I am from Switzerland, and last December 2007 I ordered 2 Bibles from World Retail Store, an edition difficult to find(Spanish/English bilingual version), and they supposely have them. They charged my VISA credit card on the 27/12/2007 with 82.00 AUD, but I have not received the books yet, nor they responded to my emails/faxes/telephone calls. How is it possible that this website and this company still exist, being the fact that so many people already complained?

My present experience with this vendor rates as the worst experience I have ever had with any vendor. They apparently shipped my order to the wrong address, have been generally unhelpful on the phone, and have failed to return my calls when I've left voicemail messages. I intend to update this review once I have either received the item I paid for, received a refund, or gone through the dispute process with my credit card company. I simply wanted to write this review now as a warning to those who might consider using this vendor. Edited to add: It's been a while since my order with this merchant, but my recollection was that they eventually reversed the charges on my credit card, so I didn't have to initiate a credit card dispute. Still, I will not use this reseller again.

They live up to their name Ratings ALWAYS LOWEST, DO not purchase from these guys, got a PC non functional returned it and 3 weeks later after they received it they had no idea what was going on and they never sent a replacement or issued a credit, had to contact my Credit card Co to solve this issue.

GameFly is ok except for when you're wanting newer and/or popular games .At the beginning of my subscription it certainly was a better even possibly cheaper,the 14 day starter trial obviously makes your 1st month a much more cost effective way of attaining games . again not on new titles and the only way to have a new game would be to put it on your wishlist and wait it out which made it frustrating to me because if I had the 2 disc out at once subscription option and really wanted to get a new title it left me with only 1 game to play while putting a new one on what I wanted next . If you subscribe to Gf only way it makes sense is having 3 disc outat once option hence 2 games out put me in situation where I have nothing to play if a new game was on my Wishlist and sent 2nd title back ,sure they were good on Expediting shipping fast but not that good I could be left five days possibly seven days without anything to play. To me this expense of subscribing left my budget too low to maybe buy a new game even older titles for owning my own games on top of the account with GF. I invest 100$ yearly with Amazon Prime since canceling GameFly and this is a better way of attaining my own games to own. More often than not A few months after games get released you can find them significantly cheaper on Amazon.com also if you want to play a game title that was released r least six months possibly eight months earlier you can find them from 10 to $20 also Prime sellers are everywhere which is cool because I'll get a game with 2 day shipping (included for Prime members/FREE) MY opinion for having good games to play that keeps me busy with always having something to play with the added bonus of the game being owned by me...also all the games are new too ... You can buy used too but I don't. Thanks for reading )

Bought Hartblei 65/3.5 tilt&shift lens there. It came with chipping of paint and uneven diaphragm. Returned for exchange. Exchange lens had very loose shift ring, horrible flaring and non-existing sharpness and contrast. Returned. Got refund, but he charged me for shipping of two broken lenses in row and I paid for returning of those lenses in addition. Really hard to reach over email - had to threaten him with fraud claim to get an answer. Described the whole story in forum for 1-series canon cameras on robgalbraith.com (use search for word kievcamera). And he didn't give me an invoice!

This was my third transaction with Kiev Camera and I am very satisfied with all. Mike Fourman has been helpful and quick to respond to emails. I sent him my Kiev 88 for shutter repairs and it was sent to KIev, Ukraine. I received it today and the packing was superb, wrapped in packing material in a small box which was packed in a larger box, again surrounded by packing material. I have spoken with him on the phone and via email and had no communication problems. My camera is now in excellent shape and I am about to order a back for it from Mike. I also bought a 16mm lens from him and a shirt as a present to my brother in law. When I told Mike that his party was on Sunday ( this was Friday) he sent the package overnight for no extra charge. I will continue to do business with him, he makes it a pleasure to do so. Michael I am still delighted with the camera.The shutter sounds right and cocks as it should. I couldn't have got better service.

