I get carpet cleaning every two to three months so I'm always switching to different carpet companies because they can never get the job done right. I happened to stumble upon Citiwide Chem-Dry through the internet and called for a rating. They were very polite and asked questions and explained to me what products they will be using for the carpet and gave an estimate. When they arrived they were very quick and professional and did a very good job! I have two dogs that are not well potty trained that's why I needed a place that would get the job done! They got the job done with a very good price and also gave me a discount coupon for next time! What more could I ask for?

The company seems to higher terrible people who don't know how to do a job correctly. I had my grout done and it does not even look clean. They got everything very wet and left splashes on my appliances. Find someone who knows how to do the job and skip them.

Steven and his associate came today and they were friendly, helpful and very professional. They wore masks and were very considerate of any concerns I might have had. When my son used "all-purpose" cleaner on our taupe carpet, the fact that ""with BLEACH" was prominently displayed was lost on him. My wife and I were left shaking our heads, while our fairly new carpet was left with a plate-size yellow bleach stain. When I started hunting for repair solutions, and ran across bleachstain.com, it sounded too easy, too good to be true. But we ordered it, followed their instructions (EXACTLY), and our carpet looks like nothing ever happened to it! We're beyond impressed, we're left shaking our heads again. This time over something close to a miracle—their dye kit covered that stain, matching our carpet perfectly.

I had very successful results with Jerry at bleachstain.com. My oriental wool carpet had a large brown stain from using oxyclean on the carpet. I tried baking soda, water, vinegar and other cleaners. Nothing worked. Then i found bleachstain.com and emailed them. jerry was very prompt and helpful. I sent him photos and he walked me through the process. He answered all my questions as we went along. After the first application the stain was about 65 to 70 percent gone. I needed more product and jerry sent this to me without charge. The second application completed the process. I am so relieved. This is a large carpet and i am very happy with the results. Jerry was great every step of the way.

I obtained a quote online for work. I scheduled the work to be done on a Saturday between 2 and 5. At 4, I called to make sure that they were coming. I was told by the operator that I was next on the list At 4:30, I got a text message that my team, headed by John Ying, would be there at 5:40. At 6, they had not yet arrived and I called dispatch again. This time, I was told that the job was cancelled as they went to the door and rung the bell, but no one answered. No way that could happen as I was looking outside from 5:30 on and it is an apartment. They could not have gotten to the front door. So, I suspect that they didn't want to start a job so late on a Saturday and they just put that excuse into their system. I rescheduled for Monday at the same time and asked to have a manager call me. On Sunday, I went to Lowe's and rented a machine to do the same work as I had contracted with SS. I did it for $300 less. Still waiting for a call from management. Now, I will never use Stanley Steemer again. Better to use a local guy!!

