I purchased a Mackenzie Child's whistling teakettle in late august from Williams Sonoma. About a week ago the whistle fell apart. When I was trying to put it back together I noticed the metal ring around the top is loose. Williams Sonoma will not refund or replace because it's beyond thirty days. Mackenzie Childs will not refund or replace because I purchased it at Williams Sonoma. This lousy teakettle cost approximately $150. For this kind of money, hey - for any kind of money - I expect a product intended for daily use to last longer than four months. I'm disgusted. Angry. Frustrated. And I'll never spend a penny at either store again.

I purchased my Vitamix from Costco a few months back and am totally pleased with my purchase. Overall the product is top notch - I had used them about 10 years ago when working for a coffee roaster and knew I would buy one eventually. Whether I'm making sorbet or a smoothie the machine is easy to use, clean and store. I keep mine out on the counter at all times so it's easy to drop stuff in and eat or drink something delicious. I've made soups and tested a lot of their recipes. If you want a blender that knocks all others out of the water buck up and pay for the good stuff! **I had a "Ninja" (it was a gift from someone that didn't want to buy a Vitamix) for about 30 days and cut my hands every time I washed that damn thing - it really was a ninja...(sliced me up). *I gave it back to the person that gave it to me letting them know while it was a great thought I just couldn't keep it and didn't want to donate it. I gave them a box of band-aids too!

There is no way I could so easily be an organic gmo free, vegan without my vitamix. I tell people if want to live a long and happy life, drink distilled water and consume green smoothies with your vitamix ! I love my VitaMix, very grateful !!

I love this shop, I always visit if I am in a town that has one, the staff are always brilliant, sadly the call centre and online ordering is poor. I brought the deluxe airer at £169, after 4/5 days of no delivery information I called them, was told the tracking number, they didn’t know why I had received it, tracking was poor and didn’t give me any confirmation. Then the next day I received delivery details. My order will be delivered between 10 and 12, I got this at 11am. The package arrived open and without instructions. Later the cover arrived. A few days later I received my points card. The next day I received another card for my address with someone else’s name on it. Just too much of a coincidence so I called them, I got a very snotty Lakeland rep who was rude and unhelpful. I’ll think twice before ordering online. It’s a shame as it’s changed my view of Lakeland.

This company has got to be the worst I’ve ever dealt with with a complaint. Two guys turned up to fit a dishwasher, damaged the kitchen, bodged install, I complained, they said they interviewed the guy and low and behold they said the didn’t do the damaged, so they are going to do nothing. The install was a joke, even when another engineer came out, he called his manager to say what a bad job It was. Diabolical, DON’T Deal with this company,! Hotpoint don’t even try and answer this online it’s been 4 weeks, I’ve taken it to the financial ombudsman.

I rang on the 15/07/19 and spoke to an employee and advised that I needed a new drum for my washing machine and advised him of the problem. I gave him the make and model of the machine and he did not ask for anything else. He then proceeded to try to sell me a number of different plans, I advised more than once I was very busy and told him that I just wanted to pay to get the machine fixed. He then became quite forceful in trying to sell me a plan I did not want. At this point I again told him I was busy and asked he he could please just book the job as I had already explained what I wanted. It was agreed I would pay £160 for which the engineer would come out and repair the machine, this was to cover parts and labour and the repair of the machine. He advised the engineer would come on the 17/07/19 between 12pm and 6pm and advised I would get an email with all of the details and a link in case there were any problems with the date. This email never arrived. Also when I rang the employee at first could not find my details of when I bought the machine. I then advised it may have been under my maiden name but I had since married. he then found the details but did not offer to update them with my new surname. The engineer came today 17/07/19, he advised he had not been told it was the drum and that he would have to order one which would take until Monday 22/07/19. He said they were not told anything and that they were just on a schedule. He did nothing to try to resolve the issue by getting the part sooner, and acted like he could not care less, He said the machine was over 6 years old and most people would have bought a new machine. If I had been told before paying £160 that there as a problem fixing the machine I would not have paid the money. I paid the money in good faith that I would have a working machine today. I will now have to take another day off work, when I don't work I don't get paid. I will also have to take the clothes that need washing to the launderette, which is now more cost

My only complaint is the order was not initially fulfilled properly and nobody would answer the phone - apparently they were moving their offices that day. But the phone message did not indicate that. So, I think the two reviews balance out. Like I said, great product.

My order was not properly fulfilled. The 'free' straws were not packed. I ordered two bowls and only received one. Nobody answers the phone or responds to emails. Too bad because I think the product is great. I was thinking this could be a great product for some friends ' store here in Colorado ski country. Just a total joke of an operation - in my opinion.

