I have been buying from laptops4me.com for over 3 years. I have a computer business and count on laptops4me to get me parts and help. I have many many order with them and have spent this year over 10,000.00 with them and will continue to grow with them. I just read the reviews below and was shocked and wanted to update everyone who is reading this. Seems like everyone has time to write a bad review. NOBODY HAS TIME TO WRITE A GOOD REVIEW!!! Ordered a 50 pack of 4x DVD-R's knowing they had a less than average rating. Still they did there job. I got a confirmation email and another email to tell me they shipped it. Shipped thurs and got it monday. No complaints, product works as advertised even though it's generic and was a bit worried. $16 well spent. I'll buy from them in the future.

I ordered a Pioneer DVD burner and mistakingly received a NEC burner instead. Attempted to correct order mistake, even offering to pay a restocking fee, but isystor would not respond to my emails. I tried to call the 800 number but it is only a message...no way to speak to a real person or leave a message.

An item in my second order had been damaged, most likely in assembly by the manufacturer. I called TurboLed to report receipt of the damaged item and was told that a replacement would be sent. I got the replacement within a week. I am pleased.

I ordered Two of these power supplies one came damaged and neither had the requested p6 connector for server boards which i had asked if it had it way before i ordered it and was told it did. Then i get the damaged package and was told they couldnt help me til I filed a claim with UPS which most companies do for you. On top of that they today 4/302004 offer to sell me a higher psu with the connector for the same amount as the first one. That is bogus they should either give me money back or send me one with the p6 connector but one of their sales guys told me that last time. They also told me in the email that it would cost as much as the power supply itself to pick it up and send me a new one with what i asked for. They get a bad rep from me and my company for this one not to mention i asked for upgraded shipping and it still arrived a day late and they shipped it the next day not the same day.

I ordered a DVD on 6/7/04. I have yet to receive the product, and I have not been notified that my order was cancelled. They gave me a tracking number which indicated the package was delivered in Texas. That is not the address I gave them or in my records with the company. They asked questions about why I didn't receive it. Why was it not sent to the correst address?

I feel obliged to rate this retailer because I saw so much rhetoric on this and other websites, it made me very cautious. In the end it was a comment on the C-Net site that asked for input if I had any problems with one of the retailers advertised on the C-Net site, that swayed me to deal with Cameras & Electronics (C&E). I was pricing a Panasonic AG-DVC30 camera, and the pricing at C&E was agressive on this product. There were a number of sites with prices considerably (40%) lower, however I knew that a price that low brought trouble; and they were not on C-Net. My call went to hold for 5 minutes, (with please be patient reminders every 30 secs or so) but I knew these people were busy and when I was answered I immediately stated that I had seen their site on C-Net and was interested in this particular camera. The salesman said yes, and quoted me the same price as was on the C-Net price survey. Now, being forewarned and alert, I asked what was included in the purchase and the answer matched the data from other more expensive sites, and the next question I asked was if the product was in stock and the answer was yes. I finally asked if this purchase would be followed by an e-mail request to call and was told those calls are a function of e-mail orders only. OK, I want to buy. Name address etc., credit card number, and I was then pitched on a filter set, (no thanks), a UV filter, (yes, thank you for reminding me), a better price on the filter set, (no thanks again), do you need tapes, (yes, I'll take a 3 pack), and then the inevitable pitch for the extended warranty. I listened to the pitch, said no thanks, listened again, again no, finalized all the info and got the third pitch for the warranty and again declined. Persistent, like a good salesman, (they only get one chance), but not rude and after three tries we moved on. Thanks for your business, you will get a tracking number. Eighteen hours later the tracking number appeared and three days later the camera arrived. The camera was in a factory sealed box and in perfect condition, exactly as promised. The freight was $81. plus change, I had said that was high, he said it is for shipping, handling, packaging and insurance. More importantly I knew the shipping in advance because the C-Net ad had done the calculation before I called. Just checking. They were consistent. As an interesting point, the first notification of shipping came from "Abe's Cameras" (or something similar but definately Abe's), and I figured they were probably also Abes of Maine, who are also in New York. Same people I think. If you buy from any of these discount houses, be realistic and expect to be pitched for extras. The extended warranty in particular is a big money maker and they will try hard to sell. Just listen politely and let the man do his job, and then my standard answer is, "i'd prefer not to do that now, thank you". Relax and let him do his job again, and if you choose, reject it again. Their job is to get you to add to the purchase price of the deeply discounted product. If you can't take the sales pitch, buy from a big box and pay the balance, but I saved about $300.00 buying from C&E. If the measure of a "10" is satisfaction and completion, then C&E get a "10". I got what was promised, in the time frame promised, at the price that was promised. Yes I was pitched hard (but politely) but I expected that and understand it is part of the procedure. I can say "no", if I mean it and I had no trouble. More importantly I believe you get back from people what you give them. These people work on slim margins and they are in business to make money. Know that going in, keep emotion out of the deal, be polite like your mother taught you, protect ypurself by using credit cards, and again, it was the C-Net protective phrase that moved me off center. I wold most definately buy from Cameras and Electronics again.