I will NEVER purchase from this dealer again!! I ordered a videocam for my son for Christmas, but called to confirm it was in stock and could get it delivered in plenty of time for Christmas. I assumed, since I ordered in late November, there should be no problems getting what I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas, but I wanted to make sure. They said yes, it was in stock and it would be delivered in 3 days after my order. I ordered on or around 11/29/2004, and paid for 3-day shipping. The shipment didn’t arrive until over a week later. And, they delivered the wrong model number. Plus, the invoice was for $20 more than they said the total order (including shipping/handling and all other miscellaneous charges) would be. And, it did not include a 5-pack of video tapes I was promised as a bonus. I called BCW Networks and was told to return the incorrect model and they would immediately ship the right model. I did; they didn't. In fact, when I called for 5 straight days (12/20-24/2004) to get a tracking number for the replacement order, they told me they were sure it had shipped but they couldn't give me the exact ship date or the tracking number because they said their "computer system was down." Finally, on Dec. 24th, my father called them to find out what was going on. After getting the same runaround I had been getting, he asked to speak to the manager in charge. After some obvious attempts by the person with whom he had been speaking (who said she was the assistant manager) to persuade him to be satisfied with the answers he was getting, he insisted and was, then, permitted to speak with a gentleman who said he was the manager on duty. The manager told my father the videocam was shipped either the previous Monday (12/20) or Tuesday (12/21) or, perhaps, late the previous week, but since their computer system was being upgraded right then, he could not give me a tracking number. He blamed the failed pre-Christmas delivery on the massive weather related delays UPS had announced. When my father asked what had caused the two week delay in BCW Networks' shipping the correct videocam (since we had returned the wrong model number they had shipped earlier on 12/10, and they received it on 12/13), the manager had no answer. He did say he knew that sometime the previous week (week-ending 12/18) BCW had received a large shipment of the model I had ordered and they had shipped a large quantity out around the 20th. My father asked if the sales clerks I spoke with had lied about the availability of the product when I originally place my order 11/29), as well as when I had called earlier to inquire about what to do with the incorrect model they had shipped (around 12/9), and my replacement order (12/20 and the follwing 4 days), and the manager's response was that they don’t usually take the time to check, they just say it is in stock, since it usually is. The manager said, since the delay in my shipment was due to the weather and UPS had announced that they would be working around the clock to get all shipments completed by 12/27, if they were scheduled for pre-Christmas delivery, he could guarantee the videocam would be delivered by Monday, 12/27/2004. He did agree to send me a 256 MB memory card and some extra tapes for the videocam, to help compensate for the delay. Today is Monday, 12/27/2004. On the BCW Networks web page, I can now see the status of my order. It says it was shipped at 12:59:00 PM EST, on 12/24/2004. This is approximately the same time my father was talking with the manager. And, although the manager said he could guarantee the videocam would be delivered on Monday, that doesn’t seem possible. The order was shipped “UPS 3-Day", for delivery on 12/30!! And the UPS tracking system indicates it is on time for scheduled deliver on the 30th. So, the manager and all the other BCW Networks employees we spoke with, who told us the videocam was in stock, had shipped or would ship in time for me to receive it before Christmas, apparently lied about the order, their inventory and when the videocam was actually shipped. I will update this review after I receive the correct videocam and accessories, and have made every attempt to get proper adjustments for the shipping costs (I paid $30.18) for the first 3-day delivery that took over a week to get), the $20 over charge and satisfactory compensation for all the trouble I have had to go through to get the videocam for my son, who was very disappointed because instead of taking video of our Christmas celebration, all he could do was stare at a lifeless picture of a camera he hopes to receive, someday.

I have 4 to 5 years experience buying things on internet. I never have any problem buying on internet before. This is my Second case March 28. *First case is with Pricemad.com March 21* I order the Plasma TV Pioneer PDP-4340HD from bcwnetworks.com on March 25. I used Pricescan.com to search the lowest price, at that time the Plasma TV was $2499. When I click on bcwnetworks.com the Price is $2699. Before I placed the order on the internet. I called them to make sure they have it instock and I also ask them after I placed the order on internet when they will ship out. They told me they will ship out in 2 business days. Then I placed the order immediately on the website Total $2,898. I also called them to verify my order and they said will ship out on Monday March 28. Monday March 28 I called them again to get the tracking number for my order. They said will ship out on Monday and will send a email to me for the tracking number. BUT I never receive any emails from them. Tuesday March 29 I called them again to get the tracking number for my order. They said will ship out today and will send a email to me for the tracking number. BUT I never receive any emails from them. Wednesday March 30, I called them again this time but not talking with the sale department, I choose the customer service. and I asked her what's going on for my order. I told her before I place the order I have already called them to confirm they have the Plasma Instock. She told me the Plasma was backorder and she has no idea why the sales told me it was instock. and give me another ext. number to call them tomorrow, he will know more than her. Then I called again on Thursday to that ext. That person is yelling at me , he said "Sorry make the mistake the tv was sold out , and cancel the order for me and I am busy and got to go". Then I ask him if it was sold out how come I just call and ask it is still available and tell me to order it. He said is the computer error, the TV is out of stock , WHAT DO YOU WANT !!! I told him I will file to BBB online, your company is lying to the customer because you guys want to get the buyer credit card information. HE SAID YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE THIS IS AMERICA , YOU HAVE THE FREEDOM TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!! I feel the Pricemad.com and bcwnetworks.com, both of them just steal your credit card info. AND won't sell anything to you.

Purchased a 500GB Seagate HD in an a USB2.0 external enclosure. It arrived on time and reletively well packed. Less than 30 days after purchase, the USB header on the enclosure developed problems. No computer I plugged it in to could read or write to the drive over USB. I contacted MemoryExpoUSA, explained the situation and they sent me an RMA number. The RMA process went smoothly and I now have a working enclosure again. My experience with this store has been good, and I will consider them again if I am in need.

