I was very angry with the results online because of an email I Received Then I connected with Emerson ! in a Chat. His customer service skills are excellent. He truly was there to help. His employer should know he is definitely an asset to their company. He solved my issue and then I was very happy with the service. In these stressful times he is working likely as an essential service. He took the time to explain everything and at the end of our conversation asked if there was anything more he could do to help. I was very impressed by his service. I hope he is recognized by his employer.!

I booked a trip through Tour Radar in January on G Adventures to go to South Africa this June/July. In April, Tour Radar informed me that G adventures cancelled the trip and that my only option was to accept a 110% credit for a future G adventures trip booked in the next two years. G adventures currently does not plan to offer my same trip (Hiking South Africa) beyond this September and I am not interested in their other trip offerings, so I requested a full refund instead, which was flatly denied. I then contacted my travel insurance policy, which was obtained through my Chase Sapphire credit card, who informed me that the policy did not cover a trip cancelled by the Tour Operator - it only covered a trip cancelled on my end. Thus, I disputed my credit card charge to try to recover the $6500 that Tour Radar / G Adventures are holding of my money last week. Today, I received a threatening email from Tour Radar demanding that I drop my dispute or else risk losing my $1500 deposit. This troubling situation could be easily resolved if G Adventures is willing to process my full refund request for $6534.46.

i booked a flight with Carlton Leisure to Bangkok, on trying to check-in on line on the airline website, I was told that the ticket number was wrong and that there was no record of my booking. Carlton just said to try later or even in a few days and my details may be there then! they tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. Their Customer Service is dreadful and i am still unable to check in so don't know if my ticket is valid or not.

AVOID at all costs, my flight got cancelled months ago and I’m still waiting for a refund, I have been chasing them and still no clarification, at first they said 6 weeks and now they don’t know when it will happen, disgraceful and the customer service is shocking. It is clear that on trust pilot good reviews are being made up by them and their friends. They should be banned!

We rented a house for eight people in Maine to visit Acadia. They called us at 6pm the night before and told us they had double booked the house so our reservation was canceled. They offered us another house that was THREE HOURS from Acadia, on an island, accessible only by ferry, that we might be able to get our car on if we made reservations in advance. We called them and they told us to check AirBnB! We were lucky to find anything in the area for eight people on short notice. Nearly ruined our vacation. If there was a zero, I would give it to them.

Another family taken by Evolve. Booked a house in Anaheim in March. Everything closed due to pandemic. Initially canceled and were told we could not get a refund, end of story. 2 weeks later, funds were converted to a "credit" (after an email pleading for a refund). Clearly this is their modus operandi. Now I'm trying to use said credit. Can't do it online (they are supposedly working on it....) and when calling, I've now spent 2 hours on hold, in 30 minute blocks, only to be hung up on at the 30 minute mark, on the dot. Emails are not answered. Time to call AMEX and VRBO.

My flight was cancelled and the agent tried fobbing me off with a voucher or a date change as the airline does not give refunds. I contacted the airline who informed me this was not true and that the agent should issue me my refund. The agent has now told me 9 months wait time

As careful as I try to be, this site poses as the airline name with "esky" added in URL. After making my first of 4 reservations, I realized I was on the wrong site. I immediately called to cancel (within 30 seconds of making the reservation). The very accented and difficult to understand rep said it was within the 48 hour grace period and processed the cancellation. I was relieved and about to hang up when he informed me that, "oh wait, I forgot to mention that there will be a $33 cancellation fee." I said, "I went to the wrong site and made this 30 seconds ago." He said there was nothing he could do about it. My card was charged immediately but no confirmation emails for either the reservation or the cancellation ever arrived. I did see the refund posted the next day, but now the cancellation fee was $46. I plan to dispute this with my credit card company as soon as the charge is fully processed. The site is deceiving with the name of the airline as part of the URL. This seems to be a company outside the U.S. that acts as a broker making reservations for all airlines and adding a fee to do it. Why would anyone want to do that when you can go directly to the airline, avoid the fee and the deception and make your own reservation? Very bad mistake on my part. I will be even more vigilant in the future with online purchasing of any kind. The scammers are getting too good at this. We need to be smart too.

Don't fall for it. These guys exist for one purpose, to gain access to you funds and try to pry as much as they can from it. In my personal experience, they are downright offensive. Zero customer service. Oh, they'll respond to your email, but only enough to ask for money. Don't expect any real correspondence. The price they quoted was not honored, the flight was never actually booked, and they've refused so much as proper communication much less any chance of an honest accounting. The very definition of a con.