I ordered the camera and video camera in late November for a Christmas present. I got the package the week before christmas, and wrapped it up as it was. The present was opened a few days before Christmas, with only the video camera. I called and emailed the company immediately. I was told that it was out of stock. I was never notified of this, and I was changed for both the video camera and the missing still camera, which I know for a fact is illegal, I cannot be charged until the item ships. I was told that the missing would be shipping. I asked for a return call once the item shipped, and that it would be overnight shipped. I told them the date in which I required the camera or a cancel and credit on my card. I had received no call by the date that I required. I called them and told them to cancel the missing still camera and credit my card. I then called my credit card and they calceled/disputed the carge for the part of the order that was missing. When I was out of town on Christmas day, I checked my email remotely and had received a shipment notification from them. When I got back home the weekend after Christmas, the camera was here. Though Christmas was ruined for the recipient of the gift,I decided to go ahead and keep the camera. I immediately called my credit card company and said to go ahead and allow the charge. It ws put back on for my Jan. bill. The next I know, in May, Cameras and Electronics called my wife at work (I have no idea how they got her #) and just started yelling at her as to why I haven't yet paid. That night, I checked my credit card statements, and in April (I believe) my credit card company, for some reason, took the charge off of my credit card again. I had them put it back on. This is THE WORST business, by far, that I have dealt with, not even counting their breaking the law by charging me for items that I did not get (but did eventually). Anything that you can do to make sure that word gets out regarding this hack of a company would be appreciated. I have made sure to get this information out as widely as I can on the internet.

I purchased a computer from this company back in April. A few months ago, we attempted to use a new video graphics card and larger hard drive when we discovered that the Asus bios did not support them. Contacted PCProDirect regarding this problem and we were told that the bios was not an upgraded one and would need to be flashed. They sent us the program to do it and we went at it. Unfortunately, flashing the bios is always dangerous and it failed. Of course, the bios chip was no longer good. We contacted them and they said this was common and that we should ship them the bios chip and they would send us a new one that is already flashed. As per warranty, we paid for the shipping and sent the old bios chip and waited 10 days to receive the new one. We did receive it within the 10 days but unfortunately it was not flashed and had several other problems. We contacted PCProDirect again and they said to send them the entire system this time. Find, but we were to pay for the shipping again even though this was not our fault. The company obviously failed to send us the proper chip and to pay over $30 dollars for their mistake I feel is inappropriate. When I spoke to the CEO of the company about this, he refused to cover the cost and said that it was 6 months ago and they shouldn't even be fixing it anyway even though the computer was covered for a full year under warranty. When I told him that it was unaccpetable to expect me to pay for the shipping due to their negligence he got upset and said they would refuse to sell anything to us any longer. I feel this matter was handled terribly. I will admit that I received the computer timely. But customer service such as this is unacceptable. It does not matter to me that they will no longer sale to us. But it does upset me that I now have a 6 month computer that is completely useless and the company will not be fixing it even though it is still under warranty. I will be going through Asus to fix this problem, but PCProDirect is definitely a company I will no longer be purchasing from and will be advising customers, family and friends to do the same.

I too ordered from the Softwareyard when I say Norton Utilities 2003 for around 5 bucks. The order went through Yahoo shopping as they were a member (at the time). I received confirmation that very same day. The next day, I noticed that they were no longer a Yahoo merchant. I contacted them via email to ask what was going on, and if everything was OK with my order. They responded shortly after, and explained that they were leaving Yahoo Shopping, and that Yahoo "pulled them off" too soon. That was the last I have heard from them. Several other emails to inquire about the shipping of my order have either returned undeliverable, or have not been answered. I fear that my money has been lost. I will await my next chargecard statement, and if it has been charged, I will dispute it and report this firm. There still may be time for me to get the order, but with no correspondance from them, I hold very little hope. P.S. Prior to ordering...I asked them about the negative comments about them "pirating" or "copying" software. The insisted that they could not stay in business if they did so, and they send exactly what they say they do as represented by they ads..ie...OEM software. I'd settle for a pirated version now.... I ordered two copies of Nero version 6.0 through TheSoftWareyard's Pricegrabber interface. At first, they only sent me one. After I contacted them via e-mail, they sent me another one. Surprise, surprise. BOTH CDROMS THAT THEY SENT HAVE THE SAME SERIAL NUMBER (ending in 7268)! The CDs that these people are selling are obvious CDR recordables and come in plain, white disc envelopes. These people are selling ILLEGAL pieces of software. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered an LCD from these people, and received no confirmation of order or invoice, except a confirmation of Credit Card payment 4 days after I ordered. I called them up 13 days later still waiting for a shipment that I haven't received and was assured I would receive an email stating when I would receive my order. 4 days later, still waiting I got someone on their live chat, which was having problems. After a few disconnections, I received an email that stated that my order was pending because they needed confirmation on a comparable lcd replacement to be sent to me. Nothing was ever sent to my inbox on this pending status until I went on their live chat 17 days after the order. I asked for my money back, and they immediately did so. I would not recommend these people at all to anyone, especially since I just found another store that would send me the lcd for $50 cheaper, including next day air. The Fair Price Shop would have taken 3-4 days shipping from overseas paying the same amount for shipping.

Ordered one LCD panel on 11/1/2005. Received an e-mail on 11/10/2005 saying orders were delayed by Hurricane Wilma, and asking if I still wanted my LCD. I confirmed this, so they charged my credit card on 11/16/2005. The charge was from the UK, although the site shows a Miami physical address. Not good. I have e-mailed them several times. Website went out of operation for a while and then came back. On 12/12/2005, they claimed they were going to FedEx the panel the next day. Nothing. On 1/26/2006 I demanded a refund. "Ammar" claims the "card was refunded a long time ago." Of course I checked my statements and found no refunds. My last two e-mails have gone unanswered. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I placed an order for a Lowrance Ifinder Pro on the 5th of May. When the order could not be tracked, I tryed to contact them by phone and email to cancel the order. On the 8th of May the charge appeared on my credit card. On the 10th of May they called and said they needed my credit card number to credit my account. This did not happen. On the 18th of May they called and asked if it was okay to send a check and were told yes. At this writing I have received nothing.

