DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I ordered 4 bath mats which were described as 1000mm x 600mm. There was no mention at all in the size description that this size can differ meaningfully from these measurements. When I received the items, all of them are different lengths and none of them are 1000mm long - they ranged from 1040-1060 in length. They do not fit in the spaces that I required them to and when I sent this to the customer service department, they merely told me in a nonchalant way that there can be a 5% discrepancy in size. They totally ignored the fact that I cannot use these items at all due to this issue and that all the money I spent on this order was essentially wasted, they made no effort to help or fix the issue at all and were just dismissive. I then replied saying that I thought their reply was quite ridiculous (as it had not tried to help resolve my issue at all but just had dismissed the fact they had delivered something different to what I had ordered) and their reply was "Thank you for your reply. We sincerely lament the fact that you consider our response ridiculous". So rather than sensing a customer's frustration, they chose to use extreme sarcasm. Never in my life have I encountered an attitude like this with a post sales issue and I hope never to again. I will NEVER EVER use this company again.

Ahhh OK! So it all makes sense now. I wanted to order a new picnic rug and cushions - saw some gorgeous ones on this website. Purchased and paid via PayPal. Email then received from PayPal saying the transaction was under review (?) - odd as I use PayPal all of the time and never had this before. PayPal then cancelled my payment. I tried again... exactly the same “ PayPal is required to review certain transactions in order to minimise risk for us or our customers. The payment you sent is currently being reviewed and we will complete this process within 72 hours. This review involves this transaction only and does not affect the use of your PayPal account”. Latest update from PayPal is that both payment are cancelled - I figured at this point PayPal knew more than I did so I headed over to google for some reviews on this company... bingo! Thank you PayPal for protecting me! ??

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. It takes a month to respond to an email and they aren’t capable of posting a cheque to refund me the balance of my account the took from my previous supplier. When I was transferred to them by ofgem they were described as “supplier of last resort” which I would wholeheartedly agree with! Stick to the reputable suppliers it is much simpler!!

I thought it was some kind of elaborate prank at first and then realised they were serious. Also upon further investigation, they lied to me about the prices I would have gotten with them as I went and checked myself. They were far more expensive

If there was a ‘0’ star it would get it. This is the worst company and customer service I’ve ever encountered. Ordered the sofa because it was ex-display and advertised 2 week delivery time. 5 week delay on the 2 week promise - so far!! 3 no-show deliveries. Paid money in full. They damaged the sofa in their warehouse so it didn’t make it onto the delivery van. No contact from them. It was the delivery driver that called and said he had my paperwork but no sofa on his van. Was about to ask for money back but they miraculously found me another one and arranged for it to be delivered the next week. No show again, no contact. Third delivery date has been and gone today. Each time I’ve had an email with a specific time slot but I honestly believe they have no idea where my sofa is or when they will deliver it to me. Called over 8 times. Each time with an hour’s wait on the phone. Been to store 3 times. They are not empowered to help you at all! So stressful and absolute shambolic system they have. Would never recommend to anyone.

Hi We bought an ex display sėt that We were told will be checked over and come to us as new, when it came the foot stool was broken hinges falling off and gas struts bent , told them and they said as it’s ex display you can’t have a replacement just £50 quid back or a repair , as I am a joiner it’s not repairable so looking further at the quality decided to ask for refund , so no probe they took it back , but as we don’t look at our front door very much or use it the delivery drivers smashed the shapeless foil of my white pvc doors , so watched the next chaps who came to collect and they were fine , we excepted £150 for the damage just to say bye bye , then 3 weeks later the first payment of finance has come out , so now chasing for a refund for furniture returned, looking back at our experience with the actual store when we bought it should have warned us away , as the sales person agreed a cost with us then when we got to the till to pay the cost went up over £200 , so we ended up walking out and buying it direct on line instead and got it for the cheaper price, I would say stay away as the quality does not look good ,

