So after looking at this product I decided to do some investigating. Now when this product is in use on an electric shower it creates a flow restriction. This it what gives it improved pressure. Unfortunately electric showers are carefully designed with water flow to prevent the heating element burning out. After speaking to both Mira and Aqualisa they confirmed that this product will void your warranty, and seriously reduce the lifespan of your shower. When I questioned stone stream about this on Facebook they quickly deleted my post and blocked me to prevent me making another. If your shower is under warranty then do not use this product!

Like others I checked Glow Green's Trust Pilot reviews and they seemed to be a mix of good and bad. However my experience was excellent. Well, this is efficiency at its best. I am generally a cautions person when it comes to give praises but I won't be shy here. From the quotation to the installation it was all a breeze. Needless to say that when your boiler has given up you are very much hoping that you can get a resolution in the shortest of times. This is exactly the experience I had. I booked my appointment on the Thursday and by the Monday of the following week I had a shiny new boiler set up and running. I would like to draw attention to Paul, the engineer who came to do the work. He was ponctual, courteous and professional. I really felt he knew what he was doing and he delivered above and beyond. Thanks again.

This is our second Valiant boiler and was recommended and supplied by a Valiant authorised installer. After significant building works had been completed the original boiler was inadequate so we upgraded and have been really impressed with the new and more modern product. The house is now much warmer and the system way more efficient. Easy to install and use and a way lower cost than we had expected.

I have 3 property's I have cover with… I have 3 property's I have cover with hometree.I have called them out 3 times and had trouble ..1st was for my gas check the man kept asking me how i have these property's and I should cancel cover and go directly through him ...2nd callout toilet would not flush,plumber came out then left didn't know why ..luckily the company who were doing job left me there number I asked them why they left they said we would have to remove tiles and need authorisation from hometree but they could never get in contact with them ..10 days later after 40 or 50 calls to hometree 1 lady was helpful and they sorted it ....today I rang the company I have water pouring out under my sink ..they said Monday at 1st in 2 days time,I said its going to wreck my home she said we will try for today..I then got a call off a company saying we are sorry we do not cover your area we tried calling hometree..no reply..I rang hometree took ages and they said we are sorry we are closed weekends they will call you back 24 hours ...I had to get a plumber £185 just now ...what a JOKE...UPDATE.Just had head office of hometree asking about my review I told her your plumber had still not been,she said I can understand how frustrated you've been we really do apologise,I said I've cancelled all my direct debits she then sent an email you owe us £90 for cancelling thankyou

Awful - Avoid! Booked a call out Thursday by Friday still no confirmed date. I decided to investigate myself and pulled up my living room floor. Under the house is swimming with sewage and all electrical cables are under water. Hometree didn’t even send someone till the next day then I was told the house is unsafe, poisoning fumes, no water, no electricity, no where to live and hometree says they may be able to get someone out later next week. Ignore all the vulnerability stuff and emergency response it’s not true. We had no water or electricity yesterday and slept with poison fumes all cause they were busy. Hometree I have got drains, plumbing and electricity insurance with you. Please sort it out. Update- Saturday evening Hometree told me I’m not covered and can’t help even though I am covered!

I ordered $50k in modular platform components online. shortly after placing the order, I called the branch and main office to make sure the order was being processed. I check again 22 days later. The website says the items are available for pickup, so I call to arrange for pickup of my order at the branch. Guess what......the items had not even moved from the manufacturer. NOTHING had happened in 22 days. No phone call or email notifications - NOTHING! So what is the point of having an online system that obviously does not work?

I like True Value in our area, at least. The help is excellent, the products for a hardware store are top of the line. Costs a bit more than Home Depot, but quality of goods is superior. I like Home Depot as well, but rate them with 3.5 stars because they deduct a percentage of each sale when you return items and too many of their items are less than quality. True Value, however, accepts returns at full value. Both stores offer 10% discount for veterans, which I appreciate. Edit: since writing the above this store has changed hands or managers. The original and exceptional help is gone, the place is way too loud with background music that isn't calming music and the service is not as good as before. I drop them from a five star to a three.

I have shopped True Value when I am in a bind and they are close but that is very rare because they are much more expensive then say Lowe's or Home Depot. Plus they done have a very large selections of product. I don't recommend then at all unless you are in dire need for something and it is a common item.