I ordered a Garmin GPS-V Deluxe on 6/17/2004. My credit card was billed within three days. On 7/01/04 I still had not received my order and sent e-mail requesting status,no response.I sent follow up e-mail on 7/3 and 7/12. On 7/12 I received status as "out of stock" and have been for three weeks. Supplier was promising delivery any day during this time, please advise if you don't want to wait. On 7/19 I sent e-mail requesting cancellation of order and credit my account. Also, e-mails on 7/20,21,24 and phone calls on 7/22&23, as well as, "contact us" on their website...no response! This company is not responsible and "taints" the image of all the fine companies that operate websites. I plan to file an Internet Fraud Complaint to help this company "out".

I was slightly skeptical because of only 1 cutomer rating, but was very pleasantly surprised. this company has an extremely easy to use web site....very timely tracking information...and good customer service (good job Mike). I would definitely order from this reseller again. I only ordered COA stickers for XP , but because the transaction went off without a hitch (except UPS didnt make 2nd commitment..not resellers fault)..I will order here again.. ***NOTE 7/31/04**** I have order a couple more times since initial review and all transactions go without ever a problem. I ordered an XP Home OEM license the night of January 4th and the license arrived in good order on January 7th. I activated my XP installation and am a happy camper. The price was excellent and included USPS priority mail shipping. They didn't have many ratings here so I felt I might be taking a chance but I am very satisfied now.

I sent a Moneygram for $380 for an Ipod to Nikolin Dollani in Amsterdam, following Beth Romano's instructions. After that I never heard from Beth again and never received the Ipod. I can't believe that Google is still putting this website up! I contacted the FBI, following the advice on the ratings site.

I ordered a Sony HDTV 36XS955 and a matching stand from this vendor on 1/4/05. My card was charged on 1/5/05 for the entire order. On 1/7/05 the stand was delivered but no TV. I called and was told that the TV was due to go out that day and I should receive a confirminig e-mail later that day or the next business day. After receiving no such e-mail I called back two business days later and was told the TV might go out the next day but to call to check. When I called the next day I was told it would not be available until the next week (all this time their website showed the product in stock). I cancelled my order and requested a prepaid DHL label to return the matching stand and asked for a full refund, which they siad I would get. They sent the prepaid return DHL label and I sent the stand back. After confirming the TV stand arrived back to their warehouse and after waiting another three days for a refund I e-mailed and sent a letter again requesting a refund. The next day, after no response, I called requesting a refund and got voice mail. After receiving no return call or e-mail, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Good thing I kept all the records. Bad company.

I purchase a canonEOS Digital Rebel 6.3 I bought the Exective Kit total price 1334.95. They still have not completed my order for a few items. I have discovered that I was charged twice. I ordered on my Master Charge then cancelled the order. I called and was told that If I would place the order agin on my Discover Card they would get it here for Christmas apparently they did not ccredit my Master Card. I reall don't know what to do they won't answer the phone or emails. HELP

Made two orders so far and Wizard's Cupboard has been prompt and exact. I also like how they wrap the single cards I buy there in multiple layers of cellophane so as to minimize any potential damage to the cards while simultaneously water-proofing them.

I returned a bra to them, with my exchange choices, and not hearing anything for a month, called the toll free number. The woman that answered definitely needs lessons in customer service. Bonnie (?) over-talked me, never allowed me to speak, interrupted me when I spoke. What I wanted to say was not important to her, only what she had to say. I was originally gonna keep my exchange on back-order... but after this experience, I canceled it. I can order from somewhere else where they actually appreciate their customers. Now I'm just hoping to get my refund.

this is a copy of the letter wrote to customer service this is regarding an order i made a month ago for a $100 gift card that i never received. i never received it via mail like it should have been sent. i wrote a letter to customer service more than once inquiring about this, and they responded that it comes in an e gift card. their website never stated that anywhere! and the picture of the gift card, is an actual gift card, not an e gift card. so customer service then proceeds to tell me that they were going to resend it to me, and also that "i" was supposed to log into my account on their site, to view it then print it. really? im supposed to know to do that for something i ordered that was never stated to do so! so not only did i never receive the email that customer service said they were going to send that was a copy of the gift card, but i tried logging into my account as they told me and tried to re-send it numerous times to myself, each time i did, i got an email back saying that its undeliverable. customer service is a joke, their policies are ridiculous, when i made an order one time a few years ago i should have learned my lesson then. items took weeks upon weeks to get here, literally so long and so many messages i had to send about the whereabouts and i kept getting the runaround. then the items get here, i paid for quality items, they were cheap and not as described by any means, so their return policy is not clear at all. if you go to their site and read their rules for return criteria it is unreal. if you order more than 1 of a kind items, only 1 is refundable. and then youd still be accessed a %15 surcharge fee. returns for refund must be postmarked 30 days from ship date, but thats impossible because they either never send the items or they take longer than 30 days. an you have to pay the return shiping. i have never in my life gone through this with ANY ANY ANY COMPANY OR BUSINESS. I tried to return all items a few years ago, and they gave me a credit months later. i forgot i had it, and decided to purchase a gift card a month ago for someone for a gift card, never got that and am out even the credit, and the $100 gift card "OK I AM REPORTING YOUR COMPANY AND WEBSITE TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND AM ESCALATING THIS ISSUE WITH YOUR COMPANY. YOUR SITE IS SUCH A SCAM!!! YEARS AGO I ORDERED ITEMS FROM THERE, THEY TOOK WEEKS AND WEEKS TO GET HERE, THEN YOU TOOK FOREVER TO GIVE A CREDIT FOR THEM WHEN I SENT THEM BACK, SO I DECIDED NOW TO ORDER A GIFT CARD TO GIVE TO SOMEONE ELSE WHICH WAS A MONTH AGO. NO WHERE DID IT SAY THE GIFT CARD WOULD BE EMAILED. WHEN YOU CHECK OUT IT SHOULD SAY, IT DOESNT. SO I EXPECTED IT TO BE MAILED, YOU KNOW LIKE AN ACTUAL GIFT CARD WOULD BE, BUT NO OF COURSE NOT. I WAITED WEEKS YET AGAIN, FOR SOMETHING THAT NEVER CAME, THEN RECEIVE A MESSSAGE FROM YOU TELLING ME I NEEDED TO GO TO MY ACCOUNT TO GET IT. WHICH IS BULL. WHAT COMPANY DO YOU ORDER FROM THAT YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR OWN WORK TO OPEN YOUR OWN GIFT CARD!? RIDICULOUS!!!!!! SO, YOU SAID YOU EMAILED IT TO ME, I NEVER GOT IT OF COURSE, THEN WHEN I DID WHAT YOU SAID BY GOING TO MY ACCOUNT AND SENDING IT TO MYSELF, WHICH I HAD TO TRY TO RESEND IT 3 TIMES, IT NEVER CAME AND WHEN SOMETHING DID IT SAID IT WAS UNDELIVERABLE. NOT TO MENTION THAT I THE CREDIT I DID HAVE WAS MORE THAN $100, SO FOR ME TO NOW ONLY HAVE $2 AND CHANGE LEFT FOR A CREDIT, IS UNKNOWN. BUT IT DOESNT MATTER WHETHER I HAD A CREDIT OR NOT BECAUSE YOUR COMPANY NEVER ACTUALLY GAVE IT TO ME. I ordered DSV26B-24 Albums & Binders, Binders, 2-ring, for CDs or DVDs, Vinyl Binder with Matte Interior, black, holds up to 26 discs. These are well-made. The rings open and close easily and the binders have a plastic cover that allows you to insert descriptions of what the binder contains; either on the front or back or on the side. There is no better price for these binders other than Polyline (after much searching). These are perfect. There is no improvements needed for this product.

