After accepting their quote in mid August and being told they would start the job in 2 weeks and that it wouldn't take more than a week it took 3 months! We already had to have them come out and redo a gate latch that fell off 2 days after install. They blame everyone other than themselves for their bad management and you will get a different excuse every time.... from the weather ( one rainy day caused a 2 week delay) , their contractors (they use various fencing contractors to do all the actual work), their suppliers ( but they don't even order the supplies until you have paid for them in full, at one point they had 75% of the cost of the job up front and had only put a few posts in). If you want a good job done on schedule go elsewhere. Once you agree to their terms you are totally forgotten while they suck up to the next victim. Poor form.

After requesting someone come out to fix the latch on driveway gate, no one came, gate got broken in storm. They came to take a look, said they would get back to us. Surprise, still waiting. Once you have paid your money they don't want to help you. I would not recommend them.

The boss came out and was rude and argumentative and told me he wanted nothing to do with the job anymore. Apologized at the end but damage was done. Sub contractor came to rectify the fence but fence still sub-standard. I think I will get somebody else to rectify now and take that out of what I owe them I have no problem paying good money for a good job. I didn't get a good job and would never use them again. Run.... run away from these people.

Requested a quote for boundary fences, didn't hear from them until 3 months later. When I told them the fence has been done by a different company, they literally replied:" why ask me to send quote then, a complete waste of time". However, looking at other reviews, I feel I'm not alone.

I had a fence done by the QPR boys a few weeks ago. They were brothers(?) I think. They were prompt in their quote and very reasonably priced. For such a short time in the industry the quality of the job was exceptional, considering how low the price of the quote was. Well presented, incredibly polite and respectful young men, can tell they have been raised to have a strong work ethic and take great pride in their work. Would recommend to others, very very happy with the job I received, and the next time I need a fence done I will be calling you boys again!

We rang both numbers on the webpage, left messages, but have never heard from anyone in 3 weeks - Matt and Andrew we believe were the names from the 2 different phone numbers. Also sent a contact form on their website but surprise surprise no response in inbox or spam over the last 3 weeks. Thanks guys for wasting our time when we needed an urgent quote for fencing, if you were too busy the least you could do is call us back/email to let us know. Recommend people go elsewhere as customer service is obviously lacking and that's generally a fair indicator of the type of work you'll get!

I arrange for a quote in Nov and they told me a fence installer would come over a week ago. I am still chasing someone to finish the job. I am disgusted with having to follow up with them daily to get another instal date and then was again given the blow off from them. Overpriced and horrible company to work with.

I was very impressed wit Sheds-n-Homes staff from the first contact until completion of the job. Their professional approach made me feel comfortable and nothing was a bother in their service. The kit was delivered on schedule and the instructions we adequate for someone with some knowledge of the building trade. Te tradesmen used were excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this company. I selected Sheds-Homes initially because they use Australian steel and I wanted to support Australian industry.

If you or anyone you know of have had any structure requiring a building permit built by this company between 2008 and November 2019 then check your building permit papers are all in order with your local council because their building surveyor called online permit solutions building surveyors number BS_U1588 has been suspended by the Victorian building authority for 3 years from 20th February 2020 for dodgy work you can check this for your self on the Victorian building authority web page go to the sanctions section and type in the surveyors number BS_U1588. I found out in 2019 for a structure that was built in 2010 that my building permit papers where incomplete I had to demolish my structure the verandah builder and the building surveyor didn't care not our problem they said shame shame shame on all of them.

I have recently had a concrete pool installed by AOL and cannot recommend them highly enough. Stephen's time and attention to detail in the initial design consults ensured.i was getting exactly what i wanted, Ollie the site supervisor was amazing. His communication throughout the process was incredible and his attention to my job gave me peace of mind and confidence in the process. The trades were respectful and timely, and then to Dan at the final pool handover who went through things patiently with me....the experience was smooth and professional and I am so happy with the result and cannot wait for summer!!!

Stylemaster penrith is by far the worst supposedly trades people I've dealt with- quote was fine from that point on down hill - paid a 60% deposit to wait nearly two months to be told materials hadn't even been ordered and I was " impatient" - after department of fair trading got involved they did the job only to have left wires unwired on roof and ripples along my colour bond roofing to my house ! Worst worst worst experience I've ever had do not recommend them at all !

