable input for both the lockers & library shelving, I would fully recommend ASL Lockers. As I explained, we were recommended for some refurb and uplift works at this Norfolk school, we were then asked by the Head if we were able to arrange for the supply of low level lockers as there appeared to be some sort of problem with the company that originally priced to supply the lockers and library shelving. Not having a Scooby about lockers or library shelving, I agreed to get some costs, a quick search on the internet for lockers led me to ASL Lockers, you came up trumps with a price lower than their original quotation, a feather in the cap for moi, when you then offered a price for the shelving as well (incidentally, again lower than the original estimate) the Head was more than happy for us to supply both via ASL, a second feather no less. Great service, great products at great prices, and great product advice. Customer is over the moon with the end result as am I, not only that but the Head has offered to recommended us to another school, so who knows, it could be ASL Lockers helping to provide a third feather. Bill.

Delivered next day,friendly driver. Product looks good. Feels warm to the touch, so has excellent heat retention. We had to store the rolls upright for a week due to a delay in installation. When unrolled the product was uneven, I guess from having stored the 2 rolls on their ends. I butted the rolls together and joined by using a heavy duty tape. There was no time to wait for the rolls to flatten I had to proceed with laying the Laminate Flooring. This helped greatly to take out the "waves" in the underlay. I would certainly recommend this product and will be using more on my next flooring project shortly. I would recommend unrolling as soon as possible and laying flat. There was no instructions enclosed, would have been helpful to have had a user guide on how best to lay.

We were looking to replace some pretty awful laminate flooring in a house we had recently purchased, we spoke with Bradfords in Worcester who highly recommended Woodpecker Flooring as a match for what we were looking for, the sales person came out with samples so we could see what it would look like in the room and hallway that we wanted to put it down,which was brilliant as we got to see which of the shades of oak best suited the rooms and matched with the varnished oak doors we have. Installation was simple, the installer we used hadn't heard of this flooring but was very impressed with it, how simple it was to install and how great it looked (so much so he was going to buy some for his own house), for us it is perfect, is easy to clean, very hard wearing and we just love it.

Delivery arrived on time, I had quite a large order of flooring and they made sure all the batch numbers where the same so it’s all to match in.
