I have been with them from last three months. They don’t have good management staff and after doing three shifts in a week I only paid for only one shift. I have sent them heaps of emails regarding my pay but my problems are not solved and atlast I have to ended up with a decision that I have to quit this job :(

If you’re slightly late paying your credit card or loan back they will call you from a private number roughly 6 times a day. Pretty disgusting. I just switched banks and I’m a lot happier. Can’t wait to pay off my credit card and close the account.

My husband I have had a Citibank card for over 2 years now and we use the card constantly over seas, we travel to many countries and have never had a problem. I lost my card in Thailand and they were able to cancel just my card and leave my husbands card still active on our joint account, which was fantastic. My card was skimmed after I used it in an AtM in Vietnam and Citibank refunded the money to my account with out any issues.

Lodged the online application of Citibank Plus transaction account 10 days ago. Never received a response. Called Citibank today, they told me need to go to post office to do verification. I asked why no one contact me or email me... No explanation, No apology, Nothing. Also inquired about foreign currency account 10 days ago and was told someone will contact me in 2-3 days. After 10 days, same thing, NO CONTACT. I do need to "RETHINK" if still BANKING with Citibank or not.

I have been a member of BCU for more than 25 years during which time I have had a very happy, friendly and helpful experience with the staff and management. They were eager to please and knowledgeable, I was happy to recommend them, until there was a change in management and ideas. They are now just pushing their staff to sell, sell, sell. They have consequentially lost all the old, experienced, friendly and helpful staff we once had at Macksville. When I have a problem, I can't get them on the phone, they have a high turnover of staff, meaning less experienced staff. There are invariably longer waiting times to get served. I wrote to the head office in May this year and on the 26th I received an automated reply telling me, "thanks we will be in touch with you shortly". It was months later that I rang up again and was told someone eventually would ring. Some time later I received a call from the Macksville manager, NOT the head office one I originally sent my enquiry to. All in all. BCU is NOT a bank I would recommend. April 4th, 2017 Update: It seems they are getting worse The continuing saga. I have emailed BCU a number of times, with questions that I would like answers to, but do NOT get a reply! Are they to big and don't care? Do they not have enough staff? They are changing our way of banking that is going to cost us more, but do not explain why? Firstly they change their BSB no. and we have to run around to let everyone know, that we deal with, about it. Now they are charging for more eftpos transactions than 20 per month, even though all the banks were encouraging us to use eftpos, as it was safer than carrying cash. They are also doing away with our CUE cards, is this going to cost us more? They won't tell me. Also their ibanking website that we use for banking, will close down, after about 5 to 10 mins, forcing you to log in again, even if you are still actively using it?? Where will it end?

My husband got a loan from bcu for a car he paid $20,000 himself and borrowed $34,000 he took out loan insurance to protect me . 4 months later he was killed in a car accident and Bcu wouldnt pay the insurance as he had a small cancer cut off his ear 3 years earlier and they said if they had of known they would never have insured him also didnt reimburse monies paid for the insurance. So not only was I grieving I also had to come up with $34,000

3 days waited delay after delay for preapproval, did enquiry over my credit file and wanted to put car loan under my wife and my name when I am supposed to be the main loan bearer, should have told me all this before when I put my time and effort in collating all information for them including my payslip, bonus evidence letter, govt benefit letter and yet couldn't proceed. Extremely upset.

Banked with IMB for 30 years, home loan for 11years & various personal loans. Home loan was a budget, life of loan discounted variable rate or so we were told. All seemed okay with this product in the early years but inconsistencies frequently occurred. Received a letter of demand after an apparent “default” Always made extra payments ahead of schedule buy some months, this now shows as a default on my credit score. Last few years while the cash rate seems to be dropping steadily they raise loan rate periodically by .10% without much justification. All of a sudden our rate is at 4.67% when their standard variable sits at 3.36%. Asked to refinance along with an additional purchase of an investment property but would not move on rate! Very bazaar! A few years back I was declined a $10k loan but happily offered a credit card at double the interest rate. Checked my credit score recently an this application was never lodged! Very dodgy mob, just interested in lining their own pockets! AVOID AT ALL COST, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I called circa 21 April to discuss my options on a super matter. I was booked with one advisor named [name removed] from Gymea office for 5 May with email confirming the same. Two days later I received an email changing the appt to 28 April with [name removed] from the Wollongong office. No call if I preferred that. A day later I received a call asking if I wanted an appointment have an advisor that day from the Chatswood. Hell I hadn't even completed the financial report. I explained the 3 different appointments and told them to stop changing crap around and to actually check if I had an appointment. Besides what actually happened to my prior appointments? Oh [name removed] isn't available now. Look just keep it for 5 May. Later that night, a lady from the Wollongong office called to offer me an appointment. WHAT THE HELL !!! What kind of crappy show are you all running there. 4 different appointments 3 different offices. I will wait for them to call again and then I will state you've lost me !!