DO NOT USE – Dishonest, Predatory Business Practices, Coercive, False Advertising Made purchase Sept 3rd -order 9176497. Order was for powered recliner loveseats and single recliners. Site indicated based on zip code delivery would take place 1-2 weeks. After placing order and company taking funds, I received a call where was notified none of my powered furniture could use power features without an additional $800 purchase. I paid this and moved on. It took several weeks to get est delivery date which at one point was a month out. Once could schedule actual delivery was set for 2 months after purchase. Main issue is predatory business practices in fact they claim a est delivery time but informed of real delivery time well past the 24 hour mark. You only have 24 hours to cancel a order for full refund. If done after that the fee is 15% +$1.75/lb which makes it so expensive you can’t and are locked in. They do not advertise that delivery can take 4x or more time they give you at time of purchase. They also don't list real price which is to make sure goods can be used for intended purpose. They then intentionally miss inform you so you can’t cancel in the 24 hour window to get full refund (i.e. knowing realistic delivery window or total cost to ensure goods work as indented). The company uses false advertisement, coercive business practices

I love the product, but their service is just appalling. I ordered a double bed. A two men delivery was arranged promptly. Wen it arrived the couriers decided to literally throw the furniture items from their van, despite the heaviest item weighting not more than 60lb. They then dragged them across a road on asphalt and then pavement, damaging protective packaging. They did the same once in my flat scratching my parquet floor. When I protested in horror they stopped and let me lift it (I am a woman) and carry it myself while they stood and watched laughing. It then turned out that they failed to deliver one of the boxes, as their invoice incorrectly stated that there were two items, despite boxes being labelled1 to 4. Moreover, while dragging the headboard they managed to damage it. I called Furniture choice and complaint to be told that the missing item and a replacement headboard would arrive two days later. I waited the whole day at home and it did not. Contacted Furniture to be told it would arrive the following day. It did not. And it was not delivered the following day after, despite their assurances. I wasted 3 days sitting at home waiting for my delivery. Absolutely shocking. After an angry email I was finally contacted by their rep who assured my delivery would be arranged for the following week, however, they would not be collecting the damaged headboard and that I could throw it away. As it happens I live in a block of flats and in order to dispose of buy waste I need to pay my council (Southwark) £16, with the nearest collection date after Christmas and New Year. So now I have an option to hire a car (at an additional expense) to drive it myself to my local refuse center or let it clutter my flat for the next 2-3 weeks. Thank you very much Furniture Choice!

I purchased a Rio L Shaped sofa from Furniture Choice in black faux leather. The looked ok to start with but the quality of the material they make the sofa cushions from is very poor quality and is not fit for purpose. One of the seat cushions has worn out and is shredding off little pieces of black material everywhere. I contacted Furniture Choice customer services but they were most unhelpful, they refused to supply me with a new seat cushion, even though they admit they are the manufacturers, or even if I offered to pay for it! I have not had the sofa a very long time and expected it to last a lot longer then it has. I certainly wouldn't buy anything from them again and definitely wouldn't recommend them.

Do your research before buying from Comfy Sleeps Home The experience I’ve had with this company is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. I bought the Nina Wingback bed and matching ottoman box in September and had to email 3 times to make a very polite enquiry on a delivery date before I received a response. When the delivery was eventually made (a day later than scheduled) the 2 side panels were damaged. The delivery driver advised me to take a photo and send via SMS (which I did) and I also followed up by email (just in case). When I hadn’t received a response within 24 hours, either to my SMS or email, I rang their customer service team only to be advised to email a photo of the damage! I explained I had already done so. Their customer service advisor then went on to explain that ‘her manager was opening the email now’ and confirmed that the panels were damaged and replacements would be sent ‘as soon as possible’. This timescale was too vague and could mean anything from 1 week to several months before I received the replacement parts, so explained that I would like the replacement panels within 1 week or I would return the entire order for a full refund. After 1 week with absolutely no communication whatsoever, I rang their customer service number to enquire on the delivery timescales. I left a voicemail (which no one responded to) and followed up later that day with an email, enquiring on the timescales. In that email I specifically requested for someone to contact me by noon the following day and failure to do so would result in me formally requesting to return the whole order for a refund. Again, I did not receive a telephone call or email within the outlined timescales and consequently sent an email requesting to cancel and return the order for a refund. The following morning, a delivery driver turned up to my property in a car, with the replacement panels in his boot! He flatly refused to take away the damaged panels and essentially said ‘I could do what I wanted with the damaged panels’. This led to a rather unpleasant altercation on my doorstep with the delivery driver storming off empty handed, leaving me with a bed and ottoman box I’d formally requested to return, plus a 2nd pair of side panels. I immediately sent another email, again reiterating my intention to return the full order in exchange for a refund. I also put the order status with Klarna in ‘dispute’ as one payment is left to make. 5 days after my formal request to cancel, I received an email formally rejecting my request to return the item on the basis ‘they had promptly resolved the issue’ despite my request to return the order for a refund, being emailed the day before the delivery driver brought the replacement side panels. In the email, they explained that they are always willing to work with their customers to come to a solution that works for both and offered to collect the order if I covered the cost of the goods (£223.50)! After taking legal advice from a solicitor, I sent a formal Letter Before Action in compliance with the Practice Direction on Pre-Action Conduct. This outlined a counter-offer to cover £150 for the goods, not £223.50 as they had initially offered. I eventually received an email requesting a telephone appointment with their Managing Director, who accepted my offer and agreed to collect the bed ‘before the end of the year’. I received the refund as agreed, however, 3 weeks has elapsed and the bed still hasn’t been collected despite further emails/telephone calls. I have been pragmatic, polite and patient throughout this whole experience but this company seems to be built on a foundation of poor quality control and poor customer service. Comfy Sleeps Home really needs to improve its operating model. You simply cannot treat customers this way and not expect negative reviews. I would never use this company again and will continue to share my experience with anyone I know who is looking to buy a new bed.