Hi All, I also had to cancel my tickets, here are a few tips that will speed up the process. I have spoken to my airline first and received an authorization code for the cancelation, this speeds up the procedure for the booking agent (flugladen.de). You can imagine they have plenty of work to do now. After applying for the refund, the airline will process it in a time of up to 3 months (info from Air China) so have some patience. The fact that you are not being responded to asap does not mean your request is not being processed. Also when contacting flugladen.de do it via their webpage panel. I have tried to write them an email and never was successful in getting an answer. Today after applying via their customer panel (you have to log in on their webpage) I have received an answer and confirmation within an hour from sending my request. I know it will take time but we can all do some prep to help them speed up the refund procedure! Cheers, Radek

I am a part of a group of 10 guys that have had an annual ski trip at the best mountains in the US and Canada [ 2021 will be our 27th year ] and when it is my turn to plan the trip [Telluride, CO in 2021], I turn to Leslie Shor and Ski.com. While we have very specific requirements [ski in/out; 7/8 bedrooms; pool table; outside hot tub, dates, budget etc.] Leslie delivered. Clearly COVID-19 challenges made the planning of our trip complicated, but Leslie was up to the task and found a house that met our requirements and regardless of the lack of response from the owners, secured the house at our targeted price on our specific dates..... Leslie is a rock star !!

Just Travel – A Cautionary Tale Having spent almost £500 for world insurance from Just Travel I naively thought I was covered for any calamities arising from travel problems. A flight in New Zealand was cancelled due to weather with the result we missed our tour connection, missed two days of tour which included sightseeing, travel, transfers and accommodation, and had to pay for additional alternative accommodation and travel to get to next catch up stop. As a consequence we lost £1000. Despite time consuming appeals etc the bottom line was that you have to read the small print and get out clauses. No redress whatsoever because it turns out the policy only covers main flights out and back – I wrongly made assumption (as most of us would I suspect) that all travel on the trip was covered. So be warned –I won’t be using them again, but if you do “buyer beware” and make sure you read the small print. You might not be covered at all!

I used JustTravel in 2018 and this year just booked with them for 3 further trips one of my trips in 2018 had to be cancelled for medical reasons as I went for unexpected knee surgery they were very understanding and helpful no quibble from the company I got the monies which was entitled to me returned. Their staff were most polite and helpful

Since our first meeting early September 2019 in Haarlem we have a very good feeling and full confidence of Explore Namibia and the detailed work executed by Riekie, Carmen and Marjolein for our 6 week travel through Namibia! Also when we reached Windhoek on 14th March we were excellent welcomed by Julia and Silvia and the Asco 4WD with camping facilities was detailed clarified by Gert. So very soon we were ready to go for our Namibia trip! During our magnificent travel the corona and limitations extended, however we did have limited internet access, which was not a concern at all for us, since we are of course more interested in Namibia, we did feel extreme safe in Namibia, so our feelings were to complete our six week travel.However Elise, Riekie, Julia and Silvia, advised us regular with detailed 'corona effect data', as we were not aware of at that moment in those details, and we basically underestimated at that particular moment the effects coming so very soon.We also appreciate your contacts on our flights with KLM, ending up with us to be located on the standby-list for the latest KLM flight from Windhoek on 26th March, being also the latest flight from Windhoek.So we returned to Explore Namibia in Windhoek on 25th March and it got clear for us, as explained by Julia and Silvia, that the early ending of our trip was coming very close, since also Namibia was creating certain lock-downs....Wow...To cancel our trip was a huge mind-change for both of us, but looking backwards, the ladies advised 100% correctly! As advised by Julia, we arrived at the airport on 26th March at 6 AM and we were put on the actual standby-list by KLM; luckily we were awarded both by a seat on this flight!And now being back in NL, taking into considerations that we could have been effected by another passenger with corona, we will stay on required distance from other persons.So we keep ourselves busy in and outside our house; looking outside on the green meadows seeing this morning with 5 degrees C, with 2 storks, a few swans, a number of geese and birds of course....In between our mind is still set on desert views in Namibia, with delicious temperatures, red sand and rocks, dozens of Oryx, multiple zebras, plenty of birds, a few snakes, etc... And even storm, rain and hailstones as big as marbles in Kalahari!The 12 days we did travel in Namibia were all stunning! Therefor our minds and feelings 'could not accept' to cancel our travel..... We really look forward to meet again first in Haarlem, later in Windhoek to continue / complete our remaining 4.5 week camper trip in Namibia!

I emailed to ask if a holiday was available and was called back within 10mins. The holiday I was looking at was sold out but we discussed my requirements and budget and another suitable holiday was found. Having done a huge amount of research myself this was the best price available, including direct from the tour operators. I will definitely use Iglu Ski again.

This two hour excursion included driving the rim of the ancient volcano above Akaroa to see the harbor and local plants. Our guide Benoit or Ben. a 8 yr inhabitant from France was very knowledgeable about birds, plants and conservation. He explained the 50 million possums that have overrun the country's forests. We examined 4 wooden boxes places on a hillside with a single opening that contained one or 2 blue penguins that would quickly hide their faces and huddle at the back of their man made Burrow. You have to be quick to capture a picture. I was hoping to see some coming onto shore but that occurs very late in the afternoon. My biggest concern was we paid more than $100 more per booking than the $65 pp new Zealand dollar on site that is only $42.50 US dollars each.