My wife and I have been with State Superannuation/State Plus in Canberra for nearly 12 years since 2005. Over this time and due to a high turnover of staff, we have been bounced from one Financial Planner to another, which has not allowed for consistency in advice on our investments, especially during the period of the GFC. When we have been able to finally find professional and committed Financial Planners that understand our needs, they ended up leaving the Canberra Office due to apparent management issues. After only 18 months ago finally deciding to move our accounts to the well managed and high performing Woden Office of State Plus (where we finally found an excellent and professional Financial Planner), the Canberra Regional Manager without any consultation with clients, in December wrote to us advising us of ce us of the closure of the Woden Office and telling us we must again use the most inconvenient Canberra Office we had only recently left. As a consequence of the Woden Office closure in December, most of the staff from that office have since left State Plus, including once again our Financial Planner of only 18 months, causing us a great deal of inconvenience, anger and stress. Due to my past concerns falling on deaf ears, it appears State Plus HQ don't care about the problems in Canberra and the impact they have on their staff and in particular the Canberra regional clients. If it wasn't for the excellent service of few a individual and now departed Financial Planners, and our late stage in life, we would have left the company long ago. We are now seriously considering that option.

My wife has 2 Super accounts with CFS, one in her married name and one in her maiden name. Attempts to have both accounts combined into her married name have been nothing short of horrendous. When told it had been done we found out that it hadn't been. There are always excuses that the signatures on file don't match, which is not strange given the signatures are 15 years old. Then there are always other excuses as to why requested things haven't been done. Don't even consider trying to draw part funds from managed accounts - lost paper-work or a myriad of excuses to delay things. We would not and could not recommend CFS to anyone.

Had Enough

Only few hours on the day of inspection for the property, I call to make sure the property is still available. The inspection is confirmed and ongoing. While waiting for a while and nobody show up I call to find out what is going on. The answer from the receptionist :"Sorry the property is rented out!" . I took the day off from work for that inspection and receive only wet shoos!

I requested through mygov for my Asgard super to be rolled in to my current fund in November 2014 (along with 4 other ones I needed to roll up). The others used the mygov info and got on with it. Asgard didnt do it because apparently they needed a form completed (that contained the same information as the mygov site provided), they didnt tell me that, or send it to me (at the right address - even though they had my email). 1.5 years later i realised its still not rolled up, in which time ive lost over $300 in fees, i request it to be rolled up again, they make me sign this ridiculous form and then finally transfer me the balance as at now instead of as at the time i requested the transfer in Nov 2014. Such old fashioned processes, and clearly designed to take money from customers - so unethical. Unimpressed and would advise others to go to a super company that is customer focused instead of income focused.

From the courteous attention in the showroom shown by Roger to the installation of the carpets by 2 very helpful and cheerful young guys Jamie and Kincaid, the whole thing went smoothly. They did a great job and the new carpeted rooms look beautiful. Also they helped with moving some heavy furniture. The price was very fair compared to a major retailer nearby whose quote was $1000 more and they wanted to charge extra for moving any furniture.

I provided my inventory to 4 reputable removalists (one I had used 3x previously) to quote, and I packed - 2 brm equivalent. Affordable was second best price. I chose them on price and because they were recommended. And, when I spoke to the owner who was obviously under pressure, he had a 'can do attitude'. Given the short notice time frame we agreed on a mid afternoon pickup store overnight and delivery next morning 1hr 50m drive. I wasn't too fussed as to timings but the crew kept in touch and all arrived safely. I liked the crews - helpful, great attitude, and a willingness to 'go the extra'. I love it when 'professional' means friendly, respectful and reassuring too.