Stay away from them. I ordered 8 IBM Fiber Hard Drives Dual Channel from them waited a few weeks to install due to scheduling downtime and when I installed them they were all single channel drives. I went back to my AMEX and BBB with no positive results after Server Supply would not answer back. Server Supply would not return even though the part number on the box did not match the part number on the hard drive. Run away from any good deal you think you are getting here.

I ordered a Seagate Barracuda ES.2 drive for our server--found ServerSupply.com from a link on PriceWatch.com. The drive just arrived today, and it's a reconditioned drive, which was never stated on PriceWatch or their site. I called them to complain, and they said if you click the "Item Details" link, you can see at the bottom that it says "CONDITION : SYSTEM PULL CLEAN TESTED" Problem is, they show a photo of a NEW hard drive, and never mention that it's used unless you happen to click the tiny item details link on this page: https://www.serversupply.com/products/part_search/search_parts.asp?q=ST31000340NS I do this kind of stuff for a living, so I'm no dummy when it comes to shopping and ordering online. They're obviously trying to hide the fact that they're selling used drives, and I told them so. They would only refund my money if I paid to ship the drive back to them. What a pile of poop!

I ordered a DVD of the Little Mermaid for a Christmas Gift. After waiting for 10 days I attempted to reach this company by e-mail as directed. They have not responded to any of the three e-mails sent, but the charge for the movie is already on my credit card. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE unless you want to pay for items you don't receive.They use a billing outfit who generates a canned message when you try to protest the bill telling you to contact discount movie sales, but they never respond. Avoid this outfit at all costs!!!!!!!!!

I emailed the owner of the discountmovie.net domain with no response. I haven't received my credit card bill yet, but it will be interesting when I fight the charges. STAY AWAY! My e-mail order was answered telling me that by phoning 888 - 915 - 2600 I would get a better price. NOT TRUE. I ordered these items from a person by the name of Brian. His first action was to switch me to a "Canon" product. When this did not work he sold me "high speed cards" which did not exist. I was quoted a price of $ 1199.99 US. After I received my Bank statement the amount was $ 1334.00. The order was to be shipped within 3 business days - it was not. I was given a Fedex tracking number which did not exist. I was told by the manager that it was a Fedex problem - Not true. The items were not shipped until January 21.05. The original order number was changed by Digital to another. On January 13. 05 I got an e-mail from Digital advising me "The order has been shipped" giving me the tracking number 696888272615. This was not true. Fedex did not have a record of this shipment. The sales manager - Sol Haber - assured me that he packed the parcel himself! The shipment never left their premises until January 21.05. My phone calls to several persons were answered by giving misleading information. A person by the name of Tiffany told me that the items were on backorder (even so the sales manger said that he sent it himself). On January 24. 05 in the afternoon I got a Call from person by the name of "Victor" who told me that the parcel has been shipped. When I questioned the unethical behaviour of his firm, he told me that I must have had the wrong tracking number. Another lie. I had to get in touch with the BBB in Manhattan and enlisted the services of the legal department of the Credit card company and finally DigitalPhotoHQ refunded $ 161.12 CA. This company has used every trick to cheat me. Every statement they made was either misleading or gravely mistaken. They used to advertise on NexTag - they are no longer listed. Because of limited space I will only concern myself with the most important items. This company should not be allowed to function if they are not willing to operate in a reasonable,generally accepted standard of business practices. My advice to anyone - stay away from these people. Some one of DigitalPhotoHQ disputed someones claim that they would not switch customers orders. This is an outright lie. Where to start ... I placed an order for a Panasonic Lumix FZ-20 on 2-17-05 (Thursday) around 4pm. Since it said that it can take up to 3 days to ship the item, I wasn't expecting it to ship until Tuesday at the latest ... and plus, for the price ($450 compared to $600 at other places) I was a little lenient. When I didn't hear anything from them, I emailed their customer service and haven't heard anything back since, then I called them ... WOW, what a quick trip to a dead end. Out of the ~50 times I called them, I got a human twice, the other ~48 times ended up me having to hang up because no one would answer the phones. The first time I got a human, I asked to speak to the manager, ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE ... he transferred me to the managers voice mail. I left him a message and haven't heard back since. After many more phone calls, I got another human (who picked up the OPERATOR line) and he said he was the "manager" for the day, since the real manager was out. After arguing with this "manager" for 5 minutes (which by the way was rude and mean the entire time) I quoted what they sent me when I purchased the camera "www.digitalphotohq.com was designed around the customer" or something like that. And went on for another minute or so. He was finally quiet and I thought I was getting through ... just then he said, "ok sir, have a nice day" and hung up. Shortly after that I get a cancelation email. I'm glad these guys didn't charge my credit card, but this was the worst online purchase experience I have ever had. WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!!

