Me and my boyfriend booked through Spa Seekers, an exclusive Spa Day for Two at the Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel. To say this day was a disappointment is an understatement and the response from your company since has been utterly shameful. On the 20/12/19 me and my boyfriend travelled over an hour and a half to the Spa in question. When we arrived we were told to expect a glass of champagne, something we did not get. To top it off, we were told that the Spa’s booking system was down so they couldn’t remember what we had booked etc. After informing them of our booking we were told that only one therapist was on the premises for the day so what we had booked as a ‘couples’ treatment was no longer available and that we would have to have our treatments one after the other and that this would mean a delayed time. After being shown the premises (still no champagne) me and my boyfriend went down to the pool where there were not even enough loungers to lay down. When it came time for one of us to have our treatments, me and my boyfriend waited for over 40 minutes before someone came out to talk to us. She was confused as to what our treatments were and to be honest seemed rather annoyed that we were requesting two treatments each (something which we had paid for). My boyfriend went first and I waited in the ‘relaxation room’. To my surprise, fire alarms were being tested that day and so instead of relaxing, I was sat in a rather cold room with loud sirens going off (I have attached a video). I decided to go to the pool to escape but there was a pool Zumba class taking place with loud music and a women shouting out through a microphone. Once again not the sort of thing you expect when booking a spa day. By this point, my own treatments were nearly 2 hours delayed and it was approaching 3pm. I hadn’t eaten since 9am that morning when we set off for the spa and had been expecting afternoon tea which ‘shock’ we didn’t receive either. As there was no where else to go, I went and sat in the changing rooms and waited for my boyfriend so that we could leave. This was over a month ago and despite me and my boyfriend sending numerous emails to SpaSeekers, we have not had any refund. They have not even emailed back an apology. My boyfriend has rang numerous times with the promise that he would have call back-something that didn't happen. I was promised resolution within 5 days- something that didn't happen. I do NOT recommend using them; if anything was to go wrong with your booking you would have to deal with a completely inept customer service team.

Have travelled with villaplus before and no issues but this time we have been really let down by them. Whilst I appreciate this years problems with coronavirus has made it very difficult for travel firms, I am at a loss how villaplus think the best way to look after their loyal customers is to cut off all communications! cant phone or email, we are due to go on holiday in a week, found out last night flight is cancelled but impossible to discuss options. Really?, this is the UK biggest company for villa holidays and they ignore customers needing assistance, customers who have paid out thousands of pounds only to be treated with such contempt, not a good business model to ignore your customers

Due to go on holiday in under 56 Hours. Had nothing from VP, not even our travel documents so we have no idea whether or not we are travelling. Our flights have been suspended, which we read over the weekend, so goodness knows what is going on. Unable to call, emails are bouncing back etc. Website states they are dealing with holidays departing on MY DEPARTURE day, but I’ve heard nothing. I will NEVER again book with these people. I understand the problems they are going through, but their lack of customer service, keeping loyal customers informed is truly DISGUSTING. That is what I find so disappointing, not the fact that my holiday may/may not go ahead.