We recently used Affordable Removals for our move from Bulimba in Brisbane to Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. Bob and Reece were fantastic. So friendly and professional. They were very accommodating to all of our needs and nothing was broken in the move - just as they promised!! I would highly recommend Affordable Removals to everyone and I would definitely use them again in the future February 17th 2019 Update: Fabulous movers - highly recommend This was our 2nd move with Affordable Home & Office Removals after they moved us to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane 12 months ago. This time the move was on a much smaller scale, Coolum Beach to Mooloolaba, but still handled with the same level of friendly professionalism. They were running late on the day (which I can appreciate happens) but they kept in constant contact with us which we really appreciated. The move itself was seamless, with Gavin and Josh working their butts off until everything was not only moved in, but set up at the other end. And with no breakages!! We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for removalists on the Sunshine Coast.

Worst moving experience from Sydney to Darwin. They will not give you update on the shipment status unless you call and chase them. They will only call you when they are asking for money. My items arrived late, and basically you cannot request to get them earlier. So I ended up paying more by renting white goods from radio rentals while waiting for my stuff to arrive. When my stuff arrived, my wooden dining table was damaged due to the Water leak as well as my clothes in the box we're all wet, and they claimed their truck is fully covered and dry. Very irresponsible, no compensation, and not to mention cracks on my tallboy and scratches on my dining table. Unless you enjoy stress I won't recommend this removalist.

I was due for a pick up in Canberra between Thursday and Saturday. I was told I would get a call the evening before pick up to let me know a 4 hour window. I called on Thursday evening at 5:30 for an update on when I could expect them. I was told by [name removed] I was due for pick up on Friday and the driver would call when he was a couple of hours away...no call/no show. I called again Friday night to which I got an answer along the lines of 'we will get there when we get there, it might be Saturday, maybe Sunday' I enquired as to when that would mean I expect drop off in Melbourne and he said he had no idea. I explained that if it was a week day I would need to arrange time off work and being 5:30pm on Friday wasnt leaving me much time'. [name removed] response was that I was being difficult, he couldn't be [censored word removed] with my booking and he was canceling before hanging up on me. Long story short they told me on 3 different occasions when they were coming that saw me cancel plans and take time off work. On the first two occasions they never showed and never bothered to call. I tried to reach some resolution via the Backloading Company but was told that my stuff had made it from A to B so she didn't know why I was complaining. Please save yourself the stress of dealing with these shonksters, they are rude, completely unprofessional and believe the world revolves around them and their schedule. Everything!! Bunch of hillbillies that have zero care factor or customer service

On removal day they arrived at the agreed time to start the pre-pack. They were careful with the packing and there were no breakages. They were obliging, helpful and friendly. I moved to Newcastle a year ago and had no idea of a good removalist to use for a local move. A friend of my mum's had just used Doug Kirk Removals and gave them a great rap, so I called and spoke to Marion at DKR who was very helpful and answered all of my questions with no hard sell. On the move day they turned up on time, in fact they were 10 minutes early! Adam, Greigan and Colbee were friendly and worked hard to quickly and safely load the contents of 3 brds/ 2 living areas whilst navigating a tricky stairwell. When unloading my contents they continually checked where I wanted my contents placed and even connected my washing machine. Thank-you to the guys (especially for the care they took when packing my items on the truck) and Marion for a stress-free move. Oh and they were very reasonably priced!