I purchased two Coleco to USB chips and one worked for three days, I've emailed them on three seperate occasions in a two week period trying to get an RMA or anything as to replace it and get no reponse. The Chip does what is advertised but very poorly, most button register as other due to the unique makeup of coleco controllers. I would avoid this seller until he get's his act together, this is no way to run a business. I am the customer, he got the money and I'm stuck without a second working unit.

I have purchased pretty much every NES game this guy has ever put out and have not once EVER had a single problem with him. Orders have always been shipped very quickly and I've never had any issues with any of them. The one time I did get a game that wasn't working I shipped it back to him (he reimbursed me for shipping) and replaced the game immediately with no questions asked and no hassle at all.

Order placed Nov 18th received on Nov 30th (Windows XP Home Edition). When Customer Support contacted (only available by email or sporadic 'live chat'), they did not take my order number, but assured me product was 'delayed in the mail'. When I replied, how can you tell me it's in the mail when you didn't ask my name or order number, the live chat replied, why am I being so uncooperative. When asked for tracking number, was told 'server is down'. When finally received today, postmarked indicates it was mailed on the 28th, the day after I called to complain. If customer support had simply told me it was back ordered, I would have been unhappy, but satisfied. By lying to me, I would never do business with this company again

We bought a Memory Foam Mattress for $529.00 plus shipping.When it arrived it had a very strong chemical odor.After letting it air out for a month the odor was still so strong that it could not be used.We contacted Gadget Universe and ask for a refund.They refused.They offered a store credit if we would pay to ship it back to them. We believe they sold us a defective product and refused to make good on it.We strongly recommend not doing business with this company.

I made two orders on what I believed were "sale" prices: 1. My First order was for the "Dunn Horitzon Pilot" on sale for $29.00 (original list price $100.00). They charged me the full amount and not the discounted price as seen on "order status". However, I had made a screen capture of the transaction showing the price at $29.00 2. My second order was for the "flying back dual time automatic" on sale on the website for $69.99. Original price was $199.95. I ordered this online and made a screen capture of the receipt. Then, on going into the "order status" screen, I found that it was invoiced for the higher price. I had to wait till after the weekend to call Gadget Universe- They were not sympathetic till I told them that I had screen captures of the prices. They agreed to refund the difference, but charged me the higher prices anyway. I am still waiting for the refund to show up on my CC. Interaction with the Customer Service employees, was very pleasant, however.

I paid for a year's worth of baskets, and sent the order (with handwritten notes) ahead of the deadline. My son received nothing. No response to email for a few days, so I called. I was told the baskets were a couple of weeks late. Then I was told they were delivered 8/30. THEN I was told they were delivered 9/7. None of these were true. Requested a refund. Will update if I actually receive it. Waste of time and money.

I ordered a Care Package for my brother who is in his first year at college. It was listed as $19.50 and the shipping price was $6.00. I had $25.54 on my debit card, so I knew I was cutting it very close. I check my bank account a couple of days later and find that I was charged $26.77 and my bank charged me a $30 overdraft fee. After several small deposits, and $10 in extended overdraft fees, I finally was back on the plus side. Then there's the fact that I did not receive a confirmation of delivery until about three or four days AFTER they charged my card. And of course, there is no way to track an order even though you have to buy UPS shipping. So I e-mail customer service and ask them about the over charge and they tell me it is because they do not tell you the amount of sales tax you will have to pay (and in my order confirmation, it specifically states "Sales Tax: $0.00"). They asked me to fax over my bank statement to verify the $30 fee I incurred. I don't have a fax machine and I have to take time out of my hectic schedule to go over to a store that offers fax services for $1 per page. So I had to pay $2 to fax over the relevant information. So I e-mail them and tell them that I faxed over the info and I don't hear anything for several days. I e-mailed them again and this time a new person responded, telling me they never received my fax, even though I'm looking at the fax receipt and transaction info right in front of me. They said I had to fax over the stuff AGAIN. I was just contacted today by them and they said they credited my account. I only asked for the original $30 overdraft fee (not the extended overdraft fees) just to get it over with. Of course, they didn't say how much they credited it, so I'll have to wait 3 business days to see for sure. If you order anything from CarePackages.com and your order confirmation shows no sales tax, don't believe it! Also, know that you'll have to pay a lot for shipping and will have no way to track your order. Unacceptable.

There are some things for hunters and campers which don't require verification, but if you need police items, much of it will require proof of employment, which it should, the average joe doesn't need OC spray or a shirt that says POLICE. Prices are good compared to other sites, police stuff is just expensive, thats the way it is. I always find something I want or something I think I need on the site. Shipping is fast and the customer service is top notch. Cant go wrong here.