Aaron and Kaleb erected our African Hut 5 years ago, It started to leak immediately which they repaired, then, after 2 years, it was leaking and they asked US to pay for repair...NOW despite their claim [29/6/18 on their website], "Cape Reed is naturally rot and mildew resistant", ALL the thatch is now DISINTEGRATING, MILDEWED totally rotten with large holes and my hut is no longer waterproof or usable for the purpose it was built. We were led to believe that these huts were 100% waterproof, again I spoke with Kaleb around April 2018 who continues to state that the African Huts last 12 - 16 years. We went to Tribunal today and were told that Aarons Outdoor Living is in Administration and although we have a very good claim against them, the Tribunal is very sorry they are NOT able to assist us. We enquired about having it re-thatched by another supplier, but most refused because they said the pitch of the roof (30 degrees) is too shallow. They reckon that reed thatching needs a minimum of a 35 degree pitch. As for Aarons, do not do waste your hard earned money, RUN RUN RUN....

We drove an hour to look at cubbies for our girls 2 days ago, website stating they were open, to find pretty much an empty car park/ display area and office closed up. Rang while we were there and have tried ringing several times since with it always going to message bank. If they are shut down so be it but change your Facebook page and website. Very unhappy.

For 13 years I put up with an old carport roof that leaked. The whole purpose of getting a new carport was to have a new roof and be free of leaks when it rains. Do you do gable roofs I asked the salesman. We can do anything he said. He omitted to inform that Lifestyle Patio gable roofs LEAK right along the centre beam, ridge cap, so right in the middle of the carport space. What they omitted to inform was that the product they use AUSDECK cannot seal along the ridge/does not have a ridge cap like every other tin roof you can install like Colourbond for instance. Instead they just put a metal flap along the ridge and fail to provide that highly relevant information about not having a proper ridge cap. Not only that, the other thing they fail to verbally notify you of at point of sale so as to insure your fully informed, is that you have to clean the underside of the roof 'at least' every 6 months. Otherwise the cheap and flimsy AUSDECK material gets dirty rusts spots and you'll have a rusty and rotting roof within a couple of years. I have a bad shoulder and scared of heights could never attend to such a mammoth and risky physical cleaning task. The entire experience for me has been nothing less than an expensive nightmare. Had they told me about the leaking roof I would never have gone ahead with Lifestyle Patios because the main reason for me getting a new roof was to enjoy being dry when standing under my carport roof. Instead now when it rains it is actually WORSE than the leaking from my old carport roof. It is disgusting that they don't tell people the truth. When I told their build manager about what they have done he said that maybe they should start telling people what to expect. Also, after admitting liability they then offered to charge me nearly $1000 to install a wider ridge cap!!! I would NEVER use AUSDECK or LIFE STYLE again nor would I ever recommend either to anyone. Run for the Hills and get yourself a real roof - one that doesn't leak and that you don't have to waste you precious time and energy in cleaning.

Recently had a patio installed by Apollo, such a great experience, from Murray giving me the quote, he is very knowledgeable and easy to discuss different scenarios with. The office staff, Amanda, are very friendly and helpful, to the men who installed the patio, they all did an excellent job. I am so happy with the end result, it has given my house an extended area to live in which is light and airy. I highly recommend Apollo Patios, for their professionalism and wonderful service. Will definitely be using their service again.

Wow how lucky are we to have stumbled across Builder Direct on the Internet. We could not be any happier with our lovely Flyover patio. From the moment I met Andrew onsite I knew that we would be choosing Builder Direct. ( we did get 3 quotes) Andrew went above and beyond to ensure the initial process ran smoothly. I immediately warmed to the fact that the business was ran entirely by Andrew and Paul. Onsite Paul's attention to detail and ensuring everything is 100% is very professional. Our half round gutters match with our existing roof of which Paul went out of his way to source. Within one day of completion we had already had an inquiry from a neighbor. The pergola and decking went up in good time about three weeks, finished mid April 2017 as promised but only after we had to call them to find out what the delay was as we agreed on the quote in early January. They blamed the council for the delay but the fault was theirs in taking a month to send the plans to council. We had a few issues during the build but nothing major, builder was a smoker and left his cigarette butts lying around and a few uneven deck boards were all rectified before completion. Then a fortnight ago after a heavy downpour of rain some leaks appeared and after speaking to two people on the phone directly and leaving a message on their answering machine we are still waiting. I would never recommend them or use them again and I suggest people stay clear.