I joined the Gym September 2016 for a year contract. I checked with receptionist (twice with different receptionists) in September 2017 when my gym membership finishes. They both said that my membership finishes on 11th October 2017. I asked them both twice that "so, after 11th of October, my membership completely finishes. I do not want my membership to continue as I have heard some gyms renew the membership themselves after the term finishes which I do not want and I want to make sure my membership does not continue". Then, they both said that the membership will not be extended and will definitely finish on 11th Oct 2017. Then, on 30/10/17, I found out that the gym direct debited $59.15 on 16/10/17 and 30/10/17. I called the gym and asked why. Then, the receptionist said that it is because of automatic roll over. My contract has finished, but it has automatically changed to a normal membership. I explained how I made it clear of this not happening in September. The receptionist said that he would send me the cancellation link to make sure my membership finishes by that day and will speak to Manager if they can honour the money debited after the term. I told him that no receptionist ever mentioned me about the cancellation link and it is not fair. The reception said that he will speak to Manager the next day to give me a call. On 31/10/17, I visited the gym to speak to Manager. Manager asked how he could help me. When I said that I am here for the gym membership cancellation, he said that "oh yes, he (pointed at the receptionist) told me about it. Have you completed the cancellation form?" I told him that that is my point that I clearly expressed myself that my membership to finish by 11th of Oct 2017 which is the day the membership supposed to finish and the receptionists said 'Yes', but no one ever mentioned me about the process. Manager said that it must have been a communication breakdown or I was not clear to the receptionist of what I wanted. 'Finish the membership' is not clear enough?. Anyway, he said that I should have given them the 30 day notice. I told him that I notified the receptionists in September already and they never mentioned me of any form filling process etc. He said that as per the term, 30 day notice can be given only after the contract period finishes, so they did not overcharge me or anything. He asked me to complete the cancellation form then he will process. I explained to him several times that it is unfair as no one ever clearly explained to me of this term. Manager said that the staff on contract would have explained to me and not many people read the contract. However isn't this the company's responsibility to notify consumers of the key terms and conditions? Also, the receptionists' reply in Sept gave me misleading information that my contract would end on 11/10/17, but yet they extended my membership without notifying me. Manager said that they cannot refund the money as I would have paid that money anyway as the 30 days cancellation notice could have be given on 11/10/17, so I would had to pay the fee on 16/10 and 30/10 to make up 30 day notice period. They said that they would have explained to me (which never have occurred until today) and I am the one did not read the contract, yet they have responsibility to explain the key terms to the consumers and I gave them 2 chances to make it clear in September. I have never been clearly informed of the cancellation period and process. I was told that my membership would end on 11/10/17, but they deducted money on 16/10 and 30/10. I have not attending gym as I thought that the membership has expired, yet I have been paying. Therefore, $118 paid through 16/10 and 30/10 has been wasted as result of the company not informing consumer of the right process. Oh, lastly, the manager said that the receptionists have so many other things to do than explaining the contract to the customers.

GO Health club Springwood or any of the clubs...Beware when signing up to this gym, make sure you take the contract home and read everything... Legally they are meant to provide you with a copy of your contract on the day of signing, this never happened to me after 2 days of not receiving anything I wrote to them asking for my contract as i wanted to cancel the membership, they do this so your cooling off period of 48 hours goes past. Im still trying to cancel the contract but they argue my cooling off period lapsed, they dont take any responsibility for negligant staff or do they simply train them this way???? sales tactics, their happy to take your money though and send you to a debt collector!!!!!!