I bought a brand new Sony notebook from maincomp.com on March 21 and received it on March 30. When I opened the packing box, I found that the original seal was broken. I called this merchant right away.I talked to Benson Wong from maincomp.com and explained that he sent me the broken seal notebook. He kept saying whether I tested it or not.I've never tested anything included this notebook. I explained him that I couldn't sell it because this notebook was for my customer in Korea. My brother runs the most reliable online store in Korea. My brother imports notebooks, desktops, computer accessaries and cell phone accessaries from USA, Japan, Taiwan and Hongkong and his company's promise toward customers is "never sell the broken seal item to customers unless customers want to buy the open box item". I have been helping my brother for 5 years. Benson Wong told me that he could give me some rebate, but I said that I didn't need it because this notebook was for my customer, not me. As a reseller for 5 years, I have similar experiences like this. Anyway, my customer in Korea cancelled the order because the customer in Korea didn't want the opened item. Finally I returned the notebook on April 4, and received a call from Maincomp today, April 10. They said that I used this notebook, so they have to charge me 15% of restocking fee. What a ridiculous situation. I AM A RESELLER. Why should I be stupid to lose my customer and pay the %15 of restocking fee??? I believe that they set me up everything. I don't know how to set up the window. They told me that the notebook has already been set up the window. How am I supposed to know whether this notebook has sep window or not without opening the box???? I am living with my husband, 2 years old daughter and 1 year daughter.

Tracking number link on site didn't work, but copying & pasting to UPS gave me the correct shipping info.

I ordered a Samsung LN-S3251D on March 8 and my charge card was charged the next day. I e-mailed 3/17 (Sat) and heard from Toi on 3/19 that my product would be received 3/26 - 28. Interesting, since I would have expected to receive a tracking number well before delivery. Today, 3/26, I get a form e-mail from Customer Service saying it will be another couple weeks! So I figure its time to check them out better and find the comments on ResellerRatings.com. I was disappointed to find many negative comments. So, I send an e-mail to them that I need a tracking number by end of day Wednesday 3/28 or I will contact Amex and reverse the charges. But then, lightning strikes! On Thursday, 3/29, just before I call to cancel my order, my wife says I have a phone message from James, the manager of customer service. His message says my TV will be delivered the next day. Sure enough I find an e-mail with a tracking number that confirms the message. Friday 3/30 the TV is delivered. I feel lucky and I am upgrading my evaluation to "Somewhat Satisfied."

Ordered two "new" cds, never got any email and didnt hear from these guys for over 2 weeks. After about 20 emails asking where they were they said they were on their way. another week and a half went by and I finally received my order: one was completely wrong and the other was used and scratched. when I gave them negative feedback on ebay they responded by giving ME negative feedback, as if I did something wrong! I will NEVER EVER deal with this company again and I warn you not to do so either!

Placed an order early October, order didn't arrive at my door until THREE WEEKS to the day after they received my payment. NEVER able to get them on the phone, all calls are automatically forwarded to a voice mail system, in the three weeks I only spoke to a real person once, and that was when I was making payment arrangements. After 3 messages left on the voice mail and 5 emails, I was finally contacted with a tracking number. However the tracking number was BOGUS! I emailed them again 5 days later, after learning the tracking number was bad, and demanded either verifiable proof that a package was on the way or an immediate refund. I received an email back with a valid tracking number this time and the package arrived airmail 2 days later. Bear in mind that the package wasn't even shipped until this time, which was 2 days shy of them having my payment for 3 weeks, so in reality it took almost 3 weeks for them to ship! Obviously from the other reviews people have had similar problems, however I was lucky enough to receive what I ordered. NO explanation was given why this order took 3 weeks to arrive. In all fairness I received exactly what I ordered in excellent condition, and aside from the wait time the price was outstanding. I suppose the wait was worth it to save over $40-$50, HOWEVER I honestly believed I had been ripped off and wasn't going to receive anything, considering they didn't return my calls or emails and they gave me no updates on the status of the order. From everything I've read here and my own experience with ADOSYSTEMS, I'm very confused what their deal is. *NOTE the [email protected] address seemed to get me a response, while the [email protected] didn't.*