I ordered wardrobes to match existing that were in the house when I bought it. I asked if there was a plan to put them together and was advised they would come already constructed. They turned up just a load of pieces of wood with no instructions and many of items were not even pre drilled it took a skilled carpenter more than a day to put together (we had already put the main carcasses together) it was as if you had just given some wood to make a wardrobe out of. I was given part of someone else’s order instead of mine. So I had to wait for more drawer boxes. The pattern didn’t line up on the fronts so I had to again wait for more. I’m now on my third end panel. (Which is still damaged despite waiting a week for it). Third set of drawer boxes which have have again turned up damaged. I’ve had to wait in for deliveries that haven’t even been sent! Deliveries that have arrived incomplete and deliveries that have arrived damaged. I waited in 3 times for hanging rails which I have only just received. I’ve paid out for people to fit the end panel after being promised there were going to turn up before 10am to find out they had put it on a next day service that arrived at 2pm. I understand mistakes happen but when you are trying to rectify a mistake and promise a before 10am delivery - make sure you at least book it! I’ve wasted so much time (days) I’ve paid out 1 1/2 days in labour and not to mention all the time on the phone. I have a wardrobe still not finished and a full skip of damaged items. I’ve also had an additional skip worth of cardboard that I have had to pay to take away. I paid £1450 I was told they don’t normally compensate but they would offer me £50 due to the bundle of errors!!! I’ve now asked for the items just to be taken away and for a refund. I cannot wait in for any more deliveries and waste anymore time or money on this company. My advice would be to go elsewhere!

Bought 6 bedroom wardrobe doors and surrounds. One door was broken when opening packaging and I was told because I didn’t open it within 2 days and I would have to pay for a replacement. Was told the Consumer Act didn’t apply to me as the items are bespoke and I had no legal rights. WOW!

Dualit Architect Kettle Failure Spent a lot of money on the Architect Kettle to compliment our new kitchen. It lasted 3 years before element went and tripped our electrics. Thought when buying Dualit you were paying for quality, durability, and customer care should things go wrong. Dualit advised that this is not repairable and outside of 2 year warranty. They said I was unfortunate as this only happens to a few people. Well if it is a few people then they should help out to keep reputation. I went out and purchased a replacement model as we were desperate for a working kettle. Dualit later offered me a discount from their website which was no good as too late. No offer of compensation or goodwill gesture. Very disappointed with Dualit. Hope my toaster lasts a little longer !!

I recently purchased a Kitchen Aid Artisan toaster. I have had many toasters in my life which cost various prices, but NONE could compare to the Artisan. Most toasters give uneven results, i.e one side darker than the other, but the Artisan gives perfect toast every time. So far, I have not tried the toasted sandwich facility, but have no doubt that the result will be excellent.

After a long research online and very good feedbacks I decide to purchase CUISINART COOKFRESH PROFESSIONAL GLASS STEAMER. I tried to use it and found out that there are no preset functions: poultry, vegetables, seafood etc. so wildly advertised on every video online and every review of this product as well as on images on the packaging. There is just a timer and two functions: steam and keep warm. That’s all. How this is possible? I feel cheated and tricked. I have returned it. Initially I have been refunded £50 instead of £175. After nearly a month of struggle with Cuicinart North America, France and UK I finally got full refund. Never again. Terrible experience. Customer Service is very poor. It is almost impossible to get in touch.

I had a Kitchen Designer come in to give an estimate. The running feet would be about 30 feet. I got estimates between $8000 to $9000 from other stores. The same for Kitchen magic was $31,000. This store/service needs to be in Hollywood not in Pa. Cant believe they are still in business for 20 + years with these costs.

Really like the PodStar. It has a much better design than the pods Amazon is selling for Verismo / KFee machines. I also really was pleasantly surprised to get a sample of stone ground coffee with the pods. This was GREAT because I was able to quickly identify the proper setting on my ceramic burr grinder. Now I am getting a proper balanced pour with excellent flavor. If you live in the U.S., it will take a few weeks to arrive so plan for that. Our USPS service has really slowed down in the last year or so so the delivery is not likely to be a swift one. This is not under control of PodStar so I gave them the full 5 stars as I am really happy to be able to stop tossing pods and I can get better bean blends now, Fantastic!

I hesitated to shift to reusable pods. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how easy (and satisfying) I’m finding using podstar pods and I actually prefer the taste. Feels so good not to be adding to landfill. I ended up buying a ten pack so we can keep a ready filled supply at hand, although I also found it simple enough to fill a pod when desired. I plan to keep buying podstar coffee as I like the taste - depending on shipping costs.