As useless a chocolate teapot : Over the last two days (19th & 20th Sept. 2020) I have had nothing but bad service at the B&Q Cardiff stores at Culverhouse Cross and Cardiff Gate respectively. As a non tradesman on my visit to both stores I asked for assistance in buying some electrical products. Each time I was told by staff members that they only stack shelves and have no knowledge of the products, which was a real great help (not ! ) to me. On the last trip I was told by a staff member that I could speak to someone who works in the electrical isle. Great I thought, only to find he stated the same statement ! And I had waited 10 minutes for him to come and give me useless information ! On the items I did take a chance on I made my way to the check out to find they apparently didn't have bar codes on so I couldn't purchase them ! I waited about 15 minutes at the checkout for a store member to find the replacement items with the bar codes on. He didn't return so now I was totally fed up and left the store with no purchases. What a waste of my time !

At first I was not happy with the way our unit was delivered because they tried to deliver it with a large 18 wheel tractor/trailer in a small residential neighborhood and it caused a lot of issues. However, they stood behind a warranty issue we had. Approximately 4 weeks after the unit was installed, a plastic sticky back clamp that was used to hold a wire harness inside the unit, came loose causing the wires to get sucked and entangled in the condenser motor...ruining the motor and the fan blades. They were quick to send a new motor and fan blade.

They came and took the curtains and I paid a 50% deposit on $550 quote. They were supposed to delivery the curtains back in 5-7 business days. They took three weeks to return the curtains and the curtains had not been cleaned. They were also placed in garbage bags and all creased. They were difficult to get a hold of and would not return calls. I called the company on the number 1800173334 and they said they would deal with it next week. I explained that I did not want to wait until next week and want my money back. The supervisor on the phone began yelling and told me to “watch yourself” he told me to “screw off” and called me a “freaking wench”. He hung up. I’d like my money returned.

I called this company to get my carpet fixed and it was booked for a Saturday and I had a text message on Thursday night saying they could not come as the repairer was having a medical emergency on Saturday, must have had ESP to know that !!! it was booked again for the following Wednesday NO CALL, DIDN'T TURN UP shame on you but after reading all your reviews looks like I dodged a bullet...

Was quoted $140-180 over the phone for three rooms. When the operator arrived her informed me of a $50 charge per room for and end of lease clean. I agreed. Upon giving me my invoice he informs me the cost is now $506 and I must bank transfer the funds immediately. Having thought about it and deciding this was an extortionate charge I complained and was told because I paid at the time I had no grounds to request any money back. The job was also terrible and left stains so when asked to return to clean again (which was allegedly included in the $50 per room fee) I was told as it was more than 24 hours later I wasn’t entitled to them fixing the issue. GO ELSEWHERE.

We recently had a carpet repair done and days later it is all freying at the joins. Job was also higher $ value than we were quoted. Tradesman was late due to car breaking down. Job was booked in for 11am he texted as he wanted to attend at 2.30pm. I said not good enough and he arrived at 12.30. Our work was done by Marks Maintenance contracting. I haven't bother to complain about the poor quality of the job, as from other reviews I can see the company does not care.

AVOID - They simply hand off to a contractor company - Mine was Mark Maintenance cleaning. Just avoid and do no use these guys. I asked to remove the urine smell from my dog. The next day it was worse and they said i never asked for it to be cleaned. They keep saying "NO REFUNDS" I have processed a chargeback on my credit card. Hopeless company.

Do not use these scam artists. Had them come in to do a duct cleaning job. Literally sprayed tea tree oil into the vent, blew some compressed air into the vent and placed a vacuum onto the vent. Not only was is a half arsed job, the operator damaged my brand new laminate flooring with their ladder (we found the damage the next day when cleaning the floors). Lodged a complaint with the company to be met with a call from the worker saying how i must of taken a drill to my new floor... then told me to "get f%^&ed and take me to court then". DO NOT USE THEM, LOOK ELSE WHERE FOR THIS WORK

This was my first order with Coolerguys and I have to say that they are an outstandingly excellent merchant! Order was placed during the middle of the final crush of the holiday season (12-16). Normally I try not to order anything during this period but they were the only (remaining) merchant in the U.S. I could find that carried this part and I did not want to take any chances on them selling out. Well, they came through with flying colors! Order was shipped same day. I received and initial order confirmation email within an hour of placing the order followed by a ship-out confirmation email 3 hours later. Parts arrived well packaged and as ordered. Simply perfect. Only very minor gripe would be that shipping was just a little on the high side but well within acceptable. Overall I could not have asked for a better shopping experience and I will make a point of patronizing this merchant in the future so long as they continue deliver outstanding retail service.