have to say; the truck and crane driver delivered our timber and has to be the politest guy in Adelaide. Wonderful and professional service. Another bloke turns up from a different firm and drops stuff on the lawn, not asking and thus annoying my wife as she was trying to resuscitate the lawn. No clue about customer service, as he then ignored her. Well done Softwoods

Well the people at fence scape were nice enough but the man doing our fencing seemed like he didn't know much about what he was doing... He put on a light duty latch which broke as the gate is quite heavy so he replaced it with one that split the wood and fell off the first day we ended up getting someone else from fencescape to come fix it and some other dodgy work as the first guy must have rushed it towards the end They came and fixed most of the problems Very expensive and a few mistakes

Ordered a Christmas Tree on their online shop, late Wednesday night on the 11th of December. Arrived Friday the 13th at 3.30pm, via Fastway couriers, delivery was free to Dublin. You can view the tree you want from the photos on their site. The Tree is exactly what I ordered. Really good quality. Really great shape, smells amazing too. Can't be beaten on price either. Can't recommend these guys enough. Will definitely use again next time. Thanks 5 Stars across the Board. ????????????????????

Ordered over £300 of edging on the 26th April 2020. As of 16th May 2020 I am still awaiting delivery and have received no update since the day the order was made. An e-mail was sent on the 12th May 2020 to request confirmation that the order had been dispatched and an estimated delivery date. As of 16th May 2020 I have received no reply. Unacceptable lack of communication, irrespective of the current pandemic. Following the issues raised above I have been contacted personally by their MD. He was polite, apologetic and has assured me that the order delivery has been expedited. I am satisified that the oversight was simply due to overwhelming current demand, in what are unprecedented circumstances. On this basis I am now happy to recommend them.

AVOID this company! Even when the PDF parts list they provide is incorrect, they will not help. No phone contact possible and emails are short and unhelpful. For a part where it was their mistake, I had to pay postage to recieve the wrong item and pay postage to return the wrong item. Avoid this company like the plague. Customer service is non existent.. We purchased Cedar driveway gates from them. OK when we received them my husband and son in law hung them. No damage was done whilst being installed. Next day there was a large split in the grain of one panel. Contacted the company and we were told they would send a repair kit, A REPAIR KIT for gates we paid £1500 for. I asked to speak to a manager and was told by the girl that she was the best I was going to get. I contacted a director of the company via facebook and he apologised for the way we had been treated by customer service and said he would arrange to have the gates picked up and repaired at no cost to us.He has told us today that he has changed his mind and will not be doing anything of the kind as we had posted negative reviews about the company. I fitted my gates just over 2 years ago. They cost over £800 after a few months they started to rust the powder coating began to flake off I would not recommend this company. Poor quality and expensive.

I am very impressed with Joe's lawn care.Within 6 months there has been a big improvement in the condition of both my lawns. More important in my opinion is th service. The emails advising when they are coming, the fact that it is within a 2 hour slot., they come when they say they are coming! Since I work shifts this is important to me as I hate going out & leaving my back gate unlocked all day. Plus the price is right! I had a previous lawn service but stopped it because they were too expensive & It was a case of they advised of day they were coming but no times.Im would recommend Joe's to nyone who wants a nice lawn at a reasonable price.

Bought a double umbrella for my patio and upon installation I realized that product was defective as something was wrong with base causing it to be lopsided. Been emailing company for a few weeks since there is no way to call them. They will not assist and insist that I have to assemble the umbrella all over again which is not easy due to size in order to get a refund. Worst company to do business. We love our 14' Vinyl Gazebo with composite flooring from Amish Country Gazebos. The ordering was easy. The sales respresentative was very friendly and helpful! She even went out to take a measurement for me that I wanted. The support line was very helpful when one of the facia boards broke during installation. They sent a new one our right away. We also ordered two heaters and a ceiling fan. The heaters were smaller than we expected and do not put out much heat. The fan is small and does not move the air much at all unless you are standing right under it. The fan does look pretty though. I would consider buying those elsewhere if I were ordering again to make sure I got what I wanted. Other than that everything is perfect and it looks beautiful in our yard!!! Thank you Amish Country Gazebos!