Awful, please do not use this company. The headboard they delivered would not fit up my stairs and they would not allow me to return it for a smaller one, I’m now stuck with a bed that I can’t get up the stairs. The headboards should come in two parts to allow for negotiating stairs. Total waste of money I’m devastated and the customer service were so unhelpful and will not exchange the item for an item that is in fact £80 cheaper. The item is brand new and packaged, I know my consumer rights and I will be taking this matter further

As a contractor one thing I don’t need is a vendor that doesn’t deliver what they promise. I have done several kitchen and baths with Bestonline and have NEVER been disappointed. On one occasion a cabinet had a small crack in the face but they did a fast replacement. That’s service. Quick shipments and great pricing also makes dealing with them a no brained.

They came and took the curtains and I paid a 50% deposit on $550 quote. They were supposed to delivery the curtains back in 5-7 business days. They took three weeks to return the curtains and the curtains had not been cleaned. They were also placed in garbage bags and all creased. They were difficult to get a hold of and would not return calls. I called the company on the number 1800173334 and they said they would deal with it next week. I explained that I did not want to wait until next week and want my money back. The supervisor on the phone began yelling and told me to “watch yourself” he told me to “screw off” and called me a “freaking wench”. He hung up. I’d like my money returned.

Was quoted $140-180 over the phone for three rooms. When the operator arrived her informed me of a $50 charge per room for and end of lease clean. I agreed. Upon giving me my invoice he informs me the cost is now $506 and I must bank transfer the funds immediately. Having thought about it and deciding this was an extortionate charge I complained and was told because I paid at the time I had no grounds to request any money back. The job was also terrible and left stains so when asked to return to clean again (which was allegedly included in the $50 per room fee) I was told as it was more than 24 hours later I wasn’t entitled to them fixing the issue. GO ELSEWHERE.

We recently had a carpet repair done and days later it is all freying at the joins. Job was also higher $ value than we were quoted. Tradesman was late due to car breaking down. Job was booked in for 11am he texted as he wanted to attend at 2.30pm. I said not good enough and he arrived at 12.30. Our work was done by Marks Maintenance contracting. I haven't bother to complain about the poor quality of the job, as from other reviews I can see the company does not care.

AVOID - They simply hand off to a contractor company - Mine was Mark Maintenance cleaning. Just avoid and do no use these guys. I asked to remove the urine smell from my dog. The next day it was worse and they said i never asked for it to be cleaned. They keep saying "NO REFUNDS" I have processed a chargeback on my credit card. Hopeless company.