Check! 1" stainless steel round bar stock? #8 x 0.750" aluminum spacers? Check! And the search feature on their website is amazing! Just start to type what you want and it anticipates and displays similar items. Two clicks and you're at the page with the part descriptions, pictures and pricing. Another click and the part is in your shopping cart. They ship very quickly and the freight charge isn't outrageous.I think they still offer a flat-rate $9 but I could be confusing them with someone else.

There is nothing intuitive about this website - it gives no hint or clue about what country it is in, where it ships to, or even if it is real at all. It is happy to take my credit card, but simply says "shipping and tax will be added" without giving any hint or clue about how much that might be - the entire thing looks like a scam where the hackers didn't even try to make it ask for everything needed to complete an order. If this site is real at all, they need to make it work properly, so customers can actually buy stuff. Nobody hands over their payment details without knowing the price, or where shipping can go to.

I recently purchased a heavy duty dehumidifier from IAQSource, and the experience was completely positive. I ordered 16 mouldings at lakewood ca store for laminate floor. They sent only 2 pcs in a week. So I called the store. They told me it was a mistake. Ater 2 weeks they sent me 7pcs more. But the other 7 pcs are still missing. Fedex tracking showed only the label was printed. Nobody follows up. I called the store again and again. Later I returned 3 of them because they were not match to my floor. They received returns but said the corp. check will be mailed in 3=4 weeks. Never heard or experienced that slow services.

I ordered a couple wood transition bars from Lumber Liquidators on May 11th. They assured me they would call when the order arrived at my local store. It is now September 1st and they still have no resolved their error. The order was delivered, but they never told me. Their website claimed the order was still pending-- after a FULL MONTH. That added several months to my home remodel. Then when I finally stopped into the store, they realized they screwed up the order. They said they would fix it and the correct item would arrive in a week. Three weeks later, they finally admitted they shipped the order to the wrong store. A week after that, I finally received the transition bar. When I contacted customer service, they told me they would resolve it. I spoke to "Lucas." I have tried calling Lucas several times, leaving voicemails, with no response. Working with them for a simple item was a nightmare.

I ordered on line and received the four tool boxes, drop shipped from the manufacturer to me in Ohio in two days. They shipped Fed Ex and I was advised by e-mail as to when to expect the delivery. The boxes were in excellent condition, and exactly as I had ordered. I suspect this company drop ships from the manufacturers a lot, but that is fine with me, as the manufacturers know how to package their own products. We purchased a Santec Roman bath tub faucet set from H&S. I mistakenly ordered the set without the handheld shower. Within 24 hours, Joe Vingray was able to confirm the shower would be shipped at no additional charge. I also ordered a Hansgrohe shower pipe from Joe. The price was slightly over half what I paid for the same product from a local supplier when we renovated our other bathroom last month. Placed an order on 12/15 while home on vacation and able to accept it. On 12/17 I received an email with FEDEX Tracking # saying my order had shipped 12/14 and would arrive 12/18. On 12/14 I had not even placed the order yet? As of 12/21 no product. I am in NJ and Filter Ace in NYC, should have been overnite delivery with regular Ground Shipping. I wrote an email which Danny promptly answered at 9:40am and said he agreed the email notification was confusing and they would ship it out on the 26th after the holiday because they missed the pick up for today. Anywhere I`ve ever worked UPS,FEDEX,DHL etc come twice a day to deliver in the morning and pick up outgoing parcels in the afternoon, so I believe he still could have made the shipment 12/21. I would not normally be this critical but as you can guess after getting home from work on the 26th. I have no Tracking information email. Sent Danny another inquiry, no it did not go out as promised. He will definately send it the 27th which did occur and I received it the 28th. I do not attribute my poor service experience to the Christmas rush, solely due to the nature of the items they sell, therefore it is probably closer to the norm. I should note this was a small order $ wise and I used PayPal, so they got their money up front with no delay in CC/Fraud Prevention verification. I should be grateful I suppose though that my worst internet shopping experience was only a 10 day delay in shipment on an in stock item.