GOTOGATE ARE FRAUDS. DO NOT BUY TICKETS. THEY ARE NOT MEMBER OF ABTA and ATOL We live in UK and bought air tickets from GOTOGATE in May, everything was confirmed until the day before travel. They sent us a cancellation email on 08JUL just one day before travelling and now refusing to take responsibility. We contacted them several times but they are blaming airline and told us to contact Airline. We called the Airline many times and they asked us to contact the travel agent as we bought tickets from them. We contacted UK Citizens Advice consumer service reference number ZC17495967 but they referred us to European citizens advice bureau because GOTOGATE is governed by Swedish Law. We have contacted them and waiting for their reply. We were supposed to fly on 09JUL from BHX but GOTOGATE sent us an email on 08JUL that the airline has cancelled the booking. We called them and the airline multiple times to give us alternative flights but no one helped us. GOTOGATE were blaming the airline and the airline said we need to contact GOTOGATE. We had to buy another oneway three tickets right away from another airline which was very costly (paid £3060) and sadly, we also missed our EID day! At the time of return, we checked the airline's website for the return booking just to make sure if everything was okay but we came to know that there was no booking for KHI-IST-BHX on 06AUG. We again contacted GOTOGATE several times and they said Airline had cancelled our booking. We were in KHI at that time and we went to the Turkish airline office. They told us that GOTOGATE never paid them for this booking! They could not help us as this was purely the travel agent's mistake or negligence and no more seats were left! Again We had to pay a hell of amount to buy oneway three tickets from another airline KHI-DXB-BHX 07AUG We paid GOTOGATE for our tickets £3,147.57 BHX-IST-LHE AND KHI-IST-BHX Expense after booking cancellation £3,060.00 BHX-DXB-SKT £1,620.60 KHI-DXB-BHX We called the GOTOGATE call centre several times and all of them were unprofessional! They were not able to resolve the issue and kept blaming the airline only. We spent three hours in the Turkish airline office Karachi and they showed us everything, that they had done with our booking. Please do not buy ticket from gotogate as this company is not a member of ABTA and/or not associated with any other UK body. They have not refunded us anything at all!

We booked a ticket as usual is fine but lately my dad and his wife she make him changed his mind not to make him to travel in April and my step sister she said your dad he can’t take decision we took the decision on his behalf and we ask to changed his ticket flight date which’s is I did but unfortunately he has stroke and since June the 19th they have not refund his remaining monies and they did not make any exemption for elderly person over 85 and they charged him £152 1st changing his flying date and 2nd time God knows how much they are going to deduct

Easy to rebook our needs literally at the last minute on-line. The Hyundi i130 was excellent for the amount of driving we did from Bilbao, through Basque Country, Logrono, final destination Valencia, about 1200++ Kms. A very comfortable drive. Drop off wasn't so easy as entry into Valencia train station drop off point not so well marked, however office staff very helpful - drop off spot at opposite end of complex to the office. After years of renting cars in Europe, we stupidly forgot to refuel, even though a small amount, we were given the opportunity to refuel or be charge.

we used this company via virgin holidays, we brought our own standalone insurance, we did not need anything else, we expected to get charged a airport fee which we were happy with, got home over $400 taken from card for things we didnt agree to, contacted alamo at miami airport who will not help, i have since read reviews on this company and theyve done things like this alot and are very sneeky so i advise you rent off another company, its discusting to take advantage of tired travellors, we have rented from them before and all was fine but now theyve ripped us off we wont be doing so again and we travel alot, BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANY we did not sign anything to say we agree with all the charges now taking further

Don't waste your time trying to find and actually book travel deals through this company. For over a decade I've received and read the multiple offers sent to my email every week by Travelzoo. I have found travel deals and packages that looked enticing. In the past, we purchased event tickets, packages, and even booked a cruise using Travelzoo. The last two offers I tried to book ended up being bogus. My most recent bad experience happened this week. Travelzoo's "Top 20 List" included a 5 night package to Paris from several US cities. The package included r/t air and hotel for $599 per person. I followed the booking directions provided by Travelzoo, which connected me with the vendor, Fleetway Travel. I went through all the steps, answering all the questions, selecting the available dates, airports, upgrades, and options. I completed the required documentation and registration. At the conclusion of this process, Fleetway's online booking told me my travel reservation had been submitted and that someone would contact me the next day for payment processing. Three days passed and I had not been contacted. I tried to call Fleetway Travel and couldn't get through (number I had went to The UK). I contacted Travelzoo customer service and they told me they would look into my reservation. The next day Travelzoo Customer Rep., Lisa called me and said Fleetway had my reservation and would be calling me shortly. Later that day, I finally got a call from Fleetway Travel. They denied having a record of my reservation and the Fleetway Rep. told me they have not been able to process or even read the reservations submitted via their website due to the heavy volume of calls they had been receiving. The Fleetway Rep would not honor my reservation, look for my reservation, or even acknowledge that they had received a submission from me. I told the Fleetway Rep. my exact submission dates and that I had followed the directions provided by their and Travelzoo's websites, and that I was supposed to receive a call to process payment. She said "we can't be chasing people down who booked vacations online" and "I have booked over 20 vacations for customers who called in today alone, I don't have time to check online reservation requests". The advertised travel deal I signed up for 5 days earlier via Fleetway Travels own website was not available, if it ever really existed. I immediately called Travelzoo Customer Service to inquire why they told me Fleetway had my reservation, to ask why online bookings weren't being honored, and finally ask why Travelzoo would partner with a vendor of this poor of caliber. Doesn't Travelzoo check out the businesses it promotes? Travelzoo Customer Rep. apologized for my experience, said they would note my complaint for future reference when working with Fleetway Travel, but that Travelzoo couldn't make Fleetway Travel honor the promoted travel deal. The other bad experience with Travelzoo occurred last month when I tried to book a hotel room package. The Guy Harvey Outrigger Motel in St. Petersburg, FL offered a special rate for a 3 night stay over Labor Day. When I called them (Guy Harvey Reservations) and mentioned the Travelzoo Package, the price with hidden charges and required extras went up nearly $500. Based on these two back-to-back bad experiences, I can no longer use Travelzoo and would highly recommend others save themselves the time and trouble of using this online service.

