I paid Broadview Fencing's quote in full and upfront (as I required a new fence rather urgently) and was "promised" installation within a week (in writing by the so called "Project Manager"). A month later and after numerous unreturned phone calls, SMS's and emails still no fence! Complete lack of professionalism by Broadview Fencing and they do not know the meaning of customer service! Do yourself a favour and do not use Broadview Fencing!

Be careful about writing a bad review the Manager/Owner will send you abusing and threatening messages. We had an a terrible experience wih this business and were treated extremely badly by the now Manager, an experience I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through.

If I could give a lower score than 1 star, it would definitely be justified. What an absolutely farcical organisation. From not answering or returning phone calls, to the constant postponement of services, I honestly am astonished how this company is still in business. Do yourself a favour and do not use these guys as they are useless... not the gardeners, the business itself. The first time they are so obliging and willing to get your business, but then.... its hell. Every time I am required a mow out come the excuses.... rain, covid, no staff, too hot, too cold.... just atrocious. As an example just in the last week I have been re-scheduled over 5 times and still no cut lawn... The person I have been dealing with will not answer the phone and when they call back after 10 messages left on their answering service, they don't give a stuff... She advised she will call back, but did it happen... of course NOT.... Don't be silly.... Do yourself a favour and pay an extra $10 and get professional service elsewhere. You will regret you ever contacted this mob....

Mow Now quote an hourly rate so the gardener has no incentive to actually finish the job you discuss. They showed up eventually in the late afternoon - I had been waiting all day with no communication, despite calling and emailing Mow Now since 9am. The gardener Adam & partner did an hour’s work, although told us they did two hours (which equals four hours total, two staff times two hours), mowing one strip around the border of the yard and doing some light whipper snipping at the front of the property. Cuttings and grass left everywhere for us to clean up. This gardening work was to such a low standard, which surprised me as Mow Now told me Adam was one of their most experienced gardeners. My husband had previously completed the entire works in 3.5 hours so I have no idea how Adam and partner claim to have worked for 4 hours and only did about a third of what he did. They then told us that several more hours of work was required to finish off - quite clearly this is a scam. I had booked this service to save my husband having to work on his weekend and give him more time at home with our kids. However we had to go over and finish the job ourselves, as well as clean up all the mess left behind by Mow Now. I will be telling anyone who asks to steer very clear of these guys.

Shopping around I finally met Vin at Western Turf, who identified my requirements and budget and delivered with a 5 star service. Turf cut “ previous evening” was at least several days cut, mismatched off cuts with no soil on back of turf, dried out with little to no moisture present. Complaints unanswered which clearly shows the lack of professionalism of this clearly cowboy outfit, wouldn’t be surprised if turf comes with optional “this way up stickers” as it’s clearly hard to tell with such poor quality product. Save your money and buy from a real supplier.

The lawncare is ok, but the invoicing are very shady and dishonest. I was with GT for 2 1/2 years on direct debit until I cancelled. Three months after the cancellation I got calls informing I owed £56, even though all payments from the direct debt had been taken. Then I spent about 1hr on the phone with the rudest person I can think of, who kept interrupting me, could not explain why it took so long to contact me, nor why the costs were not covered by the direct debit, nor what guarantees I had that this was a legit cost. There was some woolly explanation around treatments dates moving back and forth in time for 3 months and never aligning to the invoicing (sounded like someone was making up as he went along), which just sounded weird, unbelievable and just sad. Said gentlemen refused to provide a letter from his accountant (as it would cost money), quoted the T&Cs half a dozen times and then threatened to take me to court, explaining how efficient his business was at suing customers (I can believe that part). After wasting my time and patience with some more confusing maths from this gentlemen, I decided I would rather chew pebbles than continue to listen to him. In fact, listening to him made me feel inclined to walk in all fours, the math and the narrative just could not match and became embarrassing at some point... Paying £56 to get rid of him sounded like a good idea, although I have the impression he will call again in 3 months time asking for more money with some more confusing maths and dubious narratives... Honestly, heard better excuses from children, and at least they can be polite.