I also left a review under charter cable because they are the same company and now go by charter spectrum. They falsely advertised to me internet service of 400/30 (400 download and 30 upload speed). However, after they installed it, i noticed that the speeds are nowhere near what they promised. This was especially true on the upload speed which never went over 17mbs. After working with three technicians and the customers service line, they all confirmed that only 400/20 was available and that 400/30 was never a legitimate offering. When I asked the sales rep for help, she was nasty and rude and basically said too bad. They said I can cancel the service and go elsewhere but they charged me $50 installation fee also which they will not refund. The sales rep said her director and company instructed her to sell 400/30. So they know they are lying but don't care. They are shady and cannot be trusted.

I submitted an order for a CD rack on December 31, one day before a free shipping offer was due to end. The free shipping was very enticing and without it I probably would not have placed the order. I immediately received an email confirming my order, but after one week I had heard nothing further, so I emailed an inquiry. I got this semi-literate reply: "Generally we do ship orders out very fast . Due to the Holiday's and being closed last week due to inventory put us behinde schuled. A few days later, I was again told that my order would ship on Monday 14 January. In fact, the order didn't ship until Wednesday 16 January, which I learned from a Fedex email. I consider 16 days an excessive amount of time between order and shipping, unless there are very good reasons, in which case I expect to be kept informed. Boltz's customer service was very unprofessional in this respect. That said, my order arrived in only three days and the rack proved to be of high quality. The only complaint I have about the rack itself is that the threads on the ends of the rods were not all cut cleanly, so that the nuts went onto some rods farther than onto others, thus making it harder to keep the spacing even between the side panels. My other, minor, complaint is that the instructions were packed wrapped around the nuts and other hardware, which resulted in their near shredding. An extra rod and extra nuts and bolts were included, which was generous, although perhaps a bit wasteful. The same goes for the full-sized wrench included. In sum, although I'm satisfied with the CD rack and the free shipping, my overall opinion of Boltz is mixed due to the poor customer service I received. In fairness, I get the feeling that Boltz is a small company with its focus on manufacturing good products rather than providing good customer service. Nevertheless, no company conducting business online can afford to provide poor customer service--at least not for long.

I purchased a steel bedframe from Boltz. The quality of the item matched my expectations for a $1,099 item. At the time I place my order, Boltz collected a $93.14 shipping charge, and the item arrived about three weeks later. Thirty-days after that, the carrier sent me a bill for $98.00 because Boltz undercharged the shipping fee. The carrier (FedEx freight) stated this is a common trick. Buyer beware.

Orderd a bed , was told the day before delivery that someone would ring 30/60mins before arrival . Contacted customer support that day as no one called. Was informed again that courier will call.. which they didn't.. customer service same person answers all the time on live chat later in the evening said they have been and no one was there. Had to wait for them to send over a picture of front door which they did the following day and was told they have to wait for their call long. That was 3 days ago I've tried emails and live support it's got ignored. The land line is no longer in use. I explained that now we are sleeping on the floor as the old bed had to be taken away due to the new one arriving. So now we are without a bed and no refund in sight! UPDATE!!! So after you telling me a few days ago that the second attempt of delivery wouldn't be made as the deliver van had been in a snow accident you was gonna let me know when the courier would diliver sat or Sunday.. you didn't!! I was told by online chat it would be Sunday. (which is today) I've heard nothing , only chat and emails are getting ignored and still no bed in sight.. I've no faith it's going to turn up at all. If I've not had a response or a bed by the end of the day which was promised and the 3rd attempt I will go to trading standards ect this isn't acceptable as previously stated I'm sleeping on a floor as I had no room to store old bed as the new bed was coming !

Do not buy from this retailer. Sent damaged goods and they didn’t respond to emails or telephone calls. I had to enter into DISPUTE RESOLUTION WITH PAYPAL and they still aren’t playing ball by confirming receipt of a tracked delivery. I’ve had to upload additional photos, to evidence the damage and the failure to respond and proof of return, to allow PayPal to assess the dispute. They’ve found in my favour. It’s an absolute disgrace. Save stress and money and time by not buying from this retailer. Genuinely the worst experience of buying online.

We visited The Lighting Centre Guildford in the later part of 2020 looking for suitable pendant fittings for our kitchen. The staff are extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and courteous. We proceeded with the order and the items were delivered speedily. There were a number of small manufacturing issues with the fittings which required some attention. The test of a good retailer is their post sales customer service. Lighting Centre Guildford resolved all the issues speedily and with great care and attention. A superb company and very highly recommended.