Hello all, I am a new customer (all the way from Melbourne, Australia) to Alfred E. Bike (of Kalamazoo, MI) having chanced upon their store during a google search whilst browsing for some new accessories and bike wear I needed. Over the past couple of months I have been making quite a few purchases of gear and I just so wish I'd found Alfred E. Bike much sooner than I did! It's not that I've had any issues whatsoever with any of the other great businesses that I've had the pleasure to deal with (in both Europe and the US). In fact those other businesses have been quite good in nearly all respects, however Alfred E. Bike have taken professional service to new heights for me. From their straightforward and easy to navigate website, through their very extensive catalogue of almost anything that you are likely to want or need, to their VERY competitive pricing and reasonable shipping costs, the whole search, review and ordering process is an absolute breeze. But then the most fantastic and wonderful surprise was to find that despite the almost (as the crow flies) 10,000 miles (9794 to be precise) that lies between Kalamazoo (MI, USA) and Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) (thats 15,761 km's), not to mention the numerous transit ports for mail, transitioning through customs in the US and Australia, that my order of various odd shaped bits and pieces, arrived here on my doorstep with a friendly knock from my local "postie" just seven days after ordering!!! As I have said in separate thanks communication to the Stevensons and all at Alfred E. Bike, it is simply "bloody awesome stuff". www.abctoy4me.com was something I found when I was attempting a find a Japanese toy for an economic price. Low and behold, they held the item I sought and for a really nice price. Heck, it was a steal. The fact that this shop was in the continental United States helped matters where shipping was concerned. No need to deal with customs and the like. They have a nice selection of Japanese toys. Price ranges will vary. Generally your more expensive items will range on the extreme end of the spectrum of expensive, while some of your lower priced items will be at a good if not bargain price. If you're seeking Revoltechs, Figmas, or figures of that caliber -- I think they're worth checking out. Surfing the site can be a little tedious with its simplistic layout, but it's not horrible nor detrimental. Order processing took a business day or two and shipping arrived promptly. Products were as advertised. This site is a great place to check out if you're trying to find a Japanese toy and don't want to haggle with international sellers. They may not have everything, but if they have what you want odds are you can get it from them at a more convenient price and shipping time. If you worry for the validity of this toyshop, you can put those worries to rest.

SKIP THIS HUGE "DEATILED" PARAGRAPH IF YOU JUST WANT A SHORT REVIEW: I ordered a FF7 Advent Children Cloud & Fenrir set, which was listed as new, on a Friday night. Saturday and Sunday are not business days, and Monday was a Holiday. Got an email Tuesday morning saying that the item was shipped. Item was received 2 days later on the following Thursday. Being in the same State helped the item come in faster. Got the item and immediately opened the shipping box right away. The shipping box was in great shape, the packaging material was just cardboard paper, but the size of the ordered item fit snugly inside the shipping box and did not appear to be damaged. Those were the pros... now here are the cons. When I got the box set, I noticed that the extra hand was floating inside the box, in other words it wasn't in the compartment where it should be, very suspicious. The compartment was near the top and a bit to the right of the Cloud figure. I took a careful look at the tape which keeps the box sealed and based on other products from the same line, the tape was different. Recent Play Arts boxes have used round factory tape, but the early ones used a high gloss rectangular clean cut end tape. This box had regular scotch tape, which had jagged ends. I opened it up anyways. All the items were in a bubble casing, and the bubble casing was attached to a cardboard tray. As I was cutting the tape on the bubble casing, I noticed that the left side had tape connected to the cardboard tray. Again, very suspicious since this was the only side that had tape on the tray. As soon as I got all the tape removed, I removed the top part of the plastic lid. The first thing I did was put the hand back in the compartment and then I grabbed the Cloud figure, which was on the left side of the case, and as soon as I did, his right leg fell right off. It didn't just fall off, it wasn't even connected to it and the only thing that held it in place was the plastic lid. Upon further observation, the joint that connected the leg to the hip was broken. Based on the angle of the broken joint, it appears as though someone was trying to bend the leg all the way back, but couldn't because the toy wasn't designed to do that. This problem is not fixable. Not only was there a problem with the leg, but the actual figure was very loose. Loose as in it felt like it had been played with for days straight. Also, I've checked online for images of a Mint in Sealed Box Cloud and Fenrir and noticed that the straps on Clouds attire were not connected in the same peg as the one I got. So it looked like someone had opened the left side of the package, replaced the Cloud figure and the hand, that being the reason why the hand wasn't in the compartment prior to opening. I didn't even bother touching anything else, I immediately put the figure back and repackaged it. The Fenrir bike did look new though, but then again, so did the Cloud figure. They probably would have gotten away with this had I not opened it. After that, I called up the site telling them about the issue. I was told that a replacement figure would be sent and that I send the damaged one back to them in the same box. If they wanted, they could've just sent me a replacement Cloud and I would have gladly accepted, although I would have to check the Fenrir bike for any problems. They said I would not be charged, but the site says there will be...? I called back 2 more times to ask a few question, but was also told that the item was out of stock and that it would take a few days for them to restock it. I was also given a tracking number even though it was not in stock....? DELIVERY: 5/5 Fast Shipping (helps to be in the same state), but USPS site doesn't keep tracking info up to date. Even hours after it is delivered, the site still doesn't have any updates about an expected delivery date or arrival/departure scans, but that isn't ABCTOY4me.com's problem. COMMUNICATION: 5/5 4 for 4 in call attempts and them answering the phone. All my questions were answered. SATISFACTION IN PRODUCT: 0/5 I feel as I have been ripped off.... until I get the replacement that doesn't come with a broken figure. I hope the replacement isn't broken as well.... Compared to retail price, the product was listed less than half off.... I just wasn't expecting the figure to be broken in half as well. This isn't a Manufacture's error, Square-Enix & Play Arts have been known to make quality products. So, to have the figure come broken and loose the way it did, was obviously not the Manufacture fault, but instead it is ABCTOY4me.com's fault for selling me a returned product that wasn't reviewed. OVERALL: 0/5 Delivery and communication doesn't mean anything when the product I ordered was USED and BROKEN. WILL I ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN? It all depends on the replacement they send me. If it turns out to be NEW as it was listed, then I would definitely be coming back for more.