Recently purchased caulking from these folks and unfortunately I ordered the wrong color. However, they would only take one box back b/c the other box was open and one of the tubes was used. Problem is they charged me full for shipping and had me pay for shipping to send it back as well. The fair thing to do would have been to credit me at least for half of the shipping since they are going to resell the box I sent back as they mentioned! I will never buy from these folks ever again!!!! Buyer beware!!!!!!

A very easy web site to use. The above statement is still true. However, at check out, the total purchase appeared to be $15.__. When I pressed submit the total was $26.__. That was $5 more than the product. If I had purchased from a different supplier I would have saved over $5. I learned something, and am licking my wound.

My experience with this site/seller is the WORST compared to the hundreds of other internet transactions, with a hundred different companies, over the years. Avoid Ideal True Value. Oct. 19: I ordered and provided all the address, credit card info, and pmt made. Ideal emails me 'we will ship as soon as possible'...This is it/all!? Oct. 22: sent email asking about shipping date, tracking number, importance of this shipment. NO response. Also called...got a store...then got the correct number...left a message...no response. Oct. 26: sent another email asking again about shipping date, tracking number, 'pls cancel if you do not ship w/i 24 hours'. Oct. 27: email from Ideal True Value...'will ship tomorrow morning...with tracking number'. Oct. 28, Noon: still waiting...no shipping info. What a way to do business! The worst! I ordered two PBN from Paint Plot, Collecting Moons & Hummingbird. I purchased 'Collecting Moons' as my daughter loves moons. However, the actual PBN is not the same as the picture used to advertise it. It's way less detailed, and very simple. I could have worked with this, and included my own touch to make it look more detailed, however two of the main colours provided are exactly the same (#9 & #22). Making the 'sea' even more bland and boring. I asked support@paintplot to check their colours, maybe I got the wrong one. They insist I am wrong and that the colours are correct. One of their support people on messenger suggested something I might try to resurrect this boring PBN, which is to blend my own colour to ensure there is actually a difference between the two main dark sea colours. Don't buy this PBN, unless you want an expensive, simple, lifeless, experience of doing a PBN.

I emailed the vendor for their recommended safety beam sensor for my garage door opener. I provided the make and model, and they gave me the proper part number. I ordered the part, and it did not work. I returned it for a refund. They credited the purchase price, but not the shipping. Ordinarily this would be acceptable. But I discovered that they had sent the wrong parts. They sent the new-style sender with the old-style receiver. That won't work. I emailed them on Aug 30 with this information, asking for a refund of the shipping, since the error was theirs. I've had no reply. I've ordered the correct part from another vendor (Marwest Access Controls). They provided the proper, matching sender and receiver. It works properly.

I email them, no response. 3 more times, no response. Figured I was out 80 bucks BUT they did come in and the order was correct. 16 days total to come in. So, if you have a schedule order early and god help you if you have something wrong with what you receive because I am pretty sure you won't hear from them. Yes, they sell cheap contacts for Halloween without a prescription but customer service is non-existant.

I ordered lenses on 05/07 and today, 21/07 are still waiting! the money has been taken off my account and all attempts at contacting this company have been in vain. Emails have been returned, the telephone number does not receive incoming calls and a letter written was responded to by a call from the occupant at that address saying there is no Discount-lenses at that address. So...either a small company gone back or just ridiculously pathetic service...Steer clear would be my advice.

