Brilliant service and a complete gentleman, him and a colleague did a full boiler conversion in what really was a day, the old system was ripped out and new one in the first day with just final plumbing on the second, then came back to do a power flush on the third.

My first association with JPL Plumbing was in the summer of 2016 when we decided to remove the gas fire and chimney breast from our static caravan. Not only did Jason complete the necessary gas work he also removed the chimney breast, made good the exposed area and fitted a plug-in electric fire. The work was completed to a high standard, in a timely fashion and at a competitive cost. Since that date I have always used JPL Plumbing for the annual works such as the gas safety checks, winter drain downs and subsequent reconnections. Communications with JPL Plumbing is always easy and I have found them to be very accommodating with all my requests. It is a pleasure dealing with both Jason and his wife and I don’t hesitate in recommending their business. In fact I only wish they operated a bit nearer to my permanent address so I could use their services there too.

Had a leak from s valve on the tank called a few people could not get anyone to come the same day then called Subs Plumbing said he was very busy but would get to me late afternoon as it was an emergency. I ordered a sink on jan 12th, with an estimated delivery time for the end of February. I checked the delivery date on February 23rd and saw the sink was now estimated for April 30th. No one had contacted me, so I was not made aware of any delay. I called Lusso to find out if the date was correct and was told on the phone the delivery could be July. In an email I was assured in was still estimated for end of April. This is now the only item missing in the entire house refurb and the date for delivery is now end of JUNE. I have had to chase Lusso each time to be aware of the delays, and they wash their hands of any responsibilities as it is an ‘estimated delivery time’. I’m sure if I estimated I would pay in January and didn’t pay until July things would be different. The delays have left me with several bad options, I wish I had been told it could take this long at the start and could have gone elsewhere. I could now order a different sink, and have to wait for that to arrive, and pay the builder to return and fit it, or wait for this one, which I feel now may never arrive, and pay the builder to return and fit it. The bathroom has already been made to accommodate this sink and this has left me in a frustrating position. Lusso have been uncommunicative and I have received no compensation and no apology. It’s ‘challenging times’ apparently. AVOID.

We have had a McDonald's cylinder for 8 years storing hot water from a solid fuel stove in winter, solar panels in summer and topped up via a gas boiler as required. Recently a problem relating to the overheat radiators and solar panel system led to a call to McDonald's for advice. Bruce was fantastic, taking the time to listen, checking photos and calling back as promised. His clear advice gave me the confidence to make an adjustment which has solved the problem. I am chuffed to bits! It's rare these days to find good technical advice at the end of the phone, so many thanks to Bruce and well done McDonald's.

I cannot comment on reliability as the thermal store I recently purchased has only been in place for 6 weeks but in all other respects McDonalds have been fantastic. My need was for for a bespoke Thermal store in terms of its size as it had to go into the loft through a narrow access flap. It was absolutely no issue to have the rectangular tank made longer, narrower and taller than the standard size. This was discussed on the phone and followed up with a full drawing. The tank arrived from Scotland within about 5 days I cannot recommend them too highly

High seat bidet toilet seems good but won't really know until plumber arrives in a few weeks to fit it. Delivery (which we paid £35 for) was a bit awkward as we have a gravel drive and the delivery man said his trolley wouldn't wheel on gravel with heavy loads. It was not an option to leave the pallet on the pavement of our busy main road until my husband got home as it could have got damaged or stolen as well as blocking the entire footpath. So after much debating, he attempted to wheel it and it was ok. Once on the drive I cut the ties and found I could carry the toilet into the house, which raises the question as to why it was even delivered on a large heavy pallet that we now have to dispose of?

I have a Merlyn 10 shower enclosure and had two reasons to contact Merlyn since purchase. First, several years ago, was due to poor installation by the builder, which a technician put right. More recently the plastic 'strainer' of the waste got cracked and Merlyn sent a replacement. Both times Merlyn responded very quickly - their customer care is brilliant. (And so is the shower enclosure!)

We had a Merlyn Arysto 10 Shower system installed in July 2019, now, for whatever reason during our regular cleaning of the shower, our bottom door seal has a split, I rang the company today 24 March '20, I received such an excellent after sales support response I felt I had to let people know, what a very helpful company, my part is in the post free of charge and a most helpful conversation with a 'stay safe' comment during this Covid-19 situation. Well done company.

I appointed Milcol to carry out all plumbing and heating works for refurbishment of my five bedroom, 300 year old property. Milcol installed all new pipe work throughout the property, a new central heating system including repositioning of the boiler, complete fitting of additional newly built bathrooms and en-suites and redirection of external gas supply pipe to the property. All the work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, the Milcol team are extremely professional, friendly, hard working and very knowledgeable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anybody. I could not have asked for a better job.