I've used this website for booking almost all my holidays and always everything was excellent. Never had any problem with hotel or transfer. However one star less because if wanted to contact customer service before holiday there is only helpline and waiting time is really long. As this is online company there should be option for online chat or/and clear information about customer service email address.

This is the worst company to book through, they are not willing to accommodate their customers and take your money and not want to give it back, even after the hotel agreed to refund with no fees. I am reporting this company to the better business. they also state that it will take 10+ business days for refund even if they grant you one. I would stay away from this company, you have been warned!!

Just returned from a mini break in Tenerife with my wife. Absolutely faultless service providers. The collection of suitcases etc at the hotel on returning home is the icing on the cake. Having a son with severe autism and SPD this service significantly reduces stress that we have experienced with other tour operators. 22kg of luggage allowance is outstanding. We will not be booking with any other company again. Fantastic and friendly staff and service.

We decided to try and use a company who could combine flights and a villa. Jet2 have brilliant staff, the flights were great and the villa more than we hoped for. We had a fantastic holiday in Menorca.

Just stayed at the Hilton Hotel Metropole. Room 423 Queen deluxe room.... Room furthest away smallest room, double shower you could not get two people in the bathroom at the same time. Bed squeaked just sitting on it so laying or turning over was a nightmare. Pity the room below. Was not comfy at all. Tv was on a wall not in good view to put on if needed. Mirror was hide next to it not suitable for using for makeup etc. No fridge . One biscuit if there was supposed to be two per room. No bottles of water. Room smelt of over compensated shake and vac got down our throats. Breakfast was so slow in bring food out 14 people deep in waiting for them to top up the buffet of bacon etc. No glasses for the fruit juices..salt and pepper pots needed replenishing. This was an expensive night away. We stayed at the Hilton Milton Keynes and paid almost half the price of this one and had a fantastic stay there with great breakfast and plenty staff to cope with the busy concert the night before... A shame Birmingham you have let Hilton Hotels down and our stay with the Michael Buble Concert . You even charged £12 for parking Milton Keynes is free

I do not recommend Hilton hotels. Avoid parking in front of their hotels as they are using scumming company to oversee them. Scumming company is Gemini Parking Solutions. I overstayed drop-off bay by 16 min. They sent me a letter saying that I can appeal. During appeal time opportunity to pay discount penalty (within 14 days) will not be affected. I appealed (the same day I received notification about penalty) and at the day of appeal rejection the discount vanished. Avoid Hilton hotels as they are collaborating with those scammers.

Rookie mistake but I booked the wrong hotel by accident, this was on the saver rate and I asked if I could change to the correct one - which was more expensive than my first booking but I was happy to pay the difference. Despite there being availability at both hotels they have shown a complete lack of understanding in my mistake. I even booked the correct hotel so they knew I was not trying to back out of the initial booking but still no acknowledgement - I think this sheer greed is unfair to a customer who made a genuine mistake and wasn’t trying to back out of a booking - just change it to the correct hotel.