We first used Stanley Steemer and were happy with the service. We bought one of their 12 month contracts. They do not allow you to book appointments online using the contract, but you can for anything else, (odd?). They try to up sale on every visit. When we told them at the end of the contract we were not going to renew, the service was just horrible. Areas that appeared to have not been touched, despite being pointed out to them upon arrival. A sick dog does leave a mess. I would have been more understanding if they had done something and said they tried. NOTHING done. They were in and out of our home in just over an hour. That was "cleaning" 3 bedrooms, family room, living room, and a couple of other areas, including moving the furniture. Never again will I call them. I am not a fan of up selling after you have made an agreement. I get it when negotiating but not after the fact.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY- I ordered… DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY- I ordered a ring that I specifically asked to be delivered before I was leaving for out of town in a week and was promised this would be the case. The ring was NOT delivered by the date promised and was NOT delivered to our home late or ever as we have RING DOORBELL footage that shows USPS arriving and delivering a package that day, but never FEDEX even though FEDEX claimed I signed for the delivery (again I was OUT OF TOWN, so not possible). I supplied 1st Dibbs the RING DOORBELL footage, my plane and hotel itineraries as proof and informed them I requested delivery by a specific date and they told me FEDEX denied the claim, as it was signed for (a straight line) and delivered (lie) and the only thing I could do is to file a police report for theft. How can I claim something was stolen if it was never received? How can this be on me when the contract was between 1st Dibbs and FEDEX to have me sign for the delivery and that never took take place? How can a company not care that you paid them with nothing in return and will not dispute FEDEX over their customers claims and proof?? DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from these people. THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU GET YOUR GOODS OR NOT- DISGUSTING PRACTICES.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Upon receiving a rolex watch for $7,000.00 Rolex via 1st DIBS, the vendor being International Vintage Watch Company, it was taken to a certified Rolex dealer in Austin, Texas. The technician stated that the bracelet was very worn and was about to break, the pins holding the links are paper thin. The technician did not open the case, he did notice that the "attenuation" was off and the watch was running fast. The next day my husband noticed that the watch had "fogged" over. This means the watch was not waterproof. All Rolexes are watertight. My husband did not submerge the watch, the humidity in Texas can be brutal and that's all we can think of. This means it's really not sealed. We tried to return the watch as it was not in the condition they stated. They are saying that my husband wrecked the watch by wearing it for 6 hours. They have supposedly fixed the watch and are sending it back to me, but are not willing or able to provide tracking for the return. Update_ The vendor has ceased communication and is refusing to provide tracking for the order that was supposed to be shipped back to us last week. So we are out $7,000 with no merchandise to show for it. This has been an incredibly unprofessional transaction hosted by 1st Dibs. Now we are looking at grand theft. We are going to file suits against all parties. 1st DIBS should be shut down. Just take a look online and read their reviews, which I'm sorry I didn't do. It's shocking they are able to run such a dodgy biz handling high-dollar transactions. !st Dibs has been silent and have done nothing to help solve this situation. I have been forced to do a chargeback. ROBERRYYYY

For goodness sake. Waiting for my coffee table since last year Nov. On their website it said, Feb will come in the store. I called, not here yet. Then they change it to the beginning of March. I call today, not here yet. Now they change again and said 2weeks later but no guarantee. Thank you very much for that.

Just want to share how incredibly scammy the experience I had with this company was. I ordered 6 dining room chairs online. When I ordered the customer service agent I was speaking g to on their chat told me they had them in stock and ready to ship. Two weeks later I called to check on shipping update since I had not seen any updates. They asked me if anyone had reached out to me about the price. I told them no. The person on the phone then informed me that the price I purchased it at was and I quote, “not profitable” and it would cost me $400 more. Tbh, it’s not even about the money, It’s the principle. This is literally an illegal practice. You are not legally allowed to post a price, accept payment, and then come back and demand more money. When I o formed them of this they told me they would have someone call me back. Now via email they are trying to say the chairs were not in stock and that they will be cancelling my order. Clearly someone messed up their pricing online and rather than making it right, they are being SHADY. I would NOT waste your time with a company that operates this way. I am absolutely appalled and will be filing a complaint with the BBB and FTC. I doubt anything will come of it, but again, it’s about principles and clearly this company does not have them

Our lamp was a christmas gift hence not opened until christmas eve. We received the lamp mid november to be on the safe side and the package was in mint condition so we had no reason to believe that there were any damage made to it during transportation. When we contacted them they claimed that it was to late and that we had to buy a new cord. Even though their FAQ states that they will reach out to the manufacturer of the lamp, they didn't. Hung up over phone when I got frustrated. The manufacturer sent us a new one free of charge. One of the worst online shopping experiences in my life. Useless support, rude and not service minded at all, I would gladly pay 10% more for better service. Don't seem to be interested in getting return customers.

There should be a photo of Frank and team in the dictionary next to "Customer Service"! If there were six stars to give I would. Called in the morning realising that our new sofa would not fit through the front door. Frank gave me a timing and pricing estimate off the bat and offered to come on the same day. They managed everything with a "can do" attitude, were so nice and professional, and did not leave until the sofa was unpacked, mounted and in its right place. Frank even helped to move a part that the sofa company had managed to get in the wrong place. Amazing service, couldn't recommend more!

