I was previously insured through there sister company and received the email they were merging approximately a month before renewal. I contacted them to ask a few questions about what this would mean to me. They answered all my questions in a professional manner and then checked my details so they could provide a competitive quote. Despite insurance prices going up, they bent over backwards to give me a renewal cost, as close as possible to my previous costs. After a short while and discussions with his superiors, my original insurance price quoted was reduced to well within £100 of last years price.

The broker representative (who I dealt with on the phone) was helpful and professional. The premium for the policy was acceptable. However, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Lets hope I don't need to make a claim on the policy. If I do need to make a claim, let's hope the policy meets all the expectations promised by the broker rep.

What do i think i spoke to 2 different people who assured me that this ins had been cancelled as per my request and no payment would be deducted and would be confirmed by a personal call back however i have just had paynent tajen from account 2 days late so it certainly could have been stopped and now an email thanking me for purchasing their product at over twice the price i have secured alternative product for with higher cover They are just out to rob you

Excellent service when reporting accident and also very good and helpful in getting repair done only criticism is I had a voucher for £250 towards excess but still waiting on it being repaid to me. Would recommend Renault insurance only thing it is verhy expensive and £500 is a very steep excess.

My no fault claim was dealt with by Kindertons Accident Management on behalf of Renault Insurance. Whilst the staff were fairly nice and friendly I found it very difficult to actually get hold of my case handler so ended up speaking to lots of different people. Also had to do a fair amount of chasing to get updates on what was happening with my car and claim, they weren't very proactive at keeping me informed.

I quoted online for an insurance after which they kept calling me on a daily basis for two weeks, when I decided to go for the insurance and I asked another quote for another insurance they charged me administration fee on top of it, which would be acceptable as long I know about that I have an option to buy it online without the administration fee. So they mentioned the administration fee included in the price but didn't explain what this fee was for and that I could do it myself online for free instead of their £27 (from memory). Next day I spoke to the customer service mentioning my problem although the lady on the phone was very courteous but no help at all, saying if someone on the phone they never tell them to go online as their customer service is professional and they know what we need etc, end of the day I answered all the questions took a couple of minutes, I could have done it online easily. Feel cheated, not happy with this company as I've been mislead by not mentioning my options.

They charged me twice for cancelling. When I cancelled my policy I found out that Brightside wanted to charge me £60 and the insurer also wanted to charge me £60. This is a scam. I filed a complaint with Brightside at which time I was told I would have a response within seven days. No response but they have taken the money, £120. Do not use this broker, they are a con.

Disgusted with Rescue My Car. We took out a policy with them and explained we transport animals as part of our business (to make sure this was covered). They added this information to their records (they even mentioned it when we phoned them up to be rescued). We were never made aware in any shape or form when taking up the policy that they would not come if we had animals in the vehicle! We wanted to make sure if anything happened we would be OK, hence phoned them before taking out the policy. Our van broke down today and they refused to help as we had animals in the vehicle! This is basically fraud as far as I am concerned and I will be taking this further. Not an honest company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company might be cheap but trust me it’s worth spending the extra bit of money for an actual service. I rang this company at 6pm and booked my car in to be towed home, they said they would arrive at 8.15pm which is already quite a long time for a service that claims to be fast! After waiting till 8.30pm with no one in sight I decided to ring them as to which I was told that it would be past 10pm until someone can get to me. No one had tried to let me know there had been a 2 hour delay. I decided to get a taxi back home and come back out when they were actually there, at 10.30pm I rang them and they said they would be there for 10:46pm and I made sure this time it was actually going to be that time and customer support assured me it would. I get there and wait 5 mins before ringing back up to be told that it was going to be another 1.5 hours on top of that ? with no explanation. Decided to cancel the booking as soon as I heard that. This company is beyond a joke and the woman at customer service can only be described as a ‘Karen’ of this generation. Disgraceful company and appalling lack of empathy from the customer support team. Once again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I got the worst experience of AA employee today ... today my car battery got dead next to AA van... i asked for borrow jumper leads for only 2 mins and i was with my family and it was tooo cold ... and employee of AA said you have to pay for a year fees of AA otherwise i will not give you jumper leads .. he stayed there for around 20mins but didn't give us a single cable .. our second car was also there but jumper leads was missing ... so, after that i understand that AA are unhuman... i dont think so, that AA employee was human... worst worst inhuman manner... officals needs to say sorry behalf of them ... at that time i was without my bank card that is why not able to pay for a year membership ... and he literally said that i will not help you ... my family was shacking due to cold

I took out a fully comprehensive policy with the AA I also payed extra for legal cover up to £50k if my memory serves me correctly. A couple of weeks into my policy a horse that was being walked on a highway (because it was out of control) kicked my nearside front door. The owner admitted liability on the spot and supplied me with her insurance details and the AA at a later date. I was told to take my vehicle to a AA authorised repair centre for a estimate. No problems so far , I was then contacted by the garage to be told everything is sorted and a date was arranged for the repair once repaired I paid £350 excess and waited to be refunded. I received a letter from the AA a few weeks or so later telling me my money would be refunded and they needed my account number , looking at the letter the amount wasn't correct it was for a lot more money than I paid so I queried this and it wasn't even my claim they were going to refund me for and after numerous calls they never answered this one. So after numerous calls I still hadn't received my excess back but eventually I was told that it would have to be a loss accident as it wasn't cost effective for them to chase up my claim even though I had legal cover , basically the repair was £750 I paid £350 towards it so it wasn't cost effective for them to chase up £400 now I've managed to get back £250 via go compare BUT I've now to inform insurers I've had a loss accident for the next 3 years luckily I also insured my no claims but the AA have already informed me my policy will increase because of this claim. I'm seriously seeking legal advice over how I was treated with this claim especially after I'd payed extra for legal cover.