I recently purchase a Canon TS702 w/ cards & printing tray. As soon as I got it, I tried it, and was unsatisfied with the quality of the printer. I emailed on how do I return. Their website quotes, "Brainstorm ID Supply offers an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee. If at any time within 30 days of receiving your order you are not happy with what you ordered, for any reason at all - you can return it for a full refund." It took 9 days and after I gave a review, they finally responded. Now, I'm being charged a 20% "restocking fee" to return their equipment. Just all around bad business. This has been an horrible experience, I just want to warn other potential customers before you shop and get treated unfairly. *** UPDATE *** So, after explaining to the "Founder" Jonathan Laliberte that the money back guarantee is a contract and since the "restocking fee" is not mentioned in the CONTRACT, I am NOT entitled to it. He threatens me with: not being able to return since it's been opened. Even though their websites GUARANTEES 100% money back if the customer is not satisfied for ANY reason. With the Brainstorm Youtube video on the Canon Inkjet and the use of the J tray, I ordered the printer and jtray. I initially ordered PVC cards from a business vendor and was unable to print to them. I ordered a product that after several weeks was told it was no longer made by the company. This is fine so i was asked if i wanted a refund. I answered yes and to this date - August 21, 2010 - i have not recieved a refund. Many phone calls were made 2 were answered, one told to wait a few more days, 2nd was should be any day now. 5 months later nothing... now no call go answered, live chat - no one available - fax to company demanding my refund has had no results. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - they are scammers. I will be filing with Visa to get my money back on Monday and chalk this one up to a learning experience. Look elsewhere with a repitutable company before you purchase. Feb 2011 - still no refund from this horrible company, still not answering the phone. Its time for the BBB and a lawyer. IM DONE HERE.

I was purchasing a playstation 2 console for my son for Xmas. The site stated that it takes 1-3 weeks for the item to arrive which was fine with me even if it was 3 weeks. I contacted the company to confirm that it was in stock and left a voicemail message for them. I received a call back and was told that it was in stock and would ship within 5 business days. I ordered the following item as listed on thier website. -- 1 X Refurbished Playstation 2 (PS2) Game Console (old model) (SCPH-50001) @ $85.00 = $85.00 After I paid for the item the confirmation email contained the same exact information. After 2 weeks had passed and I received no other contacts I called back and left a message. AGAIN there was no live customer service. FIVE more calls and messages left and no return calls. I sent 3 emails and nothing was returned although I was getting read reciepts for the emails I sent. FIVE weeks after I puchased this item a refurbised playstation arrived. There are deep scratches all over and it does not work. It is also Model 30001 and not 50001 like I purchased. I have been calling and writing email for the last week and a half and they still have not returned any of them. I have taken steps to report them to the internet fraud complaint center (IFCC) and the better business bureau. I am also filing a report with the local police station.

Before I ever placed my order with this company I called ahead and asked their customer service dept what would be required - I had adopted a dog out of state, had on the day of adoption driven back to my own area, and realized after the fact that although the fosters had had her comprehensive medical spay/deworming/heartworm test, etc done, beyond her single initial dose of heartworm preventative, I'd been provided neither a written prescription nor further doses. I let NPP know this, that I would have no logistical way to obtain a written prescription and also stressed that I would be ordering for the first time. Their response? No problem! We'll just fax the vet, they'll fax us right back, done and done! Suffice it to say, a week and dozens of emails/phone calls later, the only thing "done" was my card was charged within 24 hours of placing the order, but a week later I was still getting repeated emails from NPP saying "the vet refused to approve by fax" (an outright lie, as I'd talked to the vet's office multiple times) and "you need to mail in a prescription" - see "called NPP before placing the order to tell them I had no paper prescription". They will not only lie to you about their "policies" but will actually CHARGE your card for orders that haven't even been approved or processed. What reputable company does this? Any reputable company will APPROVE your card but not actually charge until the order ships. This company charged my card, "kept the order open" when I said to do no such thing, and changed their story during my repeated phone calls to them from "you need to mail it in" to "we've gotten the fax back and it's all good and will ship tomorrow plus I'll email you tracking tomorrow when it ships" and then back to "you need to mail it in or nothing will ship".

I placed an order with this company two days ago and paid for 2nd day air and was told that the prescription drug for my dog would ship that day and now I've been told that it will not arrive for 6 days after the order was placed. No one there knows why. No one there cares about you or your pet or their health. They said they would credit my account and reimburse the shipping fee but they don't understand that I need the medicine for my sick dog. Now I've run out of medicine. I have used this company before and it's true that "regular" shipping that you do not pay for takes forever but this is critical. I will NEVER place an order with these people ever again. Good prices are not worth it if you cannot get the product when you need it. Shop elsewhere.

Placed order for only the body of Canon EOS 20D through TCS Camera's website. Recieved no email confirmation. Called their customer service to inquire about this and abushed with a sales pitch for a variety of accessories I did not need. (batteries, memory card, lenses, etc.) Recieved a confirmation number and was told as they hung up that it would be 3-4 weeks till I recieved it. I called them back and asked if it was a US or Foreign warranty, and it turned out to be Foreign. I asked what it would cost for a US body and was told $999. So I asked to change my order. After being put on hold for a few minutes the operator returned and told me it would be $1350. I told them, in that case I wanted to cancel the order. The operator rudely asked my why I kept changing my mind. I told them it was due to the fact that they kept changing their prices. He told me my order was canceled, gave me no confirmation number and abruptly hung up. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PURCHASES. I HAD THE DISTINCT IMPRESSION THEY COULD NOT BE TRUSTED.