Don't waste your money or time ordering from this company, they state same day delivery - its a joke you can't even speak to someone on the same day, they are working from home with seemingly inefficient equipment, its a farce if they cannot tell you the status of an order or even if they have stock of the item. £1200 on 2 beds, one a silentnight microcoil all singing n dancing. Springs have parted. So as there's a 5 year guarantee, I call them. They say to email photos, which I did. This was their reply. "As the products are over six months old, under the Consumer Rights Act the onus is on the customer to prove to Bensons for Beds that the product is faulty. Should you feel strongly that your product is faulty; you are welcome to arrange your own independent inspection. This inspection would have to be at your own expense and by a company which was pre-approved by us (so you would need to let us know the details of the company, and the cost, before arranging an appointment). Naturally we will not accept a report from a competing retailer, and we have had experience of less scrupulous inspectors, so please discuss with us first who you wish to appoint. If the technician finds in your favour we will review our decision and, if in agreement, reimburse you the cost of the inspection up to a maximum of £100 and discuss with you the next best course of action." I forsee a battle on the horizon! Avoid!!!

As others have said this is not a reputable company. Its the first time I have ever had to dispute a credit card charge. After realizing I had made the wrong order I tried to cancel 10 minutes later and they would not allow it. Any company that operates like this is a scam. I called to cancel and they said they would "try" but I keep receiving emails about my order in the process of being sent to me with no tracking number and despite my reminders to them that I canceled.

I am not giving review because of quality of furniture ....I ordered a small sideboard employed a man to build it he found that they had sent the wrong part so I had to get a new part resent this was done quickly but I received the wrong part again I had employed the man for a second time because the parts were wrong through no fault on my part. The company told me to send back the item and they would refund money providing I had the proper packaging which I had thrown out. I have had a stroke and can't use my right arm and leg. I explained to furn on about why I couldn't physically package it myself and I tried to employ the same man to help me but he was unavailable it had already cost me extra to employ someone to fit something that cost £85 so the item had cost me an extra£70 to get built and if I had employed someone else to get and repackage item I would have further expense. I ordered a chest of drawers, delivery was promised 48hrs later on the Friday - however I did not receive the item. I called Furn on customer service to question why I have not received the item. To my surprise the representative was rude and had an appalling attitude. I spoke to TONY at Furn on - instead of initially resolving the issue of delivery he insisted on cancelling my entire order despite me not authorising this action. He raised his voice, intimidating and used bully tactics to force me into cancelling my order. Eventually he apologised and stated “the weather is too hot - hence his attitude” that he can arrange an express delivery for the following day. I waited yet again for the Item on the Saturday only to receive “part” of the chest of drawers. The other part had not been sent by Furn on, which now means another day of waiting for the second part of the parcel to arrive. Having regularly shopped online - I would never use this company again and would strongly advise others not to bother. Customer service at Furn on is unprofessional, they do not deliver in a timely manner and unbelievably one product is sent out in two different parcels. Next time, I will be sticking to more reputable companies such as Made and Wayfair!

Absolutely shocking, save your money. Ordered a £350 coffee table to receive a shoddy piece of furniture from them. Absolutely awful, wouldn't have paid £50 for it. Contacted them to return and the earliest collection date they could organise was in 20 days! Collection date arrived, I was out so left the parcel out front for the driver. When I returned home the parcel was still there. Checked video footage and the driver had got out of his van, scanned the item and then left without collecting the item. No phone call from the driver, no refund and I still have a great big parcel and am out of pocket £350. Husband called Dwell today to find out what had happened, they apologized and said they could collect until after Christmas. This is simply not good enough, we could have couriered the item back to them 20 days ago and have our money back in time for Christmas. Thanks for nothing Dwell and Richard in customer service who wasn't prepared to go any extra distance to sort this.