Having finally said goodbye to our open fire, for a wonderful multifuel burner, we needed a place to store logs. Searching online brought us to Arbor Garden Solutions. The key factors which we liked: * Sensible prices * Good looking storage units * Detailed descriptions * A good choice, including different widths & colour finishes We were very pleased when the log store arrived. The finish looked good & the accessories were handed to us, in a small bag. The one thing we did find lacking, however, were simple instructions/guidelines. ie order to put items in, for construction. Between the 2 of us, we erected a very smart log store, which will definitely house the logs & keep them dry until they are needed. We are very pleased with our purchase, the efficient service provided by Arbor Garden Solutions & the quality of their product. Should we ever need to return, we shall be more than happy to use this company again.

Ordered a workbench which arrived within 7 days. The courier text me with a 90 minute delivery window and was bang on time. There was no packaging at all, which is great for the environment and the delivery driver was extremely friendly and polite. Even the assembly instructions were emailed to me the day before delivery, so no paper to have to bother with. Very easy to assemble; took me about 30 minutes. Will definitely be buying from them again!

We purchased grass in June and After the grass was laid the back 1/4 of the yard was damaged( looked totally smashed down and a different color) . The company told us the grass would eventually perk up as that was not unusual. They came back out a couple of times and tried resanding it and raking it to no avail. We asked from the get go to have it replaced but they told us it would spring back. After 3 months of arguing they contacted the warranty company and finally replaced the entire yard of grass. We were very happy to have our problems solved. I would not buy artificial grass again as it is too hot for people and dogs to walk on in the summertime ????

Grass only lasted three years because of untreated batch that went to several of their customers. The manufacturer replaced the grass but it was an inferior product. Artificial Grass wanted to charge more for labor than the original installation. I did it myself in the end with less patching than the original install.

Purchased an Azuma Venice Garden Bistro Set Rocker Chairs Table Grey Metal £299. Was initially told 6 weeks delivery. There was no communication unless i chased the order up. Delivery deadlines were missed twice and i had to chase up their customer services for updates. The product i ordered is not what expected the cushions are really thin and inadequate and the frames were welded with one of the welds being incomplete and a hole was present. Very very disappointed and would not buy from them again... avoid!!!

Please use another company! Do not buy from here please. Me and my husband ordered the Tianna shed (spent over 1.5k approx.) given multiple delivery dates which are then cancelled and re scheduled, when you are expecting a 14ft shed its not something we can just leave outside while we are at work so days off have been booked and wasted. 10 weeks since ordered. Expecting the generic response to this, as all the negative ratings have. Just be aware if you order, there is no customer service and everything is handled by external companies so if there is a problem don't expect a resolution. Here's hoping when we actually do get our product (which is still online offering 10 working day delivery...) it will be of good quality... Anyway will update if we get anything positive from BillyOh UPDATE - Try to question the service on FB - get deleted

I was annoyed to find the 'free delivery' did not apply to our postcode, guess living over the bridge in Wales is just too far but on phoning to enquire, given that 2 miles up the road would of been free delivery they still would not budge. £50 is a lot for that 2 miles. That said after a couple of hours and a few swear words we had the BBQ put together and have to say its the best yet, absolutely over the moon with our mini cook station that has everything and the kitchen sink!! Have used it nearly every day since, just hope its a hot summer and we can live outdoors

I bought a petrol mower from this website, mower came with speedy delivery however instructions were so bad and I believe a bit of plastic is broken on one part of the mower and a cable was not fitted with no instructions of where to put it, e-mailed to explain took days to get back to me I answered thier questions but still got none of mine answered and waited another 4 days for a responce but they had clearly not read my email and once again did not answer where to put the cable, i rang and e-mailed again was told mower should not of come to me like that but no real help with resolving issue they did send a couple of photos to show how it should be, I still believe plastic on cable is snapped so hindered me in achieving the photo they sent, I spent ages figuring the issue that they themselves said should not have been part of the build process. Instructions very poor, now set up the mower seems perfectly fine and cuts nicely, I sent a photo to confirm id set it up propely before adding petrol and before I started it up but still no responce over a week on. Customer service crap basically.