Wonderful experience - I had cancelled an order from one the New York City (Brooklyn) crap dealers who took two weeks to process an order only to declare it "lost" by UPS. eTailElectronics, located in North Dakota, not only took the order at 3:30PM in the afternoon, they guaranteed next day air delivery. Low and behold the next day the UPS truck rolled up my driveway and their it was. To top it off, the unit was delivered from of all places - BROOKLYN!! After having a terrible experience trying to buy an espresso maker from a different online retailer, I called etailelectronics.com to verify that they actually had the model I wanted in stock. The woman who helped me was very nice, and indicated that they had one more in stock. So on December 21, 2005, I ordered a DeLonghi EC140B Espresso/Cappuccino Maker. I received an order confirmation e-mail very quickly, and my order was shipped out the same day. It was delivered on time with no problems. They didn’t have the absolute best price and their website could use some work, but the customer service that I got and the extremely fast shipping more than made up for it. I am very satisfied with this vendor and would do business with them again.

I ordered 3 items from this company on Sunday, December 18. At the time, they had Holiday shipping details clearly identified on their website. It said orders placed by 10:00 a.m. (or 11:00 a.m. - can't remember which) on Monday the 19th were guaranteed delivery before Christmas with standard shipping. There were other details for order deadlines for guaranteed Christmas delivery for 2nd day and overnight shipping. I placed the order with standard shipping. On Tuesday the 20th, I checked the order online and it said it was processing and stated one of the items was backordered. I called customer service and was told that my order was in the warehouse and was being prepared for shipping. "Maybe the item is now backordered", the customer service rep. theorized, but she assured me they had all of my items. I then asked about receiving it by Christmas, as it should have shipped Monday morning for standard shipping to make it in time, and it was now Tuesday afternoon. She said that they were backed up, and that that when they finally got around to shipping my order, they would upgrade the shipping to whatever means necessary to get it to me by Christmas. "If you placed your order by the Monday deadline", she said, "and you did, you will get it before Christmas". Thursday I received an email confirming my order had shipped and a tracking number was provided. I checked the tracking and found that it was SHIPPED GROUND! Estimated Delivery DECEMBER 27!!! I called and was told there was nothing they could do to get the items to me by Christmas. This was esecially critical for me because I was travelling during the holidays and was having the items shipped to where I would be through Christmas - not after. So I had to have the box shipped to me, and then ship the individual items to the people that I had no present for on Christmas. All they offered was to refund my shipping, which they did. To top it all off, they overcharged my credit card by $10. Three emails and two weeks later, I finally received a credit for $10. The reason it took three emails is that the address that their communications come from "[email protected]" doesn't work to send emails to. So don't reply. You apparently have to send it to "[email protected]", which I only found after getting no response. I won't order from them again.

I ordered 2 items on September 25th and was told the items would be delivered October 1 to 3, then it was delayed 4 more times and I was told October 15th. When I emailed them to find out why a Birthday gift would not be arriving by the date that they had originally said, I was told they were moving warehouses. Spilsbury should not be selling items if they cannot fulfill them as promised and not mislead customers. Will not shop with them again. So disappointed!

Now one week past the 72 hr period and guess what? No refund. Back to leaving voice messages and emails. This company has a "gimmick" of awarding "Loyalty Points" (worth in-store credit on future purchases) for each order over a certain amount of $. If my experience has been typical of the average customer of giftandcollectibles.com, they'll need to hand out "Loyalty Points" by the millions if they hope to KEEP, let alone attract, customers.

Difficult to order by part number or otherwise, but far easier than ANY other site on the Internet. Admittedly, I may have been looking for rare parts, but they shouldn't be so difficult to find. Blame Brembo? Most likely. But that would assume they really don't want to sell replacement parts for their big brake kits, and that seems a bit much. I found all sites difficult to use, but this site is the only site that proved to be manageable. In fact, it was easy to find the pads I need after I found the rotors. In addition, they also appear to have the best prices.