TBH we purchased a different bath from another supplier and it was pathetic, not room for 1 let alone 2 being double ended. We returned that bath feeling very misled and disappointed then brought the new bath from bathroom supastore. We did have to wait a few weeks for the bath because of the current virus situation and we were kept updated the whole time. We can 100% tell you it was well worth the wait. The bath we chose is fantastic and so deep it’s literally the best bath we have ever purchased. We are very happy with the service we received and the bath is amazing and as it had been a while since we ordered our bath we were offered a refund which we declined as we were happy to wait. I have written this review having now had our first experience using the bath. Thank you

We had the misfortune to have what amounted to a total failure of our solar powered hot water system, leading to a disastrous fracture of a high pressure hot water pipe late at night. Brendan and his team have worked assiduously for weeks to replace our whole hot water system and reconnect and commission a very complicated solar control unit, which had never been installed properly when the house was built 11 years ago. They stuck with it until it worked perfectly. What is so special about Heatwize (and I've been dealing with plumbers since I bought my first home 40 years ago) is: - they always turned up when they said they would - they returned e-mails within a few hours - they always answered the phone - they were invariably polite - they didn't spend the day swearing ( although there was much to swear about!) - they don't bring a large radio with them and play music all day - they were scrupulously clean and tidy - they spend days longer on this job than they had quoted for but didn't keep demanding more money - they were honest, straightforward and decent With the work completed, we have had no hesitation in signing up for one of their maintenance cover plans. I have no hesitation in recommending them - it was a pleasure to have them in our home.

Boiler Breakdowns fitted the boiler in a day (others where quoting 2 days), was able to come out in 24 hours (other company let me down and would have to wait another week in these cold conditions) and did a great job with a complicated system while also advising me on what was best for the system. Very bad experience.Never use them again.I paid them £84 to check the boiler before we sign the contract for House purchase.They gave us certificate for boiler which which did not has hot water.The boiler did not work properly and they did not tell us.Now we need to bay new boiler without price reduce from seller.

Camden Plumbers replaced my bathroom from 18-26th February 2020. Marcus is the nicest guy you will ever meet, very professional and also a family man so I felt very safe having him in my flat and love that this is a small local business. The communication was excellent and the work was done quickly and to a high standard. Marcus respected my flat and always kept the work area really tidy. This company is great at making sure you are happy with the work and keeping you informed of the process every step of the way. I cannot recommend Camden Plumbers enough, they are fantastic!!

I was very impressed with the level of service I received from Clickbasin from day one. I ordered a made-to-measure shower enclosure from Clickbathrooms and, after about 15 days, it was delivered, within the promised timeframe. Two sturdy pieces of glass, delivered by their very helpful driver Steve, who phoned me a day or two before to arrange a delivery time and, on the day, called to tell me he had been delayed in traffic. The fittings (hinges,handles and seals), came via courier the next day. The enclosure was quite expensive but is what you might term 'high end', and now it is operational looks very smart indeed. I had no problems communicating with them for advice etc. - once I got used to their preference for email. On the day of fitting my plumber and self needed some advice: I sent an email and received a call from James within 15 minutes; good advice and solved our problems. A word of caution for purchasers of made-to-measure enclosures or doors: make sure you have the correct measurements and tell them of any problems with out-of-square apertures or walls out of plumb. As they say, If they know these things they can factor it in to your build. Another thing; these enclosures are heavy; get yourself a good fitter/plumber; I did and I am delighted with the look of my new shower.

DPJ completed the installation of my new ATAG boiler (Rugeley) little over 3 weeks ago. This is quite the upgrade from Gravity, coal back boiler. The Nest thermostat rounds the system off nicely for the new smart age. I found DPJ to be extremely honest, competitively priced and consummate professionals. I would not hostage to recommend. The rather complex upgrade was completed with minimal disruption in a home with 3 small kids. I did not expect to find this level of quality and professionalism from a local supplier. By far, the best tradesman to have worked in my home.

Last march this plumber attended to service my Ideal Classic gas boiler. The boiler was working fine until this joker touched it. He said he needed to order a part and left my wife and I who are pensioners in the freezing cold with red tape stuck across the boiler stating do not use. A day or two later he attended and fitted the part and all was well. Late in the same year in November we decided to have the boiler serviced early to get ready for winter. Once again this joker turns up to service a perfectly working boiler. After 4 hours of continually leaving the house making calls on his mobile he declared he could not get the boiler to ignite and left us without any heating for a second time. As we were freezing we called another engineer who rectified the problem within 5 minutes. This joker had failed to connect the pressure tubes from the fan to the pressure switch effectively rendering the boiler unusable. Avoid using this firm they are a joke.