My wife and I could not be happier that we bought our outdoor teak table and chairs from Larry at Atlanta Teak Furniture. We went in the store a little over a year ago when we first moved into our house in Brookhaven, but decided to wait a year before we completed work on the backyard. We went back to Larry now that our yard was completed and found the most challenging part of our experiencing was picking just one table. Larry has fantastic quality tables and is a great guy to work with. He’s straight forward and knows literally everything about Teak tables. He let us spend nearly an hour in his store considering what we wanted to choose and answered all of our questions. Given this was in the time of COVID, he was also very respectful of keeping socially distant (easy to do in his store) and wearing a mask, and he only sees clients by appointment one at a time now. He was kind enough to literally bring it to our backyard himself since it was clearly going to be a struggle getting the box to fit in our car. We really enjoyed getting our table from Larry and we’ll absolutely be back next year when we buy some more teak furniture to go with our table/chairs!

Purchased Napoleon prestige pro 500 BBQ from them because they shared the best price with a couple of other places online in southern Ontario. My biggest reason was free shipping and what I wanted showed in stock and they claimed to ship quickly. The BBQ shipped 18 days after my order arriving 24 days after the order was placed and the free cover took 5 weeks to receive. BBQ electrical harness faulty told by Napoleon not to use until I received and replaced it this took another month. BBQ now on sale for less and could have purchased locally assembled ready to go they would have even thrown in $ 150 in accessories. Should have bought from our local store.

The awning was made and delivered in a very timely manner.It was not an easy install for myself due to the fact that I had 2 different roof pitches I had to deal with but the hardware that came with the awning made the install less difficult.If you are somewhat handy and can find at least 2 other helpers to lift the awning into the brackets, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that this is really a DIY project.

It is a very stressful situation to give your order because you are afraid if you make one tiny wrong measurement the new awning won't fit when it arrives and you have already spent $500. So videos SHOWING how to measure the awning (vs just telling us in words) would reduce our stress level greatly. SHOW don't TELL is always a stress reducer! Second you SHOULD have videos on how to install awnings. Or at least links to youtube videos that show this for different manufactures (with disclaimers) but you would have to monitor links weekly or so to make sure none get broken. The quality of awning was great and arrived on time and was packaged perfectly. I am very impressed with the whole operation (except above) and had no trouble installing the awning BUT I had to do tons of research on line to find our how to install before I could buy from DIY. So got discouraged and tried to hire it done but no one in my area actually would come do it so I went with DIY. So people at DIY you need to lower the anxiety of a purchaser so they will order from you instead of giving up and getting someone to do it. Actually when installing it we ran into a hitch. The back roller was installed in such a way at my house that the cord would not slip in--you couldn't get to ends because of obstructions (unless you wanted to disassemble it and take it down). The existing one had been done with Velcro on tube and on fabric. We reproduced this method (they now make a very good Velcro that sticks to the fabric--don't have to sew it on like the one I took off did), which worked great. However the joke here is it took 3 PhD Engineering professors 3 hours to do it--perhaps beer prolonged!

James, Joe, and Rachael were the installers of my awning. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, workmanship, and just their general demeanor from the start of the installation to the finish. Whenever there was a decision to be made, they always asked how I wanted it done, rather than just doing it without my input. Before they turned on their radio, they asked if it would bother me if they played some music. The music was never blaring. Before they left, James familiarized me with all of the workings of the awning and made sure I knew how to operate it. The three installers worked extremely well as a team. There was no arguing or inappropriate language being used. Once finished, they cleaned up everything and I didn't have to police the area for left over debris.

Our first meeting was March 17th the day of the COVID19 lock down. Our shade was delayed because of the factory shut down however Peterson Canvas kept us informed, as soon as the factory reopened they let us know. Even though we had the delay we love the Eclipse Shade it was well worth the wait. Thanks to all involved along the way.

I have used first fence twice now and both times with problems the first time was the damaged product which was caused buy bad handling with the product sliding around in the back of a flat bed lorry this took two more attempts to get a undamaged product the second purchase there was a problem with the delivery I was away when delivered I got a text and explained the yard they trying to deliver to shut at three o'clock I then got a email saying delivery had been made when I got back went to pick up fence but it had not been delivered at all I rang first fence and to be fair the lady found out where the delivery had gone wrong and sorted it out but this still ment idid not have the fence the day I needed it but the product was fine.