On September 1st I placed an order with them for three items totaling $351 with 3 day ups express shipping. I received one item within the 3 days however the main item, an injen powerflow cold air intake for my truck is nowhere to be found and it's been over two weeks since I placed my order. I've emailed them and they have failed to respond and their website doesn't provide any tracking numbers although they provided one for the one item that I did receive after I contacted them and requested a tracking number which they provided after ups delivered it. I got a confirmation right away and then a few hours later received a call to let me know that he didn't really have anymore in stock. I was disappointed that he didn't have what I was after but at least he got back to me right away so I wasn't left hanging. I am assuming his website just wasn't processing inventory in realtime or possibly this was due to human error. I was impressed by how fast he got in touch with me and would say this company is probably good to do business with. I did get the best available price on the Sony Handycam DCR-DVD403 Camcorder; even got free shipping after I screamed about delay. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS MERCHANT unless you're VERY patient & very TENACIOUS. They do not communicate at all so I ended up phoning 4 times, listening to fairy tales like "it's being drop shipped from Sony, that's how we sell it so cheap." When it arrive, nearly 6 weeks after placing order, it was shipped from the merchant in Brooklyn, NY. Sony doesn't drop ship for any merchant. There are 2 things I believe: 1) Had I ordered some of the high-priced accessories they offered I would have gotten my item sooner and 2) Only because I kept phoning them repeatedly did I get it at all.

**** August 6, 2009 Update **** I'm updating this review 4 1/2 years after my original purchase because it seems my dispute with this company is finally resolved. Out of the blue, I received a phone call from Charlie in customer service informing me that Jewelry Central had been bought by another company. They were going through their records and came upon my file and this review; or perhaps vice versa, I'm not sure. At any rate, they offered to complete my refund and promptly sent me a check in the mail. I was completely pleased and surprised by this, and was grateful that someone there was trying to make up for a past mistake. I trust the new owners to put more attention to customer service and believe they deserve a second chance. Thanks go out to Charlie and the rest of the customer service team for making things right after all these years. Based upon the date they charged my credit card and the delivery date, I believe they shipped on the 10th day via USPS. 2) I requested a cancel if they couldn’t ship by the 5th day. They shipped late anyway. 3) They shipped to the wrong address. 4) They kept $20 of my money because of items 1-3. The details of my experience: (Removed. It's been over four years. They made things right. No need for the gory details any longer.)

i ordered form them once before. the first time i ordered it was two pairs of eyeglasses. took me a month to receive the first pair...(i was very happy with the galsses). took 3 months for the second pair to arrive(but the glasses where awsome)....so i ordered one more time....3 pairs this time.....but they do not answer my emails...and have disconnected their phone...so i don't even know if they are still around...but they did charge my visa.

I ordered four pairs it took two months to get three of them. I still have not received the fourth pair, nor does anyone answer my emails (there is no longer a phone number associated with this outfit). I would never order from them again.

I got served this morning by a Federal process server! Can you believe she is suing me? I did not write all that stuff I referenced, so I can't be held liable. I guess she does live in Bradenton because I have to hire a Federal lawyer in Tampa, any lawyers here said they cannot fight a case in another state. They told me it would be cheaper to pay her than to hire a lawyer there. They also told me truth is only a defense if what was said is true. How do I know what's true or not? I did get my money back on the flavor, but that is not what I being sued for. I'm being sued for "proffering" libel, defamation and something too long for me to spell. Anyway, e-mail me if anyone here gets served too! Maybe we can team up on a lawyer. There are a few names here of people the lawsuit says posted false web stuff. I probably should not list names here. E-Mail me and I will gladly give you the names on this thing listed with me. Let me know! I am not paying her a penny.

Deborah of Mabel White is an author of many books I have bought over the years from Mabel White Home Living. Thanks to Deborah,(who would personally return my calls or e-mails most of the time) - I know how to make soap, lotion, lip balm and many other natural things for my family. I have since started my own all natural skin care line thanks to Mabel White. I could not make such a pure product without her patented Emulsoy which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I also follow her work on a monthly basis. Over the last ten years, the Mabel White site never has ads, pop ups or spam and I find that refreshing also. I recently placed an order as I am making a batch of lotion and I am very happy with it. She does have new marketing buzz out about a new book I am buying when Amazon's Kindle posts it and a new RSS feed out - just announced I am subscribing too. The phone number I use that I have had for almost ten years is 941-447-7985. I am HAPPY to prove a purchase I just made to Reseller ratings if need be, because apparently people can get on here to hurt other people for reasons not having to do with real business at all and not have bought a thing. Deborah of Mabel White has been honest and a wonderful vendor to work with.

I recently ordered from this company and it went well as far as I'm concerned. DS Mod was exactly as shown on the site. It took a bit longer than I expected because I didnt realize it shipped from Canada. Probably sat in customs for an entire week on some over paid slobs desk. other than that they were very promt in responding to my email. Would do business with again but would have more patience in delivery time. Good prices as well.

Not sure what to do here.....I placed an order with PS2Cover on the 3rd of March 2008... they have never taken the money from my card, nor have there been any fraudy withdrawls, nor have I rec'd my product!!! I have sent 10+ emails so far and have gotten no response. Does anyone know if they are even still in business?? I was referred to an email address [email protected] when I pretended to pay using paypal. I sent an email there just now and will wait to see what happens. Ordered a $244.00 circuit board for a furnace 3 weeks ago and still have yet to receive it. I called, I emailed, and have not received any response whatsoever. I was never given a way to track shipping either - and now no way to get a refund because "Dave" wont respond. I DID get an email receipt showing that he took my $244.00....... Should have followed my instincts - any website that sells stuff that doesn't have a toll-free # is usually not a good idea - case in point.