Poor customer service spent over £3000 this year which I did just before lock down. I needed an extra 8 board which would cost me £159.92 obviously had no problem paying this however they wanted to charge me an extra delivery cost of £50 when I live only 4 miles away. I have emailed them and they have blanked refused to negotiated. No loyalty just out to make as much money as possible. I wouldn’t mind but I also have my mother ordering £1000 worth of decking had I known they were like this I wouldn’t of bothered. You can get composite decking anywhere and I would suggest doing so.

I have been in contact with Demie from Dogwatch for several weeks now. I’ve experienced the most loving, amazing, incredible support due to my situation. Dogwatch has been an exceptional experience. Even though there was a tragedy, I came to terms with the fact that accidents happen and no one is to blame. I’ve changed my rating to five stars. The customer service was absolutely outstanding. I genuinely appreciate the kindness from each and every person that is helped me through this very hard situation. Thank you so much, Demie and Mage for your kindness and support. This was my original review: I’ve had dogwatch installed since 2013. I made sure that the system works properly. I trained her exactly the way I was shown. Exactly as long as I was told to. I had someone come out and check it multiple times. I set the height where it was supposed to go for my 70 pound pitbull lab door mix. She figured out how to get past it. I had her collar on tight enough. I had to turn all the way up to the maximum. The battery was brand new. I trained her Properly. She was eight months old when I got the fence installed. She passed away two days ago at 5. She was hit by a car. She was an incredibly smart dog, but she couldn’t keep away from chasing the deer that ran through our yard. I had followed the systems directions and the instructors directions correctly. But it wasn’t enough to keep her from running straight over it. The first time she crossed over the line, she was a year and a half old. No matter how high I put the fence, and no matter how strong I had the shock turned up, she got past it. Now she’s dead. This might work for smaller dogs and cats, but large animals I don’t think I would recommend spending $1200 on this product. The reason I got it is because she could dig a hole that was as big as she was and a fence wouldn’t work. A fence would’ve been five times more expensive and she wouldn’t have been able to come into the front yard. I thought I had found the miracle answer to my problem. But she still lost her life. Big dogs and really smart dogs will figure out away. My mom works with someone who has a small dog who figured out how to scoot underneath the fence somehow. Has the exact same company. The exact same installation. And got out all the time. She lives in a residential neighborhood so she got lucky. We live near a highway where people just don’t slow down. Someone hit her and did not even stop to see if she was still alive. My neighbor found her and ran to me but she had frozen almost to death and was in shock when I found her. She died 30 minutes after we got to the vet clinic. From hypothermia. She was my baby. She was my fuzzy four legged daughter. The collar became useless after a while. She slipped out the door and my mom did not see her that morning. We had already started taking her out on the leash because it was obvious that dogwatch wasn’t working anymore. My mom did not see her run out the door that morning. It was 40° outside and when she was hit, she laid on the side of the road dazed within sightof her house and froze slowly and painfully to death. She stayed alive long enough to tell mommy goodbye.

From the initial site survey with Chris the designer, who was very friendly and knowledgable about the product everything went very smoothly. All designs are bespoke, so we got exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for the build team, Ricky and Slav were considerate and tidy, and just really nice chaps! Olly and Tony came to check on the build at various stages, they were very approachable and genuinely keen to have satisfied clients. We are thrilled with the end result and look forward to many kids sleepovers, movie nights, pool competitions...

It was a good product but it was too heavy for the driver to unload the pallets on the slight slope outside our house as he only had a hand operated lift.My neighbour and I unpacked the pallets on the lorry and took them off by hand.It would have been quite dangerous for the driver to unload on his own as the pallets were a ton in weight.

I contacted Jim’s Fencing for a quote. Chris, the Franchisee actually got back to me within about 5 mins. We arranged for him to come out and quote which he did. The job was finished within a week of first speaking to him. He kept me well informed as to when he was coming. The job was neat and professional. I would definitely recommend Chris.