You wanted to know how to better serve your customers next time due to my order cancellation... I ordered a simple Chicago pneumatic die grinder from your online site on the 19th... Says nothing on your site about stock levels and such. Received an email shortly after paying with my debit card giving my order number and one would assume the order went through fine... I paid for the 3 day shipping and expected the grinder in the middle of the following week as I placed the order on a Friday night after hours. After 3-4 days passed with no other contact or form of movement on my order or tracking information whatsoever, I contacted some service rep by phone (a female I don't know her name) and she informed me that the grinder was not in stock and it would be coming from northern California from Bosch and since it wasn't much of a distance from your establishment it should be in by Wednesday and ship out to me from there... At this point I expected to receive the grinder late the same week or by this past Monday the 29th at the absolute latest... I am a relatively patient person and was trying to be understanding and reasonable in the shipping times, etc... I waited days more and when I heard absolutely nothing and saw no movement whatsoever in the tracking or information on your site I called again Monday the 29th... This time I spoke to a guy that seemed to be on the ball and he informed me that the previous lady didn't know what she was talking about regarding the tool coming from Bosch, as it isn't even a Bosch tool, but a Chicago pneumatic... I agreed and told him I didn't understand that myself but assumed she knew her business... He then rambled about your store just started carrying Chicago Pneumatic not long ago and it must not be entered right in the system yet and blah blah... He then told me that he would personally fax Chicago Pneumatic and get the tool drop shipped from them directly to my residence, hence saving the time of shipping to you and then on to me. I was grateful when it seemed things were handled and I expected to get the grinder later this week. Then today at work I got a voicemail message from the same guy telling me some bullshit about my card was declined and I would have to set up a paypal account and pay through that and to call him back... I called him back after work and was put on hold by some asshole that I could barely understand or even hear and sat on hold for almost 10 minutes. Some other guy then answered the line and began rambling almost incoherently about Carbide Blade sharpening and I had to interrupt him twice to try and tell him he was speaking to the wrong person and or line. He then placed me back on hold for a couple minutes until I hung up and called back and was again placed on hold, only for a couple minutes this time before a lady answered and told me my debit wouldn't run and wanted to know if it was the right address. I informed her that it was a good account, set up correctly, and that I utilize it to make in person purchases as well as online purchases and gas and grocery stores and food and on and on... I also prepared for the bullshit by personally checking on my account through my bank before I called after work and they verified everything is fine on my end. The money is there for the purchase and has been since I ordered on the 19th. She supposedly ran it again and mumbled something about paypal. I at this point gave up and washed my hands of your company and bullshit ordering practices. I then canceled the order with her and demanded a cancellation email notification to cover myself on this end. In researching your company record online before ordering, I found several instances and reviews of just this type of bullshit, even including a couple different people that actually had the payment taken from their accounts and then never even received the tool or product and then they had to fight to get resolution. I dismissed this as just an isolated incident and then it happened almost exactly the same to me. I have wasted over 11 days fucking around with this whole deal and now have to research another place to buy the grinder and have been borrowing another coworker's grinder at work for over a week. Your company had the best price I could find, I will freely admit that, and take some responsibility for trying to find a bargain, however, it does absolutely no good, if the product cannot be purchased and shipped out in a reasonable time and manner. I had told several coworkers about your site and they have been chomping at the bit so to speak to order their own, but have been waiting to see how this all turned out for me. Tomorrow morning, at work, I will be filling them all in on this experience and what a bunch of bullshit it turned out to be. You have lost my sale, and the potential to sell similar tools to a shop of over 700 people. I realize I have raved on, and normally wouldnt even bother,

Last winter I found out the thermostat on my furnace was faulty. Imagine your entire house is as hot as a sauna, but thermostat shows only 23 degrees Celsius. Thank God I called these guys, they were able to fix it, and the price I paid was reasonable.

From start to finish this companys employees were respectful, polite, punctual, competent and true to their word. (This is not usual when dealing with a lot of trades.) Peter completed my quote, involved me in the how's, why's and the solutions for clearing & fixing my sewer pipes. He checked every meter of the sewer sysytem with a camera and gave me good advice on a broken toilet we had. This was free of charge as it was a quote only. YES! The reling system they use is a little more expensive than the traditional digging up and searching for the impaired pipe section not to mention removing and replacing pavers, but it is clean, effective, no fuss. Adam & Luke arrived on the schedule day & got to work straight away. It took about 5 hours in total to complete the repairs ( including my dodgey toilet) Both plumbers were really decent guys and it was clear to me that they were very proud of the company they work for and the professionalism they showed demonstrated this. The Relining Company attended to our issue promptly and made the process so easy. Other quotes we’d received were way over priced, but The Relining Company were very cost effective and got the job done with no mess and no digging. I highly recommend them to get the job done!

Ordered two LG PTAC units with thermostats, wall sleeves & grills on 10-31-16. I didn't open the boxes until roughly two weeks after we received them. Upon opening the box there was hidden damage to the wall sleeves inside so I contacted eComfort expecting to have to pay for replacements, but to my surprise, they replaced them for me free of charge. I love doing business with companies who treat me as a customer the same way I treat the customers in my business. eComfort has definitely earned my loyalty! Yes, I know there are some really terrible online reviews for eComfort in the past, but based on my experience, they must have really, really cleaned up their act a lot since those were posted. My experience was definitely pleasant!!! I am ordering from them again today without a single hesitation. Vance