-- Update: November 2016 -- After not quite 4 years in our home, I've decided that unfortunately I need to come and update this review for a couple of reasons. The first is that we've encountered some issues with the property, such as: 1. A burst water pipe. 2. A sink drain that became stuck in the 'closed' position. 3. Shower taps that fail to stop the flow of water. And the second is that actually getting PJ Burns to tend to any of these problems has been a nightmare. I could forgive and forget if they'd actually fix these problems promptly when we report them. But what actually happens is that my partner sends them a polite e-mail reporting the problem and requesting that they fix it, and then they respond saying that they have no intention of doing so and/or accuse us of causing the problems ourselves (sorry, but why on Earth would I be digging up the water pipes, PJ Burns???). Then I have to get involved and firmly explain things they should already know, such as the terms of the QBCC warranty and their obligations under Australian consumer law. Then some weeks later they admit that I'm right and fix the problem. In the case of the burst pipe, at least (we ended up with a sizeable sinkhole on our property thanks to PJ Burns's procrastination, and did they bother to do anything about that? Of course not). Or they just go silent, as in the case of the other two issues. Now I've got an unusable sink and a leaking shower in a house that's not even 4 years old, and PJ Burns couldn't care less. This is unacceptable, and I'm probably going to have to drag in the QBCC, the Office of Fair Trading, the ACCC, and possibly even QCAT before the problem is solved. Because it's not like I have anything better to do with my time. So I'm deducting 1 star for the fact that these issues occurred in the first place, and 1 star for the builder's appalling lack of post-build support and service and complete unwillingness to stand by the quality of their work and do right by their customers. -- Original Review (4/5) -- My experience with PJ Burns can only be reviewed in two parts. The first part is their sales process which is, in a word, terrible. It's simplest to just enumerate all the things our sales rep(s) (my wife and I dealt with two of them) did wrong: 1. Gave misleading advice about what was part of their "standard" inclusions and what was not (i.e. showed a demo house, said "everything you see here is standard", and then *after* we had signed our contract said "oh, by the way, this that and the other aren't standard, so you'll have to pay extra for them"). 2. Ignored questions and inquiries sent via email, SMS, and phone. Often the only way to get an issue resolved was to go down to their office in person. Some questions they just plain did not answer at all. 3. Constantly attempted to rush us into signing a contract despite repeated statements that we did not want to rush and that we'd rather take the time to make sure the contract was perfect *before* signing (this is standard advice to anyone building a home, regardless of builder). 4. Told us, in writing (e-mail communication) that they would do something, then tried to tell us that they weren't going to because it wasn't mentioned in our contract (if you're a law buff you'll note that the Telecommunications Act of 1997 forbids this). After *several* arguments on the subject they finally agreed to honor their word. 5. Made simple mistakes like double-billing the same item and required us to point out the same errors several times (see #2) before they fixed it. Repeatedly pressured us to sign the contract while it still had errors in it (see #3). 6. Engaged us with an attitude of "you can make changes before construction commences without having to worry about fees" and then threatened to hit us with admin fees if we didn't hurry up and sign the final contract (see #3). Though to be fair I must note that in the end we were not hit with any fees. 7. Were completely unable to perform simple research tasks such as contacting a vendor and determining if they can or cannot do something. Long story short we were only able to get some inclusions by investing our own time talking to the builder's vendors and confirming the various options available. 8. Scheduled appointments/phone conversations that never actually took place. With all these issues it's easy to overlook what they did right. The sales team did an excellent job helping us with our floorplan. Initially they were flexible and receptive to changes. Our color consultant did a superb job guiding us through the color selection process, including responding to any questions that we had. Her price estimates were often far off the mark (typically around half the actual quoted price), but that's minor considering how well she handled everything else. In the end, however, the bad far outweighs the good. We almost abandoned the project, in fact. Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and we moved forward with the build, but on an objective scale I have to rate my sales experience a 1 / 5. But if you pull up reviews for any other builder you will find people with the same complaints. So in that sense PJ Burns is no worse than other builders, and the problems noted above are endemic to the building industry itself; not specific to PJ Burns. So for being not worse than any other builder, I'll bump that score up to 2 / 5. The industry as a whole still rates 1 / 5. Seriously guys, it's time to improve. On the other side of the coin is the actual construction process itself. After the nightmarish sales process we were really expecting the worst. Fortunately our fears proved unfounded, as our site supervisor was superb. Unlike our sales rep, he always dealt with us in an honest and forthright manner. Although sometimes difficult to get ahold of, he always made sure to address all of our questions/concerns. When we found things that needed fixing, he fixed them. When he said he'd do something, he did it. Overall the build quality on our home seems very good, and the project was completed in about 14 weeks. Given our awesome supervisor and build quality/speed I'd give the construction process a 4.5 / 5. I'm deducting 0.5 due to the retaining wall that PJ Burns put in. We paid several grand for that thing, and it already looks kind of sad (bowed beams, some poorly made cuts, etc.). Given that it's the end result that matters, I'm giving PJ Burns a "weighted average" score of 4 / 5. That's a bit generous, but at the end of the day if you can suffer through their sales process you'll at least get a very nice house for your trouble. With respect to cost, PJ Burns offers competitive base rates, though many of their upgrade prices seem very inflated. Suffice to say that you can save a good amount of cash by providing your own internal hardware (think toilets, tapware, floor wastes, ceiling fans, appliances, etc.) and/or working out an off-contract deal. As first home buyers who really had no clue about the process, we couldnt have found a better builder. PJ Burns are fantastic from every angle. Communication is of utmost importance to me - And for this PJ Burns gets gold stars all the way. Phone calls and emails are ALWAYS returned, same day. Staff at the head office are always friendly and helpful. We are thrilled with our home and feel thankful that we went through the building process with a minimum of stress (stress caused only by the bank!) I posted my first review in early September prior to the build start. It has now been 10 weeks and we have a completed house. We couldnt be happier. The entire building process has gone smoothly for us. Our Site Supervisor was great - always encouraging us to ask questions and being very flexible in his approach, like nothing was ever a hassle. The tradies on site were always helpful and friendly. They seem to take great pride in their work and have the attitude "do it once and do it properly". There were no great stuff ups like you hear about from other people. It was just a simple process of getting everything done as it should be. Our salesman from the WoodGrove Sales Office - [name censored] - you are a man of your word! Said he would have the contract to us in a week, and he did. Said they would build within the time frame - and they did! Not only that, but they were 2 weeks ahead of our contracted schedule. Dont have any complaints