Due to an error (probably mine), the emailed invoice indicated the shipping costs would be in excess of $50 for overnight delivery, well exceeding the cost of the relatively inexpensive fans. Since I had not done business with EndPCNoise previously, and did not check resellersrarting.com like I usually do, I was very concerned I was going to eat the huge shipping expense. As it turned out, Luke handled this problem quickly and professionally. It became a non-event. I also appreciate Luke's patience with my level of concern. Purchased a Garmin IQue 3600 256 NavKit from GPS Explorer. Delivery was delayed a bit due to 1 - I ordered on Thanksgiving weekend and 2 - The company must speak with you to confirm a delivery address other than your billing address. Having been had by online resellers before, I'll take that inconvenience, though. Product arrived as advertised, new and no upselling or hard sell when I did call to verify my order. Very pleasant customer service and aside from long hold times (3-5 minutes) it was a good experience. Overall the transaction was good, not great, but I would certainly order from them again and if you are shipping to the same address as your creidt card billing address your transaction should be even smoother than mine.

My experience summary is the following: My company was under a very tight deadline for a massive mailing so I was going to purchase a letter folder 1. I called and was told by the seller that the item was in stock in their warehouse and would be shipped in 24 hours. Based solely on this information, I purchased the item. 2. I was lied to about the shipping of the item and given a false tracking number the following week. The tracking number never updated or indicated any packaged was shipped! I called UPS and confirmed that there was never a package shipped with the number he gave! 3. Eventually seller admitted item was NOT in stock and never had been shipped. 4. Was told the manufacturer would not ship them because of a defective part. 5. After asking very politely to cancel the order, seller refused!(even after all the lies and false information given!) He actually had the arrogance to say I had to buy different items from him instead of canceling my order! I have sent more emails than I care to admit trying to work with the seller and several phone calls. The people at this company are very rude, greedy and refuse to refund your money even if they don't ship the item! These guys are sleazy.

They stated that the refund had been issued on three different dates, but that has been untrue. The company president stated that the refund was posted on February 11, 2005. I have been extremely satisfied with my two orders (to date) from Big 10 Media. It's clear to me that Big 10 Media's principal just wants to deal with legitimate customers (usually professional) who, in turn, just wish to deal with a legitimate, business enterprise. I checked them out, substantially(!!), before wiring a few kilo-dollars to them, who wouldn't? And I think they checked me out too. The good news, though, is that I have not one thing at all to criticise about my transactions, whereas I have much to applaud. They communicated receipt of payment, shipping dates, consignment details and more. There was no over-promising. I received timely and polite answers to my questions, Advice at each stage of the delivery process, FedEx tracking numbers etc. This company's ethics, in my experience, are exceptionally good! I wish them well. PRICING? I've seen cheaper, but then cheaper usually means "cheaper". Peace of mind is worth a lot to me. I would enjoy dealing with Big 10 for the third time, and beyond.

I ordered a laptop screen from these guys - spoke to Todd Gillespie specifically. He helped me figure out which exact laptop screen I needed. After it arrived and I installed it, it didn't seem to be working right (just cycled through primary colors rather than display the Windows login screen). Todd was glad to speak with me by phone to get it resolved. It turned out I just hadn't securely fastened the cable directly to the connector on the back of the screen. Did that, and it boots up great now. This is where I will buy all my screens from now on!

I ordered online on the 27th of December. The next day I received an email saying that I had to call to confirm. The company is on the East coast and is only open while I’m at work. I called from work and wasn’t completely alert while doing it, though I did catch that the price wasn’t quite right. I confirmed and then after checking their online “order status” I called back to inform them I didn’t order two computers. After arguing with me about weather or not I actually ordered two online they finally said they would change it, but I had to call three times and email twice before I finally got to that point. I waited until the 13th of January to call again and find out why the shipping status hadn’t changed and why there were still two computers listed on my order. The customer service lady told me that my computerS would be shipped the next day. ComputerSSS? I only ordered ONE. And the arguing begins again. Then she says, “oh did they tell you that you’ve been upgraded to the A75 S2292?” What?? No! I knew nothing about the S2292 and though I was leery, she did say upgrade. She said it would be shipped later that day. After I hung up I looked up the S2292…It cost more than the S229 and had a smaller hard drive. I tried to call back, but I was at work and by the time I was able to they the customer service department had closed. I tried calling the next day even though there was a tracking number on the order status, but on Fridays they close even earlier. So on the 14th of January I sent an email to the three email address of theirs that I know, [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. And as always the response from that witty bunch was, CALL 1800 374 2324. So I called again…First they tried to tell me, “but the computer we’re sending is better?” But it’s not the one I ordered and you’re charging me more money without my approval! Then, “Well of course it cost more it’s a better computer!” He didn’t seem to understand that, had wanted the “better” more expensive one I would have put that one in the shopping cart. So then the phone changes hands and someone else tries to tell me that I called and confirmed that order. I wasn’t convinced. His Jedi mind trick don’t work on me, so I told him that I was taking the charge off my card, and hung up. I found PriceMad on cnet also and it’s funny their order staus pages looks very similar, and guess what? When I put in my phone and order number…out came my order info.