We were a group of 24 people, my office colleagues. Joy Travels planned with whole trip for us. I really enjoyed the facilities, provided during the trip. Our handler was very frank and supportive. Surfiran totally recommended. Our guide Ali became more a friend than a tour guide. Ali was so knowledgeable and passionate. Emails to Surfiran were always answered promptly and I did have many questions! Saw some truly wonderful sights and have such wonderful memories of the most hospitable people I have ever met. Surfiran was wonderful in helping plan a perfect trip to Iran around my very specific requests. I was surprised at how reasonable the rates were. Sadly reality has stepped in and the trip delayed but I have been so grateful for their continuing contacts and interesting and enticing emails about Iran and its culture heritage and treasures. While my trip has been postponed, I am more than ever looking forward to day when I can visit Iran in person, thanks to Surfiran

Over all everything went smooth.. Just a few now and then. Mr. Rehman was very helpful. Attended phones even at night..Great work Nitsa and the team. A local temprory sim to the guest would be a great idea to be in touch with the guest.

You are invited to a timeshare presentation and coached right in front of their unmarked building in Playa Del Carmen. Of course you go along with it because you don't want to forfeit your gifts. They only want people with vacation ownerships and require you to bring your contract membership number and credit cards. They even ask you how much money you have available to charge. Respectfully you asked not to using your cell phone during the presentation. This is to prevent you from due diligence research. Then they offer you much more than you paid for your contract. You then see that for every $500 you deposit with them will get your $1,500 in travel money. Hold on, they bring you out a check in you name....as a down deposit only on the $15,000 fake travel club. Oh, I forgot the first day discount. Scam company. Use Google Earth to view the address:124 Broadkill Rd. Ste. 350 Milton, De. No such address with a Suite Number 350. The single story building uses suite numbers that begin with a 1, as in 120, 122, 124 etc.. Also pull up the address on Yahoo maps. This review will be removed because they will have it removed like the other reviews of this kind.

Yes MyHolidays is a scam. I just booked a business class ticket on Singapore air and when I checked the booking on the Singapore web site they booked it as an economy ticket. I double checked my receipt email and it says business class. I will be filing a credit card dispute. Do not book with these people.

These guys are a bunch of scammers avoid at all cost. They charge you and them demand for more money and when you do not agree to pay they keep your money for a while till you get tired. After payment they send a confirmation mail saying I will get the tickets in 30 minutes. 1. Had to call them inquiring about tickets when i didn't receive it after an hour. Then they demand for more money which I refused to do 2. Then they delay sending tickets, then when i call again in the evening they say they cannot do the booking as 2 passengers names are too long. I said refund me back the money.Then they kept on delaying the refund process. 3. Their customer support team located somewhere in India I believe sounds really dodgy and has no skills of customer service. They are talking as if they are sleeping and keeps you on hold number of times and has no idea of customer support or concern about your problem. 4. Luckily I paid via my credit card and managed to work with my bank to get the money back. However I wasted lot of time and effort with these scammers. Avoid at all cost. I am going to report these fellows to SkyScanner as well as they shoal not have listed them in the first place. Read reviews of others and you will see a pattern of similar problems. should have done that before paying them which was my mistake. I learnt my lesson. I manged to get my tickets for less directly from the domestic providers here with no fuss after all this dramas.

Bunch of Crooks! Stealing you money. I have been waiting for my refund for more than three months now without any results. Four weeks ago they made me me believe that I would get my refund in 3-5 working days. Still no money on my account. I have spoken to several people from their stuff strictly online because their lines are always off or no one is reachable. I believe I am contacting always with the same person under different fake contact names. Fake company Fake staff. Avoid them at all costs!

What to say about this lot of liars and cheats. Refusing customers refunds, changing their TandCs to make money, preaching all travel laws and making stuff up as they go along, Travelup are gonna be the death of every single travel agent in the uk as no one will ever use them.

All organised by Georgie Pomfret at Deansgate Manchester. Can not thank her enough for the super organisation of the flights and hotel. Impossible to get refund to which we are entitled. Disgraceful and causing undue stress to customers. And they have the audacity to advertise holidays for 2021 when they’re not looking after customers who booked for 2020 and have had their holidays canceled.

Avoid this company at all cost! the return leg of my flight was cancelled (due the covid outbreak and Virgin Atlantic cancelling flight) I contact Virgin Atlantic who told me that i am legible for a refund my claim has to be submitting to the agency i bought my Ticket from (Travel Trolley) i did this at the end of March and been e-mailing and calling then ever since. Each time i call i get given a new e-mail address to send my ticket / invoice details to (which i do) and each time i get no reply to the e-mail!! I am up to 5 different e-mail addresses now! 3 months later no reply / no refund. I strongly suggest this company be investigated and it feels like a being scammed (given different e-mail address each time i call)

DO NOT USE OR BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. tt are a travel agent... Saying this extremely light.. As in fake. They take your money... They do not inform you of any changes made to your flights, then they expect you to contact the airline directly to refund... They are the travel agent and legally they are you port of call for any help, information etc. But they won't help, unless you threaten them with legal advice. They don't like to contact you, or respond to emails. If u want a reply then email the ceo directly.. U soon get anwers!!!