I needed a new doorbell and discovered Byron are the ubiquitous brand however there were too many poor reviews especially regarding the ease of installation. Finding a different brand proved surprisingly difficult until I came across Jeani sold by Lighting Spares. The doorbell was very easy to use install despite the fiddliness of small items. Excellent customer service! I was very impressed with the customer service from this place. I had a problem with one of the items in my order (a slight manufacturing defect). I sent them an email explaining the problem, and received a proper (human) reply in 3 mins offering to sort the issue out! Not long after I received a phone call to arrange the replacement, followed by an email with a tracking number. Amazing and rapid customer service! I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

I would massively AVOID this company. I ordered over £600 worth of furniture in July, i FULLY understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but to ring for a update on my furniture (which for the past month i have been on the front page of the order book so thought it would of at least been started by now) and to be spoken to like absolute rubbish to be called rude for asking where my order is i think is totally unprofessional. All i wanted was reassurance that my furniture has at least started to be made i did not expect to be told to ring Boris Johnson to ask him when the pandemic will be over and someone shouting in the background (assuming this was the owners wife) i did not get a answer from this conversation just 'what do you want me to say?' like i said all i wanted was a bit of reassurance. £600 is a lot of money and to be spoken to with complete disrespect i think is appalling. like i say i totally understand that we are in a pandemic i am a key worker myself who is working in the middle of this pandemic. I have asked for a refund lets see if i get one i will be phoning my bank to look into this.

We ordered the Kings Road king-size bed. We had to wait a while, however, we understood that it was being handmade! The owner made 150 mile round trip to deliver the bed and build it in situ at no extra cost. The bed is a dream (pardon the pun). A lot of assembly, screwing and hammering required, and it took me several days and the help of a friend. That being said, now they are done and they look beautiful and feel very sturdy.

I ordered a product over two months ago, they took the money from my account but the product was never delivered. I have tried to email them but I have gotten no response at all. After many, many years of trying to find sofa covers to protect them from our many dogs and after trying every sort of throw, sofa protector cover, blanket, at last something that fits, stays put and looks neat. I called their 800 number listed on their website, and the person answers "Hello?", like I called them at home! I said I'm calling about my order. He says who did you order from? I said I ordered from you, I got this phone number from your website. And he says "we have a lot of companies". I knew right then I had been scammed and wasn't getting my stuff, and that's exactly what happened.

Made a big mistake with Blinds Galore - we called to see where our blinds were and they would never return a call. We received blinds (4 of the same blinds) with missing pieces - should not have been a hard order to fill. Called about the missing pieces but we have never received them. Also found out that you are NOT dealing with Blinds Galore once your order is received. The website gives you the impression that Blinds Galore is there for you. They are not and I will not use this company again. Update!!!!!!! They were supposed to send me parts that were missing. They did not ship out the parts until I wrote my review - more than a week after letting them know that parts were missing. There is a checklist of parts and we marked on the checklist (per their instructions) to show what parts were missing. Once my negative review was posted, they sent out "any" parts they desired. I still do not have my missing parts and they have never contacted me. This just shows what a "personalized" and "family oriented" company they are as compared to the "personalized" and "family oriented" company that they try to portray on the internet.

I just wanted to let your company know that I am very unhappy with the whole process of ordering a product and then trying to cancel an order and try to get a refund. I placed an order on 06/15/2020 for some cellular shades, the website couldn't give me a ship date so I called customer service and asked if they could give me a ship date. I was told about 2 ½ weeks, so I placed the order. I was told on my order status that it would ship out on July 14th plus however long it would take to get to my house. Horrible. So I called to cancel my order, ANOTHER NIGHTMARE!!!! I was told that I would have to wait a couple of days to wait for the factory to confirm the cancellation in order to issue a refund, then wait another 3-5 days to get my bank to issue the refund. Now I have to wait who knows long to get a refund. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a blind company!!!!