We visited the Ayr Showroom in August and it was a great experience. We were shown different styles and designs and were made to feel that our kitchen really mattered and they wanted to get it right, we had visited other high street kitchen showrooms and been disappointed with the experience as it felt like the sake was all that mattered and this was the design so take it or leave it, She made recommendations regarding colors and styles to fit our likes and request, Over all we are incredibly happy and would recommend to friends and family

The showroom is one of a kind, the displays are part of fully built houses so you really get a sense of how your kitchen would look and feel. The design team are also really helpful and full of knowledge, we felt at ease throughout the whole process. Both lads who came to measure and fit were a pleasure to deal with and kept us informed re. arrival time etc. The utility surface has been templated and fitted faultlessly. The kitchen splashback behind cooker would have been better if fitted right to edge of wall cupboards instead of gap either side, this was perhaps an oversight on templating as space between wall cupboards on either side of cooker is wider than cooker itself. The upstand has a 7mm gap from wall at one end of u-shape, splitting the silicone and pulling the base cabinet away from the wall. The silicone here is much wider than the opposite side of the kitchen. The joins are indeed seamless, as your name suggests and overall the surface gives a good finish.

Their website is informative, I love the wide selection they have in all their categories, their service and delivery is SUPER EFFICIENT and I love they way they package and wrap the goods - especially the glass items that can easily be damaged while being couriered. I also love the personal touch they add to their delivery - its tiny , but its the small things that count. A little fridge magnet and a beautiful thank you card

Startet med å kjøpe et knivsett på 6 kniver til en matfagelev som ønsket egne kniver å ha kontroll på istedenfor å komme til "sløvskapen" etter andre. Foruten at knivende er helt utmerket gjør de skolehverdagen og læringen til en lek. Bestilling og betaling (benytter PayPal) går som en lek og porto er bare en formalitet. Er så fornøyd med kokkekniven.no at vi har gått inn på en ny bestilling av utbeiningskniv og kjøttøks.

Opplever kokkekniven som et oversiktlig og ryddig nettsted. Har kjøpt kniv jeg er godt fornøyd med. Har kjøpt knivsliper som kan bli bedre har også fått en supplerende knivslipersom skulle gjøre sliping bedre. Tok deler fra den nye på den første og tilsaman greit nok. Men sørvis og hjelp er flott vilje til å hjelpe kunde flott. Forstår at å finne godt produkt som fyller alles ønske ikke er lett. Allikevel produkt anvendelighet og pris passer godt i hop. Lett å forstå at det er Vanskelig å få BMW til lada pris lett. Har sett på you tube en russisk knivsliper som ser ut for å være solid enkel og lett å bruke. En ulempe er hvor kan den kjøpes og hvor mye koster den. Anbefaler dette nettstedet kokkekniven.no til andre som er kniv interesserte. Fint at det er variasjon med kvalitetskniver som koster endel men at det også finnes rimelige alternativer. Fint om det er en grei beskrivelse av hvilke bruksområde den enkelte kniv best gjør nytte for seg

Magic service. I range in about my faulty glass washer at 9.30 and, by 11, the engineer was with me. We agreed I needed a new machine, it was ordered immediately, delivered the next morning and installed that afternoon. Brilliant!

Nick did everything he could to get the dishwasher working. He came in as soon as possible and then came in to try new parts including on a Saturday. When it proved impossible to repair the machine he got a replacement machine and kept checking when he could schedule in to fit it until we had the authority to go ahead with the purchase

Only gave 1 star as unable to give NONE. Appalling customer service. How can you trust a company who are happy to sever ties an item on their website that they"no longer stock" confirm your order of this by email, take your money via PayPal and then send you a completely different item, all without letting you know. And continue to post it on website for several days after. No cooperation at all with regards to collection of wrong goods/refund.

These people have no idea what Customer Service actually entails. All I wanted was a simple nut and bolt, missing from one of their products, all I received was grief. I will now avoid at all costs and recommend my friends also avoid them.

Bad. So bad. I attempted to order a stand mixer - placed the order, received the confirmation, saw the pending charge on my credit card, and then received an email that my order had been cancelled. I called to figure out the problem and they said it was because my billing and shipping addresses were different. I replaced the order over the phone, but never received a confirmation. The original charge was still pending on my credit card but the new purchase never showed up. I contacted KitchenAid and their representative said that the order had been cancelled because my billing and shipping addresses were different. I explained that this had happened before, and that I placed the order over the phone to make sure it didn't happen again and they said they didn't know what was wrong but their system didn't accept the order. I placed it AGAIN. The old charge was removed from my credit card, the new charge showed up as pending. I never received a confirmation of the order. A week later, after following up via email twice without response, the order showed up at my BILLING ADDRESS which I actively avoid shipping to because packages often get stolen. Luckily this was not stolen but I will never order from KitchenAid again.

I have used these mixers for 30 years. I passed on my trusty Epicurean bowl lift mixer that had seen 20 plus years of major breadmaking. I wanted a bigger bowl. Got new mixer. The finish marred/scratched easily. The bowl vibrated when mixing. Long story short, Kitchenaid did send replacement BUT it was missing a beater. I put these mixers side by side and ran them. Replacement mixer had speed control issue too. Finally! I switched bowls and this fixed the vibrating bowl. Then I had to pack up second mixer and ship back. What a hassle!!! Kitchenaid WAS a reliable company. No more. And they've cheaped out on quality. Whirlpool is Kitchenaid. Spend money elsewhere.