Have been desperately looking for a Canon EOS 10d camera for the past several weeks. Phoned Plasma Kings and was reassured by salesperson that they were in stock. I specifically asked if they were backordered or special order and was told again that they were in stock. I placed the order via their website and then received a confirmation email stating that the camera was backordered for 1-2 weeks. They gave me the option of cancelling my order simply by replying to the email. I have opted to cancel the order, but I'm still waiting for my online order status to show that it has been cancelled. I live in Spokane WA and our local camera dealer is Huppins. They go by onecall.com on the internet. I contacted them yesterday and they told me they expect at least 2 shipments of the 10d starting Jan 23. I would recommend them and avoid other places that advertise prices lower than around $1499.

Originally I bought my tv stand at wayfair but they gave me inaccurate amount of screws and parts and took more than a month and I still haven’t received the missing parts. So I ask for refund and found standsandmounts.com. not only did the guy answered all my questions, he went further by making sure it’s compatible with my 85” Sony tv. And received the tv stand in 3 days. I’m very happy with the service and I’m glad I bought it here because it looks way better than the one at wayfair.

Would give zero stars if it wS an option. I am incredibly disappointed in Puma's customer service. I placed an order on 4/26 and have yet to receive it after receiving an email that it was shipped on 4/28. I have sent 2 emails to Customer Service with no response 2 weeks ago. I also was promised a credit by 2 representatives I chatted with and have not received that either. The last repesentative I chatted with was obvious she was getting agitated as she started typing me in all caps and she ended the conversation without asking if i had additonal questions. I will never purchase a Puma product again. I am sure more people would feel the same if they ever had to come in contact with those that represent this company.

I placed an order for Cape Aloe capsules on June 30th, 2010. My credit card was charged that same day and I received an order confrimation email stating that the order had been received and that the charge was placed upon my account. According to the website at the time of purchase, the item was available and would be to me in an average of 4-10 business days. Three weeks passed and we heard nothing about this order. Meanwhile, my husband has been suffering with IBS symptoms that only this product seems to relieve. I finally called Zooscape and was told by the young woman I spoke to that the item was actually out of stock and that she would research the order and send me an email letting us know what the status was. Several hours later I decided to call back as I had not heard anything. I spoke to a different woman who then gave me the same story. I mentioned that most companies DO NOT charge you for items that are out of stock or are backordered expressly to avoid charging people for items they would not receive. I also asked why no one in the company had bothered to inform us that the item was not available and that it had not shipped. The representative promised me we would receive a reply email within 2 business days. Two days later we received an email promising us that the item was being expedited and that we would receive a refund for the shipping charge for the inconvenience. A week later (July 29th) we still had not seen the item or the refund. My husband called the company to find out why. The phone was answered by a woman who claimed she was the only one in the office and the only thing she could tell us was that the item was still out of stock and still had not been sent. She then proceeded to tell my husband that she would have to pass this issue to someone else but, of course, there was no one to pass it to since she was alone and we would hear back from someone on Friday, July 30th. Today is Saturday, July 31st. We never heard back from anyone at Zooscape regarding this item or refund. The item still shows that is available for order and nothing on their webpage indicates that the item is out of stock or currently on back order. I left a terse voicemail with regards to the poor handling of the order and questioning the outright lying the company has done. After reading these reviews, I don't expect to receive a response. The bottom line is that the Zooscape still has my money and I have no product. We were first time customers to this company and they have shown us nothing but sleaziness and deceit. I cringe to think this company has my credit card information. If you are considering doing business with them, I say caveat emptor. You have been warned. My final say is that if I have not seen this satisfactorily resolved in the next five business days I will report them to the BBB. EDIT: 8/3/10 - I called this company again today to find out what was going on. I talked to a rep who acknowledged that the company had received my voicemail but didn't bother to call me back. She also said item was still out of stock and there were no refunds in the system for me. I asked to speak to a manager and was once again informed that she was the ONLY PERSON IN THE OFFICE. When I asked if they were a one man operation I was told that all the other people had gone on a "vacation". She was flippant and rude. She asked, "So do you want a refund or what?". Yes! I want a refund! A full refund and immediately. She told me she put the refund in and I "should see it right away". I know that's not how things work in mail order so I asked her how long it would take. She tells me that she put it in the system and that accounts receivable would "get to it" and process the refund. I clarified, "So, whenever someone gets back from vacation to handle this, I should see the refund?" and she said, "Yes". I asked her if there was any way she could tell me how long refunds take once accounts receivable has processed it. She couldn't. This company is a sleazy joke. Steer clear. If you can't, you may be learning an expensive lesson. REBUTTAL TO RESPONSE 8/9/10: The popularity of the product and the difficulty in obtaining it are irrelevant. How you've handled the order and the issues stemming from these facts are what matters. Your representative (Adriana) did not miscommunicate with honest intentions when she stated in plain English that the order was being shipped that day and the refund for shipping was being processed. The fact is the order NEVER shipped and a refund was NEVER processed. Your company should NEVER have charged for an item that was out of stock with no known ETA nor should it continue to advertise said item as in stock and available TO THIS DAY. I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN A CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNT. I have to say I find it incredible that you would even think that I would consider re-ordering Cape Aloe - or ANYTHING - from your company after the way this has been handled. Shame on you! Try legitimate business practices like not charging for items not shipped and staffing your office to handle your customer service issues! What kind of business allows the majority of their staff to vacation leaving ONE person to handle the business? Answer: NONE!

I purchased a gift for my boss that was to be given as a group XMAS present. The owner told me it would ship on Dec. 5 or 6 -- a week went by and I did not receive it. He then said it would ship on Dec. 14 -- he NEVER sent it. None of my subsequent emails were answered. He charged my card on Dec. 2 and never processed the order -- this behavior is considered fraudulent by all watchdog authorities. The transaction is being disputed by the credit card company. Horrible experience with a totally unprofessional vendor!