Wanting to purchase 5 x metal channel covers, Trying to phone for some information on the product because there pictures would suggest it doesn’t fit Clark Drain channel. After 4 rings they hung up the phone !!!! Your reviews and the fact that your phone number on the website isn’t a link to call suggests to me that your not very good to put it nicely.

Didn’t arrive on the day specified rang twice They wouldn’t check on status waited all day till 8.00pm REALLY FRUSTRATING missed my Severn Trent assessment had to wait 11 days to get a new one I rang the next morning and complained within an hour it arrived a day late they checked with courier and were only loading it on the morning why they couldn’t have checked with the courier on the actual planned delivery day God Only knows I would have not had a wasted day waiting in vein. You should check when people ask instead of just hoping for the best I paid £25 for delivery I’m still waiting for my refund or even an apology

Shoddy, unreliable shower. Developed a fault within two months of fitting. Engineer would not go up in loft as there is no loft ladder in my property. Had to pay my own plumber. Now the heat sensor has tripped, so only cold water running. Switch cannot be reset as is usual with electrical appliances. Customer service disinterested & sent a generic response. Avoid at all costs.

In late 2008 we purchase a home in the mountain region of Northern California, being from the bay area we had never had to deal with wells and septic before so we were very cautious we had had our septic pumped out as suggested after three year. Big mistake! Within the first year after, we started having problems, we used ever product we could find at our big box stores but it only worked for short periods. In 2013 we were faced with having to have our septic replaced or repaired, they weren't sure and would only know after digging up the lines. I was going to cost literally thousands of dollars, we were sick about it! I got on the computer and did research for a few days until I came across New Tech Bio. I was impressed! I contacted them and told them the problems we were facing and was told they truly believed the products they had chosen for me would work. I was reluctant because it was going to cost almost $500.00 but then I was facing thousands of dollar in repair or replacement and he all but guaranteed me they could help and they'd be there along the way. BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE!!! It took about four month total but got a little better every month. We haven't had a problem since but I'm reordering and doing the same treatment just as a precaution as I will never have the tanks cleaned out again. New Tech Bio is my go to for everything septic. They have awesome customer service and an undeniable product line that puts all the others to shame. Bite the bullet and try it, you'll love it. We sure do!

Great product..Got our old cesspool system working again! Been using this product for a few years as part of our maintenance program. Works wonders..I recommend to everyone who has septic issues. Really, stay away from harsh cleaning chemicals going into your system and this NT MAX will do wonders. Don't waste your money on box store products. Like most, I was very hesitant at first to purchase this product due to sticker shock. Now I am a returning customer! Contact these guys, they will get you working again or start a preventive maintenance program. I have dealt with Corey and Rob at New Tech, and they are both great people to work with!!

Ordering on line was good. one problem Was the street 90 was not a factory part it was cut down and a nipple was glued in. This reduced the pressure rating of this fitting and also increased the dimensions of the overall size. I asked for the proper fitting and was told they did not exist. I know for a fact that they are available. I also asked your rep for factory certification of pressure and factory approval of this fitting. This I did not receive. I would like to first start by saying I Purchased a Fontana Shower set on Amazon in 2014 the shower started becoming cold and I was told by my plumber I needed a thermostatic cartridge when I contacted horzon direct depot Who sold me the shower set they were unable to find this cartridge I was getting ready to go on Amazon and tell people not to buy this Fontana shower set at $700 when I decided to contact Fontana. I would like to say in an era where customer service has become increasingly obsolete Marzena was amazing she was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to my messages I could tell she was working hard to find the part that I needed instead of writing a bad review on Fontana and telling people not to buy their shower sets instead and I am now thoroughly impressed and would recommend them to anybody she is a great employee for your company and should be rewarded or promoted and I hope you do so thank you very much!

Their products come from China. Delivery was delayed multiple weeks. The soap dispensers finally arrived and 14 out of 14 were BROKEN. The batteries did not fit. When you could force the batteries in the machines either did not work or they dripped soap out. Did not work at all

The shower door was not centered-it was off by a 1/2 inch-so it did not line up with the end of the tile accent in the shower area. It seems very obvious when you look where the hinges were secured to the wall...the tile accent extends a 1/2 inch. When the installers came back to see the discrepancy they argued with the contractor about the placement of the door...the accent tile extends past the door a 1/2 inch; had the door been positioned exactly in the middle of the saddle then the door and tile would have lined up perfectly...will unfortunately have to live with it!