After talking to so many builders ,decided to go with McCarthy homes,what I likes about them was their speed,and good communications,but compared with other builders they charge me way too expensive ,and the material they used are pretty basic,low quality stuff in toilets and bathrooms,some of them broken after few weeks and their response was they are not withing guarantee of the house and we should get some one to come and fix them up for you.but what I am annoyed is my property was located on a busy road and my main concern was the noise inside and I asked them the first day I want a sound proof house,they built a house according to an acoustic report ,but practically the house has too many noise in it,they should have known and advised me that they should not use light materials to build a property in that location,it should have been built of all brick and metal roof should have never been used,instead they built the house with very light stuff which noise passes easily,I raised the issue with them and they said the nose level is ok and is because it is located on a just a busy road,it not a convincing answer,all my neibours live a noise proof property but not me,basically I just wasted all my money in this property as McCarthy did now know how to built it properly,I plan to complain to BsA

Our build is still continuing, by the time we move in, it will be 12 months since we signed the contract. Do not assume that if you know exactly what you want, you send back all documents that require your signature the next day and any descions required are made straightaway, that you will avoid unnecessary delays. As soon as the contract is signed don't expect to feel like you are a priority, a valued customer or in any way important to McCarthys. If you don't mind additional unexpected costs, living in rented housing for 12 months with all your posessions in boxes and paying rent and mortgage at the same time, whilst you see others moving into their houses in less than half the time, then McCarthy's is the builder for you. I hope that when we finally move in that I will be able to say it was worth it and that we have a quality product, but I suspect it will take some time for my health to recover from the stress of what the combination of McCarthys and Homeside lending have done to my health. But that's another story... Excellent pre-contract, sales guy was very helpful, helped us to design a be-spoke home to suit our sloping block, he came out to view several blocks for us, before we found one to suit our needs. Very helpful staff at Majer Tiles, offered advice on style and colour selection added real value to the experience. Once the build (finally) commences construction staff are polite and helpful and the progress is good. Administration delays, particularly in the drawing office (over 4 months to get council approved plans, we sent all documents back within 24 hours of receiving them, the delays were all from McCarthy, any amendments to drawings take around 3 weeks to come back, even if they have made the error eg by putting the wrong lot number on the drawings, we were told your drawings then go to the back of the queue and you have to wait again. Selections booklet given to us prior to selection meeting was useless - there was a totally new product range of fittings to choose from and prices were not available for the majority of them. 'Free interior design service' was none existent -the interior designer showed us the range available and entered our choices, no help or advice was given, no value added to the process from the designer. Meeting started at 8.30am and ended at around 4pm, we were told we would be given lunch - we had to ask at 2.30pm for something to eat. Electrical contractors - had to take a day off work to go and see them at Caloundra, they are not electricians and are not able to offer any practical advice. We are in a Telstra Smart community and have particular cabling requirements for TV, Data, phone etc they were not able to offer any other type of cabling, basically all they could do was lights and sockets, whole experience was a waste of time, we have had more assistance from the staff in the lighting stores. We were told we would have to have structured cabling, at an extra $3000+ but the guy selling it to us, had no idea of the type of wiring required or what it would enable us to do. We organised our own guy, who had done this type of wiring before. Contract and Variation sheet, every time a quote is required it goes on the variation sheet, if you don’t like the price, it is then subtracted on a subsequent variation sheet, from whichever stage payment claim it is applicable to, so you have negative and positive variations at each stage claim, by the time you are at build stage, it becomes increasingly difficult to understand. Payment terms of 5 days from the date of the invoice for stage claims are beyond the capability of our bank, particularly if a valuation is required. Extra unexpected costs added to the contract

Appalling communication and transparency, change things to suit them without consultation and to top it off completely unhelpful. They are more interested in building what they want than what you want, so unless you're an experienced builder to pick up on things they've changed without telling you don't bother. They made mistakes and then executive decisions on our behalf that would have completely ruined our build. Took six months of fighting to prove they'd made a big mistake, absolutely no apology was made. Lots of hidden costs and forced upgrades that no other house in the neighbourhood was forced to do. Managing Director is not contactable, doesn't matter how bad things get staff won't let you speak to him. At handover I was asked if I wanted to complete an online review for a $200 VISA gift card. I completed my 1 star review while I waited and handed the computer back to the girl who saw the rating and proceeded to tell me she could only give me the card if the review was 3 star or higher and would I reconsider my review to a 3 star so she could give me the card. When I said no the review was cancelled and was told my review couldn't be submit it. Do not waste your time and hard earned money on this company, this house will forever be a reminder of the worst two years of our life.