I ordered a CD from this company and was told it would ship that day. The sales rep said that while it could take 7 days to receive, he suspected it may make in 3 days since we were located in adjacent states. After 10 days, I contacted the company (speaking to the same rep) and was told the order hadn't shipped. ***UNBELIEVABLE*** I told the rep to cancel the order, but was informed he couldn't because the paper-work was too far along. He also couldn't provide a shipping date because it was under a lot of 'stuff' on the loading dock. Thank goodness my credit card company put a hold on the transaction. Avoid this company.

I ordered a John Mayer CD and book from his website...AKA MusicToday. The book arrived, no problem. After a few weeks the CD still did not. I emailed MusicToday and received a reply apologizing and saying it was still "waiting allocation in the warehouse". After a couple weeks...I called and the rep found that the CD had been out of stock and my PayPal transaction had expired. The rep apologized and reordered the CD via a credit card and said she would send it out 2 day shipping to make up for the issue. I can accept this although to just leave a customer hanging is substandard. Weeks pass, still no CD. I call in again and this time the rep said that the order had gotten "stuck in the computer system". He offered to give it "a good kick this time" but I declined and asked for a cancelation and refund instead. I don't know if MusicToday is capable of pulling of this last transaction but since it's just the cost of a CD I'm not going to let them waste anymore of my time accept to do this: I will never order another thing from MusicToday and I will do my best to communicate this experience to as many people as I can to save them the trouble I've had. It takes months to get music from MusicToday if you're luck enough to get it at all. That is not a slogan I'd expect will keep them around long.

Ok so we found a tree on the website eztree.com that we really liked so we ordered it.... way back on November 3 2016. Today is November 29th, a week later than our family would be putting our tree up, and we are still getting the runaround. I keep checking my order daily and it's always the same, no shipping info has been assigned. I have emailed several times and the emails are answered with excuses and false hope. So far I have been told that the trees are at the port authority in Virginia awaiting x-ray. This could take two days to a week. That was week one. Week two the response was department of Homeland Security wanted to keep the trees longer, but they will be released by the end of the week. Your shipping info should be assigned by Tuesday . Week three, department if homeland has still not released our trees, the longest they can hold them is Wednesday. We will start shipping them by 11/29. Uh huh sure. I'm so sick of excuses. They have had three weeks. My payment of 249.99 has already been deducted from my account, immediately actually. Now if only they would be as efficient in getting me my tree. If we do not have shipping info with a solid Tracking number by Thursday I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I will also be expecting a quick refund since we would like to be able to buy another tree from a reputable place before Christmas arrives. I'll keep you posted on what happens. I'm hoping I will get tracking info today and have a tree that my kids love by the weekend. As for now though I say do not order from here. If that changes I will reconsider my rating.

We ordered a 7ft fiber optic Christmas tree from them on 12/09/2015. We received it 2 days later, After we set it up it was on for about two hours when it shut off completly. The transformer was very hot. We let it cool and tried it again but it would not work. i contacted the company on Friday Dec 11th via e-mail and the got back to me that night and said they would another power supply to us on Mon Dec 14th. i contacted them again on Dec 18th because I had not yet received the item and they e-mailed me back saying that the were sending out another power supply via USPS Priority. It is now Dec 25th and I have still not received anything.

I shopped from these guys on Jan 10 2006, where I purchased a Minolta 2430dl Color Laser Printer. I am surprised to see that there are no ratings existing for JR Computers. They processed the order in less than a day, shipped it FEDEX ground. I happened to have received it 1 day earlier than expected to my surprise. I opened the package, set everything up and the printer was up and running in about 30 minutes. I am very pleased with this store, very quick in processing and no problems whatsoever. I would definately buy from this store again.

I bought 1000' of Cat5e from them. It arrived quickly given the holiday season, my lack of power due to an ice storm, and the package's weight. The website is fairly minimalistic. Nothing terribly fancy. Just enough to get across what needs to be known. There aren't any 3rd-party ads or popups to deal with. The price was also most reasonable. All in all I'd rate the experience very well. In fact I'm getting ready to place another order. *UPDATE* -- I placed another order with these guys a couple weeks later and again the product arrived quickly and as advertised. I'd give these folks good marks *twice* if ResellerRatings allowed. :-)

I ordered a replacement bulb on 10/12/2007 for Sony VPL-VW50 and had not received any information via phone or e-mail from the company. I called 10/23/2007 and they said that Sony could not ship projector because of the fires in California and that it would still be some time before shipping. I would have expected the projector to ship before 10 days after the order.