Some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Once they have taken your money they do not care. Prior to my purchase that could not have been friendlier. The day of delivery I got a call saying their vehicle had broken down and that they will call me back that day or the next to arrange another delivery. I heard nothing. I had to send emails and call them myself, daily, for 3 consecutive days. Finally got to arrange the delivery and the earliest they could do was a whole week later than originally planned. The following week delivery day comes and they call me to tell that due to 'government restrictions' they have closed all of their factories and are no longer distributing until the restrictions are lifted. I work for a manufacturer and we are still open and delivering, so whats the issue? Bottom line is, they work hard to be friendly during your purchase. But once they have your money - THEY DO NOT CARE. Basically, they have taken my £600 but I have no goods to show for it and won't do for several more weeks.

We paid over £4,500 for a corner sofa in January 2019 (in cash which was maybe a mistake). When we were sold the sofa the salesman told us it was best leather, hard wearing all the way from Italy. As we have young grandchildren we thought it would be the ideal sofa. How wrong were we!!!!! The sofa was delivered 4 weeks ago. Both my husband and I work and do not sit on the sofa all night long. However, sagging has already started. Went back to FV to check if their display sofa did the same. It didn't. We spoke to the mgr and he told us to smooth the leather and tuck it to the back of the sofa each night................we paid £4,500 to do that!!!!!! mmmmmm I think not!!!!! The mgr told us that a technician from the manufacturer would come to see us to see if it was a manufacture fault. We received a phone call today from FV (and guess what) - it isn't a manufacture fault and FV can't do anything else (apparently). We'll see about that. Small Claims court here we come. We're fuming, we're due to retire and thought the sofa would last a long time. Our last leather sofa (not from FV and not expensive) lasted over 15 years. There was nothing wrong with it so we gave it our daughter. The only reason for a new sofa was that we were refurbishing the house.

We spent over 3 k at furniture village on bedroom furniture when it arrived we noticed it was damaged straight away and reported it to head office and the store via email we also tried calling and posting letters all with no response the manager bradley at the time was none responsive, we are disgusted with the way we were treated, we had to contact our card issuer to obtain reimbursement, 7 months later we receive contact from the new store manager raif asking for the money back we were refunded, our issue was and still is completely ignored, unfortunately we disposed of the goods and are now in a legal battle. Moral of the story is if you buy from these con merchants you will receive No after care once they have taken your money, PAY A PREMIUM AND BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

My home was destroyed after Hurricane Sandy and I needed to purchase furniture for the entire downstairs. I ended up buying it all at Raymour and Flanigan in Carle Place, NY, order# 03043H5GIPF, dated 3/04/13. The salesman suggested using their special 60 month financing through Wells Fargo which I took advantage of. He confirmed and explained that monthly payments were not necessary and as long as the loan was paid in full by the 60th month, it would be considered current and paid in full. I question him again and he said with 100% certainty that these are the terms. For 57 of the 60 months I made monthly payments anyway as it was easier for me. Three times I sent payments in late. The loan is now satisfied. This summer I applied for a loan and had issues getting approved because of those three late payments. I contacted Raymour and Flannigan CEO's office and three times left a message with his assistant and she never returned my call. Out of frustration I then contacted the manager of the credit department who said prior to my purchase they did offer those types of terms, but not anymore and the salesman's was incorrect in telling me that. I then ask for a letter from the credit manager explaining this was the reason my payments were late to forward to Wells Fargo. My hopes were Wells Fargo would change their reporting to the credit bureaus. The manger agreed to send it. When I followed up I was then told he didn't believe me and wouldn't write the letter. If their team isn't responsive, honest and doesn't convey accurate information to customers than why do business with them?? Would never buy from them again!

Order promised 3 days or less. It took two weeks only after I called them. Furniture assembled damaged and drivers never disclosed the damage. I had to call to get an exchange and they sent a repair guy instead to spray paint my new dining room set. I highly recommend not buying their over priced junkie furniture.