Now we have a final build, we are happy with the home, and with the finishes.

I've been using GapCap for over a year now and they have proved to be a great asset to our business. As most business owners will know, you can spend a lot of time chasing late payments and this can be time consuming as well as stressful when the bills wont wait, using GapCap allows us to get 80% of the money owed to us upfront / on delivery meaning less disruption to our cashflow. The team are very helpful and I've even got my account manager Tom on WhatsApp and he replies day and night. It is surprising why not all of the hosting is with no contracts, after all how can you commit to a year's worth of hosting. Anyway - this made it really easy to start. I have transferred our business blog domain to gazelle. the .net renewal is just under $10 and after I figured our what an EPP code is the transfer was on the way. (by the way it is the code you get from the existing registrar to be able to transfer) Anyway, once setup, I was easily able to log into the control panel and use a one-click wordpress. This was actually as easy as promised, so I am pretty happy with that. It will probably take me some time to use all the options I get with the hosting and I wish there were more tutorials on the site, but maybe I am just not clued in enough. I needed some help with setting up my email in outlook and sent a request, I received a response in less than 30 minutes, which is a big change from what we used to get. Rob was the customer service person and was able to help. I can definitely recommend this company. I have been using GCEN to transfer money from the UK to Spain since 2009. For a couple of years, the transfer was very slow and would sometimes take up to 12 days. Since then, the service has improved considerably and the transfer now takes about 2-3 days. The exchange rate is very good compared to other currency exchange companies and the rate increases between GBP1-5k. Once your account is open, the process is very simple and takes a few minutes online.There is a limit on how much can be purchased online because of money laundering regulations. I would definitely recommend them.

We found House and Home sitters online through Google and contacted Dave Price about a 15 day house sitter for our two Maine Coons (Roxie & Wesley) while we were away for our Honeymoon. Dave was helpful and responded quickly to help find us a house sitter right away. Even though there were complications with the first house sitter, Dave made sure another sitter could stay and ensured we had an amazing Honeymoon. We were assigned Rita and John and we had a telephone introduction with them first before we met them again on the day before we flew away. They were very friendly and were happy to keep in contact with us via WhatsApp so that we could see how they were getting along while we were away. It was nice to see that Rita and John were both looking forward to caring for our two cats. When we returned, the house was left clean and tidy, so we could get back into a normal routine straight away. It was reassuring having someone at home caring for our cats and the house. Regular updates meant we could focus on enjoying our honeymoon without any worries. If we do plan on having another holiday away, we'd certainly return to Dave Price for another home sitter. We were connected via HSM with a home owner in Estepona, just outside Marbella, Spain, for a sit in November 2018. I cannot speak highly enough of the HSM team (especially Lamia Walker) for their hands-on approach ensuring that both sides (home owner and sitter) have absolute confidence about the entire process. We loved getting to spend time in a gorgeous villa a short drive to beaches and charming towns. The pets - two adorable little dogs - made the sit even better! Getting us up for their morning walks, cuddling when we had down-time, and urging us out for an evening stroll enhanced the sit. Our experience with home owners via HSM has always been good: in this instance we also had a wonderful time getting to know the owner and her partner, who made us not only feel welcomed, but were great fun to spend time with just before they left and on their return. I'm looking forward to our next sit!

We have just come back from a super family housesit in Alicante/Spain. From start to finish Housesit Match were a pleasure to liaise with, Lamia has a wealth of knowledge and as first time house-sitters gave us lots of very useful advice, hints and tips. The property we stayed in more than met our expectations and the children were fully entertained with a swimming pool complete with inflatables, board games, fab outside area and a pool table under the veranda. The home owners left really good instructions on their departure so we were fully confident with how to look after the pets (X2 dogs and X2 cats) and how we needed to maintain the pool. The location of our housesit was in a great position as lots of beaches to choose from along with a vast range of supermarkets where we shopped for our nightly family barbi's. Our children loved the pets and enjoyed the jobs that these entailed, feeding, loving and making sure there was ice in the dog’s water etc. All in all a great break, we would definitely use Housesit Match again due to the personal service that was provided and the range of properties that we could choose from. A five star service!