The Nikon 50mm lens I bought was about $15 cheaper than the next reputable dealer so I took a chance with this seller. The lens came without the manufacturers box and none of the original packaging. It could have been refurbished or used for all I know. The website did not disclose this information. The item description specifically said the lens was new. I called to make a return and the representative said the lens was taken from a kit. I will not buy from them again and I think it is dishonest to publish an item as new when it is not factory sealed with original packaging. UPDATE: Upon submittal of this review, I received a call from a representative from DIYMicro who wanted to amend the situation. He explained that this occurrence with the lens was not typical of the products they sell and they require all items shipped to be new from their suppliers. They offered me a 5 years warranty on the 50mm lens that I will buy to replace the one I returned and gave me a discount coupon for my next purchase. I have revised my rating of them as this care in customer service has improved my impression of the company.

I had emailed with a customer service Rep who was amazing and very attentive. I told him the measurements of my windows (big tall windows) because I was worried I wouldn't be able to reach them and he said there isn't a pole that's made by the brand of blinds I bought but that he could add one to my order manually. We ordered and paid more for top down bottom up cordless. Fast forward. Blinds were installed (crappy install directions) and the pole I got doesn't even work with the clips They supplied me with. Meaning, the big windows are a complete pain in the ass and I'll never be able to use the top down bottom up cordless option on any of my blinds. I've called and left messages and no one has called me back. I've emailed early on and the last lady I talked to said for me to send her a pic of my pole and the clips they supplied me with and that she would come up with a solution. NOTHING I've emailed her back like she wanted me to a couple times and NOTHING. The online chat is even full and now they don't email WTF!! They say you have a 30 day satisfaction window and I feel like they are dragging their feet. I will not let this go. I'm to the point where I want a full refund. Very disappointed after my mother in-law had a great experience (precovid) with this company

Believe it or not, design consultant, Theresa Jordan, at Blinds.com was able to find my 5 year old order for top/down bottom/up cellular shades and order a replacement for one that had broken. This was critical to me as the shade was one of 4 in a kitchen bay window in a house that will soon be on the market! What is even more amazing is the first consultant I spoke to said the shades I had purchases were no longer available and sent some samples of my replacement options. When I called back and got Theresa, I explained how important it was to match the existing shades and how the samples fell so short of that, her response was, let me get back to you on that, I may be able to get that shade for you. She called back a few days later and Voila! My original order will be duplicated! What a great design consultant Theresa Jordan is! Thank you Theresa!

It says on their website that they pride themselves in shipping 99.5% of all orders the same day. Well its been 6 days and I still had not received a tracking number, so I called them... Sounded like I just woke the guy up, he told me it would take a while for him to locate my order information even though I have the order number??? He took my phone number and says he will call me back. I was told to expect my order in no more than 5 days, now we are on day 6 and it looks like it could be another week, I dont have time for this and I WONT be wasting my time with these losers in the future.

I've ordered from American Blinds several times for my own home and also a rental unit. I've never had any problems. Their site is easy to use and the blinds always come as expected. SO much easier and cheaper than dealing with someone at a retail store!

ordered a blind over a month ago, the delivery date was suppose to be 2 weeks ago. checking today to see what the progress is, and their website said it has not even been made, and they are blaming it on covid. which is fine, but there has been no communication from the company on this. so not happy with this, and they have my money.

Website says $30 if not delivered in 3 days. They didn't deliver and didn't pay. The items had been discontinued but they never took it off the website or informed me when I ordered. All of their competitors informed me before I ordered. There are plenty of honorable places to do business, this is not one of them

First things first, always know exactly what you want and what you need before you order. Look at Items in a brick and mortar establishment before you order anything online. You will save yourself a lot of money and a lot of heartburn by following that one piece of advise. When you know exactly what you are ordering there will be no surprises except for the amount of money saved.

I ordered some Phillips DLP TV lamps from Discount TV Lamps (Discount Merchant). The transaction was cleared as of December 14, 2011 and the item arrived on January 7th, 2012… 3.5 weeks??!! I called several times but unfortunately wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone and therefore had to leave a number of messages. When I finally got a hold of someone, they gave me excuses to why the processing time was delayed and why the package hasn’t been shipped. On another note: I provided an alternate credit card, requesting that it be charged to the new credit card provided and they still charged it on the original credit card. Before I order from here, I would think twice about purchasing from this company.

Horrible customer service! Do not buy anything from this Merchant. Sent the wrong part and its taking four days to try and get my correct part. I'd demand a refund but at this rate it would take a month!