I purchased 3 dvd's on 1-19-05, Wed but didnt get a response until the 21st Friday stating that my credit card number didnt go thru. when i edit the changes, i didn't get confirmation until monday 24th (weekends are likely not a business day for them) stating it was now on its way to my home. i received dvd's today, 1/27/05. It took awhile, but they were very courteous as to letting me know how the order went. i will order more from here again, but this time i hope there wouldn't be any problems with my credit card or that there wouldn't such a long time lapse.

I ordered 4 "mystery boxes of stuff" on November 27th. My wife ordered 2 "mystery boxes of stuff" on November 28th. Boxes arrives and we got the EXACT SAME ITEMS. Why was I charged for 4 when I got the same items as an order of 2? I called their 800 number. Was told to email support. I emailed their support and got no reply. I called again a few days later. I was told to email support again. I told them I had. They said there was nothing they could do, other than "relay the message to their 'box of stuff' department". I emailed again. No answer. I called back again. They said they would once again relay the message. I am now forced to take this up with my credit card company. I will never shop HomeandBeyond.com or Polsteins again.

This order was placed online at www.homeandbeyond.com on 6/29 and was originally shipped on 7/2. I received an email with a tracking number. On 7/7 the package was returned to origin by UPS - reason on UPS web site "This package was damaged in transit. UPS will notify the sender with the details / all merchandise is being returned". When I didn't hear from Home and Beyond by 7/16, I called Customer Service and was told it was waiting for management approval and he will get it out ASAP. I didn't hear back and on 7/20 I sent an email to customer service - I received a reply with a ticket code stating someone will contact me. Didn't hear anything and on 7/24 I called Customer Service and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a Supervisor who apologized and told me he would ship it out express that day. After 4 days I called Customer Service and asked if my order got shipped yet. I was told it was scheduled to ship that day (the 28th) and I would receive an email as soon as it shipped with a tracking number. On 7/29 when I didn't receive an email, I called Customer Service again fully planning on cancelling the order, and I was told it shipped yesterday. When I got home from work it finally arrived. I would never, ever purchase anything from this reseller again. This company is the worst I've ever dealt with.

First of all I wish I'd checked out these reviews prior to placing mr order with MrModchips as I've now been scammed by them too. They claim to have shipped my order on 16th Jan but it never arrived. Things do get lost in the post so I've been fairly patient with them (waiting through a period of several weeks where their website was down and emails were deleted unread according to their autoresponder). When the website was back up I asked (repeatedly) for the tracking number for the delivery they made so I could check with Royal Mail that it was not being help at the local delivery office. After being ingored for a further week I finally got banned from using their 'help'desk system and told I had to conduct further communications by surface mail. They've relocated to Thailand since I placed the order so this is understandably more tricky. They claim to be processing the lost delivery through the royal mail procedures. I can't help but feel that their unwillingness to provide tracking details for the delivery mean they never actually sent it. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Pleased with my first order and my second went smoothly as well. I ordered an American Standard faucet (4147) on 9/10 and it arrived 9/20. Shipping was free and I saved $20 by joining their mailing list. Even better, I saw the same faucet for over $150 more at our local Expo store. --------------------- Good company. I ordered a Kohler sink (K-3086) on 07/14 and it was delivered on 07/28. This is phenomenal because no one in my area keeps this sink in stock and all said they would need 1-2 months to receive it via special order--at a much steeper price than what I paid. The price at two other online stores I looked at were less expensive, but faucet.com offers price matching and has very good customer service via email and phone (important for me to have a toll-free number to call staffed by knowledgeable people in case there is a problem). They also did not charge my card until the item had shipped, a nice courtesy that many online stores do not extend customers. I was also very pleased with the way the sink was packaged for delivery. The original Kohler box was packed inside a larger box very securely with heavy-duty, high-quality packing material.

I ordered a faucet a month ago. I finally got a tracking number that showed it was delivered to Texas. I am in Colorado. I called, and a replacement faucet was sent, then I got an email saying that order was cancelled. Hold time was over 20 minutes for both calls. I missed my install date. This has been like trying to work my way through an insurance claim, all just for a simple purchase. I give two stars instead of one because the help is friendly.

I placed an order on 12/6, and used a $25 gift certificate. Apparently they have a third party take the order or something like that. Anyway, my order didn't get processed until *12* days later!! They didn't apply the gift certificate either. I e-mailed one customer-service representative, who asked for my gift-certificate number. I told her I had thrown it away (it had been 12 days, so that trash was already gone). I also told her I would be disputing the charge if the certificate wasn't applied. She never replied. I had to call them up too, and I was told that the $25 credit would be applied. Guess what--it never was. So, I have disputed the charge (for $25) with American Express. Stay away from this flaky company.

Placed an order August 18th that was never shipped. I tried to cancel the item that was not shipped and request a refund, but I received no response. I eventually received an email on 9/2/11 stating that the item was no longer available and as of 9/20/11 I am still waiting for a refund. Have gone through Paypal to place a claim and there has been no response to Paypal either. An order placed on 8/2/11 was delayed significantly and I questioned the issue and was told that wharehouse locations had been changed and they were working out the kinks. Now I am seriously questioning if they are going out of business and if I will ever get my $35. I will not ever order from this company again.

I placed an order for three princess costumes for my five year old daughter. It was to be a Christmas present from Santa. Well, here it is the 17th, and not only have I not received my merchandise, and after five e-mails to the company no responses from them, but now I find out that they never charged my credit card. They do not supply a contact phone number either, how convenient. Never order from them is my advice.