Completely useless service and rude customer service. Only ordered because I was told I’d receive a specific delivery date due to the large order I was placing and delivery would be direct by this company, only to receive an email stating completely different and no delivered date. Called to resolve and the lady was rude, talked over me constantly shouting down the phone. No effort to resolve anything just kept repeating the same “can’t do anyhting etc etc” just disgusting, when I requested a refund I was then told it a story of how long it would take to refund the funds waiting for the courier etc etc, just nonsense, awful company,

Monday morning 20th January dawned bright, sunny and frosty, it was just after 8:00 am when 3 cheerful faces appeared, on the due date, and announced that they had come to replace my existing but aged timber decking. After a brief discussion about their proposed programme, a look at the task in hand and a warming cup of coffee, they set to work with, what I can only describe as a giant tooth extractor and soon had some of the existing boards up. The boards were efficiently transported through the conservatory and stacked at the side of the house for disposal. By mid afternoon the boards were all removed and the sub structure inspected for reuse, it was found to be in good order. I was informed that the new composite boards were due for delivery the next morning so the team would do a small adjustment on another job but expected to be with me late morning. Men and boards duly arrived the next day and work commenced on laying them in position. I was informed that they would be back the next morning. Wednesday dawned and two of the “lads” arrived on time and continued laying the new boards, there was a visit from “the management” to check on progress, which was going well, and the job was finished by late afternoon, a quick hose down and tidy up and they crept away as if nothing had occurred. The garden was transformed by the upgrade, HHI were on time and kept to their programme and, very importantly I was kept fully informed. The staff were polite, obliging and cheerful and went out of their way to ensure that we were happy with their work, management also made a second visit to ensure that the work was satisfactory. We are “over the moon” with the result. Three day that transformed a garden. Well done HHI ( by the way- every bit as handsome as the radio ad what). We wish you every success in the future.

The website stated that delivery would be 1 to 2 days, the item actually took 8 days to arrive. In fairness the website has now been updated to show dispatch will be 4 days but it is worth noting the courier they use takes 4 days.

I have used MGM for the maintenance of my lawnmower, strimmer/brush cutter and hedge trimmer over a number of years during which time they have unfailingly, provided a friendly and efficient service, including several trade-ins. They also recently took care of a warranty claim quietly and efficiently and without my having to ask.

Ordered replacement cushions for teak loungers purchased 10 years ago. The original ones were a generic canvas khaki which have been in the sun and salt air and started to rip. I was pleasantly surprised by the other options offered for the same price as the plain khaki. I am extremely pleased with the tan textured stripe cushions which are really great quality. I also appreciated their willingness to honor a discount which wasn't available at the time I ordered. Great customer service!

Had to order a gas line hose after using the grill about 10 times. Customer service said it would take three weeks to send out a new hose. Unacceptable after one season of use. Can not tell you how disappointed I am in the Weber corporation. Spoke to a supervisor (Drew Jacobs) and this seems to be business as usual.

I love the vinyl hedge that I bought for my huge equine farm!! I searched for vinyl fencing prior to choosing it. I have set up a long fence line. However, I was able to fence up the farm strongly. The result that this PVC horse fencing showed was quite better than what I expected. Those, who have horse in their farmhouses, can better choose this fencing for their purpose.

I received the portable balloon lights with stand from LightTowerPro a while ago. The mobile stand is sturdy and smooth to push. The balloon lights are very bright - it is able to light up the entire ball field. Originally it is designed for construction site, but I applied it in sports field. I purchased 3 mobile light tower from this site last month. They work really well. The best part is that they use LED on the towers instead of metal halide or halogen. LEDs are so bright and white. The lights are dimmable, so I can control the ground lux level. In addition, I can push the mobile tower with ease. The overall price is also affordable. I can now play football with the bright portable lighting at night. The only limitation is that the generator is using diesel, which is less eco-friendly. I hope that they can have gasoline model soon.

I ordered pool fencing from Oxworks and being a one man band started constructing the fence a couple of months later only to find the polaris soft close hinges I ordered were not included. Made contact with Oxworks only to be told it is two months ago you ordered the products so there is nothing we can do. What does it matter that it was 2 months ago, if the order is not complete the order is not complete. Terrible customer service, will never use Oxworks again.