Although I had been doing amateur photography for about 5 years, I had never actually done a qualification or been taught so thought I'd give it a shot with the good value for money on groupon. The course was excellent. Although some aspects I was aware of, there were loads of other stuff I didn't know at all and probably never would have if it wasn't for this course. Easy to understand but not too basic to be bored. The tutors get back in touch with you within a day and give constructive feedback on your photos. The tests at the end of each module were a good idea. With a 98% completion rate, I'm extremely happy and would highly recommend anyone to give this a go. :)

I've been using Irazoo off and on for several years. The site has always been fairly average to me but it was trustworthy and has always paid. However, recent prizes have been delayed for well past the 30 day maximum wait time. Yet they keep sending out codes and carrying on as though nothing is wrong. They want us to go to their site and earn them money by completing offers but don't seem very concerned about paying out these days. When I contacted them about the delayed prizes they used stalling tactics. They did respond but I have yet to receive my overdue prizes. I am not alone in this. I have contacted some of my referrals and they also have the same issues with pending redemption's and no real help from support. I currently would not recommend this site and have stopped using it until issues are resolved. I will suggest to my referrals they may wish to do the same. I do want to mention that they sent a recent email about new management a week or two ago. Even if something happened within the company keeping users happy and paying them their earnings should be a priority. The support I have received tells me they feel differently.

I also completed the ABBE Level 4 course in building thermography with James Hill recently but cannot agree fully with all his sentiments unfortunately. This course is extremely time-heavy, a fact that was not made clear before we paid for the course. Parts of the course material are technically flawed and overall it is limited. Learners are expected to undergo various examinations without very much at all to go on. The marriage between the initial 4-5 day training days, the iRed Handbook, the course submissions, including numerous surveys, and the examinations is poor imo - it is broken and does not work. I have tried to give my constructive feedback to iRed & indeed ABBE in this respect on a number of occasions now. Do not expect to qualify for at least one year. It is a shame, as on paper, this is a good course. I cannot recommend that any building thermographers should take this course - ITC Cat 1 or Cat 2 is much better in terms of timings, course material and examination preparations. My review, which is meant as honest feedback, does not in any way reflect negatively on my course instructor, Bruce Arnold, or indeed any other course that iRed may provide.

There were 10 of us hiking together during the first week of May in 2019. The response I received from all our friends after the hike was how everything from transportation, lodging, communication, and the hiking went without a hitch. We have never been on a trip where everyone from Maurice to the drivers and the owners of of our accomodations we stayed in, were so accommodating and quick to respond to our needs. Maurice in particular, prior to our trip was quick to respond to some of our unusual transportation changes we needed to make throughout our trip . He also assisted us in changes we needed to make during our trip due to a few of our travelers not able to complete a few legs of the hike. The response time and solutions, were completed in most cases less than 1 hour. That was amazing. We have never in all our holidays been treated so well. The hike itself was above what we had expected . Beautiful countryside, great views and just enough challenges to let you know you were actually hiking and earned your Guinness at the pub at the end of the day. The Wild Atlantic Way Hike is not to be missed. Thank you for making our Holiday a memory we will never forget

I bought an orange reflective safety raincoat from ISC Online more than one year ago, and I was treated well as a customer. I received many positive remarks from coworkers about the raincoat and it was eventually stolen, which is another effective but awkward indicator of it's value. When I bought an identical raincoat to replace the stolen one, the price had actually come down. I am very happy with ISC Online, and thank you. There is nowhere to get these safety raincoats locally that I am aware of.

Rehan arrived perfectly on the time he said he would be there. He was very welll mannered and respected my house upon arrival until he left. He talked me through what was best and the perfect positioning of the cameras. I opted for 3 x 1080p dome cameras. His work was very efficient and very neat and tidy. When the installation was completed he took time to thoroughly go through how to use the Hik Vision box also installing the application to my phone. Overall I’m delighted I opted to use IseeU CCTV. The camera quality and work is worth every penny. I’d highly recommend anyone to use this company if thinking of getting and CCTV done for either your home or business. I have made some good friends working here and have also managed to be part of something special. There are not many companies out there bringing products to the market that are so ground breaking within their niche and I'm proud to have been part of that journey. And there is so much more in the pipeline, it's truly amazing to see these ideas come into fruition in the form of physical products. I've not experienced this before! It's a very welcoming environment at iStorage and teamwork is key. I have faith and know I can rely on my colleagues support if required and they can rely on me. I am expected to work hard, much the same as any other workplace but I can say it makes it a damn sight easier when you buy into the dream.
